Bob did a fantastic job! So pleased with the new fireplace. He listened to all my concerns and took the time to really do it exactly like I wanted. He put on new stone and hearth along with a new fireplace insert. Looks even better than I had imagined it would. Just waiting to have wood flooring installed to finish off the look. The cat may even love it more, if thats possible.

If I could’ve given them less than one star I would have!!! The installation was a nightmare. I went to do repairs on the rope gasket this morning and found the gasket cement I received when I bought my stove from this place had been previously opened and is hard as a rock. Now I need to find more. Sure would have been nice to receive a new, full tube of cement since I paid 40% more buying from here than I would have buying out of my community area. So much for trying to help the small business in my community prosper. Would NEVER use them again

Had my pellet stove installed 1-15-16 (before and after pics) By them. They did a Great job couldnt be happier. I use the pellet insert to heat the whole house. I have CCHH come back at the start of each winter to clean and service it. Always on time and they take extra care with drop cloths to keep their work area clean. Thank you.

This response is in reply to the comment that the cement you gave me has a shelf life. I agree. However, when I opened the repair kit you gave me when I purchased the stove the bottle of cement had been cut off and no stopper was placed in it to keep it moist, therefore, it dried and turned to rock. So dont for one minute think you were doing the right thing or that my bad review of your business isnt warranted - because it is. You gave a customer a repair kit with cord and a bottle of cement that had been stapled shut yet the bottle of cement was previously opened! A fresh, new bottle of cement should have been put in the repair kit, not an opened and unsealed one!

CCHH did a great job servicing our propane gas fireplace. We had been having issues with the pilot light staying lit on our 18 year old system, so we contacted them to check it out and were told we might have to replace some of the parts depending on what they found. After a thorough cleaning and checking the thermocouple and valve system, Tim told us that he believed no parts would need to be replaced. The system had just needed service. That assessment saved us quite a bit. Bottom-line is that we were prepared to pay more based on the initial discussion we had by phone, but really appreciated the professionalism and honest approach taken by this team on site. We will use them for all our fireplace needs and recommend to friends and family.

I recently completed a pellet stove purchase and install from Chester County Hearth and Home. Bob offered excellent customer service from beginning to end. He was able to answer all of my questions and I am very happy with how things turned out. His installers were polite and knowledgeable. They identified an issue with my chimney cap and were able to repair it at a very fair cost during the installation process. I had a minor issue with my product during the first week that was a result of the manufacturer, nothing to do with Bob or his work, but Bob came out personally and was easily able to rectify the issue. Everything is up and running smoothly and I can rest easy knowing how responsive Bob is should any questions/concerns come up in the future.

Bob spent extensive time with my husband explaining pros and cons of various wood burning fireplace inserts. He seems very knowledgable and fair. His installation was good. I notice he could use some good additional staff as he is seems rather overly stretched.

Bought a farmhouse this summer and had Bob come out to look at installing an insert into the unused fireplace. The team did nice work and hung in there when we discovered a huge yellow jacket nest in the chimney. Bob was responsive to my questions and even looked at the other wood stoves we had in the house to offer his advice. I recommended him to a family member for servicing their insert.

After that exceptionally good experience, I wanted to get our chimney cleaned and a stainless liner installed. Daniel came out to inspect our chimney in mid April, 2018. He was careful with our home and property and respectful of me. He explained everything slowly and with pictures he took of our chimney. He treated me like he was helping out a favorite family member!Four days later, Daniel was back with another tech, Eric. YOU CAN JUST TELL WHEN PEOPLE HAVE THE HIGHEST INTEGRITY. They took their work seriously and again, took the time to explain what they were doing. On top of that, they were good-hearted and cheerful. I have the guys from ChesCo Hearth & Home service my pellet stove at the end of every heating season - their work is great, prices are reasonable and they leave the area clean when theyre done.Recently I had an issue with the blower fan, and Bob came out personally to troubleshoot and repair it. He resolved the issue in no time at all and at no charge. I highly recommend this shop for your wood/pellet heating needs.

We hired them to remove an old wood burning stove, line our chimney and install a new wood burning stove when we purchased our home in are fall. They were able to get us on the schedule before winter set in. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced! Highly recommend to anyone looking to have chimney work done.

I dont think Ive ever been to a place more helpful. Any other business would be fine using industry jargon to avoid truly explaining things; they took the time to make sure i fully understood everything & was comfortable making this investment. Both of their technicians were extremely polite & friendly --- could not have been happier with this entire experience!!!

We have been very pleased with Chester County Hearth and Home for both installation and service that they have provided over the years. Several years ago we had them install a new hybrid wood stove to fit a pre-fab fireplace. This year we installed a pellet stove to augment our poor heat pump for cold nights when we were not able to have the other stove going. They have been very helpful with my questions and have stood behind their products when there have been issues. We feel they provide clear expertise that satisfies our concern that our wood stoves are safe from chimney fires. We will continue to use them for our yearly cleanings.

First go around was not great and was 2 stars.Service did fix the issue, but I was not happy with how my stove and trim work/floor were handled.Within 2 hours received a call to discuss what happened.Very polite follow up. Will give them another shot.

Major job at our home refitting and old stove and building a large, stone, beautiful fireplace with bluestone hearth. The job required new chimney to and all the work was done with much care. Its very much now the centerpiece of the living area. They did a great job! However, any time weve tried for follow--up service its been impossible to get in touch with anyone or have anyone even call us back. Well avoid them in the future.

CCHH replaced a chimney liner in my 1910 house. It was a challenging job that was done well. Installer was prompt, friendly, and neat. Price was comparable to other estimates. Very happy!!

CCH installed our stove. There were multiple issues. I have tried to contact them 6 times. No response except We will get back to you. It has been 9 weeks. WARNING: Buyer beware!!!

I am very disturbed at the dealings we had with this business. They asked for a down payment on an installation of a stainless steel chimney. When they came out to do the job, they had no idea what they were doing. They told us they were going to refund our deposit because they no longer wanted to do the work. They kept $300.00 of our money and did not do the job. We received nothing for our $300.00. We were foolish to trust these people.
