Definitely would recommend this place 100x over European wax center. This is the second time I got a Brazilian done at waxpott and I have to admit the first Time I wasn’t all too thrilled about it. It was mainly due to the first wax specialist I had not being as thorough with making sure most of the hair was pulled off. I had some left over and I feel like she could have done a better job. Plus it was quite which made the experience a bit more awkward. She was nice but I just didn’t feel like the service was really worth the price with her.But then today I was setup with Grace and I have to say she’s AMAZING. She was super sweet and talked the whole time making the process not awkward at all! She explained what was happening as she moved along, also recommended some products for ingrown hairs and overall was super pleasant! And she was SO thorough with trying to get almost every hair! I didn’t even have to ask because she was already on it by making sure to go back for any stragglers. Because of her I love this place! Also the wax they use really helps with preventing any ingrown hairs, and it definitely is not as painful as hard wax, which tends to rip away small pieces of your soul with every strip.If ur going to get a Brazilian done, ask for Grace, trust me you won’t regret it!

The person who was waxing me, in a tiny room with no windows, was not vaccinated. Had I known, I would not have made an appointment here. It was my mistake for not asking beforehand. I assumed that people working this closely with the public in the middle of a global pandemic would take care of themselves and their clients. I’ve been coming here for the last few years. Will never return!

Even though their logo has a honey comb in it, this is NOT sugaring. Very deceiving.

The people who work here are super friendly! The person who waxed my brows was nice & gentle and did a fantastic job with shaping.

I was recommended here by several friends for a Brazilian and was disappointed. The girl did a messy job and left patches of hair. Overall, was very dissatisfied with my wax and had a lot of bumps after. She also did not clean off the wax completely after. I was really looking forward to my Brazilian here and ended up very unhappy with the final result of the wax and with how messy of a job she did.

The wax hurt more than hard wax. She was friendly and professional. All the hair was not completely removed.

I went in to get a lash lift which I have gotten before elsewhere. Im extremely disappointed in the service I received because my lashes do not look any different than when I came in. I was noticeably upset so the manager was accommodating and did not have me pay. Overall I am upset I wasted my time and now I cant do anything with my lashes for at least a month or else they could fry off! I do not recommend getting a lash lift at Waxxpot.

Staff really friendly and nice I came here for a 4 days ago for a Brazilian wax my hair is growing back already and hurts like she waxed pulling the hair out the wrong way she left like a chunk of hair on the inside I wish I would’ve realized before I paid 50 bucks is there no way I can get some refund or have something done?

Went in first thing this morning and talked to a female employee (blond/black hair, short bangs) I believe her name was Ronnie Little (thats what was on my receipt). Told her my situation with a bad eyebrow waxing a few days before and my wedding is TODAY!She was 100% sweet, understanding, asked me what I wanted and went step by step checking along the way of how I felt what I wanted and what else she could do!Fixed my brows and now Im not self conscious about them for the big day!!THANK YOU!

Arrived early because was told I could be seen earlier if I did wasn’t the case so not happy with the desk staff but the young lady who attended me was very nice so will give the place another try before making a final decision

I went in for a Brazilian. The waxer was friendly but when I went home I realized she missed a lot of hair. She didnt show me the final results at the end but maybe I should have asked. She also left globs of wax on my skin that was hard to remove. Overall disappointing because $50 isnt exactly cheap for anyone.

Perfection in waxing!! I have been to this location twice and its fast and easy. The wax professional that I see is very prompt and has never left me waiting for more than a couple minutes. They use quality wax and it doesnt hurt like other waxes I have had. I also think the prices are good. And they give your first visit free or 25 dollars off if you get a wax that costs more than 25 dollars. So you can try it out with no worry. Highly recommend

Waxing with Ronnie is a breeze! I absolutely recommend them! Im still new to waxing personally and everyone Ive encountered has been quick to educate and answer all my questions. My last visit was my first time in a long time and I never felt uncomfortable. I was able to be spaced away from people and I really only saw 3 other people.

The Waxxpot is AMAZING. The building is extremely clean and inviting. The staff all have amazing personalities, and they are extremely professional. I got my first Brazilian wax here and I love it. Im always in and out the door within 10 minutes. Its pretty addicting once you try it because they make it painless. As long as Im living in Columbus this will be my spa of choice for waxing.

I have been coming to this location for a while and loved the girls working there. Sadly, the customer service has quickly become lack luster. Now when I call to make or change an appointment, I am met with rudeness and being rushed to get off the phone. While the girls doing the service are sweet as can be, the front desk girls are not. I will be changing locations after my next appointment.

Gretchen is absolutely fantastic!! EXTRA CLEAN and inviting facility with spotless rooms. Always prompt on the appointment time and no waiting. Staff is very friendly and easy going. Im always in and out quickly. The staff is very nice and make me feel at ease. They play good music and are very neat and clean. I like the wax they use, makes for the least uncomfortable wax experience.

I had a good service however while checking out, they scheduled an appointment for me without asking. The esthetician handed me a card with a date on it. I triple checked with the person working the desk if the appointment was scheduled--she said no. I was clearing out my spam folder today and the appointment was scheduled! When I see their cancellation policy, they probably do this to a lot of people to get the 50% cancellation charge.

This is the best wax place I have been. The staff is very friendly I had my nails done on an impulse it was quick and it lasted. I usually cant keep polish on for more than a couple days this lasted nearly two. You cant top the wonderful professional staff the prices are reasonable. I can not say enough good things about them.

My wife and I recently visited the Waxxpot. We had searched around trying to find a good spot to have some waxing done, and the reviews for the Waxxpot did not disappoint. This was our first time having a wax. The staff was very friendly. Nicole did a great job with both of us, making the experience painless and comfortable. We definitely will be back.

UPDATE: I called them and they had me come back in free of charge! The manager also called me personally saying that I could come back in and have everything taken care of free of charge. Staff is amazing and it seems that it’s a common problem with the first time waxing. After the touch-up I would definitely recommend this place!Just to preface: I was about 7 minutes late to my appointment, so they may have been rushed. I went here to get a waxing service. The ladies working there were very friendly, but the service was not good. There were patches of missed hair, which was disappointing.

I went here to get my lip and eyebrows waxed. At first, I was nervous because last time I got my eyebrows waxed I went to another salon. And, I left looking freaky....That other salon left me with just one skinny eyebrow and the eyebrow was just gone... However, Waxxpot did an amazing job! I left feeling confident and beautiful. This is the only place I will go to get my eyebrows waxed now. Waxxpot know what they are doing and wont let you leave looking crazy(like that last salon I went too...)

I have been getting my brows waxed for over ten years and this is hands down the worst experience that I’ve ever had and the worst my brows have ever looked.It was my first time there and diamond didn’t even ask how I liked them just started waxing.She gives me a mirror five minutes later and my brows are basically gone, they look like the 1990’s pencil thin brows when I like mine fuller with a full arch which I would have explained if she would have taken the time to even ask.She took off too much in the middle on either side, failed to give me an arch and they’re way to thin.

I got two waxes from Waxxpot the first being pretty average / good, and the second was okay. A few days after the second wax I got a bacterial infection (Cellulitis) on my inner thigh. A dr said that it may have been a result of the waxing irritating my body weakening my defense and the introduction was likely at the salon. Cellulitis is a common but sometimes serious infection and it caused streaking on my leg and a lot of discomfort. I know Waxxpot isnt liable and this sort of thing can just happen so no hard feelings against them, but I likely wont go again

Just moved to the area, and I did some research about waxing salons around town. This was one of the most recommended places. They were very nice via phone and in person, and even held my appointment by a few minutes while I looked for parking at the downtown location (because parking is miserable).My appointment was pretty quick, and Alex was more than accommodating to my needs (ie getting me water, giving me as long as I needed during the appointment, etc.)Having 50% off of the first appointment is always nice as well, and a great way to get people in the door; and compared to other places in the area, even paying full price is a really good deal by at least $20 before tip and tax.I will be coming here from now on for sure, maybe arriving a bit earlier to ensure I find parking :)

For the price they need to make sure everyone on the staff is consistent. I have been told by other people here that hard wax should not be used on my face because it wont catch enough. Today, the waxer used hard wax, it took forever, and I didnt have a chance to inspect it there because I was running on a tight schedule. Now that Im home, I can see that she did a bad job and all that ripping was for absolutely nothing.

First time, and no complaints! A very quick process not as painful as I thought it would be Taylor was awesome talked her ear out (lol I was so nervous and scared!) but overall a very quick-painless experience.

Changed from 2 to 5 stars. Had appointment at 2 didn’t get in until 3 because they took someone else by accident. Then the power went out so they gave me 2 $20 gift cards for next time. Not bad for an hour wait.Edit: changing it to one star. Person burned me really bad with wax and left a deep red burn under my eyebrows and looks really bad. Even got a picture. Its been 4 days after the wax and still has not faded.

Throughout the entire process everyone was polite, and professional in conducting business. Also the process was of minimum discomfort. They need to get their cancellation policy straight. I was told cancellation is acceptable by leaving a voice message the night before the appointment. And now they came up with new policy that you can leave the voice message only 4 times. I mean it is just waxing - not a life saving appointment - a person can get sick or can have an emergency. If I am sick or have to work on a Saturday then waxing is the least of my priority. They charged me 44$ for nothing. ENJOY FREE MONEY!! now i have to look for a different place with some more practical policies.

Each stylist tried to tell me what i wanted and continued to say thick brows are in. I have a thin face in which thick brows are extremely awkward on. I refuse to go to this store again due to the lack of sensitivity on my part. My eyebrows are naturally extremely thick and i want to actua see a difference when i leave a salon.

Its a nice clean place. Nice staff and service. I went in for free wax and did lip and brow. Not a great job. Im one of those nearly blind people. I didnt notice till i got home that ther were still patches of hair on lip and some missed spots on brow. I could do better at home. However it did allow me to check out that waxing isnt as bad as i thought it would be.

I go here for Brazilian waxes. I love that they have a student discount and they’re waxing is quick. However, some of the girls rush through the wax and have left me with an uneven strip and forgotten to use finipil which was disappointing.

I had an appointment with Janaiah and got my eyebrows done and I couldnt be any happier! Not only did she make the whole experience super comfortable, she also did an excellent job! If you need waxing done and done right, I highly recommend Janaiah at Waxxpot, she will get you looking amazing!!!

I have been getting my lip waxed for 4 years and the two times I have been here were bad experiences. The receptionists were nice and scheduling was easy but the service sucked. The specialist did two quick strips and missed large spots (my hair grows close to my lip and they TOTALLY missed it, which is the most noticeable spot). I had to go home and pluck most of it, which is unpleasant. They didnt take a close look and treated my service as if it was unimportant. I also needed another wax 10 days after, when usually I can go around 3 weeks. Will not be back.

The branding of everything is really clean and nice, and I like that you can book online (pretty standard in the industry now).The first time I came here, the technician started waxing me in places where I had no hair, saying it was part of the service to get any peach fuzz in case I had any in that area (I didnt). When she finished the entire session, I looked and found that she hadnt done a very clean wax job in terms of hair removal - I still had quite a few left in the area where she was supposed to wax. The session was painful to say the least!The second time I came here, I got a different technician who did an excellent job of hair removal and tried to make it as painless as possible - but I think the type of wax they use here isnt a very comfortable kind. Not that getting waxed is supposed to be comfortable, but Ive been to other waxing salons that do an excellent job of both hair removal and painless execution.So all in all, branding and location are both A+, but the actual experience itself misses the mark.

Have been going to the Grandview site for about a year- started as a 5! I had a great aesthetician named Nina, who was doing a fabulous job with my brows. Because she was so great, I kept going back despite the major sensitivity reaction my skin was having to the wax. They offer no solution or alternative wax for sensitive skin. Nina has left, and the next time I came in a chunk of my eyebrow was peeled off. I let it grow in, and came back thinking it was just one bad aesthetician. I also had a brow pack I paid for and wanted to finish. This next time, a different aesthetician (sweet girl) finished my brows asymmetrically. That combined with the major redness of my skin after with no alternative wax will stop me from coming back and finishing my brow pack.

I wish I still lived in Columbus because this was my go to spot for my wax needs. The entire staff was amazing at making waxing as painless as possible but also they perfected the 15 minute brazilian. I will never go to a place that takes longer than 15 minutes for a brazilian.

The girl at the front desk with the badly drawn on eyebrows was so rude to me and the other girls that wax. she was rude to other clients checking out while i was waiting to be seen and was doing her hair and makeup at the front desk while there were people up front. my friend and i saw madi and megan and they were amazing and made the experience so great and comfortable, but the front desk girl ruined the beggining of this already uncomfortable experience. will not be coming back if she is working there.

I’ve gone to the location in Gahanna before but today was my first time at the Dublin location. Let me just start off by saying that my eyebrows mean A LOT to me and I’m super picky about them. I like a thick and dark brow, they have been a work in progress for a while (growing them in) and i feel like nobody (not even close friends) has gotten them just right.... that changed today. I put my trust into Mylesha and she got them perfect. I couldn’t believe they were my eyebrows. She listened to what I liked and what I wanted and she delivered. She was super cute and personable. Everyone there was friendly, the environment is clean and the girls there are all knowledgeable of the products and make recommendations. I’m very happy with my visit and I will be back to see Mylesha next time!

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE! The service was nice and the people were great, but i CONTRACTED A VIRUS FROM THIS PLACE. I got a Brazilian wax and my thighs waxed, and within 2 weeks i had bumps that wouldnt go away. I thought maybe my hair follicles were just irritated, so i kept them clean and left them alone. after ONE MONTH the bumps still wouldnt go away. I had to go to a gynecologist and I was diagnosed with MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM!!!!! It has been 4 months since I visited this place, and I still have this SKIN VIRUS ON MY GENITALS!!!!! I called to speak to a manager but all they did was take my information, and our manager might call you back soon. I have heard nothing from this place. I am absolutely disgusted with this virus, and it looks like it isnt going away any time soon either.

This was my first time waxing anything besides my eyebrows and I ended up with the worst results. The people were nice and the place is clean but thats where it stops. I had several places waxed but the issue areas Im upset about are my chest, stomach and down below. I literally just got home from the place and I have stubble from where the hair was just broken but not pulled out. I dont mean just a few places here and there, I mean all over. Its like they just used a razor and not wax. I dont know how painful it should or shouldnt be, as this was my first time, but it was awful. Thats how they should torture the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. The price was also ridiculous as well. I will NOT be back!

Ive been going here for a few years and I am really not satisfied with the new changes. My last appointment wax was not done well at all. It was rushed and painful. They also raised the prices and started making me give credit card info in advance. Overall just feel like they became like every other fast wax place that doesnt care about quality and just wants you out ASAP.
