Love this place! Wonderful people and classes that make you feel amazing. Look no further for a plan to reach your personal fitness goals. When I fall off the wagon they touch base with me and motivate me to get back in. Tell them I referred you!
This is a fantastic gym. Ive been a member at others around the country and this one stands out for its quality and the results I am getting. Ive been at Go Fitness for a year and am training with Alex. I am impressed with the level of knowledge he and all the staff have. Beautiful renovated space, new equipment, innovative approaches, and a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Couldnt be happier.
Really happy I joined this gym. Great atmosphere and unique equipment/machines you wouldnt find at other gyms. Ive been training with my trainer, Alex, for a little over a month and Im really happy with the results Im already seeing. Definitely recommend their gym and training services.
This is an awesome gym, everyone is welcome here, the coaches, and are knowledgeable and very friendly. I have been working with a for just over a year and Ive lost 116lbs. If you have been thinking about joining s gym This is the gym to join! Make the investment in yourself you deserve
I love the gym. The equipment is unique and fun to use. The coaches, the staffing, and the other members are fun to be around.
Just joined and it’s beautiful on the inside and everyone seems very nice so far! Excited to see what classes are like!
If youre serious about getting in shape this a great place.
Staff was awesome, classes were fun!
Awful gym with overweight personal trainers and overpriced memberships
I have been going to GO Fitness at the Grandview Location for about 2 years now, and I have never gone to a gym that I have loved as much as this one. They call you by name when you come in, they know when you have signed up for a class and hold you accountable if you haven’t been in for a few days. They PUSH you to the best of your ability and congratulate you on the little wins as well as the big wins. Their trainers are the nicest people and are very knowledgeable. They help you with your form first so you can learn to lift heavier. The variety of classes that they offer every day, all day, are the reason that I look forward to going to the gym. I feel comfortable and welcomed when I go here and have made many friends in my classes. I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone looking for a similar experience!
I have been going to Go:Fitness for 7 years. I absolutely love it!!!! It’s super clean, the trainers and classes are awesome!!!! They take their time to help with form and really push you to do your best!!!
Great Fitness Gym. Awesome staff and great coaches. Truly care about your personal well being. Highly recommended!
I wanted to like this gym so much but its honestly just really bad. Equipment is extremely dated, 30+ years old. Gym members regularly leave weights just laying around. It also just has a really weird vibe, which it seems like several other reviewers have pointed out. I recommend you try out one of the other gyms in the area instead.
Terrific trainers who are more interested in helping me to meet my goals than separating me from my money. Sound and safe training techniques aimed at long term results. I have been going there for 5 years and continue to love it. Dont come here if you want a showcase window to show off.
Not for serious lifters. Has a planet fitness vibe but costs about 4x as much. This gym is for newbies or very casual lifters who could maybe make use of their classes or something
This is a great neighborhood gym for people serious about getting in shape but not an ideal spot for powerlifters, bodybuilders, and smart phone gazers.Who is this gym ideal for?+People who like group classes+People who like 1-on-1 training+People focused on building fitness and losing fat
Great job on putting up this fitness center. Your trainers are highly knowledgeable and I can see their passion when it comes to helping clients achieve their fitness goals.
The energy at Go Fitness is like no other gym Ive been to. As a former big box gym employee I was unaware of the community that developes at a small gym! The front desk staff knows my name, the owners and trainers email words of encouragement if they havent seen you recently, and the other members and trainers are welcoming and quick to answer a question if you have one. To top it off Ive lost 50lbs in the past year after years of trying to lose weight! Go fitness will provide you with a recipe for success, the only thing you need is a good attitude and a willingness to try!
I have been a memeber for 2 years now. In my experience I have found the location and staff on King Ave to be great. This is also the first gym I have been to that has different types of equipment to use. For free! They have rubber bands, medicine balls up to 200+ pounds, a sled push, a sledge hammer and a tractor tire, and even an open area where you can complete a P90x or similar workout if you like.I wouldn’t calll myself a beginner, but I also do not know everything about the muscular system. Another benefit is that once a month I get to have a free personal training session. I tell the trainer what I am looking for and he or she puts me through a great workout.Just like any other great gym, the trainers and management team are passionate about helping you meet your goals. I have always found the Go Fitness team to be courteous, and are NOT just trying to sell me a training package...
Won’t allow cancellation of a yearly contract unless you move 25 miles away. For perspective, if you live near their location in Grandview, you’d have to move to Delaware or Marysville in order to cancel. Westerville? Nope. Still have to keep your membership. Dublin? Nope. London? Nope. They trap you in annual agreements, don’t recommend. Terrible customer service and predatory contracts.
Ive been a member for about a year now. The staff is very friendly and the membership is really reasonably priced. There is also an option to go month-to-month without a year long contract. I really like it.
Its the best gym ever
My experience? Terrible. The manager was very phony and unpleasant to talk to. I think her name was Sherry. Horrible. Tries to act friendly but really just talking at me about all these things I can pay for. Music was obnoxious as well and the air flow seemed bad.
Great local gym. Never too busy. Excellent trainers and a solid, functional fitness based training ethos.
Wonderful gym, great trainers, convenient location. If you want to show off and advertise spandex go somewhere else. This gym is not a showplace, except if you want to train with good equipment, with of without the guidance of good trainers. I like the trainers and I like their philosophy. When I broke an ankle several years ago they suspended my membership and would not let me return without a note from my doctor saying it was safe for me to train again. They worked in coordination with my physical therapist to make sure no one was causing problems. The therapist cancelled her treatment several months early because she was so happy with the work done by Go Fitness. Ive been going there for 7 years and plan to continue as long as I am able.
My experience with Go Fitness has been amazing. From the trainers, the owners & the desk workers everyone has been a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Go to everyone in the Grandview/Upper Arlington area.
Gym looks like its the set of a bad 70s adult video. Smells like one too
Small gym. Fills up quick. Annoying front desk staff. Will hassle you on your 10-day trial: wont let you workout if you dont bring your paper or ID. Equipment is primarily upper body. Not even a calf machine in this place. Do not recommend this gym to bodybuilders, or anyone participating in physique competition. Mostly non-athlete, chicken-leg clientele looking to stay in shape through personal training. Very little space to zone out and crush a workout. Weird vibes all around.
I have been a member at GoFitness for almost two years. In that time, the GoFitness staff has helped me get back into exercising and reshape my body. They are all very friendly and helpful, and the classes they offer are both fun and challenging.
A joke of a gym. Everything is like 50 years old, including the gym manager who will try to forcefully sell you stuff.
A smaller gym with friendly people of all fitness levels.
Small neighborhood gym that gets extremely crowded during peak hours. Previous reviewer who mentioned weird vibes all around was spot-on. I dont mss the monthly solicitation phone calls from the various trainers. I havent been a member for years and I still get annoying emails from them.
THIS IS A REPOST FROM MY OTHER REVIEW AT THEIR OTHER GYM - --WORST GYM EVER!!!! I was doing some of the workouts one of their personal trainers showed me how to do one day and a worker came over and yelled at me for being too obnoxious ...WHAT THE HECK!?!? YOUR COACH SHOWED ME TO DO THIS!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
Honestly a really run down gym! It just looks so old and the air feels...stale? Idk def not a gym for me!!!
The lady at the front desk was very sweet...but i am an older woman at 67 and i just wanted to sign up for a gym and instead was hounded and talked at for a half hour very unpleasant experience
Run down and smells bad
Smelly and old
