The folks that work here have always been good to me. They explain everything. Let me see the old parts. They were very patient with all the questions I had. I would highly recommend them. Work was done in a timely manner.

My car was running loud and shaking, so I took it to get checked out by the team at Tom and Jerry’s. They found the problem with my exhaust, and rather than having me replace the entire exhaust system, they referred me to a nearby muffler shop that could do a custom repair that would be able to do it sooner and save me money. I respect their willingness to put their own financial interests aside and help customers find the best solution for their needs. Would highly recommend!

My daughter recommended Tom & Jerry’s as she also was impressed with her experience there. As an old guy I had run down all the checks on two issues I was having with my elderly Honda Civic: I had checked fuses and relays on both an A/C problem and a starting no-go. They replaced the fuel pump at a very reasonable $, and where other shops had proposed upselling an ac compressor replacement/ they did a ac clutch shim repair, saving me big $s. I’ll definitely return !

The staff treated me so well and had great communication. They were able to get my car in for new brakes and rotors the same day, and had everything done in less than 24 hours. Not only was I impressed with the service, the price was extremely fair. I will never use another auto repair shop, Tom and Jerrry’s has my business from here on out! Having a daughter at OSU and being two States away can be challenging. Especially when her vehicle starts having issues. Its like having your vehicle break down while on vacation. Youre at the mercy of the closest shop. I read the reviews on Tom and Jerrys and decided I could ignore the one star reviews. They came across as a typical Karen complaint.When my daughter texted me the estimate my own inner Karen started coming out. Given our lack of options I gave her the go ahead. Im glad I did. She just picked up her jeep today, but says it is running perfect and the AC is cold. Hopefully it stays that way.The final invoice came out $30 less than the estimate I thought was for only one of the repairs needed. I purposely didnt contact the shop myself knowing it can be very confusing for them. I assume my daughter misunderstood what was included in the estimate. The invoice includes detailed notes on the original inspection/customer statement and the repairs completed. I would definitely recommend Tom and Jerrys. If the original estimate freaks you out, ask them for the details. Every thing I was charged for was very reasonably priced. They even corrected an issue that I was not charged for. Im guessing a vacuum hose or three were the cause.Im very pleased, but keeping my fingers crossed the 2003 Jeep liberty holds out a while longer.Thank you Tom and Jerry

I brought my car in on 12/18/20 because it was running rough and the check engine light was blinking. They told me I needed an ignition control module and coil replacement, which is what I suspected, but they said it would cost either $550 or $750 depending on the quality of parts I wanted! I initially said yes because I had plans to drive long distance and therefore needed my car fixed quick, but upon some quick research I realized how fast and easy this fix was.I called them that Monday to say I no longer wanted to go through with the repairs. I picked my car up and purchased the parts myself which cost a total of $215. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to do the repair myself and I already had the tools for the repair (literally only needed three different sized sockets). The actual repair itself took me less than 25 minutes!!! Keep in mind, I only know basic car maintenance and do not have much experience in mechanics. I understand that when you take your car in for repairs, you are not only paying for labor but also convenience, however, $335+ for 15 minutes of labor on top of a $130 diagnostic fee is ridiculous.I don’t know if they treat all of their customers this way, or just young women they think they can make a quick buck on, but I certainly won’t be returning. I won’t even get into the condescending attitude I experienced when they talked to me. Charging $550 - $750 on top of a $130 diagnostic fee for a fix which only required $215 worth of parts and was so quick and easy that a complete laymen could fix in 25 minutes is embarrassing and honestly disrespectful to their customers. Especially in a time where many people are struggling to get by in a pandemic. All in all, I saved myself $335 doing the repairs myself. The only thing I regret is not completing the diagnosis by myself as well because, again, it would have taken them only 15 minutes tops and I could have taken my car to AutoZone for a code reading and came back with the same results for free instead $130.

The crew was honest and responsive for the things to be done. By far the best experience in Columbus. Do not hesitate to trust them your car.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgable about an issue I had with my car battery. They explained the problem and solution to me in great detail and it was fixed very quickly at a reasonable price. Overall very satisfied customer. I will return to Tom and Jerrys if my car has issues in the future!

Came in with a flat tire. They checked it out and ended up being a bad tire valve. They fixed it up and it was less expensive than I originally thought it was going to be. Great people and highly recommend.

Great service, helpful and friendly staff, good prices as well. The best part was the digital inspection they sent, with a detailed overview of any problems or things that should or could be fixed. It included pictures of the issues, the level of severity, and their recommendations. It was very transparent and helpful! A personal and upfront experience which was greatly appreciated.

I gave 5 stars, the people that work here seem like decent folk. In terms of price and service, not sure how to relate - don’t have that much experience. That said, for my 25 year old truck, replacing a water pump costs $1000 and replacing a crank shaft seal costs $560 here.Edit: I took off a star bc after both repairs, a day or two after, something went wrong with the truck. First time a coolant tube leaked (after having the water pump replaced), the second time bolts were missing from radiator fan enclosure (seal replacement).

I came here with a couple of issues with my car. They employees here were very polite and clear about what was wrong with my car, even providing pictures of the issues themselves. They gave me detailed estimates about how much everything would cost to repair and were very helpful.

Tom & Jerry’s provides an electronic report of all the work done to your vehicle, including images of what they worked on and information about the part of the various parts of your car. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The transparency of their work is what makes them a 10/10!

I had a great experience with Tom and Jerrys! I was able to drop off my car when we agreed and pick it up before they closed. I took my car to them because the mechanic shop I was normally going to didnt hear the issue I heard. I brought them here to Tom and Jerrys and turns out it was my breaks - dont want those to fail on you. I was happy with the communication, service and price. It was incredibly great value for the work.Definitely will be returning for more work to be done in the future.

I know my way around cars, but definitely needed help this time discovering the problem. Their full inspection helped me map out a gameplan for fixing up my old used Honda Fit. Very thankful for how upfront they were with their estimates, and for sure will be returning for them to fix the issues I cannot!They also were incredibly kind when I came to pick up my vehicle. Wonderful business!UPDATE 1/22/2021I recently visited and was slightly disappointed in comparison to my last visit. I was concerned that there may have been an issue with the wiring on my vehicle because both front headlights had gone out. I took it in to get looked at, and It turned out just to be the bulbs. Instead of calling me, they went ahead and replaced the bulbs charging me $106 for a quick repair I can do on my own for $20 or less.Overall still a great company, but would want more honesty and clarity in the future as I would have asked them not to replace the bulbs.

My car was making a very concerning creaking noise from the front suspension. Took it into another mechanic first because it was closer to where I live, and they told me the lower front control arms needed to be replaced. They told me it would cost $1200. I’m not a car expert by any means, but just by doing some research on my own, I knew that this was an outrageous price for this service. The parts themselves cost like $200, meaning that they were going to charge me $1000 for labor. I called Tom and Jerry’s next because they were also relatively close. They were very professional and kind, and they fixed my car for half the price as what the other mechanic quoted me, and it has been working great. I have since moved, but I will be using Tom and Jerry’s as my go to mechanic as long as I live in this city. Highly recommend.

I have a very fickle Cadillac CTS my husband and I call Gurdie. Gurdie decided to go into limp mode while trudging through lovely Ohio weather. Service stabilitrak and abs lights came on. Luckily, it was a quick fix and had my car back within a day. Great guys and not there to price gouge either. Thank you for the excellent service!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. THESE PEOPLE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.Taking my car to Tom and Jerry’s Auto was the WORST financial and automotive mistake I have ever made. I lost $3200 and was left with what is essentially a totaled vehicle.I took my car in for car an engine repair and within 24 days I had a CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. They offered a 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty which they did not honor, they did not take responsibility for their actions, I was mislead, and they did not offer any solutions for the misdiagnosis and shoddy repair work that they did.When I brought my car back they did not give me a reason for the engine failure but insisted it was not their fault. I took my car off their lot because I was afraid of whatever stunt they would pull next. I was also promised a call from the mechanic who oversaw my repair and I haven’t heard from them in over a month.I can not stress this enough - these people can not be trusted. They have caused me a great deal of distress and financial burden. They offered no solutions and blew me off.Save yourself the hassle. Do not go here.

They are the Chick-fil-A of service within the car industry. I have 6 cars and take them all to Tom and Jerrys and have for years. I used to piece out jobs to less expensive shops but I always end up coming back here for their service, value and honesty. Although I have no relation to Jerry I feel like he is my uncle. It is that level of service.

Jerry and his team are amazing! Always ready to help and go above and beyond. I was on a car accident, scared and didnt know what to do, called them and Jerry himself went, called the tow and waited with me until we got the car to his shop. He got everything fixed in just 2 days and on reasonable prices. They also make sure you understand what is happening with your car and why you need or do not need a service. Really recommended.

Had a battery that kept dying tried replacing the battery, had the alternator looked at these guys diagnosed the problem as a bad electrical seat switch and switched it out for a fair price. They were knowledgeable, professional, and I never felt like I was being ripped off. I usually hate car mechanic experiences but I will go back to them if I ever need anything.

Tom and Jerry are well known among my family and are always helpful and upfront about services and cost. They have fixed my old car a few times and were perfectly helpful to cut the cost by getting only the necessities when sinking a lot into it wasn’t worth the time. Jerry himself offered to teach me whatever I was struggling with in regards to upkeep! Doesn’t try to take advantage of people who don’t know cars!

They were super nice on the phone, and even though it took a few days to get them to see my car, it was all done in under 6 hours for less then everyone else was quoting me. Jerry was sweet and held open the shop a little longer so I could get my car. Even told me about an issue that another repair shop didnt fix after my car had been in an accident. And they fixed that as well for no additional cost. Will definitely go back there again when I need it.

Let me just start by saying, their customer service IS LIKE NO OTHER. I needed immediate attention because my tire had a nail in it and I’m new to the area and didn’t know where else to go! I called over 10 places and no one was helpful considering I needed to drive over 3 hours the next day! They took me in and got everything fixed in LESS than 30 minutes, they checked my entire car, not only my tires. They called me back to ensure I was satisfied! These people are incredible and their prices are so reasonable!

I got my brakes and rotors changed at a reasonable price and in a very short amount of time. I dropped off at 8am and had my car back at 11. Jerry is a character and fantastic part of experience. He gives you a free warranty on his work. I recommend over chain store.

Great guys and even better service. Ive been here a couple times, most recently for brake work, and dont have a single negative thing to say. They give it to you straight and Ive never been pressured to get service done to my car that wasnt needed-- the one time I took my car in to get something repaired they even told me that I didnt need it and it would be a waste.Theyre work is top-notch and their pricing is beyond fair. Ive recommend this shop to multiple people and will continue to do so.

I wanted them to quote me for a notorious engine repair. Once they found out what it was and knowing it would be back because the part has been known to be faulty in the past, they politely turned it down. They did take the time to explain everything to me, and suggested options to me. They will get my future business. Im just sorry but totally understand and dont blame them for not wanting to go down this road with me on the engine repair this time. Ill refer others to them as well.

My cars engine was billowing smoke when I would try tp start it, leading me on a search for a mechanic. Tom and Jerrys was very highly rated with some quality reviews attached. I sent it in on a Thursday and it was fixed by Friday, the next day. The price for the fix was appropriate, the service was tops, and the staff were above and beyond. I would highly recommend Tom and Jerrys to anybody who needs their car serviced.

I had my car towed here to assess a funny noise coming from the engine. From my first phone call to having my car fixed was just an incredible experience. So friendly, so helpful, so fast and so cheap. I had my car assessed, fixed, test driven and ready for collection all in one day. It turns out that the noise was coming from a bent bracket the they removed, bent back and then replaced and only charged me $65 total. Very reasonable and trustworthy people and I highly recommend.

Both he and the mechanic who works on my cars, George, are straightforward and helpful in answering my questions. The prices for parts and labor are good, and Kevin explains what each part of the total cost is, whether materials or labor. When I was considering buying my current car, I brought it in and George and I took it for a test drive. Then George did checked all the items on their used car review sheet to look for any problems. After he said the car looked to be in good shape, and explained all the things he found, I felt more confident in buying the car.I found Tom and Jerrys by recommendation and theyve been one of the best mechanic shops Ive used.

Tom and Jerry’s is the most reliable auto shop I’ve ever had service from. One thing you get from working with Tom and Jerry’s is that they never upsell a service or anything. They will specifically say what is wrong and I’ve actually had them tell me that a minor service doesn’t really need to be done. This isn’t something that a shop that tries to wring as much money from customers would ever do.I’ve never seen advertisements from Tom and Jerry’s and honestly, they don’t need it because people find out about their quality work through reviews and word of mouth. I won’t be going to another shop as long as I’m in Columbus.

Had my car brought to Tom and Jerrys twice now. The first time for a battery replacement and now a loose exhaust. Ran into a communication issue (I dropped it off after hours over the weekend and probably should have checked in with them sooner) but as soon as I called they were able to have it ready in just a few hours. Things happen - the mark of a good business to me isnt a perfect record but quickly responding to mistakes and miscommunications. Always very friendly staff who explain things in an easy to understand manner. Despite coming in with relatively simple problems I never feel talked down to or silly for bringing it in! I will continue to use them in the future.

When my mechanic that I had used for years moved out of town, I needed some brake work for my business car. I called and spoke directly with Jerry, the owner. They got me right in and diagnosed the break issue right away, but also found another problem that if not repaired could ruin the engine! The repairs were finished quickly, and the price was very fair for what was done. They also found some little issues that could wait and told me so. The people at Tom and Jerrys were great to work with and I will be coming back whenever I need my car repaired!!

They are the most honest and fair priced mechanics there are around. I went in with a battery that kept dying, a burnt smell coming out of my heater, and a screeching noise from my engine. I thought it would cost more than a thousand to fix. They found it was a $10 part and replaced it fast. Do not go to a backyard or craigslist mechanic. My friends tell me only horror stories. Tom and Jerrys is the only place I would ever consider. Ive been taking my cars to them for 15 years and my parents have taken them there for longer than that. They have always been 100% honest, and inexpensive considering the quality of service rendered. They warranty all of their work as well.
