My husband took his car to this shop and dropped it off on a Monday afternoon before close with the complaint of the engine running loudly. The shop called the next day to say it was the starter (loose parts in it) and the battery . Our vehicle started and ran when it was delivered to them. After the suggested repairs had been conducted the vehicle did not and the shop does not know why. Our vehicle was in operable conditions prior to their services. We were never present with paper or electronic copies of estimates or what they had claimed to have done to it. We drove by a few times during the weeks it was with them and it was snow covered the times we were told the shop was looking at it. JD was the professional answering our calls the majority of this process and was not forthcoming with information or reliable with communicating when he said he would. There is a violationMy family has had multiple repairs done by this shop on other occasions with no complaints and great service. I do not know what has changed with them in recent time. As Kathy has been a great owner to work with in previous appointments.

I will never return to this business. They told us they could look at the car on Monday and then after diagnosing the issue, pushed us off until Wednesday when they told us the part they needed never arrived. On Thursday when the part arrived it was the wrong one and on Friday evening when I finally picked it up it was $150 more than they quoted. When I expressed my frustration, they refused to take responsibility or even stick with their original quote. So frustrating!

Very honest. Took my car there for diagnosis. I was not in a hurry. They kept it for several days looking for why my auto had no pick up and go. Knowing that I like working on my own an auto, they gave me a list of issues. Because they didnt fix anything at that time, they didnt even charge me for the diagnosis.I was shocked! What honesty! While they are a little farther for me, I will certainly be bringing my autos to them in the future. So hard to find a honest repair shop. Once you do, they are worth their wait in gold.

Johns automotive got me in quickly and investigated the issue determining that I did not need a new engine. They fixed my car the same day and it has been running great. Found this place due to my truck breaking down. I went to 3 other places and was turned away. I googled closest Service near me and came here. Let me tell you, it was a Godsend. Kathy was awesome. She took a look at it and told me they were busy, which I expected. They had it on the lift and fixed by the evening. I was very impressed with the customer service and the prices. I live an hour outside of Columbus but will be bringing all vehicles here now. I highly recommend.

The lady was so nice. They were fast and $500 for a new axel seemed legit. Then my wheel fell off on 71 not 5 minutes after leaving the lot. My car is totaled and my leg is broken.

I took my car in to get a tie rod replaced and a new alternator. I was convinced that my car needed a new alternator, but was pleasantly surprised when the shop called and reported that it was just a minor fix to the battery terminal, and not a broken alternator. My car was fixed the same day, and the price was very fair. Kathy, who managed the front desk, was so kind and provided a wonderful customer experience for me. I was impressed by the service and by the honesty, and plan to return whenever I need to get my cars serviced.

Highly recommend for Jeep owners, these guys love Jeeps and are very knowledgeable. Same day service when others in the are were at least a day out for service. Fair pricing and no costly diagnostic fee like the big chain shops. Highly recommend and will continue to return in the future.

I called about my AC not working and Kathy got me in quickly. After their assessment, they quoted me a reasonable price. (I made a couple calls after hearing the issue to find out.) When I mentioned a sound from under the car, she agreed to look over it and called me with her recommendation. She presented it well and gave me options. We took our other car with AC troubles and they fixed it quickly too. Kathy informed me along the way. I had my struts done at Johns Auto. They neglected to re-install the dust boots on the front struts. When I asked them to re-install the struts with the required dust boots, they charged me an additional $100. They said this was because I didnt ask them to re-install them (??). When I picked my car up it rattled and banged so much it was un-driveable. They had the car 3 different times for a total of 4 days before they figured it out. Now, I discover they also neglected to re-install the required bump stops. Total fail! I would suggest to anyone thinking of using these idiots to think again.

Johns Auto is not the cheapest repair shop but we have fpind it extremely economical to know that what needs to be fixed gets fixed, and we were given the option on parts with some remaining likfe in them. For items like brakes, Johns will estimate the remaining miles of wear and write that on the bill for later reference.
