I have lived at Wake Robin for the last 5 years. I have never had an issue that was not dealt with quickly and professionally. The area is quiet. We have never had a problem with crime, aside from my car being broken into every time I forget and leave it unlocked, but that is a problem everywhere. People are always going to find something to complain about. There are a lot of long term residents living here. We wouldnt still be here if it was a terrible place to live. The current management team really tries and are very nice and helpful. I have no complaints.

Initially I was apprehensive about renting here after seeing the poor reviews, but Im glad I took a chance on this complex! Kelita especially was incredibly kind and patient with my million questions in the beginning. After I moved in I did have a few maintenance issues, and though tickets through the app seems to give slower responses, when my air conditioner broke I called the office and they had someone out within an hour to fix that, the original ticket I submitted in the app, AND a few issues I had only noted on the move in condition sheet and never even made a ticket for! So far Im really enjoying it here and management is superb, I highly recommend!

Almost one year living here, would not recommend. Administrations doesnt responde properly to maintance requirements and the receptionist is always in a bad mood, whenever I just go for some simple questions.

I wonder how people still blind and still interested moving here, living conditions here is so bad, no maintenance, no customer service, no respect for the tenants. We put work order for long time no AC and weather is 90 degree per day. Kelita howkins she’s horrible liar and behave like it’s here personal home she has no respect for me or other people live there. They says rent is $890 but we pay around $1200. Living homeless shelters is better than living wake robin apartments.

I just moved in two weeks ago and I’m already regretting moving here. The appliances were dirty and disgusting but we managed to clean them. The kitchen cabinets paint were literally falling down. We had like 7 things on our move-in inspection that needed to be repaired(still nothing done) we also noticed a leak from the ceiling and the maintenance guy left a hole and never came back. I came from work and noticed that the basement window was broken and went to the office to inform them that this is a safety issue and I swear the lady who I think might be the landlord didn’t even seem to care. I can already see it’s going to be one hell of a year, but I’m documenting everything and I’ll just have to get my Lawyer involved if things don’t improve.

I signed my renewal contracts couple of months ago and they told me they will change the stove burners and the sink tube, because it will break every three weeks. I just asked them to change it and they refused, right now I dont have stove burners, my kitchen sink is leaking, and dishwasher isnt working properly. They have a horrible customer service and their maintenance doesnt fix anything. anyone whos looking for apartment I dont recommend.

I’ve lived at this place for 4 years and when I moved out on July 20th I was charged for replacing the carpet, cleaning and trash removal. I asked the supervisor of maintenance about the carpet and he said that since I was there longer than 3 years they would replace the carpet. Mind you I cleaned the apartment and trash was disposed of. I’ve been calling and sending emails with no response since August 1st when I seen the charges. I would not move here or recommend moving here. If they don’t respond by the end of the month I will seek legal action.

Am resident at this apartment, their maintenance Is so bad, I asked them two weeks ago to fix an stuck sink in my kitchen. I can’t wait until my lease would expire. It is expensive and poor service.

The worst place you will want to consider. Not even an option for a temporary stay. Trash disposal is hell! - Only a single dumpster for the entire facility? Unbelievable!!! Depending on which unit you live in, you may have to trek for over 5mins just dispose of your trash and worst thing residents pay for this. Leasing Office is always closed unannounced almost everyday. Bad luck if you try calling the office cos no one will ever answer the phone. I opted for e-bill to avoid their so called $6.05 admin billing fee but these guys still sent me a paper bill and charged me for it. I commend the assistant manager for her friendliness and willingness to help but it is the combined effort of the entire management that had ruined this business. I was so warmly attended to until I became a resident; I regret it. So much ills to recount about this place ... Its a shame

Lived there for 4 years and it was a nightmare everyday. Landlord could constantly change, trash was always stacked along the walk way to the dumpster so when you went outside it’d smell like hot trash, there were ALWAYS communication issues with the landlord (never answered the phone or returned calls) and just an awful environment. Save your self the the heartache and avoid this place at all costs!

There has been black mode in our apartment for 3 months, causing sickness from living around it. We put in the work order for it to be fixed right when we recognized it. They never fixed it so we withheld our rent until it would be fixed. On the day of our eviction notice for not paying rent until the mold was fixed, they put a band-aid on it and literally just bleached it, leaving bleach dripping from the ceiling when we got back, so they could say they did something because we threatened with legal action. The mold was still there, just covered in bleach. It will keep growing unless the wall/ceiling is re done.Management here is terrible and unwilling to work with you at all. This place is breaking the law every day by not fixing what absolutely needs to be fixed in order for the tenants to have healthy and safe living conditions. If you care about your health for you and or your kids, DO NOT LIVE HERE. I repeat, DO NOT LIVE HERE. It quite literally could be the death of you.

Nice and clean apartment, but many car break ins. I was just walking in the Mockingbird Ct road and I saw 3-4 cars with back windows broken. I dont feel safe living in this apartment and parking my car here.Edit: we would appreciate it if you guys installed lights in each parking lot because many cars are broken into in this apartment. Recently my car was broken into but luckily I didn’t leave any valuable stuff inside.Edit: Thank you for your cooperation. Although some lights dont work, they are good enough to provide light for our cars.

I am a current resident I have lived here for 10 months now...when we got here the apartment was dirt and not up to par...NOTHING has been fixed from the walk through paper in the 10 months we have been here ...every other month there is a new office person who dont know what they are doing and font know what we are talking about ...thier maintenance throws out work orders after 90 days (out of maintenance own mouth) so if the dont come fix it withing 3 months u belong have a work order put in and ur issue is gone with the wind ...DONT DO IT

I have one bedroom. The trash everywhere with a nasty smell, there is water in front of our building more than three months no one care to check it or whats going on in that area. The wood of my balcony was moving and not paint, they said to me check in and will take care later than they changed the idea and saids: it is an old place we can do it. When I request for leak water more than three weeks after I feel so angry because i could not use the bathroom they came. The water bills since I check in $70-100 every month even if I am out of the town, I went to the office to check it with them after two weeks they sent email to check out and find another place without saying the reason.

Do not make the mistake of living here. They will SCAM YOU!!! Any good review on here is a lie. Every bad review is something I have experienced myself in just 4 months of living at Wake Robin. I submitted my move out letter with only 30 days notice on a 4 month lease and they were trying to charge me for another month. When I moved out, they purposely didnt give me a copy of the change of address document they had me fill out, had a tenant move in to my apartment during the month they were trying to charge me rent for, did not return my security deposit, and then sent me to collection for $120 AFTER I CALLED AND LEFT VOICEMAIL MESSAGES FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT trying to figure out when I would receive my security deposit AND NONE OF MY CALLS WERE RETURNED! They gave the collection company the address IN THEIR COMPLEX that I had moved from and the wrong phone number so I could not be reached and didnt find out until September 2017 because I was looking at my credit report on BankRate. Save yourself the hassle. The apartments are absolutely trash. Living in this place is my biggest regret. They do not care about the tenant and all they want to do is take your money however they can. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Great cleanup after leaves and snow, but the office never sends repairing people. I have went to the leasing office and told them 4 times already that my stoves and the smoke detector needs to be fixed but they still hasn’t sent anyone to repair them. I went today too and they said they will send someone to fix it but they still haven’t arrived. Horrible repair and mantainence.

Its been so terrible here. I have many stories from the rent fluctuating depending on how much they want to assess for bug fees, trash and gas. You do not get the opportunity to pay your own gas. The trash is always overfilled and pouring over the sides-major health violation and an eyesore and just gross. They enter your home without giving the required 24 hr notice-usually more like a 12 hr notice. They constantly threaten fees for items, yet my neighbors dont allow me peace due to their bass and the other neighbors drum set. This is a townhome, shared walls. This community does not care about you. Every appliance has broke. Very old. They towed my car from right in front of my home. It is worth paying a bit more to be at peace somewhere else. I did contact Monarch Investments the owners to see if i could get some resolution. One of the Managers responded and suggested we get together and talk. I thought that was redeeming. But then she refused to get together when i was off work after 5pm. She said She gets off at 5 too?? If you are attempting to resolve an issue with a customer or hear them out would you not attempt to accomodate their work schedule?? I will move somewhere else very soon when my lease is up and gratefully spend more money.

I completely agree with heather. Since new management it has gone way down hill. I had to double check the rent amount each month because on multiple occasions we were told to pay a certain amount and then got a letter on our door saying we had a balance to pay. Since then I have had to add it up myself and ask for a print out of our ledger every time. We just moved out and would not recommend this apartment complex if the management does not change or improve policies. The laundry facilities were broken for at least 3 months, and there is no communication with residents. When the laundry facilities were finally fixed, I only knew that it was open after I called to complain that our toilet was not fixed for 2 weeks after we had put in the work order. When they did fix it, I could not even be sure because they didnt leave a note telling me that they entered the apartment and what they fixed! They then informed me that the laundry room was fixed but I had to come get another key. Their excuse was that the company that we rent the washers from was responsible for fixing it and they were not doing it in a timely manner but honestly if they are taking that long...it is time for the apartment complex to find another company because of how much it is affecting the residents! Most of the staff is very unprofessional and rude. The staff that was watching the pool area (once it was filled in and turned into a water splash area) were smoking in the area and had a beer cooler next to them! I finally was able to talk to the new site manager and she was very helpful and professional, but if you dont talk to her then ...good luck. The assistant manager even accused me of lying about the work order. The area is also going down hill and there were multiple car break ins in the parking lot. The management was not doing much to make the residents feel safer. Hopefully the new site manager can clean up the place but I would not recommend living her at all!

Please I repeat PLEASE don’t do it. It has been a living nightmare since I moved in and it gets no better as the days go on. Only thing good I can say about this apartment complex, property, and management is that thank God for 6 month leases. And please let the owner read this... if you think you’re going to do me like you’ve done the others in the past... you better be ready for war! Red ants throughout my apartment dish washer doesn’t work has nasty old water that was there before I moved in just sitting won’t drain out (ran it through the cycle before I moved in thinking it would drain and take care of itself) “new” dish washer doesn’t work. No heat for 2 weeks January and I work outside so coming home to the cold didn’t help at all. No one returns calls when you have an issue but you sure returned my calls when I applied and got the apartment! My apartment was completely rushed you can tell. Nasty un-clean. Dead bugs in the cabinet. Ants all along the bathroom too afraid to even fu*king unpack. There’s more, so much more! Haven’t even been here 30 days. Their maintenance is 3rd party as well as all other “solutions” for all issues are. Honestly they’re better off placing this complex with section 8, they haven’t already. I’ve never been so uncomfortable at HOME like I have here. And now youre charging for pest control for the ants when the problem clearly existed before move in due to now seeing dead ants mixed in the wall paints in different areas throughout the apartment. crawling from the holes in the tile walls in the shower and i havent even put anything in the restroom besides cleaning products to clean with. You all must not know business ethics, laws, or rules but thankfully I do.

This is the worst apartment complex ever. Everytime the maintenance people came they smelled like weed and couldnt fix anything if they tried. They charged my parents over 100 dollars to clean the floors and fridge after I moved out. Even though we scrubbed the entire apartment down with bleach. It was cleaner when i moved out than when i moved in. Also $40 for a drip pan that somehow was broken even though I used the oven twice. I kept that apartment clean for the 8 months I was there. The place wasnt dirty even before we cleaned the floors with bleach. Mindy hung up on my dad after someone in the background said just hang up. All my dad was trying to do is find out how my apartment was that messy. They never answer their phone, the 24 hour maintenance is a lie, and everytime I went to the rental office, they were always closed an hour before the actual closing time!

My mother has been in this property for over 10 years and has never missed a payment on her rent. She was just serve a notice to vacate the property after she complain of her neighbor having bed bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!! The property company that once was there has since move on. I do not recommend moving into this complex they are slow to repair anything and quick to get upset when you bring things to there attention. Save your family the hassle, you get what you pay for!

As I pack the last of my things I am only reminded of the horrors that Wake Robin has made me endure over the last two years. Pest control is a joke and this time when I was asked to leave for my past due balance (the day after the final date) I jumped on the opportunity to leave. We have caught 8 mice over the past 3 weeksn our maitenence requests have gone unanswered and a stream flows through our basement whenever it rains. When we got here this complex was very convenient for my life but the struggles of dealing with electrical issues plumbing issues rusty dishwashers and more have left me with little choice but to walk away. It will hopefully be better in the long run for me to be out living on the street than to spend another 1100 a month for this 3 bedroom townhome. Hope you are handy with tools because you will have to figure out the issues yourself or just live with the problems whole dishing our over a Grand a month. I love the neighbors, everyone minds their own business, but This management team is robbing the families of this community by leaving the common areas unkept. Dumpster and appliance piles are stacked and overflowing. Its just unfortunate. I know I will be hit with more fees for leaving the apartment in the condition I have but only having 3 days to leave and having little assistance has left me with few options. Best of luck to the residents and future management team I certainly hope the opportunities are learned here and someone comes along to make a positive impact on this community. The people paying to live here deserve a quality experience for the price they are paying.

I have lived here for about two years. about a year ago they came under new management and ever since things have just gone downhill. they treat people rude, and act like your questions are stupid. Now they are closing the pool down, which is the whole reason i moved here.update-- they keep telling me they are going to do or fix things and then dont. there is a heavy amount of ice on the steps which i have fallen on, and they tell me they are going to salt it and then they never do.

I am really disappointed with the way the office staff treated me. We had a problem with our front door on our apartment and the lock was removed and now the door doesnt lock and the day they did that in the morning we found a homeless sleeping on the hallway told the office and said its not a priority even our safety??????
