If you plan on moving here don’t expect anything to be fixed ever. They also refuse to take care of the property and amenities. They’ve let everything go and now for the 2nd year the pool will not be opened don’t expect them to fix either because nothing gets fixed. Along with amenities not being fixed, the buildings are falling apart and squirrels, birds, and bees have nests inside all the corners where there are openings these are simple fixes but in the last three years nothings been done and has just gotten worse.
I have had the privilege of living at The Ridge Apartments for the last 8 months. I have worked in the housing industry for many years, and the care and attention to detail that I have experienced here is rare to say the least. The few times I have contacted the office for maintenance items they have been addressed quickly and always to my satisfaction.Susan, the property manager, is the most kind and professional person Ive encountered in this industry. I appreciate the way she takes the time to explain anything I have asked her.The atmosphere is pleasant and the neighbors quiet and respectful. Since I have lived here there has been a continuous renovation of buildings and grounds, and is steadily improving the quality of living we experience here. Thanks to staff and maintenance for such an amazing job and making me feel so welcome!
Rent keeps going up and I’m not sure why the amenities we have are old as dirt, however that’s not really my issue. The issue I have is with management every since Susan has left the level of professionalism from the current manager Kim is far less superior, her level of customer service is below average and the way she speaks to people is unheard of. I’m not sure if they hired her to get rid of tenants if that’s the case she is doing a heck of a job. I will be looking for another place to live ASAP after being a resident for almost 4yrs. Trust and believe WORD of MOUTH goes a long way. Btw I’m in management and GOD forbid I have anyone like Kim working for my establishment.
Rent keeps going up. Apartment is old and run down. Staff is unprofessional and rude. There are better places to live besides here. place is falling apart. Inside and out. IF you cant breathe well dont move here. There is white particles in the air no matter how clean it comes back. The water is cloudy. Dont drink it. And your cat has to pay 15 a month to live here.
They never answer the phone in the office
I have lived at The Ridge for several years, and have always had an enjoyable experience. My neighbors are friendly, quiet, and hardworking. Management does not tolerate trouble-makers or party-ers.The buildings are older, but well maintained, and Ive always been treated in a professional manner by everyone who works there. Susan (the apartment manager) is always friendly and available if needed, and any Maintenance personnel that Ive dealt with over the years has always been friendly & professional.I recommend this to everyone who wants an enjoyable, quiet neighborhood surrounded by hard-working, friendly neighbors.
I lived at The Ridge of Taylor Station for a year and a half. What I initially liked was how peaceful the neighborhood was and the neighbors were friendly. However within my first year living here my apartment was invested with several mice. Property manager Susan idea of fixing the problem was putting down 2 paper mouse traps. I personally went out and bought mouse traps and killed 3 before demanding that something else be done. Eventually they boarded up the 2 holes located in the bathroom were the mice kept gaining access. Months later my apartment was invested by termites. When I informed property Manger Susan she informed me that she knew the vacant/abandoned apartment had them and she would send someone out. I immediately start looking for somewhere else to move to where management cares about the health and safety of their tenants. Finally I made the decision to move out but days before moving the entire apartment floods July 12, 2015. I called emergency maintenance and about 2 hours later a man arrives to inform me someone else will come shortly to extract the water from out of the apartment and not to leave. No one showed until the next morning which was property manager Susan and 2 crew workers. I ask Susan what was I supposed to do about all of my belonging being damaged and every piece of clothing soaked and she just asked me if I still had rental insurance. I informed her that I did not anymore as I was in the process of moving out and disconnecting everything. Susan just replied with saying maybe they would honor flood damage even though I cancel my plan and ask if anyone came by yet as we stood on my wet soaking carpet. I would not recommend anyone to stay here!
Mom lives here. Nice staff, cheap rent, units are a little run down. Worth looking into if your budget is around 500 a month.
Horrible apartment to live in. Felt like I was living in the hood. The maintenance is extreamly unprofessional. The pool is filthy and my feet were black after swimming. The apartment itself was extreamly old, dusty and ran down. Dirty cabinets as well. Very terrible and unprofessional experience for me.
Horrible manager. Kim has to go
Office lady is rude.
