Living at Grove Park has been a joy. The apartments are really nice and the maintenance department goes above and beyond for us. We absolutely love the assistant manager Loren. She is incredible. She is always there to help us with anything and she is so sweet and professional. Thank you so much for all you do!!
I have called multiple times on Friday for an air conditioning issue and today is Wednesday. After fussing i was able to get emergency maintenance to bring a window unit on Sunday night which cooled the apartment down. Once the apartment was cooled, i turned the main ac unit off. When they finally came out on Tuesday the apartment cooled down and they stated nothing was wrong with the ac. I advised Maria of what i did and expressed how much i hate being hot and still wanted something done about the ac. Nothing was done. On Wednesday the temperature started going back up and when i requested a window unit be brought out to me Ryan states company policy states nothing can be done since the temperature is not above 80 degrees even though i have a sweating child after talking to me as if i am his child. This company is to hell!! Would not recommend. I personally would rather sleep in my car at this point. I hate these apartments and the people that are operating them. Look forward to me moving out immediately! Attached is the exact temperature of contacting the emergency maintenance and receiving that information
I would recommend Grove Park Apartments. We love our apartment and haven’t had any issues since we moved here in 2019. Any maintenance issues we have had were all addressed quickly and efficiently. Great location !
When looking for places to get an apartment this past year, this was the only one that was quick responding to questions about touring the facility and apartment. The office staff are very attentive and professional and made sure all of my questions were asked prior to leaving. I was very impressed and would for sure consider this apartment again in the future!
Will not recommend. Over promise and under deliver. Worst maintenance. Good luck calling the office 10+ times a day for no answer just to get your call transferred to some call center to get your contact information but you wont get a callback. The most inefficient maintenance Ive dealt with . Spacious apartments tho if you dont care that every appliance and light switch or fixture is broken. Gated community like 15% of the times. I rarely ever see the gate closed no matter what time Im out. Management will defend incompetent employees rather than focus on solutions and come up with excuses. Keeping the hallway clean is a joke. If I didnt just move in after breaking my previous lease due to work and paying an arm and a leg along with moving expenses I would look somewhere else.
1/5 stars. Loren Alexander was my host and she was far beyond unprofessional. Did not seem to care if I signed a lease or not. Absolutely would not recommend to any of my friends. Horrible customer service.
If we had not found such a wonderful opportunity for home ownership, we wouldn’t ever leave. This is a wonderful community. Nice neighbors in a quiet and clean complex. We have enjoyed it for seven years, and as our moving time grows near, I am starting to miss it already.
I absolutely love this place and the amazing staff! They helped my friends and I find a place on short notice and were very patient and communicative with us. So far we have absolutely loved living here! Mrs. Christina in the front office is a true gem! If you’re looking for a great affordable place to stay I highly recommend it!
I was told an apartment was available that was not . I went home paid $65 application fee, submitted my pay stubs and was told that everything “Looks good”. I was then told that the apartment I applied for is not available. Gave me a later date for another apartment, I accepted . After calling multiple times I did not hear from anyone to continue the process . I finally got someone on the phone and was told that the later date apartment was not available . They offered me another apartment that I did not want .Be careful before paying an application fee . I spoke to Christina and Lauren, they refused to refund the application fee . Waste of my time and money !
I have lived in these apartments for almost 2 years! Unfortunately, we are moving to Texas and have to say goodbye.I must say that the staff here is wonderful!! They have always been so courteous and kind to us! They are super easy to talk to and anytime we needed something or had questions they were always eager to help! Shout out to the maintenance crew here as well!!! They would go into detail of what was wrong and how they fixed it. It gave us a peace of mind and always had sincere conversations with us! We never felt like tenants here we felt like family!Thanks Grove Park Apartment Staff!!!
I called the office to get info on applying and the lady who assisted was very helpful. (Ms. Lauren) I then applied and was denied due to things being on my credit. I explained that all collections were paid off. She stated that if I could show proof that she could see how that would help. Since being denied I have emailed and called multiple times and have not heard anything back. I was really looking forward to moving into this neighborhood but since I am not getting a response I think I should just move on. I am getting all the information needed but if I am not being assisted I may as well stop.
After applying online and paying the $65.00 app fee, the apartment I was told I could rent was given to someone else. I asked them to refund my app fee one hour after I paid it. No response. I instructed my bank to not pay. They agreed but then told me they could not help me and I would need to work it out with the vendor. I paid the $65.00 and then Grove Park charged me a $75.00 return check fee. They told me if I didnt pay the $75.00 fee, they would send me to collections. I went over to their office and paid the $75.00, they held my check for 9 days and sent me to collections anyway. Never notified me that they didnt process my check. Ipaid the collection agency today online but have not head back from them either. Very unethical people but its probably their management company at fault. They are Rangewater so stay away from any complexes they manage. Stay away from Grove Park, too.
Compared to my last 2 apartments in Columbus this is a five star resort. The staff was super friendly and helped me get moved in quickly. The apartment looks brand new, is clean and very spacious for a one bedroom. I hope to make this my long term residence if everything continues and smoothly as it has currently.*Side note never ever ever rent from Johnston Mill Lofts unless you want a laundry list of problems.
This is by far the best Apartment in Columbus GA.The apartment complex is very safe and super clean and tidy 24/7.I’ve lived here for a year now and have never experience any issues with maintenance, beside that the staffs are awesome most especially the Manager Miss Stacy will go above and beyond to help and make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Mr Noah is always ready to help at any point in time. The maintenance guys are wonderful, most especially the black guy very humble and hardworking.I will not hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to any of my friends.
Theres not a box at the back gate to enter in the code. You will have to drive all the way around to the front to enter.
We give Grove Park 4.5 stars. This is a nice quiet place in Columbus, GA. The amenities are nice, and they have a monthly flyer that gives events for the month. I do feel that the valet trash should be an option, and there was a little mold on the inside of the window. However, I loved the open floor plan and the nice scenery. The landscaping was outstanding as well. Overall, I enjoyed living here, and would recommend this apartment to others.
I love Grove Park! They sent me a cupcake for signing a lease a couple of years back. And once a month the ice cream truck comes and gives us free ice cream. And we have free valet trash service. I have always loved the staff. My husband and I have lived through quite a few apartment communities around the country and this by far is our favorite. We have a spacious apartment with a nice walking trail in our backyard. The only cons I can think of is the gates sometimes dont work and the gym is smaller, but its not bad. This apartment is way better than our previous complex, The Crossings.
I would definitely give this complex 0 stars if that was an option. I moved in on January 2nd and have already been discriminated against and harassed by management. We were told upon moving in that I could house my enclosed trailer by our unit, there is plenty of open parking, one of the upstairs neighbors complained and stated it was blocking the sidewalk, yet the sidewalk ended where it was. There are cars parked in the parking lot with flat tires, a motorcycle by a unit door and a boat that is blocking the sidewalk and has been blocking the sidewalk, yet nothing has been said, we have received several of their tickets and now a lease violation. This is definitely harassment and there is no sense in this kind of behavior. I will be going farther up the chain and probably even filing a lawsuit, due to the harassment, discrimination and their desire to make my comfort of living miserable, unfortunate for them, my girlfriend has legal background along with property management and this is not acceptable! They dont seem to be to concerned with the aggressive natured dog that resides upstairs either........
Rude and unprofessional staff.Rude residents.The property is not what it seems. The interior sucks! They allow drunk people at the pool in front of your kids. I have had two indirect rude comments said to me. My family and I keep to ourselves! The front office people ask other residents about us instead of coming or phoning us about the situation. They all go off of word of mouth. Its not a gated community either! Anyone can walk in. Good luck getting your air conditioning fixed in the summer time!
Military person here. I recommend this place to anyone who doesnt want to live too close to post, and enjoys living close to all the restaurants nearby. Only took me 15-20 minutes to get to post. There is also a CVS within 100 meters of the place along with a gas station and Marcos pizza, (which is an awesome pizza joint.)Its very spacious and management has always been kind to me. Its unfortunate that there are past reviews saying negative things about Vicki, she was very kind to me. Unfortunately she passed away. Surprisingly, management was still doing a great job the day after she passed. I got orders to move and they handled my notice of vacate very smoothly.Maintenance always helped me out whenever I had issues with our disposal or other small things. There was always a parking spot available for me and they have doggy bag dispenser and a disposal literally everywhere.They also have a park area for dogs to run freely. My dog loved it. It was a good way for neighbors to bring their dogs and have a little dog social.They also have an entertainment room, small gym, a little playground, a tennis court, tanning bed, and a computer room with all you can print printer. I didnt really utilize their amenities though. I strongly recommend this place. I wish they had one near Fort Carson.

Grove Park has very nice staff and super efficient maintenance. The area is absolutely perfect and idea if you are looking to move to North Columbus. The price of renting however is almost 3x a house and they don’t have the amenities that other apartments do. The gym is ok the computer room is ok. They have strict rules on the pool you can I have no more than two guest per appointment. I find this crazy since people are hardly even at the pool. I think if you want more bang for your bucks this is not the place.

Lived here only a few months, but they are always doing something with the apt community. They have given out dinner and also served breakfast! The apts are luxury and property is well kept.
I thoroughly enjoyed living at Grove Park for this past year. The apartment was simply BEAUTIFUL and HUGE! The only reason why Im not renewing my lease is because I started a new job in LaGrange and its more convenient for me to move instead of commute. Brittany and the other staff members are also very friendly. I would recommend this complex to anyone.The only thing that I didnt like was that the neighbors werent very friendly. It wouldve been nice to get to know the people living in our building. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I gave Grove Park Apartments 5 stars in 2012 on several sites, now its 2015 and they have drastically gone down hill. I honestly want to give them one star, however, I am waiting to see if they can bounce back from the poor management the last 3 years. So 2 stars for now which I will change, be it 1 or 3-5 depending on their future changes.Below is why I have given 2 stars.1. Gated community-in three years the gates collectively worked maybe two of the three.2. In regards to Gated community, constant solicitation. From salesmen to surveyors.3. The beautiful pool on their Facebook and main site was taken in 2011. In 2014 the pool was green 85% of the year and filtration was inoperable due to the sand (Salt water pools use it for filtering) not being changed in two years. Kind of disgusting when your 2 year old comes up with 5-6 different strands of hair on his face. We will see what the summer of 2015 will bring.4. Though gated, several openings within the community that lead to several break ins and vehicle thefts, camera systems only located at high traffic points (Mail boxes/pool area/front and back gates). Though they plan to add more, they have not as of this review.5. If you choose to have the ground floor as I and several others, the lawn maintenance crew will blow their grass cuttings onto your patio and leave. 2012-14 like clockwork we had to call the main office about this every week. If you enjoy sitting on your patio eating dinner or just hanging out with your friends or family be warned you will have to clean up after someone that youre actually paying (rent fees include the price of the lawn maintenance)6. Not enough room for the other 7 issues, and all minor. But, collectively they add up.
So far Ive been here for a month and its been AWESOME the staff is friendly and accommodating. there is clear and constant communication between the residents and the office. And I LOVE that my apartment is so quiet. I cant hear the other residents. I just moved here from living in a single family house for the last 8 years and was worried about having neighbors, not just for them but for myself. And its been wonderful. The trash pick up service is on POINT, always on time and keeps the hallways clean. The office/leasing staff always has a smile on their faces, even when they are hot and sweaty from serving their residents out at the pool. I really LoVE this place so far!!I also want to add I moved her from out of state, had only 1 weekend to visit and chose a place. Lauren was BEYOND helpful and welcoming. ultimately her constant smile, positive attitude, knowledge of the surrounding area and the beautiful property won me over. I now know I made the right decision. I was very worried about 1. being so far away from my home state and 2. just not knowing the area. but he team here has made my transition seamless. I did a LOT of research and saw 11 properties the day Grove Park was my last stop. I revisited the next day Lauren was happy to re-show me the property and I knew then this was the right place.
I was one of the earliest residents to live here. I watched this place fall apart right before my eyes. Caulking around the shower was leaking, mold around the windows. It got so bad, that after repeated complaints that went ignored by the management (2010 time frame) I finally got JAG involved. While the corporation did JUST enough make them (and me) go away, they only delayed the inevitable. No amount of money could get me to move back here. Oh, and the gate has never worked. This isnt some new issue like the current management told one other reviewerNow, Im not saying that the current management hasnt fixed the issues, its just that I doubt they have. These buildings were just built like crap

MIND YOU I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY EMAILS FROM THEM UNTIL TODAY ALTHOUGH AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH I SAW WHERE THET EMAILED ME. 3RD NOTICESO I CALLED AND THE LADY THAT ANSWERED READ IN THE NOTES CHARGE OFF. YOU SENT THE THIRD NOTICE AT 3AM. ITS 356 PM. THIS IS WHY I HAVENT SEEN THE NOTICES BECAUSE THEY SEND THEM AT 3AM. I HAVE A 750 CREDIT SCORE. ONE THING I DO IS PAY MY BILLS. I AM NOW A HOME OWNER AND HAPPY! I THINK SHE IS GOING TO ATTEMPT TO PUT THIS ON MY CREDIT. STACY FEELING ARE STILL HURT BECAUSE I DIDNT NOT STAND FOR HER DISREPECT. SHE DISRESPECTED THE RIGHT ONE ON THAT DAY. THEY TELL ME TO CALL HALEY AT CORPORATE I HAVE CALLED LEFT A MESSAGE AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM HALEY. NOW THEY ARE HAVING ME CALL HALEY TOMORROW. Great place to live i love my new home
Dont move here. i would have a better review if Vicki wasnt the MANager.. Shes VERY rude, nothing gets done in a timely manner, ive had to deal with lizards coming into my home, different species of spiders in my home, snakes outside my patio and once i called to make a complaint, Vicki says theres nothing to be done. maybe you can send your grounds men to come seal up cracks that surrounds the doors and window seals, ive had to deal with mold around my windows with a premature baby, and she says use bleach instead of sending someone out to access the problem and maybe to figure out where the mold is coming from. The walls are thin, you can hear everything that goes on in other peoples apartments. you have nosey neighbors, cars have been stolen as well as my husbands motorcycle. its a gated community and NONE of the cameras work! during the summer, Vicki was always calling security on kids playing around in the pool, which is what its for. i loved living in the apartment, but the rent isnt worth it nor is having to deal with Vickis b.s is worth the hassel. speaking to other employees there, they cant stand that lady. ive made complaints about Vicki in the past and Woodruff just needs to fire the lady.
