I’ve been living here over 3 years now first I appreciate the help when I’m low. But can the be any professional at all, rude is a understatement if they behind on there job it your problem. To get them to return a call or even come out to front desk to talk to you. I was trying to move called for 3 months left messages. Not to just one person 3 not one person called me back. Went into the office the property manager would not come to talk to me. But was happy to tell me if I don’t send them money within 30 days they send my account to fabco. Not to mention I was coming to make a arrangements. But most of all so after the 3 months of calling no response. I get a call from the property manager saying I put down a deposit. And wanted to get me my money when we already know why she called. Why can’t they do there job instead of sitting in the back talking having a good time. Just pure wrong

The whole unit is infested with mice I call over and over even left voicemails the damn pest control even told me CPO don’t care bout these places or people being infested with roaches and mice. I’ve had to buy my own bait and traps. My son has a hole in his wall he watched a mice come out of it. In the past 4 days I have caught 15 mice!!! This is trifling and unacceptable!!!! My next step is Attorneys General Office! I also have my lawyer! They willl be hearing from us!

Yes at the beginning it was a hustle applying for CPO but thats really expected if its dealing with the government right? I filed bankruptcy and CPO gave me a brand new house and an opportunity to buy in the future, Im very pleased with the maintenance team, the office and my case manager (Whitney) she is always in a postive mood and willing to help. Cpo has so many behind-the-scenes programs to help if needed. I live in an upcoming neighborhood so me and my children do things like go and pick up trash in the neighborhood and next thing you know that my other neighbors are out picking up trash tremendously through prayer right before my eyes the few months I lived here things have changed already thank you CPO for an opportunity for a great home!

Ive lived at one of the properties for almost 5 years now, the first year I lived here they were amazing with keeping up on scheduled maintenance with the property and now there are several items within the dwelling that need to be fixed and they are aware of. House got broken into it took almost 6 months for me to get new glass for my window and its almost 2yrs now that I am waiting on the screen for the window, garbage disposal went out almost 2 yrs ago and still waiting, light & ventilation hood over the range stopped working and thats going on a year now. This establishment wants you to pay your rent on time but never wants to come fix wants wrong with there properties. I would never recommend them to anyone looking for housing because they are not up to pare with taking care of there existing residents. Zero stars for me & the only reason I put 1 star is because it wouldnt let me post without putting one.

Charges me rent when I was unemployed... now having me owe so many Back pays and doing so many payment arrangements constantly calling to speak to a property manger nobody ever answers or call back and mice infested apartments

Ive lived here roughly for 3 years now, had maybe 3 or 4 different property managers and this last one is the worst. She doesnt answer her phone or respond to voicemails. Ive been trying to get an answer this whole month and still nothing, all I want to do is ask about transferring and cant speak to anyone else but her. This is the worst and at this point I wouldnt recommend anybody move in unless youre in dire need to do so. Staff is attentive from your first encounter to almost a year after youre in then it declines like they dont care anymore. Ive been told by other residents who has been trying to transfer about not being able to transfer because theres no apartments ready or all waitlist are closed but the website has maybe 5 apartments with waitlist open and can do transfers for those who are in horrible situations as myself and need moved asap. Theyll only do something when the property is damaged beyond repair and then youre the one held accountable when in reality youve been trying to talk to someone before it was damaged. I cant fault everyone but the ones that are supposed to actually help lack in that department severely. I only hope in my situation Im able to get moved before anything gets worse. But seeing I cant get in touch with the one person to help isnt giving me any hope at all. Also, my property manager should really hold what she says when Ive called multiple times over the last 2-3 weeks and received nothing but says shell call back in 24-48 hrs, Ill be wrong to break my lease to move since ASHAWNTE WINSTON isnt doing her job to help her residents. If you cant do the job please dont take it because now your residents are now in limbo with no help or answers.Edit: the only way to be seen inside the office is by appointment, Ive come twice way before closing times to turn in my lease and a payment owed (which I should have received a stamp from them on the receipt so i have proof of payment) and the door was locked and people inside just watched me from the inside. If we cant talk to anyone how can we make appointments to come in to do anything? They have an apartment I want to transfer to and can pick up applications for on Tuesdays and drop off on Tuesdays but cant get in to receive one on that day or return it. And I wear a mask faithfully so that isnt the issue.

I am looking for a nice single family home for my children and I. I don’t have any evictions and no background. I just want to move from where I’m at now because I hate this neighborhood, not safe for my kids! I heard about CPO and I ask if you could give me a chance with one of your properties? At this moment I dont, hope in the near future I can help someone else like myself I am 57 disabled, newly divorce no kids need housing willing to try cpo housing but in this crisis dont know what the next step to take. Its hard in Ohio to get housing if you dont have kids and how can you get help paying rent (not enough income Im disabled and alone willing in someone living room need help fast.please spread my statement.

Been waiting since I was pregnant with my son and thats now been 8 years smh. Thank god Ive been found somewhere for myself, my mother is currently an occupant in one of their housing units shes been waiting about 7 years to be moved where theres no steps (doctor ordered) and still nothing. Many slips and falls and trips to the hospital and still nothing, just had to call the City on them to get years old repairs fixed. They take advantage of the fact its low income.

I went to the property(George’s Creek) to apply. I understand there’s a pandemic going on and we were using social distancing we assumed she was doing the same. When I went and asked is it possible that they work with evictions ‘s that are so many years old. The lady told me no because the whole process will be flagged even if one person has one And the other doesn’t. I told her I did not know that that is not what homeport told me. Homeport told me as long as I was not a felon that they could be lenient as long as I had a good rental history. Before closing the door there was a lady behind us that she motion to come in as we just stood outside and had to talk to her.When I said oh I did not know that but thank you for the information as she was closing the door she went on to laugh like we were a joke to even ask her questions.She was very discourteous and showed that she did not want to help us. Apparently we weren’t important enough and were a bother.

I understand that there is a pandemic going on, but i had applied for an apartment in late march early april. I applied to the single family housing. I understand the office is closed and yall dont have access remotely. I never received a letter saying i was approved or denied. I havent received anything. Ive been living in a hotel for too long and bouncing from there and no where else...shelter is packed. I had left so many messages and was told i would get a call when the leasing agent has access again. I work in the industry as a community manager so i understand...trust i do. I dont understand why i STILL havent gotten a call about my application...not to mention i dont even know if yall will or still have any single family homes available. This is frustrating!

I am a professional videographer. CPO hired me for a contract job earlier this year. The experience was outstanding! They are such a close-knit team and they care deeply about their cause. They are dedicated to helping their community and especially the children. They made me feel like part of the team from the very start and I felt as if I belonged. I was so impressed with passion and compassion in all that they do. I highly recommend working with CPO!

I applied for CPO in March and they were handing me the keys by the end of July. We love our home. The staff has always been professional and welcoming to me and my family. Maintenance is cool i ask lots of questions and they have no problem explaining things to me especially the DOs and Donts. Im going on my second year so far so good. Oh and if you have a disabled or a senior citizen relative I highly recommend CPO. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Was threatened and had gun put to daughter and Is head the first month there. They did nothing!!!!! Ive had my paper work lost at least twice and had to re-sign numerous papers. Also causing me to loose everything my kids had for Christmas due to the fact it was loss and was told verification I had turned in 4 months ago was not in. Residential services help with nothing. Thats if they even return your calls. Its 4 of us in a 2 bedroom and Ive been told I will not be moved.

Hello I applied in January an form the beginning I got the run around I never received a letter saying If I was accepted or not so I went back into the office and told them so she printed me out a latter that was in March so I’ve been on the waiting list since January an didn’t even know now I’m just waiting an I’m in school full time an work full time an take care of my daughter full time all I need is housing can you please help how long will I have to wait

I’ve had a bad experience and when I lived there for almost 2 years, Maintence left my back door open and got my tv stolen and Christmas tree (crazy) I filed a report, it took them almost until March to get some type of money back. However I feel like the maintenance people steal out your house when no one is there. I’ve had two pair of shoes stolen from me & when I tried to file a report again the manager would not help me. I’ve had complaints that it smells like mold in my home, I still couldn’t get someone to come and do a check.

Have Been in Georges Creek apt manage by CPO 3 1/2 years. I think this property takes advantage of the fact these families are low income! This place has so many repairs/upgrades. Some people here ave the same flooring, cabinets, appliances since the were first built and management was told to not spspe more money to do repairs. I have a rotten sink giving off knats, they say is not an emergency, cabinets falling off, parents dont watch they kids, rental office doesnt take action, resident shootings and the household still remains there, park is not safe for the kids! The mulch is shredded tire and wood chips. Annual pest control may say they spray but my cameras show, THEY NEVER ENTERED! Bad electric!!!! Rent has went up 3 times in 2019, 4 in just thae whole year, AND THIS IS JUST SOME......OF MY EXPERIEXPERIENCES! peoples ceilings are falling refrigerators dont work, AIR IS EXPENSIVE OR DONT WORK! so electric bills are ridiculously high with south central power! They think you dont know your rights, and then when challenged they threaten to give you notice to leave as retaliation. I urge you to record all conversation and keep all documents with this complex OR CHOOSE TO JUST NOT BE BOTHERED! ANY RESIDENT WILL CONFIRM IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO A RIDE THRU! Horrible. This was the worst experience I ever had in life. Going to court with them about charges I never knew of. Receptionist RUDE!.Obye the property manger rude, he never answered the phone. He even had a full voice mail at a point of time. They are LIARS and they are not here for the people at all. NO STARS but I have to choose one.(Response back to the owner)I understand rules and regulations, but there is a way you communicate with your tenants before the big bomb is dropped. There was no communications and I am loving my new place on the nice north side!! CPO put people and their kids in homes, where gun shots go off every night. I will never recommend this to anyone. I know its not your fault, but maybe CPO need to hire more caring people for families in need of help!

I dont like too write bad review, so her it is I went to apply for for housing I like what I saw when I went in the place was very clean and neat >>> So I apply for for a single family unit fill out there paper work and give them their $30.00 application fee and waited for a response .. And it came back all wrong . I have never been evicted or late with my rent . I contact the company that did the report they look my inform and had up date their records (AMRENT ) So I check with my credit bur there was nothing wrong on my report ..So I call back back to C.P O AND WAS TOLD THAT I I HAD WEEKS TO APPEAL .. Well did you know how long it toke to a report back for those places .I live way out and I dont have car and have to ask people for rides to there . I you need the $30.00 that and thought they were the business to help people ...

I have called maintenance a few times due to no working heat and I havent heard from anyone yet. I have emailed and called the property manager and no response, so I guess we have to sleep in a house with no heat again. Very unprofessional company. I have tried to file a compliant but of course you get transferred to a voicemail and no one calls back.

Office messed up and didnt have me sign a paper. Then when i couldnt get a ride tjere to sign in time i get put to market rent instead of them mailing it out or dropping it off during one of the 4 inspections weve had in a month. Guess im suppose to walk miles in the snow with a 2 year old to correct their mistake so we wont be homeless again. Dealing with trying to maintain and get back on my feet and mu mental health its just a lot when its not being explained why the papers if so important cant be mailed out or wasnt mailed out. I let them know when i could make it and was told it had 2 be done before that. After hanging up theu then called mu emergency contact and told my bussiness. If it wasnt cold and i had my babies id leave now. But guess ill just pack and pray. $1400 for a 2 bedroom thats 2 small for the 4 of us anyways smh

I have been with CPO for a while now I have had a few issues but later were resolved in a positive way.I would recommend CPO to anyone looking to better their lifes and have a safe and friendly environment for their families.

Horrible experience ... The leasing agent I spoke with was very discourteous, I put in for a house, I was told it was first come first serve basis. The house I put Im for they sent me a letter saying I was denied because it was already rented, but the house never left the website or the updated list you can pick up from the office. I mentioned it to the leasing agent and she told me it had just went back on the market. I know for a fact that was erroneous because, I was there everyday picking up a list due to having to be out of my house by Aug 1st, the house never left the list. I would recommend leasing or renting from a private landlord if possible. The loathe I experienced was egregious, which astonished me because I am one of the kindest people you will ever meet. CPO has helped a friend of mine out tremendously and kudos to them for that, but my experience with them has not been a pleasant one at all.

Never had one problem with CPO management, They got me and my family in a place quicker than anybody in this City. As an ex -felon of my estate they are a community of second chances and gave me and my family a place to stay in tough times.4 out of 5 stars for me . Very desperate and looking for a place for my family. Applied and was told my mother had a felony and I had a eviction. Neither was true went to all the avenues to find out prior to even applying here and my mother works for the school district which doesnt allow any kind of marks on you record. So went back to CPO and they realized that my mother didnt have anything on her records but said i still had a eviction. Did more research and contacted Beacon Hill another crappy place for paper work to show I did not have a eviction. After almost 3-4 days of either leaving my job early or coming in late with proof that I did not have a eviction I just said screw it. This is a journey God is going to help me with not this place. No star for you.

I though this was a great place until I got a 3 day notice for non payment of rent but they didnt realize I pay my rent early as I do ever month so never pay your rent early they well try to put you out for paying a week early 😡

They dont care about nothing but getting there money I have not even move in my unit or moved my thing in its is roaches infected they are everywhere there tell me they cant even move me into a other place. Saying there getting it treated dont believe it.

Im pretty sure me and my family have been living with mold for years came to CPO and asked for mold testing lay month no response it sure seems to me they dont care about the tenants Im in the hospital now been having seizures going on three years my kids are always sick and because Im low income I guess we dont deserve a voice all I know is day one that I moved I reported water damage its practically ruined everything in my daughters room and they want to offer me stuff from maps come on now really I need help they are going to give me the run around until I get proof I guess smh I want to talk to the president of the company to let her or him know just how Chad Ketler Kelly Miller and the rest of them are representing CPO and treating the residents and lets not talk about how everytime you call the office you never get to talk to a real person or if you manage to get through they are short with you and really cant seem to help either my next step is to contact 6 on your side Ive already been burnt by a lawyer who seemed to be scared to take them on but Im not I will have justice for my family bottom line and if mold is the reason we are all sick words cant express what I might do but I will not let them sweep this under the rug any longer and if I get put out this is the reason why because as long as Ive been a tenant Ive compiled with everything.....

Worst experience renting ever!

Been living with mold for God knows how long! We are doing an emergency move today! My 7 year old woke up today throwing up and the manager Allison was not helpful she suggested I talk to the rental office about my questions and call Homeport who handles after school programs and community resources about my mold poisoning concerns..!!.. I need someone who has authority to tell me something!!!

Whenever I need to talk to a specific person they never answer the phone. They obviously dont listen to voicemail because I dont get callbacks.

Still on a waiting list how long will it take I been on there since August
