Back in July 2016, we needed a new electric furnace and heat pump system installed in our home. Cardinal Heating & Cooling had been maintaining our prior system for the last few years so we had Matt do the install of the new system. He gave us a proposal with many options and price points. We picked what worked best for us and the install went smoothly. It has been almost 5 years and we are still very happy with the system. It has met all our expectations. We recommend Matt and Cardinal Heating & Cooling.

We had our AC stop working overnight and called Cardinal the following morning. They sent someone over that same day to implement a quick fix that carried us through the weekend, then came back the following week to do more extensive repairs. The technician (Matt) offered us a variety of possible solutions and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each. I would hire Cardinal for any future repairs and would recommend them to others.

Excellent service. I knew what the problem was(bad capacitor) but could not get a replacement unit in a timely fashion. Matt from Cardinal came out the same day and replaced the failed capacitor unit. He knew what the problem was. Reviewed my system since it is 21 years old. System still running good and additional services not needed at this time.

Cardinal Heating and cooling installed a Lennox system (furnace and heat pump) in 2010. Have had absolutely no issues with the unit. Needed some minor service recently. Called for an appointment and had service /repair the very next day. Took 30 min to identify and resolve the problem which turned out to be more of a user error than an equipment issue. We arrived home Friday evening to discover our a/c was out. I called Cardinal the next morning and they got us scheduled for same-day service. The part needed to repair was available and installed quickly. Although our unit is old there was no up-sell pressure but we got good advice on when we might consider replacing it and and ballpark estimate. We have an older air conditioner unit that had a slow leak. Matt installed a freon leak stop in our unit, and it is working perfectly now. He did not need to add additional R-22 Freon the last 2 Spring check ups.I would highly recommend Cardinal Heating and Cooling.

Unfortunately over Memorial Day weekend our AC unit went out. I called Matt out of the blue and within 24 hours he was able to come out to the house. During this time, he was very professional and informative. We ended up replacing our AC unit and he was very helpful throughout the buying process. He was able to then install the unit 48 hours later, making the process seamless from soup to nuts. The installation was top notch and on budget with what was quoted. Cardinal Heating and Cooling a team to trust with honest estimates and repairs. Matt does excellent work and explains what he is doing at all times. Had Cardinal do the AC check for the summer. Called early to get on the schedule because I noticed the outside unit fan was not running. Instead of telling me I needed a fan that cost $500 Matt replaced the capacitor, and for a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend them.

Matt is amazing! We have an older furnace that other companies told us we HAD to replace, and didnt even attempt to fix. Matt worked us in to his busy schedule, and was able to get it back up and running within an hour. Didnt give us the run around or try and upsell a new furnace, super honest and truly looking out for the customer. We will only be using Cardinal moving forward for our heating and cooling needs!

Had an appointment that they obviously didnt want to take due to where my house is. They set me up an appointment anyway, they called when I was on the phone and I called them right back at two different numbers, but they didnt answer, then when I did get a hold of them, told me they had moved on to another call after 5 minutes and couldnt get to me for at least 2 weeks. Never dealt with such unprofessional people. If you dont want the job say so at first dont leave in the cold for 5 days and then make up some lame excuse. Complete unprofessionals.

Called Matt at 8 am during the hottest week weve had in several summers and he was here an hour and a half later. Simple $50 part and he had it diagnosed and fixed and was gone 20 minutes later. Weve had him out a few times over the last 8 years. The first of which, Atlas Butler told us wed need a whole new furnace, called Matt for a second opinion and it was a simple inexpensive fix. That was 5 years ago. 10/10 would highly recommend!

This is the second time weve had Matt come fix our AC unit. My husband likes him because he hasnt pushed us into just buying a new HVAC just because ours is old but he is still really honest about the condition of our old AC unit. This time, Matt added a part to help our AC start up better, replaced a different part, and cleaned the unit. He was very informative, friendly, timely, and well priced.

Cardinal Heating & Cooling was the 4th heating & cooling company to come to our home to assess the situation with our non-working heat pump, The first 3 recommended replacing the unit which ranged in price from $4700 to $7500. One company did say it might be able to be fixed, but would cost roughly $1000 to $1400.Cardinal Heating and Cooling was at our home for about 30 minutes checking the unit and running various tests. The gentleman recommended at this time to go with a repair that included a $25 part and a minimal labor cost. The unit is working fine now! When we do need to purchase a replacement unit, we will definitely use Cardinal Heating & Cooling! A great company with integrity!

I called Cardinal Heating and Cooling on Mothers Day in the evening and left a message about my air conditioner not working. I received a call back very quickly and an appointment was made for Monday between 9 and 10 a.m. They showed up at around 9 and found three problems which were fixed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I recommend this company and give them an excellent rating.

If you are looking for a honest diagnosis of your HVAC system Cardinal is that company. Twice we have had him out both times he gave us options and understanding about our concerns. This is the second time I have used Cardinal Heating and Air Conditioning for my furnace over the last 6 years. Matt is always there right away. Very reasonably price and always very descriptive about every stage of the work he is doing. He is very informational on service recommendations in the future. I would never think of calling anyone else for my heat and A/C needs.
