Had a positive sales experience with Josh in the bid for windows through out our home.Professional, positive presentation and he covered details about pre-installation next spring.Couldnt believe the quoted cost and couldnt turn it down!

First of all we got our sales pitch and bought the windows for the whole house waited a couple of months for them to be manufactured and when they came out to install them they were all wrong none of them fit and when I called up the manager he told me what the f you want me to do about it .well what I want you to do is bring me what I purchased .Right now its 0 to 1 stars after waiting 2 months.Remeaured again,waited month to make and time to install,wrong again .3 measurements wrong size windows and damage I will upgrade this to a 5-star if they can make it better but right now its looking pretty bad.9/29 now they say end of Oct.sure isnt 4 weeks,so far now 10 weeksWill update and change if they come through.Oct,14Update came out after the third measurement to do and install after waiting another two months for the windows to be remade they made them incorrect with incorrect measurements again have to measure again and now well be waiting two more months I was told somebody needs to learn to read a tape measure mind you now this is the fourth measurement so well have to see if they can get it rightJust for clarification The salesman sold me the product .measured and someone came back in three days to measure again . product came in wrong sent out someone to measure again product came in wrong sent out somebody to measure againSo I started this venture in May thinking Id have nice new windows for the summer months however here it is going towards the end of October and we still dont have the windows in my front window is butchered in just to close the hole up.. disgustingUpdate November 5th now just over here refresher theyve measured four times brought out the first windows were too small the second side of windows were too large we are down waiting and they tell me they will be in the end of November the beginning of December and I order these in MayUPDATE. NOV 20. Claim windows will be in DecUPDATE.Nov 25 windows in, maybe install in a couple of weeks.will up date if they are correct.UPDATE December 3rd. Came back again for the third time to install Windows and again.WRONG SIZE. 6 measurements,3 times windows were made wrong.Worst experience we have ever had.Lot at all reviews, evidently its not the first complaint against Columbia store.Even contacted CORP. Twice I called and never got a return call.Go local. Not Window world

The customer service ended the moment the salesman left our house.We were told it would be 6-8 weeks for our 21 windows and 1 door to be constructed and delivered. Around 8 weeks, we began calling weekly to get an estimate (just a ballpark) of when our installation would take place. We needed to trim bushes and take down window fixtures and rearrange furniture so the work could be done. 4 times, we were told, “I don’t see an estimate on your order. I will talk to a manager and call you back.” We received 0 calls back. Until - surprise! 12 weeks after our order was placed, the windows were in and they said they’d be at our house in 2 days to install. Our salesman assured us that if the appointment time provided doesn’t work, to say something. In addition to not having adequate time to prepare our yard/home, I am also working for home and was set to give a presentation to over 100 people virtually during one of the days of our appointment. With all this in mind, I asked if our installation could be moved back 1 week. The best they could do was move it back 1 day - which barely bought more time to prepare and still conflicted with my at-home presentation. I (admittedly) threw a fit and asked to be put on the first available list. Miraculously, not 10 minutes later, I got a call back saying they could move our installation to the next week.We were told it would be a 2 day project. On day 1, the installation crew didn’t show up until 3pm with little communication notifying us they’d be late. Very little was accomplished before they left around 5pm. Day 2, they arrived around 10am and got a lot done, but needed a third day to finish up. Day 3, the crew arrived around noon and worked past 7:30pm, but didn’t have the right materials to finish. Day 4, the crew again arrived around noon and worked into the night but still didn’t finish. Each day, we were assured “We’ll finish tomorrow” and “We’ll be back in the morning” which consistently proved to be false. On day 5, no one even bothered to show up. On day 6, I was finally able to get a crew out to finish and was happy to see them go. After expressing all my frustrations to anyone who would listen, I was able to get about 10% of our cost knocked off our bill.Honestly - they did a good job. But the hassle of getting to the finish line was not worth it. Will never contact for future projects. Will never suggest to friends.

We bought our house in Columbia Mo, and had Window World replace all the windows. They have been great! Air tight and easy to clean. Last week one of the windows was broken by a rock, thrown by the mower. We called Window World to buy a replacement. When the estimator came out he said these look like our windows and I said yes we had you install the whole house 17 years ago. He reminded me that they have a lifetime replacement. He took the measurement and left. The next day he came back and installed the replacement and thanked me for buying from them.... no charge!! Excellent!! Thank you Window World! I really needed the win this month! You are the best!!

Ordered windows. Said they would send someone to remeasure ask a second verification and that never happened. Already in production with measurements from the sales guy. Months waiting period at this point.Finally got my windows! Install went smooth and the service was great!

Had a bid done, was around $5,000 cheaper than lowes for a better selection of windows, very thorough on explaining the difference in windows, what would be best for the region we live in, highly recommend

Their response time from the first phone call to inquire about windows to installation was very quick and the quality of the window is great as well. Installation of six large windows was completed in one day with no mess for me to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for replacement windows.

The installation guys were very courteous and knowledgeable. A small crack was discovered by the foreman and he immediately brought it to my attention and assured me that he would order a new one right away. All in all I have nothing but positive words for Window World. My new windows are already showing me that it was money well spent. 5 stars!

Just got 7 windows installed! I am thrilled! 3 were very large. I am so impressed with Window Worlds service. Only took a little over a day to install them all and they hauled the old ones away. Great customer service from the salesman to the installers.

The salesperson that initially stopped by to give the estimate was very thorough. Ill admit I was a little apprehensive since I had 2 other estimates that were 100% and almost 300% higher. The 300% higher one only included labor and no windows.The windows were delivered within a few weeks, shorter time frame than initially given. A few of the windows had to be reordered since they werent the right size but they corrected the problem quickly so I wont deduct any stars.I wondered how well replacement windows were going to look. The inside looked good. The outside looked great after they did the finishing work. It exceeded my expectations. The windows were vinyl double hung and are a big improvement over what we had before. I did not compare with other windows since the price was in my budget. Im very happy I called Window World and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

Very pleased with Window World. We were happy with our consultation with Tom, he is the reason we decided to go with Window World for new windows. Our windows look amazing and the guys who put them in were very thorough in their work. They were dedicated to making sure each window was sealed properly, etc. We will never go to another place to purchase windows in the years to come.

They took a long time to finish their job, much longer than promised when paying the deposit. The front window was mis-measured so that took a few extra weeks, there was one window with a scratch on the inside of it (between the two glasses), they only sent one guy to complete 15 windows by himself, etc. The inside seal isnt perfect around each window, and the smell from the silicone was very strong. But you cannot feel any wind through them whatsoever. The manager is nice and working with us because of their mistakes though. And the windows look absolutely wonderful!

I paid exactly what I was quoted, no surprises. I didnt feel like I was being sold something I didnt need or want. I had 2 really old basement windows replaced (they were probably 40+ years old). The new windows function great and the work space was left in the same condition prior to installation. Plus, the warranty cannot be beat. It can be hard reviewing a company when third parties are involved because they can mess things up and the company looks bad. This was our experience. We ordered windows and siding from Window World. The siding was delivered first, but it was dropped off to a house down the street (told they were a third party). Didnt know until my the owner contacted me asking if I was expecting a delivery of siding. I had to contact WW to have it moved. The delivery company was supposed to contact me to let me know they were coming out. I could have possibly prevented the mishap if they had. A few days later a double install crew showed up and got the entire house done in a day. I surprised my wife by taking her to the final walk thru to review the work. The first words out of her mouth were its not the right siding! Although it was the right color they installed Dutch lap rather than clapboard. The order was checked and indeed said clapboard. Someone made yet another mistake and they made the wrong version for our order. Another call with the company to try and fix this problem. They offered us money to lube with the mistake but my wife was set on clapboard so they came back out about a month later and pulled it off and put on the correct siding. They made everything right but obviously didnt want to eat the cost and there was a sense of wanting to push back on us.The windows were all filled except for four large ones that went in a particular room. I had removed all the smaller windows ahead of time so they could get exact measurements of the openings, but these four windows were too large to remove so far ahead of installation so they measured as is. When it came time to install they turned out to be like 2 too small one direction and 2.5 to small the other direction for the openings. They had to take boards I had on site to shim the opening. They kept saying that they didnt know what was behind the window trim to make an exact measurement but they never asked to remove the trim to find out. And since I removed the windows myself, to save money (which they agreed to), they tried to blame me for removing it incorrectly. How can you remove a window down to the studs incorrectly? They said they would not reorder the windows. Out of the numerous problems this is the only one which I didnt like the outcome.There was also a person I dealt with on the phone on multiple occasions who always seemed to be in a bad mood and on the verge of being rude.

I recieved estimates from several window companies and was surprised that Window World was the lowest price because of their amazing warranty. (The others only had a 1 year warranty.) The installation went smoothly and everyone was always courteous. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I am in love with my new windows! I would recommend this company again and again.

From start to finish, Window World was a pleasure to work with. The gentleman who came to give us a quote was very thoughrough and knowledgeable. I love that we were given a quote on the spot, and it was very reasonable. The installers were fast and did great quality work, even in the frigid cold. We have only had our new windows for a day, but we are very pleased!

The windows we ordered from Window World are definitely an awesome upgrade! The salesman Russel walked us through the process with ease. Only took about 4 weeks to get them made and they were installed the next week, even on the worst day to have to deal with the weather. The install crew was here early in the morning and stayed all day through wind and rain and got the job completely done. Ryan and Will were awesome!! So far on the hottest day, I believe 89 degrees, the air conditioner has only ran about 13 minutes to keep the house at a cool 76 degrees. Prices were very reasonable and at a high quality level as far as we can tell. My brother in law is a contractor and even liked how the windows turned out. Thanks Window World!!

I cant say enough about the three guys that install my windows last week. They installed 19 windows in one day. They didnt leave a mess. They were so polite and friendly couldnt ask for better guys.Thank you guys for a wonderful job.

It took 6+ weeks for one window to come in, and when installation day finally rolled around, the window was too large. Was told by the installer it would be another 3 weeks before he could come back and install the proper sized window. I called Window World immediately after hearing that, and they were able to get another window installed the same day by a different installer. The reason for the two stars is for the metal work around the window that happened the day after the window installation. There are obvious gaps in the seams and the caulking was extremely messy. He was not the most pleasant of folks to deal with either, pouring on excuse after excuse about the events that transpired the day before.UPDATE: Metal work was redone, but still not to my expectations, and was told that if I needed any more windows installed that they have 6 more of these same in stock. Really????I was also asked to update my Google review. Its updated - went from 2 stars to 1 star!

My entire experience purchasing new windows for my lake house was GREAT. Tom came and measured the existing screens and showed me what could be done. After deciding to go forward with the purchase, I simply called him to make payment and set up a time to have them installed. The office staff was also very helpful with my requests and setting up the payments and installation. The workmen did a wonderful job, making this a seamless reasonably priced upgrade to my home. Installation and the Installers were great to work with, the windows exceeded my expectations. The installers were completely respectful and took the time to explain how to use the different types of windows. The installers were adamant about keeping a clean work area and cleaned up after their installation was complete.

The door install seemed to go smoothly and so far I am happy with the product. However, the front door was not completed (the step in clearly should have a support underneath it) and cleanup around that door was also not completed. Obviously, we can go purchase wood and create the support and we can also clean up the debris, but given the price of the doors I would not have expected to have to do so.

The windows are fantastic! My home is much warmer and much quieter! I live in a very busy part of Lake Of The Ozarks, lots of road noise! Got my windows installed on Wednesday and its was getting dark that evening and didnt finished trimming couple windows and inside work. I had the rest of the week off and had been waiting for him to call me back to let me know when hes coming back to finished it. The last guy that did 3 of my windows, he came back the very next day to finished it. If I am paying this much for my new windows... I expect 300 dollars off my bill.... its Saturday and just past 530 pm and still has not show up …Saturday 7 45 pm... not has not showed up .. he called said he would come by tonight since he asked if he could come by Sunday morning … I said NO>>> I arranged my time off from work Wednesday to Friday.... he wasted my saturday day off

Both installers were very courteous and professional and did a great job getting 8 windows removed and installed in only a few hours. They did have to come back and finish the outside trim but they did it while I was at work so no big deal. Would definitely recommend.

Installers worked non-stop until entire job completed. Took almost 12 hours to install 17 new windows. Interior oak trim around windows scarred in each room. One window in kitchen does not lock. Clean-up of packing materials was impressive. Very much appreciated the call stating 10 minutes to arrival.

I have used and recommended Window World to my family and friends. I had one bad experience with one installer but found out after he did my job he quit. But they are going to come back and fix the caulking he messed up. I have been doing a few windows at a time but now am finishing all of the 24 windows in my home. I like how easy they are to clean.

My windows were just installed two days ago, so the only thing I can comment on is the installation. One screen has a small hole in it and some of the caulking isnt up to par. Also, they didnt wipe down the windows or clean up their mess very well. That said, one of the crew members was new to the job and didnt do the caulking very well - but, weve all had to learn as we go - right? Because of that, its not too big of a problem for me and they said theyd come back and fix it, as well as the hole in the screen. Other than that, the windows look great and the people have been very pleasant to work with!

They were friendly and professional. They did a great job with our house and were done in a very short time. It was very apparent they knew what they were doing and were very good at it. I would recommend them and there products to anyone.

Update - I noticed this spring that one of the awning windows was installed at an angle such that it cannot open all the way. Window World has been prompt in scheduling a time for their field supervisor to come take a look at it. I will update this review with the results of this issue.Window World was the fastest and most cost-effective option for replacing some 1950s windows in our home ahead of the arrival of our baby. It turned out that they were scheduled out farther than they had originally told us due to being so busy in the Columbia office, but they were able to get a crew in from Kansas City a few weeks ahead of our expected installation date which was great for our peace of mind in finishing the nursery. The windows werent cleaned before they left and excess sealant had to be scraped off of the windows and windowsills in most cases, but I am very impressed that they were able to finish the job in one day. The warranty that comes with these windows is also a great value-add. I would recommend Window World to anyone, and having dealt with an impossible Lowes subcontractor on a different home improvement project, the chose between the two should be a no-brainer.

The installers were great!! They were doing what they were told to do! However the consulting personnel that make your contract was very misleading and did not include everything that was promised. Tried putting metal wrap around wood that was completely rotted and falling apart. I will say that they did make it right in the end and replaced what was suppose to be replaced, it was just a headache in the meantime. The windows look great and do have an awesome warranty!!

The windows look great. The installers were polite and efficient. I am disappointed that the windows were not cleaned after completion. Lots of sweat, smudges and calk residue on the windows. At the price we are paying, I thought the windows should have been clean.

I had the windows and sliding doors for several months now and they are of so so quality.The door latch on one of the sliding doors fell off and I had to reattach with longer screws.The other sliding door is difficult to lock-unlock and the plastic trim keeps falling off.

Window was devolved and installed with a big crack across the top sash. No communication from WW about the crack before or after the install.
