My 1st visit and certainly not my last. Staff was warm and inviting, disinfectant was used after each client. Service was excellent the owner was knowledgeable and this is my new salon!

The place is clean, the staff is friendly, the equipment is nice. I had a pedicure & my tech did a great job. Price was on par with all the nail salons in the area. I will be back.

I highly recommend this place of business. Lisa was my technician who is very well qualified. Whenever I am here in Maryland this is where I come to have my nails done.

This is my new regular place! I just happened to find them online when looking for a place around me to go to. What a hidden gem! I just popped in to see the place and asked if they could take a walk in, I waited no more than a few minutes and was able to be seen! Tina did an AMAZING job on my nails, by far the best experience Ive had in a nail salon in this area. All the staff there were so nice. My nails look just perfect! I am beyond pleased.

Love Vickie Nails! Goand support them small businesses are struggling. They use all the safety precautions. It is safe.

Ive tried several nail salons in Columbia, MD without much success. I happened on Vickies in March 2019 and couldnt be more pleased. Its a friendly and homey kind of place (nicely decorated and always clean). All of the employees are polite, professional and very kind. Sue Ann does an incredible job on my acrylic nails and my pedicures are always perfect. Its obvious to me that this salon takes great pride in their work.

Got a manicure and pedicure for the first time. Very nice staff. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely be back. Make sure you set an appointment!

I call last minute all the time and they do their best to fit me in. If you want a gel manicure to LAST come here. They are quick and honest about what time you will be seen and when you will be finished. Pedicures are on point as well. Appointments are key! They are always booked for a reason people : )

I do like it here and it’s close to my work, but I’ve come here every time and I make an appointment and I STILL have to wait over a half an hour EVERY TIME. They take appointments when they shouldn’t, and people who make appointments then have to wait. I’m sitting here writing this review IN THIS PLACE. I originally came her at 11:30, an appointment I made, waited a half hour and said if I can come later since I’m not waiting over an hour for my appointment. And now I came ten minutes early, for my 6 pm appointment, so I understand if they can’t get me in until exactly 6, but NOW it’s been over an extra 15 after my appointment. Why can’t they just follow their appointment times?!

Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Relaxing experience overall. I get my eyebrows done ($9) by Tina (?) and she’s really good and I know she is because i have difficult eyebrows and they come out perfect each time. She takes her time which is good for me. I highly recommend this place.

Impeccable service! I must say this is the best nail salon Ive been to. Upon my arrival, I was greeted and received professional service. Unlike many salons Ive frequented in the past, the tech took her time and was very attentive to detail, resulting in a flawless manicure and pedicure. I will definitely be returning.

Best gel manicure you can get. Great pedicure as well. All the staff is well trained and facilities are clean. I come here eveeyy 2-3 weeks to keep up on my nails.

The best place I have ever had my nails done, they are the healthiest and longest they ever have been! I suggest the gel manicure and a pedicure. People always think I have acrylics but I tell them “These are my natural nails!” The gel easily lasts 3 weeks! If I didn’t have nail growth they would last even longer. SueAnn is incredible and oh so sweet! They make you feel like a regular even when you’re new, which obviously brings you back to become a regular. You will always want to call and make an appointment because they are usually booked solid, even on the weekdays. I could never recommend a place as highly as I do Vickie’s!

The best nail salon in Maryland! I have been going to Andy for years now, and he is the best! Everyone else there is phenomenal too! My gel manicure stays on for at least 3 weeks! Warm, inviting and clean salon!

Ive only visited once this far but I think Ive found my new place for a pedicure. It was fantastic, clean and well ventilated, and they ACTUALLY HOLD TO appointments. How nice is that?

I live in North Carolina, but was in the area visiting. My experience was EXCELLENT! I called that morning for a pedicure the same day. Everyone there was so nice and accommodating. I had one of the best pedicures I ever had. I also got paraffin wax...and the atmosphere was so comfortable I fell asleep. When I woke up, I asked if I was snoring and everybody laughed...luckily I wasnt.

I love this salon and will be going back soon! Very friendly, very clean, and a wonderful finished product. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

This is my favorite nail salon in Columbia based solely on the service and salon quality. My boyfriend treated his mom and I to nails around Christmas, she loves Vickie’s so she scheduled us here. I’ve been coming back ever since.They don’t take WALK-IN clients for a reason! It’s so they aren’t overbooked.No rushed messy services.No making scheduled/regular clients wait and waste their time.This is what separates them, efficiency!!Also because they’re not rushing so they can get to the next client, they take their time and perfect your nails.The salon is VERY clean and organized. No clutter or questionable/non-sanitized products or tools.I got a gel manicure it lasted soooooooo long it was ridiculous. Atleast a month, with no cracking, chipping, or raised edges. Mind you I have a 8 month old so I was dishes and clean all day.They also did a very thorough pedicure with massage & hot towels.I’m going back and getting stiletto gel tips for vacation. I will upload pictures.The only reason I did not give them five stars is because they sometimes lack proper customer service skills when interacting with clients.For Example an elder woman came into the shop for a pedicure. She was very insecure about the condition of her feet. Even though she was trying to discuss it quietly the staff member shouted all of the woman’s business across the shop to the man who was going to do her pedicure. The woman was humiliated 😔 I felt so bad for her.

LOVE!! I’m not from the area and needed my recently done nails off because another shop in my hometown didn’t do a good job. I googled Vicki nails & the reviews seemed to be good. They were very busy but said if I come back in an hour someone would be available. XUAN was the lady I spoke with & who did my nails. We did Gel & Gel polish!! Love them! Great for your natural nail too! Everyone was very friendly and I will Definitely be going back!! Thank you Xaun!!!! Rate 10 Stars

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had. Called ahead to inquire about the prices for a basic mani/pedi and gel manicure then I asked if they had availability. The woman I spoke to said yes so I when I got there, I told them I was there for a basic mani/pedi. The woman I spoke to came with guns blazing telling me I told her I wanted a gel manicure. I told her I never said that instead, I asked for the prices. She insisted several times she confirmed on the phone with me that I wanted gel. I told her if that were the case, I would have corrected her because for the price of just a gel mani, I might as well just get a basic mani and pedi therefore it never happened. I got so mad, I just walked out. Never going there again.

The customer service was bad.There was one male nail tech at Vickie’s who did my nails and his attitude was horrible.

This was my second time going and I was seen and finished quickly. I got a regular mani/pedi and I received excellent service. I will be back.

Called to make sure they could see me early on a Saturday, the invite on the phone was warm. Conversation in the chair with Dee felt natural. Got to watch the Golden Girls on tv. Price fits Columbia location.

My mom had an appointment but never even got her nails done because they let another customer go ahead of her and she was there for over an hour and was late picking me up and still hadnt had her nails finished. She told me this was the second time they did this to her. I told her to never go back there again.

Initially I was offended because the lady kept asking me if I had an appointment. I was under the impression that she didnt want to service me. I was sooo wrong. My technician Tina gave me the best pedi/mani ever!! They basically go by appoinments more so than walk-ins. This place was clean and eveyone was friendly and called you by your name. Great atmosphere. The patrons were even nice! In a world were customer service is not a priority anymore..this place was a refreshing change. Will be going back and I will make an appointment 😊

I visited Vickies Nails last week when I was in the area after a doc appointment and decided to get a pedicure since the place I usually go to didnt have any available appointments that day. When I called, I asked if they could take a walk-in at around 3:45pm. The gentleman who answered said yes. When I arrived, I was greeted nicely by the staff and they sent me straight back to the pedicure chair. I would say the best experience at this place was the massage chair. Nothing else was pleasant about my experience. I guess they had a newer or inexperienced nail tech do my pedicure. But who was I to be choosy since I was a walk-in and had never been there before, so I was cool with that. As the tech began the pedicure, I began to see that she was asking the other tech a lot of questions. She worked very slowly, which I didnt think would be an issue until after I was there for 2.5 hours for a pedicure. I noticed that the tech filed down one of my big toenails too far down when I felt the pain of her filing my flesh. I was very irritated, but she was nice and seemed very apologetic. I couldnt have one very short toenail and be happy leaving there, so I asked her if should could put a tip on there to match the length of my other big toenail.I have had this done at other nail salons without a problem when I broke a toenail, so I didnt think it would be an issue, especially since she filed it down so short. She got up and asked another tech and then came back and told me that someone else would put on the tip after my pedicure was complete. I said okay. But after she was done, it seemed like it was such a big issue. The other tech came out the back room and started on another client and didnt want to fix my toenail. They werent speaking English, so I was only going by body language, facial expressions, and what they said to me in English. After speaking with three different techs, my tech finally came back to me and told me that it would be a wait (by this time, it was already 4:45pm). I asked her how long, and then that meant another non-English conversation between techs. It seemed like my big toenail was the topic of discussion for a while, as other clients began to look over my way. I immediately knew I would not be back to this place when the gentleman (I assume the one I spoke to on the phone) came over and very rudely told me that it would be a wait and I again asked him how long. He said 20 minutes. He couldnt even look me in my face when he was speaking to me. I said okay. After 30 minutes went by, my tech was done painting all my other toenails, and my right big toenail was still looking crazy. Finally, the lady tech who sits in the front came over with and attitude, and did a horrible job filing and blending the tip in because you could see where my nail ended and where the tip began underneath the polish that my tech applied. I was so done at that point and told them to take it all off. But, my tech pleaded with me to let another tech try to fix the nail. I only said yes because I felt sorry for my tech who was learning. Luckily the other tech managed to fix the toenail properly. I ended up spending 2.5 hours there just for a regular pedicure. This place doesnt know how to treat customers and doesnt care about customer time and satisfaction. You would think that they would at least try to gain another client, but they did a horrible convincing me to ever go back there. I will NEVER go there again or recommend this place to anyone.
