I paid 111.00 for this I really didn’t want to but it will be my last time they scratched up the top of my foot yes I need lotion but guess what couldn’t cause it burned from the scraps I asked the girl why the polished looked like that she said it will be better with top coat terrible terrible service never again wasted time and money

The worst nails I have EVER had. Lady would slap at my hand and tell me to “relax” even when she was quite clearly hurting me. Please. Please. Please. Go somewhere else. Bliss on Killian is great. Posh is also great.

I had an absolutely terrible experience and will not be returning to this salon. Both my daughter and I had appointments but still had to wait to be seen. I told the receptionist more than once what services we were getting (fill-in and full set) and she still had me sit down at a station to soak off my nails. When I said that is not what I was there for she just walked away and left me sitting at the station. Very poor communication. I have being going here for years (I went to the old location before they moved) but after the service I received from Jason yesterday, I will be taking my business elsewhere. After expressing my disappointment with my nails, the situation was turned back on me as if it was my fault my nails looked horrible. Management was made aware of the situation and made no attempt to make it right. I am extremely saddened by this experience. Loyalty means nothing to this establishment so don’t expect any if you go there. I was brushed off and made to feel like I was the problem. Not the experience I wanted or expected when I made the appointment. This was supposed to be a special experience for me and my daughter before her senior prom and it was absolutely ruined by the unprofessional behavior of the employees at this place of business. The only reason I am giving one star is because Hannah did my daughter’s nails and she did an amazing job. She always does an amazing job.

Jason did my nails. The pedicure was fine. The manicure was the worst I have ever had. I showed them a picture of what I wanted (blue and white tips) and 3 different people working there told me they could do it. Jason tried to do the manicure three times. The first time, I ended up with blue tips and the rest of the nails were discolored purple with blue streaks. Then he tried to paint over the entire nail with blue and do white tips, but the white and blue mixed. The third time, the design is close, but at this point there were several other issues. Several of my natural nails are damaged from too much sanding (you can actually see the damage through the clear polish), my nails are filed down unevenly, there are multiple mistakes in the polish, and there is polish on my skin. At that point, he had already been working on my hands for two hours and they offered a $15 discount, so I gave up. I will not be returning to this salon and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

I do not use this location for my hands, but for pedicures they are THE BEST in the biz! I have had many different employees do my toes, but Rena did my pedicures once and I have never looked back; she is professional, clean, friendly, and she does an amazing job on my toes. Honestly, she has been a miracle worker. She has taken care of my feet for the past 3 years, and working law enforcement and being in boots about 60 hours a week she has taken out ingrown toenails that I didnt even know I had. She keeps me feeling and my feet look feminine even in a male dominant workforce. I HIGHLY recommend her for service!

Very sweet staff! They worked diligently to get me and my 5 girls manis and pedis within an hour and a half. Staff accommodated for a scratched nail polish incident and was very understanding and kind about redoing it. The manager very generously gifted me a complementary bridal goodie bag once they found out I was getting married. Definitely 10 out of 10!!

I am so very pleased with my pedicure and the entire experience here at Sparkle! The customer service was wonderful- serene and very kind! The pedicure was relaxing and Rena was so talented! I will be back!!!

Things went downhill the moment I walked in the door. I had a 10:45 appointment on Saturday, June 5, 2021 with Lynn. When I arrived I was told that Lynn was not there. If that was the case then why did y’all let me book the appointment. No big deal right? They did work me in after all. I ended up with Dominic as a technician. I was polite the entire time despite the hiccup. For whatever reason Dominic continued to look up at me and roll his eyes. I could only assume he was disgusted with my dry hands. I work in the medical field. I wash my hands 200 times a day. They needed some TLC and that’s exactly why I booked the manicure. I explain that to him at the end of the appointment thinking that he would empathize with me and understand that helping patients is more important than worrying about my hands. Instead he rolled his eyes again. I lost count after six times of him shaking his head and rolling his eyes. I certainly don’t appreciate paying for a service and then being judged the entire time that I’m there. Especially when this place charges five dollars more than any other salon for their manicures and there really wasn’t a whole lot to it. You soaked my hands in a bowl with a lime for 3 minutes, a little file and buff, and then painted them. Thats it. Hell for that I should’ve just gone and gotten them painted and saved the $20. I was there two weeks ago getting a pedicure and Rena did them and I didn’t have this problem. She got a $10 tip because she was kind and did a good job. I didn’t tip Dominic which is against everything I believe in but I refuse to be treated that way when I’m paying for a service. He ended up leaving a gel blob on top of my pinky nail but I certainly wasn’t going to say anything. Sparkle Nail has got to do something about these technicians and their attitudes. At this point I don’t even wanna come back.

Experience was okay. Very nice facility but it was very crowded and I noticed I didn’t get lotion after the pedicure. They also didn’t trim my nails enough and I had to ask repeatedly. It was also very very expensive for a mani pedi, in my opinion.

I just relocated to the area in search of a new salon and went based off reviews. Well, whatever you do, DONT get Jason. He was a nice guy, but extremely slow, busy on his phone, and at some point he was falling asleep. Nails are okay,, not pretty enough for a $55 cost. Guess Ill keep Searching.....

The place is nice but Jason was texting and doing my nails at the same time. The WHOLE ENTIRE TIME!! Very unprofessional and unacceptable.

I’ve been getting my eyebrows done by Mary for about two or three yrs and every time she does them I feel great and she takes her time with it to make sure you’re satisfied

So full acrylic is 30 but they don’t have the prices for pedicure set up ???? This place comes up with prices while doing the service, my toes look good but my acrylics already chipping and one of them broke in the middle........ I GOT MYSERVICE YESTERDAY (BLACK FRIDAY) they were slow because obviously everyone is shopping and even then my service was done too quickly and with no care, I rather keep going to MOD nails right across the st.

I was searching for a nice place to get my second ever pedicure. I did a lot of research online including reading reviews, looking at ratings, and proximity to me. I chose Sparkle based on the aforementioned criteria. Im glad I did. I made an appointment online and was taken immediately after arriving and I was there about 10 minutes prior to what I blocked. My technician was John and he was pleasant. My nails look great and if I decide to do another pedicure, Ill come back here.

It has been awhile since I’ve visited Sparkle nails. I decided to stop by since I never had issues with getting in and out. It’s been 20 minutes and I’m still waiting. This will be my LAST time visiting. Posh or Bliss nail salon near exit 77 are the best. They care about customer wait time, which should be the most important factor to nail businesses.

I was So disrespected. I paid for My Pedicure. I was sitting in the front counting My money. I JUST paid the Young Boy at the front. Less than 2 minutes later, He had the NERVE to give a Second slip of Paper with 30 dollars on it.Thus, I said. I just PAID U. I Guess, We Blacks all look alike. What even sadder. He didnt apologize for the mistake.First and Last time.

My 3yr. Old and I go for a mommy daughter nail day every few weeks. We are always taken care of and leave 100% satisfied. Everyone is so sweet to my little girl, and pamper her like a princess! The establishment is always clean, and always up to date with all the new products available.

Went for pedi and a mani before vacation. My husband paid for the services after his pedi. The upsell to gel for my mani was declined by me.Jason was my tech for nails. Perhaps he should of been focusing on my nails instead of again trying to up sell me to gel. I have never had such a horrid job done ever! You could see sand lines in the acrylic as well as humps and dips. I changed the polish myself which hid some of that. Within 2 days one thumb tip just popped off. It didnt break my natural nail. Day 3.. the other.thumb popped off. Remember I am on vacation here. I got home today.. another one popped off! See you in the morning Jason. 😡😡This wasnt a normal experience for me at Sparkle. I wont ever have Jason as my tech again!

I went to this salon based on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed! Lynne did my pedicure and SNS dip on my nails. I got the pink and white manicure and I have never had it look so neat. its not too thick and she filed my nails perfectly. I, unlike most people, do not want to have a conversation while I get a manicure or pedicure. I like to read or just zone out. Lynne respected this and only asked me questions when she needed to. She also checked many times to see if I was happy with her work. I was offered a drink upon arrival, and I was in and out with all that I had done in 1.5 hours. I didnt have to wait at all, but I did have an appointment. Highly recommend!

Great place and very clean. They even have baggies for the bowls so you know it is only you that has touched the inside of the pedicure and hand bowl. Offers free drinks during a mani/pedi. Very detailed oriented to make sure your nails are even and straight. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed here for the past 4 years (over 30 times), and once the wax was too hot and it burned my eye a little bit. Hence the 4 star, but for that to happen less than 3% of the time there I will continue to come back.

This is my favorite salon in the area. Despite which technician I get, they consistently do a better job than most other places. They are polite and friendly, and any inter employee banter in another language (which sometimes sounds like making fun of customers at other locations) is kept to a minimum. Good pedicures, that last a quite a while, very pleased with my brow wax. Had a technician named Hannah.

Horrible experience with Andy. He did powder gel nails and painted my toes. On a Saturday. Very busy. He rushed. They were not completely painted. My French was all crooked. My finger nails and toes were cut and filed wacky. Getting them fixed and not returning. 80 bucks down the drain.

This place is a straight joke... charging $40 for gel polish fill. The way these reviews are looking, they need to evaluate their prices and customer service. I’ll never step foot in their business.

Andy does an awesome job on my nails and Lynne gives the best pedicures in the world. She is also the only person in SC I trust to wax my brows! Everyone at Sparkle is super nice. The prices are great and the atmosphere is always relaxing. Would never consider going anywhere else!

I liked coming here because they never cut me. However last couple times their prices kept changing and I didn’t see a pricelist posted. I went in and got a basic full set and I asked for medium nails but the lady still made them short... $30Go back for a fill-in.... JUST A FILL-IN... $40!!!Yeah not cool....UPDATE: I caught a fungus on my nail after this service... I already told management and they said it’s because I waited too long to get a fill in... it was 2 maybe 3 weeks!

I went in today due the the gel polish that was done in Charleston had been peeling off. First let me say this was my 1st time there but it wont be my last. Heather was really nice and sweet. She took her time with my nails and made sure they were all even. I was given options between gel and the powder. Although, its a bit pricey I opted for the powder on my natural nails. I love the color. The only down side was a lady had her children who were not told to sit down nor stay up front. To me its very unprofessional for children to be in the service area especially if they arent being serviced. Once I see how well this powder lasts Ill either edit this review or create a new review.

Henry gives the BEST Pedi you will ever have, I will never go to anyone else. I know everyone thinks their Nail Tech is the best but I promise you try Henry once and there will be no going back for you either!

I wish I could give 0 stars!! My mom came in to visit me and we decided to spend time getting a pedicure. Upon arrival we were asked to pick colors. As we were picking our colors a lady came to me and said she thought I was too big to sit in the pedicure chair. I have had no problems prior to this and was mortified as other staff watched while she told me this! I would never go here and I would hope that others would not either!

Been going to sparkle nails for years; today Hannah wasn’t in so i went to Jason and i must say by far the worst experience i’ve ever had.. my nails are uneven the polish is splotchy and he was rough!!! i pay too much money not to be satisfied.. will be looking for a new establishment immediately

I go to sparkle nail spa to get my eye brows waxed several times a year. Wax is always perfect. Clean and quite. Everyone is nice and fast

The nail technician badgered me throughout my entire visit to get gel nails. I respectfully declined each time. He tried to strong-arm me into getting gel nails even going so far as to ask what difference did ten more dollars make. I will not visit this salon again. I was prepared to get a pedicure and fill-in but because of his insistence that I spend $10 extra he lost out on $30 for the pedicure.

My experience wasn’t so good it was so painful and my nails look awful I just got them done like 2 weeks ago but the nail tech was nice but my acrylic was very thin.

A great clean place with great deals and a wonderful staff! Andy is the best he always makes sure my nails look just the way I want them ( I can be picky sometimes lol ) This is also the only place I get my eyebrows waxed at, if you havent been there yet you should check them out!! Ask for Andy

Awful. Do not go to this salon. I had a free afternoon and decided to get my nails done. My nails look like a 5 year old did them. Bumpy, chipped, uneven and jagged edges. Plus, the technician used no lotion or cuticle oil throughout the manicure. She trimmed my cuticles, shaped my nails and applied polish. Thats it. It took 30 minutes for both a pedicure and a manicure. The pedicure was done by someone else and slightly better, but again, as if a 5 year old did it. There was lotion applied during the pedicure, butonly applied on my calves.

I love Sparkle. Mainly I love getting designs on my toes. I usually let the technician do what they want and they always have fun and go all out. Its always a pleasant surprise.

At first they were great. They tell you to sign up for their reward program. However you never get any rewards. They use one powder and up charge and say its gel. Just really disappointed about being lied to about simple stuff when I was a faithful customer never spending less than $50 a visit.

I love Sparkle. Its always clean, the instruments are sterilized with an autoclave, and there is a wide variety of nail colors and services. I dont feel rushed, EVER. I have brought my 7 year old niece and they took wonderful care of her. The low reviews are shocking to me.

I’ve been here a few times and been pleased with my nails, but let me tell you about Hannah. This girl lays acrylic more beautifully than I’ve ever seen. I got a full set of ombré nails and they were the perfect color, size, shape, everything. Not to mention one thing I hate about getting my nails done is the burns from the drill. She is so careful and attentive, both times I went to see her, my hands came away perfectly unscathed. Also, I bartend so I put my nails THROUGH IT. After two weeks, the nails she did didn’t crack, chip, yellow, or lift; they were perfect aside from being grown out. I’m so happy to have found my go to nail salon/tech! Highly recommend!

I took my little girl (3 yrs old) in for a Mommy-Daughter mani/pedi date. They did amazing! Not only do my toes and nails look great but they were so gentle and sweet with her. Shes been talking about it nonstop and showing them off to everyone around! Good quality work and super sweet employees. I wont go anywhere else from now on! Be sure to ask for Heather or Gabi!

The girl who did my nails was not friendly until I went to pay and asked me if I wanted to leave a tip REALLY?? ..I needed a fill in well i got one but nails dont look much better..Nails are not smooth can see spots and air bubbles I would NOT recommend going here to have nails done..

I use to go to Venus nail over in the shopping center... HORRIBLE SERVICE! I started going to sparkle & I absolutely fell in love! They’re fast but friendly & they make sure you’re happy! Pedicures are the bomb & they even have a rewards program! I just hate that they’re closed on sundays 😭

They were awful! The guy I had was rude and pushy and did not do my nails how I asked at all.

They have a good collection of nail colors and quite a few tables for manicure and seats for pedicure... But the service could be flaky. If you get a gel manicure and are ready to splurge then you are up for a good service if you go in for a regular manicure you dont always get treated that well. I go there only coz they have a good selection of colors and are not a super fancy pricy place.

Ok this place deserves no stars at all, me and my mom visited this place and I got a pedicure and she got her eyebrows waxed. LET ME TELL YOU this lady beat up my legs my feet and legs were very sore after, my mom said the lady was being very rough with her eyebrows and my mom’s face was red and she said it was sore. My first time here and my last. I will never come here again.

The employees are so great, I have always left with beautiful nails and a positive attitude. Just wonderful!

Very friendly staff. Every time I have visited the spa it is packed...of course, avoid the weekends if possible! Close parking is a whomever gets here first parking game...hence the only challenge.

The technician that did my pedicure was obviously very inexperienced & the design I asked for was very very simple & it turned out to look like a 3yr old had done it. I had to go back after my toes were smeared bc apparently they did not fully dry. (I was never sat under the dryer by the way) I got a different tech to re-do the designs that were smeared in hopes that she would do a better job. She didnt work out, got a 3rd person...finally she was better but the overall experience was terrible, poor craftsmanship.

I went here to get a gel full set and I was surprised when they charged me $60 when every where else it is only $45. And then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip... (who asks for a tip??) I would not have minded paying $60 if my nails did not look like crap after 1 week. It was like the gel started to desolve after a week. I will not be going back!
