I’ve been looking for a quality nail salon/nail tech for months in my city and I’m happy that I’ve finally found one! Sasha did a full-set for me w/coffin shape and I was very pleased. The places I’ve been to in the past never got the shape right without me having to ask them to file more etc. She was efficient, personable, & the cost definitely matched the quality work that I received. I highly recommend making this nail salon your go to if you’re in the Columbia area.

I had Lisa today who was a very meticulous technician and really took care to give me thorough but thoughtful gel manicure today. She assessed my nail strength before deciding which technique would be best for completing the job. I was so impressed with her. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the price was not my favorite thing and I didnt feel that there were enough gel polish colors as compared to other locations. However, I would definitely go back to see Lisa.

I had the best experience at Mod Nail Spa. Seriously out of the hundreds of manicures I’ve had in my life I’ve never been more satisfied with the results. Before hand I thought maybe it was just the shape of my nails that caused me to never got the spot on look I was going for but Sasha was very informative and honest when helping me decide on my desired shape. Also I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing a color and she was super patient with me and just and all around pleasant person to be around. I can’t stop looking at my nails, Sasha killed it. I will definitely be returning. Also the other techs there were super friendly too! Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to MOD nails for over 6 years and the service never fails. Kim, Candace, and the rest of the nail techs are amazing and take such good care of me. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

My mother, sister and I paid for gel nails. None lasted a week! My mother is 87 and has had them done extensively prior to us moving to SC and they have lasted weeks but not here! Only lasted 4 days and she was doing nothing. Sent them an email with pictures of all our nails chipped and they didn’t even respond. Don’t waste your money.

Went in for my first pedicure of 2021. Kimberly was good, efficient, and conscientious. Went early on a Friday. Not many clients were there, and that’s the way I like it. I’ll return.

I tried this salon after trying several others in the Columbia area. It remains my favorite due to its cleanliness, service, and hospitality. Ive had a pedicure from almost every employee and they were all fantastic. The gel pedicures always last 3.5-4 weeks without chipping or peeling. I never feel rushed through my service and everyone is so nice. Cost is average; not cheap and not overly expensive. I would recommend this business to anyone.

My wife gets her eyebrows waxed here . She loves the shop . Its clean, she loved the decor and Lisa does a nice job on her eyebrows .

I didn’t have a very good tec. My nails were misshapen and I had to fix them on my own which I did in the shop no one asked to correct it and it’s 50 no matter what you get done. It just wasn’t worth the money.

Cathy and David were incredible! My daughter and I are visiting from Canada and our experience with them today was unparalleled. The salon was clean, and the service was great. We got special pedicures that were relaxing and our nails look amazing. Will definitely come here again whenever we visit, and will recommend to all friends coming down! Thank you!

I hadnt had a pedicure in some time. And they did an excellent job. With this pandemic I felt that they took additional steps to make sure that customers and staff remain safe. Very grateful for the extra steps helping everyone adjust to normalcy

Candace is the absolute best. She told me to start using vasoline ( patroleum jelly) on my heels and in a matter of days i saw a huge difference. The staff is always friendly whether they are personally serving you or not. Very family friendly environment and they know you by name.

I called ahead and scheduled a lunch time appointment. The shop is lovely and inviting. I noticed that employees greeted most customers by name came in, which suggests they have many regulars. My technician, Ivan, did great work. He was very pleasant and even gave me tips to make my gel polish last longer. I will absolutely be returning for future services.

Mod Nail spa is one of THE best nail spas in Columbia! Everyone in this Establishment does a great job. They are extremely professional, its a friendly environment and they use quality nail polish. And the best part is you do not have to wait very long, I can literally set my watch to how long it will take when I go there.

This nail salon is the best. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff is beyond amazing. I had trouble finding someone that does pink and white and Kim does an absolutely perfect job with my nails. My pedicures are allways perfect also. I would recommend this nail salon to everyone looking for a great experience.

I love Mod Nail Spa! I get gel nail polish done by Ivan. It always last three weeks, and I could get away with wearing it longer if my finger nails didnt grow out, because it has never chipped or peeled, which Ive had happen at other salons. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, and remembers you from the last time you were there! Ive gotten a pedicure before and that was great as well. I drive 25 minutes just to get my nails done here and it is worth it!

Very nice establishment, and the staff is great; however, the price of their services does not equate to their quality of work! I will not return, and my nails looked awful! I asked for a full set, but the owner said it would be cheaper for a nail replacement and a fill in. The technician replaced three of my broken nails on old gel acrylic that I previously had on my nails from my last fill in. Ive never seen anyone do such a thing in the 15 years Ive been getting my nails done. I was so pissed I paid a high dollar amount for a botched fill-in! They offer a nail warranty to fix your nails if anything happens within the week, and I declined by going elsewhere the next week for a way better CHEAPER job and a full set for only $40!

I typically book with Ivan, but everyone there is great!! If you’re looking for a friendly, professional environment, this is the place! I’ve never had a bad experience there and I’ve been going for about 2 years.

I went there a couple months ago and my gel nails lasted over a month and wouldn’t come off. This past time I went there I got gel again and their already coming off and i got them less than a week ago.The manager personally called me and informed me of why the nails were starting to chip a little. Which is very nice and she said she would personally fix the chipped nails. I would definitely recommend this nail spa to everyone.

Love this place, great service and wonderful people! Ive been getting my nails and waxing done here for years. Dont expect to just walk in and get service unless one of the girls are free. They do mostly appointments and you are always taken care of within 10 minutes of your scheduled time.

They were a little overpriced but over all they did a good job on my nails & toes. I want to try some of the creative nail art Ive seen pictures of but Im scared at how much Ill end up spending.

Had mixed reviews on this. Thought the people who worked at Mod were very nice. I was a walk-in and they had no problem fitting me in for a pedicure.Chose to have a spa pedicure specifically for the massage. They did apply lotion to my legs/calfs and rubbed it in for about 30 seconds then grabbed my big toe and little toe and did the little shimmy but I wouldnt categorize the lotion application as a massage.I have an issue with the cleanliness of the tools used on my feet. They use a UV sterilizer to clean the tools. Please google this method before you take my word for it, but it does not kill bacteria. Additionally, seems like they have two sets of tools for each person receiving the pedicure. During the time I was there, they were very busy and tools were taken out of the sterilizer shortly after they were put into it. Again, not an expert on this method of sterilizing but... eI will say that the chair that I sat in for my pedicure was amazing though!Im certain I wont return. There are too many nail salons to choose from in the area and refuse to put up with sanitation issues and an underwhelming foot massage.
