Jenny is da bomb. I didnt feel rushed and I was a walk in. My pedicure was very relaxing... First time in the shop I said I wanted something different. Im conservative with my nails. A plain color or French. First time getting lashes done in 7 years and they are comfortable, and work for my hooded eyes. Was skeptical but happy I tried them. Definitely will be going back.

I love this place. Jenny is very good at what she does. She is the one I choose for my nails 💅and my lashes because I personally believe on her hand work.

My tech was polite, but she wasnt concerned about making my nails even in length 🙄. She polished my nails nicely.

OK I will say that the nail tech is very good but lately as the other reviews said they have been price gouging there are different prices I started off paying 35 for a pedicure all of a sudden I was charged $50 and I brought my own gel polish !!!and the nail techs also change the prices on you so make sure you get the price confirmed before the service I’m going to stop coming here for my pedicure the only reason why I’m still going to the shop is because the tech does excellent nails

Just left this place and the girl that did my eyebrows did lazy work. There was so much leftover wax on my face and hair that her wax didn’t get. Not going to this place anymore. I’m literally on the way to another place to fix what she did and wasn’t able to accomplish.

This place has changed very overpriced they change prices everytime I visit this was the straw I did my own fill in learned from you tube but the girl /lady gonna look at my nails n make a comment in her language n I know she said something because the other lady looked right at me but anyway every body else said I did a good job on my fill inEven my real nail tech I only went there as usual because my regular nail tech could do my nails that day but they charged me 45 for polish n a design mind u I didnt get no fill in this place was nice when they first opened but it not now they need the old people back because the new ones aint hitting

Very quiet, clean and staff was polite. Their designs are great and they keep up with the new fads. Prices are reasonable.

I have been going to this business for over a year and the customer service is getting worse and worse. They have physically fought with customers in their establishment on several occasions. They talk about customers in their native tongue) while customers are sitting at their stations. Several employees have contracted Covid-19, but kept coming to work and they donteven practice social distancing.

Im very lucky to find this place in Columbia, and Jenny did an amazing job. She’s very nice and patient. She took her time to make sure you have a beautiful nails. Shes a best nail tech ever, she does the design nails excellent. Every time i just found a picture on online and she does exactly what i want, even better in the picture. Would give 10 stars for her and this salon. 👍👍👍👍👍

Horrible she cut my skin and caused infection

The wait time during the week is usually short. All implements are brand new and in packages! Everyone was very nice and working fastly, exact. The woman who manicured me, she really know how to choose the color I am very satisfied.

I really luv visiting this particular Nail Spa. I go by appointment only with Jenny the Nail Tech. She is very punctual and also flexible with my schedule. It’s also a very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. In addition my nails last for over three weeks and don’t break. This facility is definitely worth my time and money.

Had the wonderful experience of a spa pedi with some friends... this is a beautiful, immaculate place with skilled, warm staff and unlike others that claim the Spa experience...Pearl acually delivers....A shore gem ..i will be back!

I always pass this place on the way home and wanted to give a try. I should have known better when I saw that they were hardly any customers inside when I entered on a Saturday. I went in to get my eyebrows waxed. I walked into a tiny over crowded room and let the lady know exactly how I wanted my eye brows done (no arch just a clean up don’t make them too thin). Needless to say she messed up my eyebrows. She went to go and get another lady to help her out and she told me they would be fine bc they would “grow back.” She attempted to correct what the previous employee messed up but while she worked she never apologized. Instead they only laughed, the two of them together. When it was time to pay I wasn’t even given a receipt I had to ask for that. No one thanked me, no one told me to have a good evening, no one asked me to come again. That is so disappointing. I will never return

I absolutely love this place, they’re always available never to busy when you need to get your nails done. Customer service is amazing never a hassle to get something fixed when something’s wrong. I had a bad nail experience at another business came here and they fixed my nails the way I wanted them done. Very professional, great business. 10/10 every time, there isn’t a style they can’t do,

I took my daughter here as part of our fun mommy daughter date. No one even acknowledged us. Then when my daughter was trying to pick a color/design an employee told her not to touch anything. We left and will not be back. Went across the street to Nail Trix & Spa, they were great!

Mimi was sweet and very helpful. But.....The nail color I chose does not match my nails, and the nail length is not even.I had my acrylics removed (tis the season for baking and I don’t want batter up under my nails, plus I work retail so I don’t want to accidentally rip one off in a rush) but at first they wanted to fill in. As my nails were being removed an unused fake nail for acrylics was used to pry under my nail to remove the acrylic that was already there. It took everything in my power not to cry from the amount of times she slipped and cut into my cuticle with the fake nail.The red polish I chose was a much deeper red on the display, plus the two thin coats obviously didn’t cut it. I could’ve done a better job at home or asked my cousin’s 4 year old to do it for me.

Lisa did a great job. Clean salon. No screaming back and forth by the technicians as I have experienced in other salons. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Got my nails done last week and turned out to be the best manicure I ever had. Mya did an amazing job, not only for me, but she was also fixing another womans nail that had chipped. Definitely going back to this salon very soon!

I love the way Mya does my nails. She knows exactly what I want and have never been disappointed.

The nail tech that I had seemed like she wanted to get me in and out. My nails were loop sided and I had to go and get them fixed. They were “fixed” but now the nails are uneven in size. My mother got her nails done here as well but by a different tech but hers turned out a lot better. I will not return here and I suggest you don’t go either. It’s a Russian roulette on how well your nails will turn out.

My first visit was for my daughter. They are extremely kind and reasonable for a kids. I was beyond pleased. My daughter was very happy. This was her second Mani&pedi. I noticed the customers and patrons were all very friendly; genuinely sharing in casual conversations and hugs.I have since edited this review (2/21/2018). The initial review was written 6 months prior. The nail techs as far as working on adults . . . average, maybe below average. This is fine for my very young daughter, but for a quality gel manicure dont visit this shop. I had several bleeding fingers from improper cutting of cuticles, and the gel polish was globbed on. i had them remove it in the shop at that moment. i never returned.

Kacey is fantastic. I just moved here a couple months ago and have been to her four times now. I fully intend to continue to see her anytime my hands and feet need some pampering. She is the best, and doesnt back down from my crazy nail design ideas. 😊

I have been going to Pearl Nail & Spa for years to get my nails done. I have never had to wait too long, and they are always courteous and do a wonderful job. My nails always last for 3 weeks. Also, today I went and got them done by Vivian for the first time, and she gave me the BEST massage Ive ever gotten when visiting a nail salon. It was really a 2 for 1 special (nails & massage).

They are courteous, caring about their clients regardless of how long they have been coming to Pearl Nail & Spa.The atmosphere is always inviting and cheerful. I been going to pearl nails for 3 years and I absolutely love the experience. Katie is who I always go to and she is Great at what she does. I have also went to others and they are also good. I never was treated rude so I cant relate to that but I also love the discount card after so many services you receive $10 off. I’ve been there only once. Nail wise the tech did a phenomenal job. However we agreed on a price, when the tech ran my card he had over charged me $10. It was not an accident because when I pointed out he laughed. Check those receipts before signing !!!

I just got my nails done there today and Im totally in love!! Most important part about this place: they are very attentive to customers! I can be a little picky when it comes to my nails and Kate just made sure I was happy before I left! Definitely recommend it.

This salon is extremely slow and racist. I made an appointment for my daughter and me for 12:15 pm. It took 2 hours to finish two pedicures. After my hour long pedicure, I insisted that the person who serviced me service my daughter just to leave. Before my daughter was serviced, I complained that a nail tech took a lady before my daughter who arrived 45 minutes after my daughter. The tech tried to convince me that the lady should be serviced before my daughter because she made her appointment before my daughter made her appointment. I have never heard such a crazy story about appointments. Regardless, my daughters appointment was at 12:15 and the ladys appointment was for 1 PM. All racism put aside, all of the appointments took forever!In addition, this salon doesnt do much of the latest techniques. I made an appointment for chrome nails and a pedicure. When I arrived chrome nails werent even on the menu.This place does have a clean atmosphere!

My son brought me to this Nail Salon on Mother’s Day to receive a full set and a pedicure. The service was great other than my nails looked extremely wide. Therefore I went back to receive a fill in on May 28th. By the 30th I return for a nail repair. A couple days later I had to return again because my nails were lifting. Lifting so bad that it would have cause fungus. Plus several of my nails broke off because the fill in wasn’t done properly. The owner was rude and unprofessional. She lied stating that I was there two weeks ago when she fixed my repair a couple of days prior. I also had my bank statement showing that I was just there for this service. I had to get a second fill in and they charge me for it. I just paid it and know not to return for any future service. The wait time for service was horrible as well. Several customers would come in for service but leave. They had several customers came in without being greeted or wasn’t offer a place to sit. Terrible experience I will never return nor recommend their service to anyone.

It wasnt the best pedicure ever and the experience was awkward... I took my mom for pedicures and after I paid, the woman who did my nails just hovered waiting for a tip. I was waiting to see if my mom had cash and when we did tip them, my pedicurist didnt see it and loudly said you tipped her but not me?! She was with another customer, which was why I put the tip on her station next to her. Why yell at your paying customers even if you didnt get a tip? Sometimes people dont tip and that should be their choice... but I did tip...About the nails- they used three coats on two nails only and my nails actually look like they were painted with two different colors. Also they didnt allow enough dry try between coats so even though I sat under their drying lamps and fan for 10 minutes and walked around barefoot for an hour, the pedicure was still ruined when I put my shoes on later in the day. Never going back here.

Will never go back. Had dipping powder, powder was stuck under my nails and she did not clean around my nails or shape them.

So I wont be back. Technician couldnt be bothered to say hello, was on a cell phone call the entire time. Her lack of attention made her nip me with the cuticle scissors twice. I walked out. Such ridiculously poor service. Didnt even notice me wince either time.

They rushed my manicure when the salon only had two others in the shop. My polish has air bubbles and the coating is not even. The gel got under my nail and overall was not a good experience...Im not going back

My initial visit to this shop was pleasant and I liked the way Vicki did my nails. A few weeks later I returned for a fill- in and made appointments for my teen daughters. First, I wasnt happy that although I booked with Vicki, my girls were serviced by other techs. One of the techs (the owner) did a horrendously awful full set on one of my daughters nails. The shape was boxy and not at all what she wanted and The gel polish which was looked like a toddler applied it, peeped as soon as we left. I was so upset that I had paid for all three of us before her nails were finished, so I called Vicki outside to discuss my dissatisfaction. While talking to Vicki, my daughters tech identified herself as the owner came outside and started arguing with me. Wth, HOW CAN YOU ARGUE WITH A CLIENT WHEN, YOUR WORK IS EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY?!!! It wasnt about the money I spent it was about principal and acknowledging and taking responsibility for her horrible work. Later, I sent Vicki the pictures of the peeling gel polish and the real owner, a male contacted me and told me they would fix her nails. I came in the next day and was told that Vicki was not allowed to fix the nails that another tech had to do it. I suppose the owner was upset that I complained to Vicki. Anyway. I no longer feel comfortable in that shop especially around that so called owner. Plus they have roaches crawling around. I saw one on the massage chair next to me as I was getting a pedicure. Darn shame, Vicki, a great tech works in such a poor establishment with such a jerk of a boss.

They dont open on time & there is always a long wait, even with few people there to be serviced. Not my regular spot anyway! Ended up leaving & going down to CoCo salon. Walked in & was serviced right away! A little more expensive, but the atmosphere & service is worth the cost!

I had been there for 2 years so okay well done last minute ..

I had a few hours of free time while my car was being serviced and I needed a fill in. So since Ive seen this shop in the area Ill give them a try. 1/11/19 get fill in with Gel polish. Returned on 1/14/19 to have a chip on my thumb nail repolished. On 1/16 had to return to get the same thumb and index repolished because the paint was chipping. Now usually when I get the Gel polish it lasts for at least 3 weeks. Sorry but I cant use their services any more... Today I have chip polished nails at least 2 on each hand 1/24/19

Terrible experience. My pedicure was horrible, the, I believe owner, Kevin cut my toe nails very low. Like they look like a nail biters fingers low. He cut into cuticle very deeply. I told him 5 times before finally leaving. I also asked him to keep them square, and he rounded them out, which I guess doesn’t matter since he cut them so low. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I will never set foot in that place again. They haven’t been the same since Vicki left. The last few weeks of summer will have to be in closed toed shoes.

The gentlemen was pleasant. Upon my arrival I requested an abstract design on my big toes Once the guy completed the pédicure,the young lady came over from working on a client to paint the designs. No washing hands no communication or eye contact. Three black lines and five white dots. You like ! I assume that was a question . No I dont ! .The guy was told to remove the design. My feet back to her client. No washing hands .Nasty ! Lack of courtesy communication and customer service. What a first time expérience ! The rushing and not honoring the customers request that will be first and last visit. Very concerned about the lack of sanitation.

I went in after work (without an appt.) just to get a quick manicure because my other polish was chipping. I was greeted and wrote my name down and picked out my polish. All the polish looked funny to me- kind of watery. As soon as I picked my polish, I was seated and the guy at the front counter started doing my nails. He was rough with my nails and was distracted by his phone ringing and answering. While he was filing my nails, he cut me with the nail file! Right under the nails...its still sore. He didnt even notice and I didnt notice any pain or bleeding until he started applying the polish and he applied it poorly. The watery-looking nail polish was supposed to be white and it came out basically translucent on my nails after two coats. If I wanted clear polish, I could have done it at home for free. This is not worth the $12, and I will never go back.

Walk in and they told me it was going to be 15 mins, which by looking at your customers on the pedicure chair and two technician was impossible. One the technician swiftly seated me the only open chair and began filling the tub of hot water that I couldnt put my feet in. She drained the water and another two patrons entered. 20 mins later she asked me if I could wait until she took one of the other patrons. I absolutely livid and walked out, I have been there a couple of times and today was the worst experience.

Waxed my eyebrow. Very disappointed with the result. Threading is way better. They accept cash only. I didnt have cash that day so I told the lady to get her tip from the owner when they charge minimum of $10 on credit.

Really love this place. The staff is friendly and gentle. My favorite person is Kevin. I went there with a deep small cut by my nail and he was gentle and careful around it. They give you are card and date it, after youve gone 5 times, the next time is free. The only thing that I dont like about them is that they tend to really push gel nails, which is $30. Dishing out that money every 2 weeks is a little much.

Pls do not go here I would never rate them even a 1 star please do not go to miyalna she will totally disrespect you and stereotype you I asked for long she gave me short because you assumed I could not pay for them I left the nail shop with 4 different shape nails. She doesn’t take her time and very very rude I asked for a manger I told them what happened and they laughed and spoke in they language I felt embarrassed and humiliated by it . Save yourself the time and NEVER go there.Service is slow and terrible.I went 4 times hoping the experience would change and it just became worse and WORSE.The last time I was there, they tried to blame me for their mistakes.I asked for a gel manicure but they gave me regular polish by mistake. When it Got messed up the next day they didn’t fix all my nails, only the few that were messed up . Then when the new gel polish color didn’t match the regular polish color they tried to tell me I was wrong and told them the wrong information.I finally asked to get all the polish off so I could leave and they informed me they wouldn’t even give me my money back.

Worst experience of my life. Was in the chair for an hour and 40 minutes and I still have to co.e back tomorrow so that they can fix all of their mistakes. Others around me were having problems with quality of work as well. Still made me pay full price even though my nails werent finished. They dont even deserve 1 star but i had to put something.

I went on Saturday to get my gel set and tips removed. I had an event to go to the next day so asked for a manicure and regular polish. I asked for regular polish due to having surgery the following week and wanted to be able to remove the polish myself. The polish started chipping and peeling the next day. I went Monday after to ask for a refund. The gentleman I talked said they dont do refunds. He just said he can polish my nails again. I told him due me having surgery and would have to take it off I didnt want new polish. He asked did I regular or gel polish. Told him I got regular polish he tried to tell him that is the reason why. I told him in all my years getting my nails done I never seen regular polish chip and peel the very next day. I just asked him to remove the remaining polish. I will never go to this place again to get my nails done.

Place is too small, employees talk too much to each other and not paying enough attention to customers; and the biggest thing.....they thin their fingernail polish. I didnt want to believe it when it was told to me by a friend. I kept going being loyal to my technician, even though I started to notice some things; but today my eyes were opened. It looks like the polishes have been sitting on the shelves too long; but they are putting something in it so they wont have to buy polish frequently. This place makes a lot of money and the satisfaction of your customers is not worth fresh polish. Now I see why I see people bring in their own nail polish; they shouldnt have to do that. I received the normal two coats of polish and my nails still were not dry after sitting under the dryer for a half hour. Normally, I sit fifteen minutes, tops; and my nails are dry. I asked Nhi, why is it taking so long, something is not right with this polish; of course you get crickets...but I knew by her silence something was wrong. It wasnt the brand (OPI) because Ive been using the brand for years without any problems. Anyway, today was my last day there. I will take my money and tip to another nail salon that values me as a customer; and not just hording me in like cattle......AND clearly not putting the money back into the shop. What a rip off; and shame on the owners.

I went for a relaxing mani/pedi experience, and was relieved when my nails were dry enough that I could finally leave.My nail technician was fine: efficient, if a little aggressive. But there was one other person there who asked that some things be fixed with her nails, who was clearly frustrated with her whole experience. I assume she didn’t tip, because when her technician saw the receipt, he went into a very long, loud rant. He was pacing and gesticulating, sitting in the chair apparently mimicking a customer. I kept waiting for it to end, but it lasted the entirety of my manicure, which was about 20 minutes.It was painfully unprofessional and intimidating. I hoped one of the other two technicians would get him to stop, and maybe they tried, but not successfully.

If i could give a ZERO on the rating I would. This place is under new management and they have terrible service. They have you wait without any courtesy. When i was there my feet was in the bowl for a hour, the lady wet me with the spray that is connected to the bowl. Then didnt think i deserve a discount. AWFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL...I would never go back there AGAIN.

OK, Im as picky as they get when it comes to my manis and pedis. I also followed Kate there from another salon and have stayed there for several reasons even though shes gone; service, price, location and convenience. I am particularly fond of their policy that if your gel manicure chips within two weeks, the repair is free. Ive only had to go back for a repair twice in one year, which qualifies as amazing, particularly for a picky consumer.My experience there has been great at every turn. If you dont speak up during a service about something that is happening, isnt if your fault if your dissatisfied with the outcome. I prefer to get my eyebrows threaded too, so I would not expect the same result with waxing...is that the salons fault. I only use debit/credit cards to pay for my transactions at Pearl all the time, and include my tips on them.Im still a fan.

I have been going to that nail salon for more thana year now and everything was fine. But today I got disgusted. I was sitting with my girlfriend waiting on our nails to dry when another customer walk to us and tell us that one employee (the chubi one) were gossing about us with her customer. I dont even understand what they could be gossing about? How our feet or our nails look like or our accents? That is disgusting and rude. We are the clients and we deserve some respect. I am never going back there again. I dont do business with people who dont respect themselves.
