I was very disappointed with the service I received. My nails were very poorly filed and barely even sanded. The gel polish was applied in such a thick layer that my nails seem completely deformed now.

Always love them. Tom does my nails all the time. They are never crowded and they get you in and out.

O My Gosh.Cut the TV off!!Two of us spent $140..I got a pedicure and French polished gel nail and my friend just got a pedicure...Thomas watched TV the whole time.I still had calluses on my feet.French nail polish with gel was a disaster..The gel was all over the skin around my toe nails.I went back the next day and they tried to blame it on me😒

Great experience - Mai Lee (spelling?) is awesome, so gentle but still manages to leave my hands and feet totally relaxed. My nails look fantastic and, as I said, Im totally relaxed.Prices are very fair and, depending on time of day/day of week, you can usually get in same day and at the time you want. Most weekday mornings, you can walk in and be taken care of with just a short wait. 🙂

Lee nails is the absolute best!!!! Especially for military personnel because they KNOW ALL THE REGULATIONS on nails! They are quick and the quality of their work Is excellent! I get my eyebrows done their as well and I’m always satisfied!!!!!!! And not to mention the nail salon is right outside the gate at Ft Jackson

Had a great experience here! Thomas did my nails and made sure that I always got what I needed and what I wanted. Very nice people and I didnt have to wait at all. Prices are normal, I got gel acrylic full set and it was $45 which is a good price as my nails are perfect! I have also gotten SNS dip powder here as well and they turned out good and lasted a while. Thomas was very attentive to detail and made sure to caution me on how acrylics can effect my nails, I highly recommend him!

I walked in and felt like I had finally found the nail salon for me. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and my nails looked great. Not even a week after getting them done the tips started popping off, one by one. One popped off while changing a diaper, one when I moved a blanket & not when I was scanning my items in Sams Club (using the handheld scanner). Today I went back determined he would fix them. This isn’t the first time I’ve had my nails done but he insisted it was fault and I needed to be more careful. In all the years I’ve gotten my nails done, never have I had one break because I was changing a diaper. I found it incredibly rude and frustrating that he was we talking to me like I was five. I honestly won’t go back.

Come here for a monthly pedicure. It is clean and well kept. As well as having super friendly staff. The wait time is never too long and they take walk-ins. Also is well ventilated so no strong smells which is great for my currently pregnant self.

I called ahead so there was no wait time for me. The place is a little dated but it’s a lot more spacious than the Lee nails about a mile down the road. Not as professional, and the packages don’t include much, but it is family owned and ran, so it’s a bit more laid back than I’m used to. They seem understaffed, so if you’re wanting to get in and get out, make an appointment. Towards the end, the guy rushed through my pedicure but it still came out spectacularly so I won’t complain. A solid alternative to my regular place.

Thomas did my nails the first two times. First time was excellent, just basic French tips. Second time, I got the first set removed, and I had to ask him to soak my nails after ten minutes of trying to pry them off and me wincing in pain. He still tried prying for another five minutes before finally soaking them off. But again, the manicure itself was excellent. So when it was time for those nails to come off, I went and bought my own acetone to soak them off at home because that was miserable. The third and most recent time I saw another guy within the shop, didnt catch his name. He was super friendly, we had a nice conversation. He did a horrible job on my nails. I asked for almond and he apparently didnt understand what I wanted so I ended up with uneven nails that are somewhere between almond and oval shaped. Like, I did a better job myself with cheap Kiss press ons at getting the right shape and I have no clue what Im doing. And it wasnt hard either. I dont want to spend $45 on uneven nails and pain.

The place is nice but its no workers. I waited 1 1/2 hours and still didnt get my nails done. Its best to make an appointment or you will not be serviced.(update) 08/28/2017 I Went back to get a full set with regular acrylic and regular polish and I was told that him and his wife only specialize in gel polish and that I need to come back on Wednesday. As I proceeded out the door I thought back to the last time I was there and I saw him do a lady and her friend nails and toes with regular polish that she brought from home his only complaint to her was that he didnt like her polish because the brush on the polish made it difficult for him to use the polish. Now Im stuck with a gift card for this nail shop that I cant use because I keep getting turned away. This place needs to be shut down... I didnt know you had to specialize in using regular nail polish. You will only get serviced if you let them do what they want to your nails which will be the highest price they have available. I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS PLACE. Not sure if this is a race issue but they are definitely false advertising what all they do here. This place need to be investigated immediately!!!

They are always professional and do exceptional work. Great pedicures and shellac polish jobs. Great gel nail sets. Perfect eye brow waxing, and all for decent pricing. Its the only shop that I come to in Columbia.

Where do I begin. As it relates to customer service it needs more attention. When I read some of the other negative reviews, I cant help but provide insight on my experience and observation. Kayla is extremely nice and very customer service oriented. As for Thomas, he appears to have a negative attitude towards African American patrons unless they are spending more than $65 in having a gel or shellac manicure/pedicure service. I have heard him tell African American patrons over the phone and in person that they do not do regular polish which is not the truth. Afterall, if it is being advertised on your website and on the sign in your store, you must either change your sign or perform the advertised service. In fact, his mother (who is extremely sweet, by the way) is the technician who does only regular nail polish. I understand wanting to advertise for services that will generate more revenue, but false advertisement at the expense of African-Americans is ludicrous and absurd. I would recommend that, as many of you that have had this issue with this location, or any other location, advertising a service and advising that such service is not offered, bring a class-action lawsuit. It appears the only way to make businesses understand that fair treatment is required in this Country, regardless of your sentiments towards any race, is the law, not an option.

I am a lawyer and busy wife so my time is very valuable! I love that they honor my appointments, make it easy to make appointments online, and move quickly while in shop. Customer service is great, staff is friendly, and I get compliments on my nails and eyebrows everywhere I go! I could get my nails done anywhere, but I will always return to Lee Nails because of the fabulous service!

Me and my mom have been going here for maybe a year or two and each time I feel so welcome, you must come here good business and good people. Me and my mom feel so welcome each time we come in. I just finished getting a gel manicure and pedicure from Lee Nails. My technician was multitasking throughout both my manicure and pedicure. He seemed to be the only person that would answer the phone for the business. Because of this, he carelessly scrubbed my foot too hard and made my toe bleed. He was paying so little attention that I had to exclaim Hey - blood - stop! before hed stop all the tasks he was doing and tend to my foot. Ive never bled at a pedicure before and I wont ever again, because I WILL NOT be going to Lee Nails. Hopefully I wont get a flesh eating bacteria, because the cleanliness of the salon was also sub par. My pedicure is ruined, because I have to wear a band-aid. I also did not receive any discount for my technicians carelessness.

The first time I went to this place I got acrylic on my toes only and some nail polish and paid over $70 I said I was never going back!! So the place we usually go to is closed on Monday and we always forget so my boyfriend said oh let’s go to this one... I had already had and over price experience but I still went to get only a manicure not knowing that 15 min after I sat down I would be done with my nails looking the same way!!! Btw as well as my boyfriends nails... the cuticle on the nails were still there and we still had to pay 35$ no skin was cut off or anything... DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK EVER!!

Ive been coming here for quite a while now. Thomas and his wife Kayla always do a great job! Anytime I have a problem they will fix it. Thomas is also great with designs and gel color. I highly recommend this salon to those looking for a great experience. I live 45 min away and by pass 4 closer nail salons just to come here!

I have only been going here for a few months but I can definitely see myself as a lifetime customer. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is inviting. Wish there was more chairs in the waiting areas. Other than that its worth the wait and your money.

So the craziest thing about my experience is I actually never step foot in the shop I called to set an appointment to get a acrylic fill-in. I was asked will I be getting gel nail polish along with the fill-in. I replied no I usually bring my own nail polish I was then told by the gentleman on the phone that they only do acrylic nails with the gel nail polish.. 🤔😒really!!!! Well let just say Im happy I call first and didnt go all that way to be disappointed.

I have been going here on and off for about a year to get my pedicure and eyebrows done. I love how the young lady does my eyebrows and so does everyone else based on the many compliments I receive after going there. The pedicure is okay. I usally just get polish no tips or anything like that. So I would say I havent had any bad experiences with them and its the only place I go in Columbia.

Went to this place because the reviews were great. My experience, not so much!! Paid for the shellac polish manicure because the tech said it would last longer. Within an hour the polish lifted completely off of my thumb nail. Went back today and they fixed it for me(no charge) now, a few hours later, the rest are coming up. A complete waste of my time, gas and money!!! Will not be visiting again!

I rarely review but I had to in this instance. Literally the WORST manicure Ive ever had. Shouldve stuck with OCCO. When I walked in I was just stared at as though I was inconveniencing them. It was like having a 4 year old paint my nails... He didnt put the gel close to my nail bed which makes it already look grown out. Or when he DID reach my cuticles... He coated them with the paint which is now peeling away and off of my nail. It hasnt even been 30 minutes. 😡 DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Anywhere else, really.

I have been going here for 2 years... simply because the eyebrow lady is awesome. If it wasnt for her i would have stopped going here the very first day I walked in. The owner/husband Thomas is extremely rude. I have put up with it and just simply had as little contact with him. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I will no longer be going here and I will turn away anyone that asks me about this place. Every time you go in there is an outrageous wait. So they told me to make an appointment. I started making appointments and the wait time was cut down but still long. So they told me to come in on a week day. I scheduled an appointment at 12 and he called me at 11:30 to ask me to reschedule because they were getting busy. I told him i couldnt reschedule and needed to keep my appointment. I was not see until 12:30pm. The eyebrow lady asked me why wasnt i in a good mood. I explained to her... you told me make an appointment i made an appointment you told me dont come on the weekend i am coming on the weekday and I still had to wait 30 minutes. When i left the salon the owner called me, yelling at me asking why did i tell his wife that i had an appointment he tried to call me and reschedule blah blah blah. He told me i didnt have to come there if i didnt like it...whatever it is. He is horrible, i have never met such a rude person in my life. He is very mean and for that I will never be returning to this establishment. Kayla is great, sweet and great at what she does. It is bittersweet because she is so awesome, but i cant be subjected to such a rude individual and Im a paying customer. I have had enough of his verbal abuse.

This was my first visit at this place and I WILL NOT be returning. Their prices on the wall are not what they charge for services. He kept adding on as we continued my fill-in. How do you charge a $5 polish removal fee for gel nails on top of the fill-in price? Then an extra $5 because my nails were round and I didn’t want them filed square. $40 for a gel fill-in is ridiculous when the new set cost that much. His wife knew he was over charging because she dropped the price and when he heard her, he started yelling and fussing at her in their language and she apologized and Said sorry I have to go back to normal price. The whole experience was horrible and I’m never going back. They don’t even deserve a star.

I been going here for a while and I normally dont have problems. Today, there is a problem. I got my eyebrows done and I told the lady I want them thick just to clean the area up. I have thin eyebrows now and I am pist! I spoke with someone else and they said just let them grow back. You just dont know what I wanted to say. However, I was told when I come back ask for Kim and she will take care of it. NOT HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS AT ALL!

This was my first visit to Lee Nails. I absolutely loved it! My feet look great. I can’t remember the last time that my toe nails were painted to perfection. I’m extremely happy and will continue to come here while I am in town and when I return. My mother brought me here and if she says this place is awesome-you best believe it! Never going back again. My mom and I only went to the salon because our regular salon was packed, off the back his customer service was negative then he said they only do gel polish ( which was a lie because his mom who was the only nice, friendly one used regular polish for my moms pedicure) next was the fact he had me sit in the seat next to him the started barking out orders for me to do ( he barked for me to have my mom pick her color and sit at a station, when I returned to my seat he ordered me to have her move the polish from one side to another then again he ordered me get up to go pick what kind of pedicure she want ) like my mother was ignorant, incompetent or he just didn’t want to address her for some reason. Then after all that I then found out they didn’t even know how to do a fill in for my nails . The shop is overpriced honestly to be so mediocre compared to today’s trends and modern nails services. Last time ever going.
