I arrived at 4:45pm for 5pm appointment. I was scheduled for an acrylic fill with gel polish...I left at 7:15pm...shouldnt have been but an hour appointment. The lady started on my toes and had wrapped my fingers in foil to get the gel polish off. After she finished my toes she started working on my finger nails. She had soaked my acrylics completely off! So she had to put a new set on....they turned out crooked, too long, too sharp, and left with sore fingers.As I sat there I got to looking around and noticed how dirty the nail salon was. It looked like they hadnt clean the floors in a week. The stations were messy and not clean. They did not wipe stuff down well between customers.Im highly disappointed with how my nails turned out and with the cleanliness of the nail salon. I will not be returning.

Went in for the first time to get dip powder nails done and had Nencey. I could tell she didnt care because she was aggressively filing my nails which was pretty painful. In my experience, the dip powder finish is supposed to be soft and smooth, but mine were very bumpy because she didnt seem to be putting in much effort. Its sad because I heard great things.. but the experience was far from great.

If you’re in search of a new nail place in CoMo, I would 10/10 recommend Florida Nails & Sam! I had never been here before but will definitely be back. Everyone is so nice & they had me in and out very quickly for a decent price!

I called about an hour or two before they closed just in dire need of a pedicure. They were kind and accepted my walk-in. Even though they were close to closing by the time I got here, I was welcomed and treated amazing. I wasn’t rushed and neither was the process. Even though these employees had to stay a little later to finish up my appointment, they were so positive and upbeat. I can say with confidence that I throughly enjoyed my experience. I think I’ve found my new nail place, and will definitely be coming again. Thank you Florida Nails! 💅🏻❤️🌴

I wish I could post a photo of my nails. The nails look great, but almost all of my cuticles have scabs on them. I don’t know what he did, but they still burn any time I wash my hands, face, hair, etc. I thought I finally found somewhere in CoMo that I liked, but guess I’m still searching. 2/10

Sam is awesome! Everyone working here is super friendly and helpful. Ive always had a good experience and my nails always look beautiful! Prices are comparable to other places in the area. I would recommend Florida nails. They accept walk ins but they are very popular so definitely call ahead if you can!

I have got my nails done there for the first time 12/18, they generally do appointments which I was not aware of so i was a walk in appointment. Sam took care of me, it was my first time getting coffin shaped nails. They turned out absolutely beautiful. That is the only reason for my two star rating.As of 12/22 one of my nails started chip, and the tip literally started to fell off. Between 12/23-12/25 four more nails chipped and fell off. I called in on 12/26 because I heard they repair chipped nails free of charge.I told the tech on the phone that all together 5 of my nails have fallen off. He asked me if I use a lot of hand sanitizer? My response was I mean I guess he said its simply yes or no, because if you do that is something we cant control. I was only hesitant with my response because yes i do work in the medical field and I do use hand sanitizer at least 3 times a day at my job but I only worked two days before taking my holiday vacation. So telling me that within 48 hours of using hand sanitizer about 6 times was enough time to make 5 nails fall off, sounded off to me.In addition to the phone conversation that rubbed me the wrong way he said in order to repair my nails they would have charge me for their product but not their time, to be fair he needed to charge me an additional $15.My issue with this, first, being the product being used must be cheap to give results such as this, as I have seen in other poor reviews this is a common trait. A full set is $28 at their salon, generally other salons I have been to a full set is $20-$23 (Lisa Nail shop, Luckys Nail Salon, Regal Nails, as well TC Nails). Also not to mention I have been working the same job for three years using the same hand sanitizer throughout the day and I have never once encountered anything like this or heard of using too much hand sanitizer being an issue. I highly doubt I will ever return or recommend this salon due to poor customer service and cheap acrylic.Below I have provided a picture of what my chipped nail looked like, they all looked exactly the same way this nail did when they broke.

This was my first visit and this salon did not disappoint. Sam did an great job on my pedicure. For my nails, Sam explained that the dip would be better for my nails, and being accustomed to an acrylic overlay, I was a little skeptical. Boy, was he right! My nails look and feel amazing. HECK YES! This place is amazing! SARAH is amazing!! My nails for Pride look amazing! Im so happy I gave this place a chance; the staff was friendly and the place waa clean. Sarah did above and beyond for my nails. 10/10 would def get my nails redone again and again.

It took 2.5 hours to get a pedicure and dip on my nails and cost $70. They put a top coat on over the dip that took a long time to dry. My nails have a grainy texture and smeared. Unfortunately, I do not have time to get them fixed. Employees were nice but the quality was pretty bad.

Kylie was great, she even accommodated my indecisiveness and was extremely nice. She is the reason this place even got a star. When I walked in, the nail technicians literally argued about who was going to be doing nails and failed to answer my questions, told me to be seated and someone would be with me. Anyways, I was going to do dipped nails since I already had some on but I ran out of time (had a wedding that evening and had to leave town) so I decided to do gel nails. So, I got my nails done Saturday 9/15 and last night 9/18, 2 of them chipped. Pissed me off. Today, another nail chipped quite a bit (half of my polish). I have NEVER had a problem with gel nails chipping with the first 2/3 days or within the first week. I Will NEVER go back there. Their gel polish must be the cheapest you can find .

Sam and Sarah are fantastic, Great nails, and excellent customer service. The salon and super clean and it is fantastic to have a scheduled appointment and for it to be on time! Excellent selection of colors and ive never had a nail chip. I will be back for sure.

Terri is amazing

This is by far my favorite nail salon in town. They always have open availability for appointments and theres never a long wait for walk-ins. The staff are personable, pay attention to detail, and never fail to go the extra mile for me. I would highly recommend this salon, and I truly believe that it is a hidden gem on the east side of Columbia.

I have gotten my nails done a million times before and felt just ok/happy with it. I discovered this place Randomly this evening cuz they’re close to my house And OMG! Never been so impressed I’m in love with Sam’s work . He gave me a full set acrylics. Extreme attention to detail. Shaping is perfect. I don’t have the cutest hands to start with but he definitely made me super happy with what i got. I would recommend them ANY DAY. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in town

My first and only time to go to Florida Nails in Broadway was a less than stellar experience. My daughter and I had gone for her birthday and her nails have not even lasted a week!! Mine he really just slopped the polish on and left peaks under my nails. Luckily, I didn’t cancel my appt with my regular salon because these need fixed. He was much more worried about ordering lunch than making sure we had a good experience.

Nency worked very diligently to give me exactly what I wanted and the customer service here is great. Everyone is so friendly and prices are reasonable.

Have never felt so insulted at a salon. Went in for a fix (from a previous salon mess up) and a repolish. The man slapped a tip over the broken ones, put a little acrylic and then slopped polish ON TOP of the existing polish. He wasnt concerned with getting paid because it wasnt his best work and he isnt worried about 20 dollars. In other words, my business wasnt important enough for him to do a through job and do it the correct way. If I didnt have the money to pay I wouldnt have went. I would have GLADLY PAID SOMEONE TO DO THE JOB CORRECTLY. I will NEVER go to this place again and definitely wont refer anyone here.

I’ve only been to Florida Nails on Broadway three times and the first two times I went I had Terry (I think?) and she is great! However, the most recent time I went there I had someone different and he was very rude, wasn’t really listening to what I had to say, wouldn’t stop talking about politics, and now 4 days after I get gel nails they’re already peeling off. I’ve never had gel nails peel that quickly and I’m super disappointed.

I Had a terrible experience here. Really bad customer service. I got a full set of nails and they looked terrible. So bad I wouldnt even go back to have them redone for free. I Had to go somewhere else.

Great experience... made the appointment, was seen at the right time, pedicure massage was amazing 😉 ... the massage chairs are an essential part of the pedicure! Those chairs are the main reason I don’t just paint my own toenails... that- plus feeling spoiled and having someone else do it for a fair price! When my artist made a small mistake she promptly corrected it and made her client leave happy!! BTW: this review is a full month after my pedi... I wish my toenails grew faster because the REGULAR polish stayed so well that I’m only going back for a trim and new polish cause my nails grew out so there’s fresh (unpainted) nail to be seen and I’m ready to be pampered again... I don’t think I’ll even change my color 💅💅👌🏼❤️👍🏼
