We picked all in stock items and they were installed within 5 business days. We re did all the floors in our home so we used carpet, tile and vinyl plank flooring. It all came out amazing and we are very happy with the service and craftsmanship we received. Would highly recommend!

I hired A Plus to install engineered wood flooring in my basement and Shaw oak hardwood flooring throughout my home. The first part of the project went smoothly. Two of their regular installers did a great job installing Mirage engineered wood flooring in the basement/family room. Unfortunately, I was informed the day before installation of the hardwood flooring, that a “different team” would be used. This different team turned out to be a subcontractor “Mario” and his crew. In all 5 of these workmen showed up at my house and were allowed to install the hardwood flooring unsupervised.There are significant issues with the quality of the installation. Most notably gaps were left between the stair rail and flooring and there are numerous gaps and cracks between the planks throughout the house. Even more concerning some planks are tented, i.e. not laid flat, at the back corner of a bedroom, as if there is was not enough space.After initially agreeing to reinstall some of the flooring, Eric has apparently decided to apply wood putty in the middle of my floors to cover up wide gaps. Wood putty was also used to fill the gaps between the flooring and stair rail. I will now have to pay another contractor to fix the mess left by Mario’s guys. I hold A Plus fully responsible for this fiasco.In response to A Plus’ claim that these cracks and gaps which I discovered within a few days of installation were caused by varying levels of humidity in my home, the humidity level was approx. 30 percent April 6 when the flooring was installed. In the following weeks, the levels were in the mid 40 to mid 50 percent range and temperatures in the 70s. Thus I do not believe the assertion that drastic changes in temperature and humidity caused expansion and then contraction of the wood and the various cracks and gaps is a credible one. They were clearly caused by improper work. Oh and BTW I have 10 year old wood flooring installed by the builder which has never expanded and contracted to the point of visible gaps in the flooring.The purportedly unbiased inspection report published by Eric contains a number of demonstrably false statements apparently intended to benefit the installer. (Gee, I wonder how that happened.) The humidity levels are no more unstable in my home than in any other home.The report falsely states that my home has no dehumidifier. Just like about every other modern home, I have central A/C and maintain a temperature of 77 during warmer weather and humidity levels range from the upper 40s to low to mid 50s according to my google nest smart thermostat.gaps between planks of hardwood flooring may appear during periods of very low humidity, such as occur in winter. This is because of contraction of the wood as it loses moisture.In any case, there were no wildly fluctuating humidity levels in my home which within approximately one week could possibly have caused the multitude of gaps in the floor. Clearly the gaps are due to poor workmanship and improper installation.In addition to his absurd claim, Eric makes a number of false statements personally attacking me, including unreasonable demands regarding scheduling work, unbalanced temperament and even making racial remarks (!!!). These lies are intended to distract from his denial of responsibility for the shoddy work.He accuses me of blackmail and calls himself a “proud American” but he’s just a contractor denying responsibility for shoddy work. Believe what you see. It is the truth.

I recently had a new hardwood floating floor put down in the main living area of our home. We were so pleased with the job that A Plus Carpet & Flooring did! The crew was a pleasure to have in the house - so polite and caring! We love the job they did of removing the old floor and laying the new one. Clean up was very nicely done, too. We have already asked them to come back and do another room. I highly recommend their work.

A Plus Carpet and Flooring installed luxury vinyl tile in our foyer, and we love it! William was a pleasure to work with, professional and friendly. He helped me narrow my choices in the showroom and the one he recommended was the one we liked the best. He also came to the house to measure and estimate the job. Mario was in charge of the installation and did fantastic work! He explained the process and patiently answered my many questions. Karolinne in the office expertly handled our account. I was very pleased with this company and would absolutely use them again.

I recently used A+ to install flooring in our house. Overall, it was a decent job, but not sure I would use them again TBH. I think the customer experience couldve been better. Lucas, the design consultant, came and measured our space. He sent a quote and after some consideration, we went forward with our deposit and set a date for the work. Nicole, their project manager, helped coordinate the installers. I didnt really interact with her a whole lot although I thought she would be more integral to the project. Alex and his crew installed the floors, and they worked hard and did a decent job. There were a few areas where the install couldve been better (creaking plank, tighter gaps, etc), but theyre minor issues at the end of the day. The challenge for me re: customer service has to do with the few times I had questions or issues that I felt werent resolved, and Lucas saying that he would find and call me back - which he never did. It happened on 2 occasions - one related to the final charge and one related to personal items related to our move that were used by their crew. I guess it wouldve been nice to have gotten that follow-through.

After reading reviews on yelp I decided to give A Plus carpet a try, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My first contact was with the salesman Lucas who came to do the measurements and give me the estimate which is very competitive I found him to be very honest and always willing to answer questions and making sure everything went smoothly. Next to Installer‘s who came to the house Adolfo and Hugo two of the hardest working individuals I’ve ever met in my life they were very thorough when it came to moving furniture.While installing the carpet they were extremely meticulous and did a superb job. These two individuals really cared about doing quality work and making sure I was happy with what they did. Without any hesitation I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who might be interested in flooring in the future you just can’t go wrong they treat you like family, and they go out of their way to make sure You’re 100% satisfied with the work.

A Plus chose the right company name because they are the best, we have used them for over 20 years and couldnt be any happier. They have done major carpeting and hardwood flooring projects at both our home and beach house. We have recommended them to our neighbors and friends and they had great experiences also. The best part is the owner is a hands on in the field worker.

I had my carpet cleaned by Thomas, who did an exceptional job! You can see from the before and after photos I have attached that he had his work cut out for him, and I wasnt sure the carpet could ever get much cleaner. Thomas was very courteous and efficient, and should be commended for a job well done. I would gladly recommend A+ Carpet for a flooring cleaning to everyone!

Not recommended. Been waiting for an estimate from them with nothing but an excuse that their system was in maintenance as the reason they didnt send it 2 days ago. Dont promise an estimate when your colleagues tell me that its your day off. If the system was down that means the estimate was finished. I dont deal with childish excuses and sadly this guy ruined my impression of a local business. Another company had me a quote in a day, Im sure it doesnt take 3 days with their special software that was talked about. The original employee knew nothing about the products and we were about to leave when someone with experience came to save the day. Sadly the same lack of experience just lost this company a sale as I have no faith in their ability to follow through. If I were them, this employee would not be interfacing with the public.

Theres an old saying about companies in the service sector: quality, cost, schedule - pick any two. A Plus Carpet and Flooring not only delivered all three, but did so exceptionally. Salesman was very nice and installers are very efficient, only found out a year later that the engineering wood floor they sold me was not the quality I bought. The floor was filled with pressed Cardboard in the middle.

I am so happy I called them! They rearranged their schedule to fit me in and accommodate my last minute request. The technician was prompt, professional and efficient. He did outstanding job cleaning the carpet and when he was done it looked as good as a new. They saved me thousands of dollars and got the work done in matter of hours!!! I couldn’t be any happier of the outcome. It was such a pleasure working with them we hired them to replace the carpet in our new home. Once again, every single person we’ve worked so far in the process of selecting and scheduling the carpet replacement has been amazing. Lucas Winter drove to our property to drop carpet samples when we couldn’t make it to the show room. He let us keep them for days to take our time to select the carpet without feeling pressured or rushed. He worked timelessly to find us a comparable carpet when the one we loved was discontinued by the manufacture. The list goes on and on … We can’t say enough good things for both their cleaning and their replacement departments!! Professionalism at its finest!

When shopping we wanted vinyl planks on our basement steps. They swore it would work, and it mostly has, though the noses get loose. Evidently the humidity plays a factor which we didnt know at the time. Their customer service and attention to satisfaction is second to none; they will go above and beyond to make customers happy. In fact I have been working with the owner directly on this issue and was given his personal contact info. I would not recommend vinyl planks in your basement, though I can vouch for this companys extreme dedication to happy, satisfied customers.

The owner, Eric, is an absolute pleasure to work with and a true perfectionist - his goal is to make his customers 100% happy and satisfied, and offers the best of the best products! A rep came out to do an estimate for carpet re-stretching and I never heard from them again. Never got my estimate and no reply to my email.

Should’ve done it sooner.A Plus came back to do some finishing touches. Trim work odds and ends…they didn’t have all the (finishing) materials at the time of the main job due to supply chain challenges (not their fault). They kept us well informed, came back, finished the job, and went above and beyond knocking out some details we would have never even noticed. They earned ever word of this review and every penny for their work.

Im giving 3 stars considering this to be a C rating. We had both hardwood and carpet installed. The floors look nice but the carpet does not meet the wood as it was supposed to and the transitions installed to try and fix the problem have broken. Good products offered at fair prices but if problems develop, our experience has been these folks are very hard to pin down and fix things. They promise theyll take care of problems immediately, but they definitely have not done so for us.

The carpet install crew was polite and professional. The new carpet looks great. They also pitched in with their sliders to move the heavy old safe back into the closet once the steam clean guy had the closet done. When the steam cleaner guy arrived he quickly and professionally did his job.

As a residential architect, I see a whole spectrum of quality of workmanship in the construction industry. When I needed my own floors refinished due to a plumbing leak, one of my builder clients recommended Eric. He was the perfect choice! Not only did I get the excellent quality of work I expected, with careful and painstaking attention to detail, but Eric and his team provided a whole lot more.Care about us as people, and about minimizing the disruption to our lives that the work entailed, was evident in every member of the team, from Eric himself to the project manager to the people doing the work. We are selling our house and needed to replace very old carpet. Our realtor recommended A Plus and from start to finish they were great. We decided on the carpet, they came out to measure, then we scheduled the work to be done later, near the very end of Operatipn House Prep. A few days before we confirmed details. The crew called before arriving, worked harder than i have seen anyone work, and finished a bit ahead of schedule. It was a big job, took two days, and i have to admit when only three guys showed up i wasnt sure two days was enough. But no problem. They were helpful, professional and courteous, even when we had people come to pick up large pieces of donated furniture and kind of got in their way. I was very impressed and am glad we chose A Plus.

We are getting ready to sell our home and needed the carpets cleaned so they would look nice in the listing photos. Going in, we knew our carpets were disgusting because they had not been professionally cleaned in over 10 years and had many deep stains that were the result of two dogs and a baby. Our real estate agent recommended A Plus Carpet & Flooring and we were very happy with the results!Although the communication throughout the process could have been slightly better, the owner more than made up for it in the end at, at the end of the day, the carpets look amazing and thats the most important thing. I would keep in mind that the carpets may dry a lot slower than you anticipate because of a number of mitigating factors (including the weather outside, if you have fans in your house, and how bad your carpets are), but ask for the list of suggestions they provide for how to expedite the process and plan accordingly (i.e., be prepared to come home from work and the carpets are still damp). However, the tech did a great job in our house, removing 90% of all the stains in their entirety and honestly doing the best he could with the others, so between the price (cheaper than everyone else we called) and the results, I highly recommend A Plus Carpet & Flooring!

I love love my floors. I received 3 different quotes from different flooring companies and this beat all the other prices by a few hundred dollars. The installers did an excellent job! We chose a carpet that we had installed in our previous home, so we knew it was of good quality. The purchase and measuring experience was fine. The installer arrived in a timely manner on the arranged day, and the removal of the old carpet and treatment for cat urine went smoothly. The installer worked diligently and checked carefully and replaced some of the carpet tacking which had been damaged. The carpet was installed in a bedroom and a split staircase with a landing. The installation went quite well. The installer was courteous and respectful, cleaned up the area, and was pleasant. The new carpet is very nice (Mohawk) and there is a noticeable difference between the new carpet/pad, and the older carpet/pad which is still in place in other areas waiting to be replaced with tile. I would recommend this business.

A Plus was the last place we went to look for new carpet. I am so glad my wife said - since we were out - might as well see what they have.We had them refinish the hard wood floors and install new carpet while we were on vacation. We came home to new floors. Wow - the guys did a great job. So sorry to have to write this review but after numerous attempts to resolve several issues, I am resigned to the fact my carpet will not be fixed. I WILL give a shout out to a great salesperson and customer service representative, however the mainstay of a carpet dealer is the carpet installation, unfortunately the workmanship of the installers was poor. I have visible seams throughout my upstairs in additional to an area where the initial installer spilled glue on the carpet and an area where the seam separated with a secondary patch which at best is disappointing. During the last visit to correct the issues I was told this is the best it is going to be. Wish we could have worked it out.Update to the previous post: I feel compelled to provide an update as to how Eric handle the situation. Not only did Eric correct the defective carpet but he went above and beyond to make sure I was totally happy with the results. As I told him, my carpet now looks lovely. Eric, you restored my faith in the business men and women of this area with your level of customer service and genuine concern over your clients satisfaction. Well done; I will happily use your company again in the future!

A Plus Carpet cleaned my carpets for years and we finally made he decision that the needed to begin changing our flooring and decided to obtain estimates from A Plus. We worked with Clarke and the experience was great. We had flooring replaced in our kitchen, powder room and hall and the installers were great. Arrived on time, worked diligently and left the areas clean and beautiful. Thank you and we will be back to continue the replacement our the rest of the flooring.

Worked with Jonathan to put together an estimate for new vinyl and carpet. He did a great job explaining the products they had to offer and answered any and all questions I had. We interacted primarily over email and there was no pressure to make a purchase. The price point was great, installation only took a day, and the flooring looks amazing. Selection of hardwoods and tile was plentiful. Installing my new hardwood flooring and also tiling my bathroom floor were done in just 3 days. Installers were very courteous and kept me informed of work being done. Clean up was done meticulously and I was asked if they could move anything else to help. All in all it was a great experience. I was in a weird spot where I needed a very minor carpet repair done. After checking in with all the next day and in-home carpet mega-vendors I was frustrated with their inability to help. Seems all they are interested in is selling you a whole home worth of carpet and they lack the ability to fit your individual needs. I then called A Plus and they were able to hear me out, offer the services I needed and give me an estimate. After getting a totally reasonable estimate and great service from their company I was still unsure that I wanted to spend the money for what is a minor cosmetic issue so I decided to take no further action. When they followed up with me about how I would like to proceed I told them I was unsure of how worth it to me the work was. That was when the companys owner stepped in and reached out to me personally. Eric saw that my family had been past customers and told me he could come to my home on his way into work one day and take a look to see if a better estimate could be made. He kept his word and after assessing the job made me a far more affordable estimate, wherein he took my old remnant to his shop to have it prepped on his own time and sent an installer to do the job quickly.People, this is why I keep my business with a locally owned and operated, family, business. You just cannot get the mega-stores to understand that you have your own individual identity and needs... Also I feel very confident that if I had any further needs for flooring or issues, Ive got a guy in the business who really strives to take care of me on a one-on-one basis. A plus is the best, and I will remain a customer for life! I strongly recommend doing business with with a local and personalized business like A Plus, you cannot be let down.

I had an issue with the company billing me very late and with scuff marks to my new paint job. However, the owner of the company called me personally and we figured out a resolution to my problems.

Had an excellent experience with A Plus. Estimate was done efficiently with detailed email reports and several options. Definitely negotiate for what you would like (they even encouraged it with a price match guarantee). Prices seemed good for the level of carpet you want. Installation so far seems flawless and neatly done. Also had cleaning done in other section which was also done efficiently with friendly service. Overall everything was timely and professional. So far I love how everything turned out!

A-Plus came in at the price the insurance set for pad replacement and re-laying the existing carpet, which means to me they are reasonable and fair. Good customer service. The workmen were polite and although they rescheduled, showed up at the time they said they would. I recommend this company.

My wife and I have used A Plus Carpet & Flooring twice during this year. First, we had the white oak floor in our dining room refinished (wood had been covered by wall-to-wall carpeting with rubber padding for at least 25 years) then our living room wood floor got refinished. Both times, the crew from A PLUS did an outstanding job and we were very pleased with our new-looking wood floors. Prices are reasonable. I thought that I knew what i wanted but after meeting with Eric, he told me to trust his judgement and so happy I did. The flooring looks so much better than I imagined and for less money that I expected. The installers were professional, fast and very polite. Shopping with A+ was a terrific experience all around. There was a wide selection of carpet to choose from and the salesman (Jonathan) was knowledgeable, patient and helpful in the extreme. Last but not least, the Installation crew was top notch. They did a great job in record time. I have already recommended this store to friends here in my community, and will continue to do so without hesitation.

A perfect 5-star experience from start to finish, replacing old carpeting in the finished basement with waterproof vinyl plank flooring. Salesman Jonathan Greeson explained the product options - no pressure, no up-selling - and was out the next day to measure with a detailed price quote following right away. The installation crew headed by David was super and the finished area looks wonderful. Everything was left neat and clean and the installation was done in one day. Thanks to everyone at A Plus!

They did a great job installing our new hardwood floor, but they dont do any touch ups on the scuff marks that they leave on the white risers or the hand prints that they left on the wall. We were told that typically youre supposed to hire a painter to touch up everything afterwards. So were off to buy paint and touch it up ourselves. They also dont give any warnings that they are on their way for the install, so its more of a waiting game with a surprise appearance. Now that we know what to expect, well be more prepared for next time.

I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. I am a picky consumer (somewhat hard to please) and yet was overwhelmed by the excellent customer service and professionalism of this company. We needed the carpets cleaned and repaired in a hurry as a job relocation caused us to put the house on the market very quickly. Eric Rome arranged everything for us. Even when an unseen event happened (apparently stained padding caused a new stain to pop up on the carpet after cleaning) . Eric had a crew out the very next day to fix the issue for us before the photographer got here. And they didnt even own the problem but the came and took care of us right away. AND the carpets look new. Even the repair they did for us on the Berber. You cannot see the seam. Great service, friendly staff, very good price and honest. Cant ask for more!

I cant say enough about A Plus --- Janathan took my order and helped tremendously! After the factory (where all these places get their products from) messed up -- and I mean the factory messed up big time, A Plus were able to track down the correct product I ordered and made sure it was delivered, and my floor installation was done as scheduled that day. I am giving a VERY HUGE shout out to Alex, one of the installers there: he is the best of the best and PERFECT with customer service. He could have left and not completed the job since the factory messed up the order, but he waited/stayed very late to get it done (after the factory corrected their mistake) --- and he gave great suggestions on floor maintenance, what not to do, etc. If you use A Plus, ASK for ALEX. They are lucky to have someone in tuned with products and customer service, which is a rarity in these days.

They did awesome job in my office. It only took 2 days and the place look great. Eric the owner and all his staff are highly professional and they pay attention to detail. They really take care of their customers and they are honest.

The sales person (John) was excellent. He listened to what we wanted and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each flooring solution --- put never pushed us towards a solution.The installation teams showed up on time, worked efficiently, were very courteous, professional, and left with things cleaner than they were to start with.

The store has a great selection of carpets, pads, and wood. Appointments were always kept on time and calls returned promptly. The installers did a good job completing the work as scheduled and cleaning up at the end of the job. I would recommend them if youre getting new flooring.

At every step from initial proposal (that was 28% less than Bode) to installation on a tight schedule ( had to have the theater room ready for the Final Four Weekend) we were impressed with their communication and attention to OUR needs. The crew arrived on time. They restretched and installed my existing carpet with speed and precision. Old seams were re-connected where needed, leaving a neat and professionally-done appearance. Finally, they cleaned the reinstalled carpet, bringing a clean and brighter appearance to 15-year-old carpet. The results were far better than ever expected

I had them recently install carpeting and baseboards in my basement after it had flooded. When I called I spoke to Clark who came out the next day to give a quote. I had to wait a week for the other companies I contacted to come out. Clark by far was the most knowlegable and personable estimators that I dealt with. The quote was presented fully written out detailing all work to be done were as the other companies just told me how much is would cost verbally. The crew who came out to do the install did a great job and completed the work well faster than I had expected. I would highly recommend A plus carpet and flooring to anyone who needs any type flooring installed.

This my second experience with A Plus and that should say it all. I came back because they did great the first time and did not disappoint this time around. You cannot do better for price, quality, service, and professionalism. We have had carpet installed by Lowes, Empire, and another in the past. They do not compare to A Plus.

I hired A Plus to refinish and stain my stair treads and landings. I had a great experience from beginning to end with A Plus. After a less than pleasurable experience with the builder of my home, I called A Plus Carpet for a quote to stretch my carpet. Franklin and his team were polite, helpful, and fair in their price. The installer was on time, friendly and did a great job stretching the carpet, cleaning up afterwards, and even vacuumed the rooms! Overall very professional, trustworthy and great service! I called A Plus (from a recommendation by a neighbor) on a Tuesday and spoke with John about getting a quote for carpet and installation in my basement. I told him I was in a bind and needed it done as soon as possible. John came over 10 minutes after the call ended and came with samples for the different options I had. I selected one and received the quote that night. I called the next morning to move forward but asked if they can install it by Friday at the latest. John worked his magic and probably pulled a few strings and we scheduled for the installation on Thursday.Thursday morning came and a crew of 2 people came and installed the carpet and they were great people too.Everything turned out great from the quote to the unstall.Highly recommended.

I dont usually write reviews, but Keenan and A Plus earned it. Friendly, transparent, and, most importantly, really darn good at what they do. We had them both do a refinishing of some hardwood we thought was a total loss (now the most beautiful floor in the house) and an instillation of LVF in our sun room (perfectly fitted and sealed in a morning, couldnt be happier). Only downside is now were thinking about redoing more of the house... kudos.

I really enjoyed working with all the great people at A Plus Carpet from Clark our salesman, who is hilarious, to the fantastic installers who work like magic moving furniture and laying carpet. I had hardwood installed about 6 years ago by A Plus. My floors still look great but what I remember most is how nice all the people in the company treated me. I needed my loft carpeted, needless to say, I had them come back out to give me an estimate. The price and service were excellent.

Outstanding experience from the free in home estimate to the post installation follow-up.Franklin Maldonado, the operations manager, came to our home first to listen to what we wanted in price, quality and color. He then measured our rooms, and provided advice on the best carpet and padding options to meet our requirements. As it turns out, we didnt need to replace all of the carpet! He offered their carpet stretching service for a couple of rooms. That saved us quite a bit of money. He provided a very reasonable estimate for the total job and suggested we come to the A+ showroom for additional options.We arrived at the show room the next morning and were warmly greeted by the sales staff. We met with the sales manager, Rosemary Angeli, who took great care of us. She made us feel extremely welcome. She provided additional product and pricing options that were excellent. No sales pitch. No pressure. Just information and education on which color, carpet and padding options met our needs. We selected a great package and made arrangements for installation.Rosemary then introduced us to the owner, Eric Rome. He was very friendly and engaging. He wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied.On installation day, the team arrived on time and went right to work. They replaced carpet and padding in all 4 bedrooms, walk in closets, hallway and staircase. The installation turned out excellent! They took great pride in their work. They then stretched the living room and dining room carpet. It looks brand new! They cleaned up everything and thoroughly vacuumed all carpeted areas.
