My car was tagged with a tow warning even though I had valid tags. After calling I was informed how to handle to insure issue wouldnt happen again. I would rate higher however they should have ran my plates first before putting notice on car.

I had an amazing customer experience with this company. I live in Chattanooga, TN, and my vehicle broke down while passing through Columbia, SC. I originally had my insurance company tow me to a garage with a different towing service. When I discovered that I would need to take my vehicle to another shop, Schroeder’s was recommended by name. It didn’t take me long to find out why...From my first call to the dispatcher, the employees were courteous, and professional and took a genuine interest in my well-being. My driver, Jim, arrived in a timely manner and was friendly and enthusiastic about his duties. He gave me a ride with my vehicle, an when I discovered I would need to take the vehicle to a dealership to trade it in, I didn’t hesitate to ask for him by name again. He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of in a city I was not familiar with. TOP NOTCH COMPANY!

I called the towing company that I know tow cars in my neighborhood, and YES indeed they had my car. I asked why, and they said because I didn’t have a resident sticker. I nicely told the lady on the phone I did. They checked and Called back explaining the error on their part and to bring my car back. It was back about two hours later. I later called to speak with a Manager due to after speaking to my leasing office told me that they didn’t have anything to do with their error and the towing company is aware of the older resident stickers and have pictures. The nasty gentleman on the phone apologized however told me I need to move the sticker to a visible spot because it’s hard to see at night. I advised them I had to miss work due to their error and, my leasing office told me to put my sticker in that spot 5 years ago! He told me if my car gets towed again, I will pay to get it back! IT WAS THEIR ERROR AND THEY NEED TO USE FLASHLIGHTS AT 3AM TO MAKE SURE CARS DO NOT HAVE RESIDENT STICKERS OR TO LOOK AT TAGS! UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! And if they tow my car, I will sue them! THEY ARE ALREADY WARNED!

My vehicle was stuck in deep water and Jamie the driver too his shirt off and went into the mud and water to gain access to hook to the van . He went way beyond with a smile on his face .Talk about a great company is Shroeder Towing .They give excellent service and their price is reasonable .

Jesse towed my old truck to the maintenance shop last night. Jesse was very professional and customer service oriented. Jesse was very personable and even offered to call or text me when it reached it’s destination. Which he did by the way. Schroeder‘s towing is my choice for tow companies.

This past weekend Schroeders Towing towed 30 cars from one apartment complex full of USC students and parents (moving students into housing). They took advantage of a delay in the leasing office disseminating parking stickers during move-in. Although I personally notified Schroeders that the leasing office was closed over the weekend preventing the students from getting parking stickers, they rolled back around and towed cars again. The first night, it cost $160 to get the car out and the 2nd night they raised the price to $255. Not a good way to welcome students back during their first week of school. When I tried to explain the situation to someone over the phone at Schroeders Towing, the individual continuously shouted over me and just kept saying, we are just doing our job. Im just glad that my job doesnt involve gauging students for money.

The people have been nice (no one wears masks though) but the prices here are insane. They towed my car around 11pm and when I asked if I could pick it up that night, they said they were closed and I would have to wait until the morning and it would be $160. I went in around noon and it was over $200. When I asked why, they told me it was because it had been there for over 12 hours and there was an added storage cost. Why did I get charged for storage during hours I wasnt even allowed by them to pick my car up? It would have been nice to have a heads up on that and I would have come just an hour earlier. It just seems like they are trying to scam people out of more money when their prices are already so high. Also, after having my car towed from them before, I was SURE to check signs to make sure I was parked legally, I was even assured by someone who works at the place that it was a guest lot. There were no signs in the lot, it was almost empty, and I still got towed. This place screams unprofessional, just read their replies to reviews.

I thought I needed a tow and it was difficult to find a truck that could get into the small parking lot. Anthony was professional and helpful, and mentioned that he thought changing the tire and driving on the spare would be more efficient overall. It turned out he was right, and I was able to be on my way in about 15 minutes. I really appreciate it!

Horrible experience will never use again. They are holding my clothes shoes Identification and other government documents that I need to survive because they wont let its owner get my stuff. I had to travel without any of these things and is currently still wearing the same outfit for sometime now.

ATTENTION ATTENTION🚨 Please don’t use this company to tow your vehicle. I had my vehicle towed by this company and they nearly tore the front of my vehicle up. They damaged my wheel well guards on my two front tires and act like they wasn’t responsible for it. I have even sent them pictures of the damages and the owner told me that my car was already in this condition. My wheel well guards was literally dragging on the highway when I went to pick it up from where I had it towed to. After calling the company several times the guy that original towed my vehicle came out and tried to patch it back together and told me that he was sorry for what he did. Also while getting my car towed the guy (Josh) told me that in the past he has busted radiators in customers vehicles that he had to replace. Please don’t use this company they will damage your vehicle and make it look like it was damage prior to them towing it. They do not care for their customers.

Awesome towing company. My daughters car was towed by them and when I went to pick it up the battery was dead. Kenny, one of their associates helped me replace the battery after he recommended where I could get one and I even received their price for the battery. I highly recommend them. Not many companies care enough to go the extra mile like they did!!

Jim absolutely saved my life by pulling my truck out of the weirdest spot. In the mud, down a hill, in some thorns, he was muddy, covered in ants, sweaty, and still had the best smile on his face. Went above and beyond to help in absolutely every way. Helped pop out a tiny dent and I was amazed. It took him literally hours because of my situation, but he did absolutely everything he could. Yes I can. When you give advertising stickers to HOAs to place on peoples windshields, ones that you need a straight blade to remove, thus scratching windshields, its a problem. They make stickers that are able to be removed with no damage. One of your stickers were placed on a marked service truck, doing work at a house in a subdivision. A house with a driveway that held one car and had a car in that spot. In my line of work, it is easy for me to send towing customers away from your compnay.

Schroeder Towing has a great employee in Josh. I had a breakdown of my almost new Land Rover. When I called for support, he showed up almost before the phone call ended. He greeted me and instantly went to work securing and moving the vehicle as quickly as possible. Josh was nice and effective initially without any extra talk because we were on a very busy interstate. He instructed me to go ahead to the dealership. Once there, it was a few minute before he showed up. Initially I was worried but later discovered because of the newness of the vehicle, there was some difficulty getting the car into gear because of the specific problem I was encountering. Once the vehicle was secured at the dealership, he was fast courteous and effective at his job in spite of some of my family members trying to tell him how to do his. I use to work with this company awhile back and know personally how good the company & there drivers are. I am working for another company now and had to tow a rental vehicle on I77 S before exit 12 on the left shoulder just before 4pm, as i was pulling over to pick up this vehicle one of Schroeders wheel lifts pulled up behind me with his lights on and giving me extra safe work room since the shoulder where i was at was very tight. I sadly didnt get to see which driver this was but i would love to know so i can thank him for the help and maybe treat him to coffee or lunch one day. I want to express my sincerest appreciation to Anthony for taking my call during a frantic moment and to the wrecker driver Rick for the quick response and for the careful handling of my Porsche 911.It was on Christmas day, I was at Woodridge Cemetery visiting with my deceased mother and noticed that my car had leaked all of its cooling fluid. I made a call to Schroeder Towing and spoke with Anthony. Knowing that the dealership was closed on Christmas Sunday, Anthony quickly recommended that they tow the car to a holding lot close by for safe keeping and complete the towing delivery on Monday to the repair shop.I was so nervous knowing that my Porsche 911 was going to be towed, but soon after Rick the wrecker driver, showed up with his positive and confident attitude, my nerves subsided.Rick assured me that the car would not be damaged. I watched Rick carefully maneuver his clean well equipped transport into position, supported with the proper step up ramps used for low profile cars, and slowly pulled the Porsche onto the roll back. Rick then asked if I needed a ride somewhere but I had already arranged for someone to pick me up at the Cemetery.After Rick left, I realized I had left my reading glasses in the car and soon after a phone call back to Rick, the glasses were dropped back by the Cemetery. My pickup truck broke down on I 20 about 20 miles outside of Columbia. At 10:30 at night. In the rain. After a 5 hour drive from Virginia. Called Schroeders mostly because they were one of the few that showed as still being open that late. The driver, Jamie, was on site within 30 minutes and had my truck on a flatbed heading for Columbia 15 minutes later. Unloaded it at my hotel, even got it into a good parking spot. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommended.

My tire blew out one morning and I did not know what to do, so I called Schroeder’s towing. I spoke with Denise, she was very helpful and polite! The tow truck driver Michael arrived in less than 5 minutes and was very informative while preparing my vehicle to be towed. I am very grateful for Schroeder’s Towing!

Car window was broken out while in their possession, they dont car how they treat your vehicles...it was also scratched all the way down passenger side. Terrible.

Long story short. They have a contracted 3rd party that handles their phone calls from 1 am to 7am. It took 2 and a half hours and 4 phone calls to the company to simply know where my vehicle was (I work in the mornings).My story. I parked legally at a restaurant. Had a few drinks and did not want to drive back for legal and moral reasons. Owner of the restaurant said I would not get towed. I got towed to which this company was very rude, unprofessional, and unco-operative. After 2.5 hours, I was able to finally get in touch with one of the drivers to which they were very rude and short. If you are in Columbia, use their service for quick towing but do not expect much business afterward.

Michael and Schroeder’s Towing were absolutely amazing when our vehicle broke down on our trip home from the beach and we had to have it towed. Michael not only accommodated my husband and I, but our two small kids. He even suck around until our ride arrived so our kids could sit in the A/C, rather than the 95 degree heat. We will forever be grateful to him and Schroeder’s for their customer service.
