Pretty nice yard. Decently organized. Fair pricing on some parts and steepish on others (they wanted more for a used taillight than a new one from rockauto), as with anything do your research on price lists and know what youre shopping for.
I’d been looking for a front differential everywhere. Online and locally I’d find one but the price would be outrageous.Pulled into pull-a-part with only 1 car matching mine but they had the part. I was able to connect with a local mechanic in the yard to get this part pulled and the price was approx 75% below the going rate elsewhere. Upon checkout, I was able to save addition money because of the holiday weekend thanks to Jessica with the lovely green highlights in her braids.Yes I would recommend and yes I will return. Thanks Pull-a-part!
It was okay they didnt have the part I was looking for but very organized and easy to find what you need website and actual site work really well with each other
Prices seemingly have gone up on parts, but its great to be able to get out on the yard and practice before you attempt the real thing on your personal vehicles!!! Inventory needs to be upgraded but nevertheless Do it yourself & PULL-A-PART!!! LOL...
Ask price on part before part was pulled, came back 2 Days later on Fathers Day with tools to get parked and attended working that day was rude and tripled price on part, Describe part very detailed when getting price. Not very happy with customer service. Both attendance that was on duty during Fathers day was very rude.
This is 5 star establishment!!! As A 6 year combat veteran of US Marine Corps they offer free admission for veterans EVERY DAY, have an outstanding well kept establishment, have very reasonable prices, excellent inventory, but most importantly they care about each and every customer and treat them with the utmost honesty, courtesy, and respect every time I visit!! I highly recommend you come check them out for yourself!!👍
Great service. The gentleman with the white SUV helped me find a wheel for my 2003 Toyota Camry. I appreciated him alot along with the other staff who took the time to help me. The price was very reasonable.
Everytime I go I find tidbits of anything and everything Im looking for. And so nice cars are arranged nice and off the ground on supports to get under them
I enjoy coming here to get my parts for my car. The customer service great. I believe the young lady name is Jessica who helped me find the parts I needed.
This place is pricey. Old parts sell at refurbished price or near new. I recommend it only as last resort.
Good place to get parts if put some elbow grease
Decent prices and a lot to choose from. Bring your tools check in on computer by looking up car and print out to get location and info. Go find it and if it doesn’t have what you need there may be other locations or different vehicle that works. Have wheel barrels to use for free and a parts cart for $5 /hr hoist are available come snatch a deal!
Great place to find most anything you need for your cars. Specially the more popular early and mid 90s imports though if you aint there soon as some of them ger there theyll be pulled all apart by the time you get there.
Great place to find the parts you need.
Love this place! Its like a mechanics heaven!! Always find some part I need for one of my vehicles. Inventory does update here pretty fast. Definitely recommend this place if you do your own work and want to save some cash.
They advertise that they close at 530. I got off work early to go return a part and they close the yard at 5:00. An officer opened the door and tells me that I am too late to go in the part yard. I asked to speak to someone. So he tells me to get in line and I can talk to them. So I wait 15-20 minutes to talk to the lady at the register. I arrived at 5:02. And had to wait 20 minutes to see about returning a faulty part.... I live an hour away from there and lost time at work. I think they should honor their listed hours of business or change the listed hours. They close at 5pm.... Not 530
Great place very helpful staff
I love scavenging for parts.
Love this place great way to learn how to work on car truck or SUV and you get way cheaper price than buying brand new. Always my. First stop when I have issue with vehicle there website shows prices and if your vehicle or generation is on the lot.
The best service I love every time I come ms Jessica always take great care of me !!!!! Please keep up the good work !!!
Organized and computer list is always up to date. Best junk yard around.
Not honest pricing at all said 57 on website got there got my part was like 18 bucks i bought few other things as well
Great place for parts, loved the 50% off doors sale! Having the golf cart rentals is awesome, makes grabbing larger parts of finding the best parts from multiple vehicles a breeze. And helps to have that little bit of shade/breeze while driving it on a hot day in the gravel lot much better!! Some parts are a little expensive, but others are priced great so overall 👍👍
Had my part, no one available to give me a price and the website is an epic fail for accurate pricing.
I love the place a lot I had a lot of fun there going back today
I really do like going there to gets things. The biggest complaint i have is that your store prices are as much as 5 dollars higher then what the online parts pricing says on the website. I mention it only because i am on a fixed income and have to make every penny count.
Went with my husband and I love it.
This place, Pull-A-Part, simply blew me away. I was expecting to crawl among the weeds and watch for snakes among the cars. Man, was I ever surprised to find such a well run business here in Columbia, SC. Everything about the experience was done well from check in to check out. I sent photos to my friends showing how neat and organized this location is. Good experience.
Picked dry of decent parts
Nice clean and affordable 👌
Found everything u needed and prices were reasonable
Great place and all the employees were masked and gloved!
Great place for used parts
Pull-a-part has pretty decent costumer service, although the car selection really isnt up to par with what I would like. There seems to be a lack of certain popular chevy and mazda vehicles. But still a pretty organized and delightful establishment.
I checked the online inventory for a vehicle matching mine, first. Onsite, I paid the $1 VIP entrance fee and walked right up to the 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, as described online, and plucked the Instrument Cluster; which is now in my 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. Didnt fix my problem, but the experience was as smooth as a new clear coat. Highly recommended.
Nice staff and fun experience.
Nobody answers the phone the operater directs me to the Atlanta office and still no one answers i called 5 times...bad customer service
Got lucky with the parts i was looking for! Great price too.
Very professionally run. You have to pay $2 to even look for your parts & only the car is in their system, not the available parts. But the system is organized & fair.
They are changing ridiculous high prices on everything. Don’t go there!!! We never want to go back there again!!
Why are they closeing @5 during spring and summer hours???
Horrible place nasty to high on there prices
I had to get a pulley for my truck the auto parts wanted 25 dollars plus shipping and handling which I was going to have to wait a week for . But this place had it there for 8 dollars and basically brand-new no waiting no shipping and handling right then and there. But just a friendly reminder the auto parts are better for some parts.
Got all kind a parts yeah
Good inventory management for the most part.
Quickly Found the parts that I needed for a car repair at a more than fair price.
Started using them for my parts needs to fix friends and family vehicles. Remember all cars run on used parts. Always helpful and good prices and a big selection of parts and they even sell cars there for great prices. Treat you like family when I go. Give retired military and active members free entry and membership. Never had a issues with parts or exchanges. Just visited them yesterday. Bought cross rails for my little sister car the dealership wanted 340 dollars. Paid 22.38 at this place. What a discount.
Found what i was looking for. And as a military veteran with asthma. They didnt give me a hard time about a mask. Thank you for understanding
Extremely polite and professional. Could not find parts needed. Not their fault. Just the way it worked out.
Always have what I need. Because of the huge yard social distancing is easy. One of me and my sons favorite places.
Great place but couldnt find what I needed maybe next time
One of the few salvage yards left in this area. Good selection of cars to choose from. Good hours of operation.
It is really a helpful place
Dont even bother trying to buy anything from them. Drove 60 miles one way to buy 4 cars, salesman was out for the day, no big deal. Drove back today and asked for the salesman and the response was he be outside. They didnt even bother to try and get ahold of him, I guess I was supposed to walk all over the yard looking for someone I dont know without even a description of what he looks like? Looked at the cars for half an hour, no one showed up, so 4 sales just walked out the door.
Will organize and have always been a happy member.
This is a great alternative to buying brand new car parts and paying exorbitant prices. The yard is clean, organised, and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful.
Love this place. What you cant find in the store is normally here.
Pull-a-part prices are unbeatable when it come to car parts but on the other hand they use car prices over price no warranty what they want for them as is & know the car on its last leg I mean wow really & the credit they give you have to get the part yourself
Good place to get what you need for used cars and not have to pay ridiculous prices for older cars. Most of the time they gotWhat younwant for a good price.
They asked me to pay before going in. i was surprised
Didn’t have a damn thing I needed
Just a great day to learn how to use the part for yourself or more industry that will be effective when your past havent been the best.
Great for DIYs
Decent prices and usually good selection.
Whats lkq ?cant call and find out?
Someone contacted me at 9am this morning stating that they were on the way to pick up my vehicle, waiting patiently it’s going on 4 hours without a call letting me know that they canceled my pick up . This place has poor communication and I will not be using them anymore
Very well organized and great prices. They offer pull yourself or they have people that will pull it for a fee. Very straight forward pricing regardless of the make or model.
Im hoping this catches the attention of corporate on the practices of the Columbia location. I do not appreciate the process of selling cars. One individual is there two days a week from 9-5 which I understand. However i was told sales were on a first come first served basis. What I do not appreciate is being the first person in line when Tony came into the building to be told that the vehicle will be sold to someone else who showed up after myself. Clearly they were friendly as they were on a first named basis. I feel there are short comings in this process as Tony seems to be favouring his friends in this process. I showed up before the doors opened and walked right in and right to the sales counter. Please revamp this process and make it fair for everyone not just fair for friends of Tony.
Quick process and everything was managed well!
Pull-A-Part is great. Kind, helpful people, wide selection, fair prices, even return policies on certain parts. Ill never overpay again!
Great place helpful people, if you get the wrong part they will let you exchange, or get credit for next visit. Inventory is changed regularly si of it aint there today wait it will be.
I actually love being there searching for my parts. I wish the web site was working. Its been broken since Sunday and its an hour drive to go there. And you cant call either.
I kinda like this place. They waive the 2.00 fee for military, which is good in my book, being a vet. They are very nice and courteous and will help you.
Has great amount of salvaged cars. You take your tools and spend your time. 90 return policy. They may have what you need or not, just remember there are thousands of people looking for the parts you want at the lowest prices possible. Good luck.
It was my first time going to a place like this and it was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal!!!! Friendly staff and plenty of tools to help pick your own parts!! Ill definitely be going back again and again.
Finally found one part Ive been trying to find for quite a while. Now just have to wait till another vehicle becomes available. But dont think youre going to call up there and get any living person on the line to answer any questions you may have. And dont waste your time requesting an alert for when a vehicle becomes available. Youll never get said alert.
Very clean and organized yard. Computer on site to assist in locating the vehicles as well. Staff is friendly and helpful as always. A++
A place where you can find just about anything for a vehicle
Good place to buy parts. But employess needs to be trained to use common sense. They want me to charge almost $5 dollars for a piece of trim size of my hand that they did not even know where it come from.
Love pull a part. Veterans get in free. They have a customer appreciation day Coming up. Free lunch. And great parts for cheap.
Giving two stars because I haven’t actually be able to speak with anyone yet but have been on hold for about an hour and a half al together.
Decent auto selection but the staff needs more training in manners and auto parts. The past 2 times I have visited they have tried to overcharge me. The following are just FOUR examples. 1> I purchased just the accelerator petal, she tried to change me for the entire petal assembly (all 3). 2> I purchased an engine with accessories, she tried to charge me a bare engine and each accessory separately. 3> I purchased a voltage regulator, she rang it up as a Body Control Module. (4X the price). 4> I purchased a distributor, she was trying to charge me separately for the vacuum advance. She said because it has a screw holding it on, it is charged extra.... Needless to say at this point I asked for her supervisor. Like I said WATCH WATCH WATCH what they charge you for, she tried to charge me over $100 extra!!!!
I love this place. The best prices on used parts that I can pull myself. The best junkyard hands down.
Great place! Now they have golf carts to to drive out to the vehicles to carry parts back.Great on hot days and heavy parts.
Team Members were so helpful! Really easy process and checkout! Got what we needed. Very friendly staff
Great inventory with an automated search engine. Their cost saving concept is similar to Aldis. Why pay for something you can do for yourself? They pass the savings on to you. Kudos for them.
I like people from this place . Every once in a while can find decent parts also . Lord Jesus bless you all !
Every time I go to get any tires they have all been stripped off every vehicle and are being sold 3 times as much on Craigslist or fb
Its improved substantially since the last time I was there. They have golf carts to make carrying things so much easier . The staff had great attitudes and were so helpful!
Great customer service. From the time you walk in til the time you leave the yard. Ill drive past several used parts places to come her and get parts. Thanks for continuous great service.
Its ok
I love this place......theres nothing like finding the part you need [SCORE!!], and at a great price. Its the thrill of the hunt for me.I find the website excellent for checking vehicle inventory before making a visit; of course, youll will need to make the trip to see if a specific part is still on a vehicle. The yard is very neat and organized---and theres even signposts throughout in case you forget which area the vehicle was in. I like that they are continuously updating inventory so you dont have to deal with stripped-out hulls with nothing left to offer. When it comes to the staff, Ive always found them to be courteous, and more importantly, helpful. Yesterday the woman at the checkout was even nice enough to allow me to walk out to my vehicle with a part to verify it was the correct replacement (it was) that I needed before the billing process. While probably not protocol, I appreciated that, because it didnt tie up mine & P-A-Ps time running then crediting my credit card.Cant wait to get back out on the yard and find some more parts I need (and some I probably dont :-)
Love this place.
Pull-a-part pretty much has every type of car around for you to rummage through for parts. If you buy a membership card you get in for $1, and non members pay $3 to get in. When entering p-a-p there are 3 computers that list all of the cars and parts on site, and tells the location of the vehicles to help you find what youre looking for. Prices are pretty good, usually about ⅓ the cost of places like NAPA or AutoZone, but Ive noticed that the price I find online dont match the cost Im charged at the register. Staff are friendly and helpful from my experiences. If youre into fixing your own car, pull-a-part is a great place to get parts at a great price.
Everyone was very helpful and I found what I needed! Bring a tool bag if you plan to go. Or you can rent a wheelbarrow or golf cart! Who knew!
Monticello Road in Columbia South Carolina I had an awful experience with them today I carry Parts back that were no good for me and trade. I went and got the parts that I had brought with me and had my own receipt to show them I paid $86 and some change for it and when it come time to make the exchange when I got more parts they told me because someone didnt put what I got into the machine correctly that they could not accept an exchange so they wanted me to pay for it all again and Ive been doing business with yall for a long time but when they told me that I would get a $28 credit and not get into parts that I brought back I told them I would sue you and put ever media outfit and channel 19 news on it as quickly as I can. Because I have been robbed just as much so if I walked in there with a gun and told them to give me everything it would have been no difference in the way of my money was took. And I will see you Pull-A-Part in. Court sorry it has to be this way.
My vehicle was struck badly in the parking lot of this establishment, the manager claimed the cameras didnt work, which had to be a lie. Please be careful when parking your vehicle, youre better off parking along the bac side of this establishment.
Always a great deal in used parts. Also a friendly crew of people.
Friendly employees, great selection and good prices.
