Don’t move here. They falsely advertise a secure locker/package system in which the door doesn’t close all the way and the room is super unorganized. They have the worst package system (see photos below, this is on a DECENT day). You pretty much have to find your package on your shelf floor (there’s two buildings and it’s hardly ever organized)Not only that, if you receive a package from Amazon prime during off hours (when leasing office is closed, which is common), they take no responsibility in the fact that the carriers have no access to the inside of the building or package room. Someone had a party in the common area and though I’ve asked to see footage of the common area to see where my package went (Amazon sent evidence of delivery to front door they couldn’t access), they wouldn’t let me see or show proof it wasn’t stolen.The property managers don’t seem to care what happens to your belongings.PS it’s dirty here, stains on carpets in hallways and they don’t keep a good supply of wipes in the gym (even during covid).If you’re debating on the right apartment in the area, move to Ten M Flats down the street.

Vista Wilde lake is the absolute worst apartment I have ever lived in. Stay far away from this place for your own sanity. They are so clueless when it comes to customer service! The apartment is really going downhill with lots of maintenance issues. You can call 50 times and no one at the leasing office will answer! This place is a joke! Becky and property manager Sarah - SHAME ON YOU!

Patience is very thin regarding the upkeep of this property. You WILL NOT receive a positive review from me, until the upkeep of this property is CONSISTENT! Patiently Waiting to speak to the person that oversees this entire property, and the Staff that works here.

This is the worst apartment you could live in. This is not luxury this is torture. The leasing office staff are so very much unhelpful. They start off nice and constantly call you till they rope you into signing the lease. Afterwards they just don’t care about what happens. They NEVER answer the phone, NEVER. When you need something done/something from them it’s like pulling teeth. I’ve never had such a horrible experience, I have honestly never been this stressed out in my entire Life. The absolute worst!

Beware! For the whole year that Ive lived here a terrible sewage smell has at all times occupied the bathroom, and is clearly coming from pipes behind the wall. I smell it in the hallways too. Sometimes the smell is overwhelming and leaks out into the bedroom causing nausea and headaches! It is a huge inconvenience and likely a health concern. Maintenance was unable to do anything about it. Will not be renewing the lease here. Otherwise, I think its okay in most aspects.

For summer the life guards that they get are clearly not caring about anyone in the pool. No one in this administration is check if people are doing their job

Would give 0 stars if I could. So my fridge went out, woke up to puddle of water and all my food slowly going bad. Called the emergency maintenance number. Turns out it goes to a guy who hasn’t worked here in over 8 months. Called the normal maintenance number and they said someone will come out and look at it. Keith who is a great guy came out and said we needed a new fridge. Management told him to use the one from the model home until the new one comes(which will be a few days) so he quickly replaces the fridge and all is good. Not quite, the fridge stops working after a few hours. So I call maintenance AGAIN and it goes to Taylor. Told her the issue I was having and that the old fridge they replaced the bad one with is not working. She has the audacity to stop me mid sentence and say “how do you know it’s not new?” first off the fridge came in and did not smell a new fridge, there wasn’t any plastic or anything on it, there was a little bit of dirt in it, and Keith who is a great worker told us that’s what management told him to do and did us the pleasure of wiping it down due to the current COVID problem. Taylor was rude, tried lying and telling us that it was replaced with a new fridge and had an awful attitude. The only staff member who is kind and hardworking here is Keith. He did great and said as soon as the new fridge comes he will here to install it.

Mr. Keith Green is a consummate professional. His response to our residential maintenance needs were taken care of competently and expediently. He was professional while simultaneously being appropriately interpersonal. His exceedingly winning disposition makes him asset at Vista Lake Apartments.

Not really a “luxury” apartment.We moved in our apartment July 2020.This apartment has major plumbing issues. There are times where we can smell a sewage/cat urine type smell so bad that it causes headaches and nausea. Maintenance has been in here several times, but there’s only so much they can do, considering this is probably an issue for a majority of this complex (I’ve smelt the same smell on other floors as well). You can also hear your neighbors talking and the stinky food that they are cooking. This gives me a lot of anxiety having a nut allergy that is airborne. If they start making anything with peanut sauce or peanut butter cookies it’ll probably be a trip to the emergency room. I’m thankful to have a hospital only 3 minutes away though 😂 Food smells especially travel in the hallways and the master closet in our apartment? The new tenants they’re letting in aren’t exactly the type of people you would want as neighbors. I guess they are getting desperate to fill the vacant apartments. Our neighbors yell and curse for hours and play rubbish music all day. When they first moved in they were blasting music until 1:30-2am, which the office people did take care of and is no longer an issue during quiet hours. We still hear them yelling after 11pm. We live on the second floor and we can hear every step of our neighbors above us, including hearing the balcony door slide and their annoying dog. I imagine that living on the 5th floor would help with this. This was the only “new” place we could find with hard floors. Because of Covid our rental options were very limited. I have severe allergies and asthma and didn’t want to risk having a reaction because of carpet/pet dander. When we moved in the apartment looked clean, however the dishwasher had a terrible smell that took 3 months to get rid of. Under the oven there was a large amount of dog hair (which I’m highly allergic to). We kept losing power to the master bathroom outlets, which took about a month to resolve. The maintenance guy let himself in the apartment while I was in the shower. And turned the lights out because he was replacing something on the breaker box. They really need to start implementing an appointment system for maintenance. I saw later that they did call but I WAS IN THE SHOWER. It’s not their fault that there isn’t an appointment system in place. The hallways and elevators always smell like wet dogs. Probably because of the “pet spa” in the basement. The stairwell smells like mold, which triggers asthma as well. The mail room is a nightmare. Worst of all one the tenants totaled my boyfriend’s car and crashed into 4 others in the parking garage that you can’t get into without a pass. They probably won’t evict this hit and run reckless driver. Overall I don’t recommend this apartment and we will not be renewing our lease. The only positives? The maintenance team and how quick we were able to move in on such short notice on a holiday weekend. Otherwise we would’ve been spending hundreds on a hotel per night. We really like the security of the apartment as well. You can’t get in without a key fob, which is on every door. The apartment looks nice but it’s not really high quality.It’s sad to see a

Amazing experience so far. My husband and I cant wait to enjoy being a part of the Vista Wilde Lake community! Weve had a great experience from the time we submitted our application until just recently when we signed our lease. Taylors tour of the building was very impressive. I was also impressed by Beckys knowledge and guidance throughout the application process. Our move in date is just a little over a week away.

I worked with both Taylor and Becky. Mainly Taylor and her customer service was amazing. She showed me around and made picking an apartment so easy. I felt welcome and comfortable at the apartments. I was able to email her when I had questions and she was responsive in a well mannered time and informative.

Dealing with people in the office was so frustrating. I had to ask several times to receive the renewal offer but they kept saying its not up to them to give the offer but the company. I had to give them 60 days notice because I didnt get the renewal offer in time.I finally got our renewal offer by visiting them and explaining I can’t wait any longer because I need to find a place to live. After I got it, I asked if there is any possibility to negotiate but I didn’t hear back from the manager for a while again. Even though I visited the office they kept saying they were working on it. Later I found out they listed our apartment on the website for renting.My experience with the apartment and amenities has been great, however not being able to effectively communicate during the renewal process has made it hard to feel that they value me as a customer. All what I wanted was to simply have a conversation and allow our family to have reasonable time to find a place.

Exceptional staff, beautiful apartments. Walls are thick so you do not hear your neighbors that much. Very pet friendly and just a walk away from lots of great shops and community setting.

Once I toured, I was in love. The approval process was super quick and easy. They make everything pretty easy for residents. I love our secure garage and building: no keys, NO access! I also love that our gym is right in the basement - so convenient because I cannot always make it to the local gym I am a member of. The apartment is very beautiful... made with quality only the regal can appreciate. So glad my city brought this luxury here; suits all of my needs... especially the complimentary Starbucks coffee I need every morning! Thank you Alta!

I love being able to use the computers/printer - very convenient for last minute office needs. We have a Starbucks coffee machine and TAZO tea (and hot chocolate for the kids). I enjoy the extended living room AKA our clubhouse area for entertaining or for quick business meeting space... or just to do my studies in peace. Best luxury apt building in Columbia; I did my research before moving in. Nothing is perfect but this place is very beneficial and the low cost of utilities make me not miss my old bills. It all evens out.

The officer managers are always on top of complaints and issues which are usually minor. This is a beautiful place to live for entrepreneurs and business owners and bosses. Also great for the elderly to have a safe private haven if they are active and mobile. Everyone has a reason they love it here. You just have to visit, tour and see for yourself!~

Weve complained about LOUD music at night from the neighbors right above our unit 5 times so far to Taylor and Becki. Despite our right to quiet enjoyment, the leasing office staff have ignored our complaint. When we were about to sign our lease contract, they did say that noisy neighbors would be warned and properly dealt with. Well, they dont keep their word. If you cannot handle booming bass noise from your neighbors at night, dont even think about moving here.

Building is pretty but super ghetto.

My wife and i came today and found the apartments homes to be great. We enjoyed the tour around the community. The fitness room, lounge, and unit space where awsome. We are looking forward to our new home.

Just moved in about a month ago and I love my new home! It feels like a luxury hotel from the lobby and the cleaning crew is there everyday. Even the elevators smell fresh! Friendly and professional staff too.

I love Alta Wilde Lake! I love the apartments, my neighbors, and the folks in the office are awesome! It seems like every week the office staff throws a party with complimentary wine and delicious food.

I do not currently live at this apartment but first impressions are everything. I came in to look at apartments briefly but was turned down within 5 minutes, it seems like people dont want to take an extra 15 minutes to spend time for people without an appointment. Also, now that I have seen the other reviews here about the poor conditions of the appliances etc. I am completely turned off to ever going back to look at apartments. If they are going to be charging as much as they are at this community everything should be in top shape, high quality. You get what you pay for should apply to this community for now the search continues..

My parents live in Alta Wilde Lake and they absolutely love the apartment . However, the lease office staff is terrible. They’re so rude and not being helpful. Today my 9 month old baby was playing with toys in the lobby when the blond lady in the lease office came and warn me about the noise. She was sitting alone in her office and no one else was in the lobbby other than us. She even accused me of giving my baby the art pieces when I told her that I’d never do that. I know they always host parties with loud music so it’s so rude that she came and warm me about this. It is obvious that she is discriminating people. The African American lady in the lease office is also rude and dismissive. She didn’t care about my request and wasted my four hours waiting for repairman to fix disposal in my parents’ apartment. I had to wait because both my parents can’t speak English well and I was supposed to tell what things to be fixed. When I told her that I had been waiting for four hours she told me that my name was not in the lease and I couldn’t make any request. She could tell me this at the first place so she wouldn’t waste my time but she didn’t care. The apartment itself is awesome but they should definitely put nicer lease office people there.

I have lived in this apartment for almost a year. It is a beautiful, high end complex. I think the staff, especially the maintenance staff is professional and helpful. The apartment has had some problems but most are to be expected with a new complex. If I had any complaints it would be about some of the residents. They seem to not understand that this is a high end apartment complex and they should treat it accordingly. I have been happy with my stay and plan to renew my lease.

Leasing process was very easy and the agent we worked with was wonderful. She answered all of our questions and was very responsive during the application phase.

Extremely interactive community, they do so much for their residents, the staff is outstanding, they are always willing to help. The best place to live, youll never regret it.

If someone were to ask me what its like living at Vista Wilde Lake, I would have to be honest and say that this property appeared to be heaven but quickly went downhill after signing my second lease. I started off in a 2 bedroom which was managed by Alta Wilde Lake, the Property Manager Grace was the most sweetest & caring woman I have ever met.I then transferred to a 1 bedroom unit which was ok until another leasing agent made a mistake and did not know how to properly put the transfer through, nor did she know how to transfer my security deposit to the new apartment.There was a big mix up and nobody could give me a clear and concise explanation!There has been a steady decline in the service at this property to include the carpet not being cleaned regularly in the common areas, (Spots on carpet in hallways and Club House Area), dog hair in the hallways, common area furniture has not been steam cleaned, grills are not cleaned properly and at times dont work because of no propane. The doors to the property are constantly propped open by the use of rocks, soda cans etc. I used to sit by the Firepit and at times it is not operational.Minors are often left in the business center playing games on computers which causes real business owners like myself to be able to access the area. The business centers looks horrible at times with trash, coffee cups and food stains in the chairs and on the computer surfaces.Trash is overflowing in the dumpsters and in the courtyard on a regular basis, especially after residents have had an event. There is also furniture and matresses which are disgarded near the dumpster located in the parking garage and garbage 💩💩and boxes that pile up without being disposed of properly which is an eyesore!Cleaning crews have changed like the wind and only seem to keep the first floor emaculate.It seems every other month an elevator is out of order and at times the so called secure gated garage stays up and is malfunctioning!Management has changed and the care that was given under Alta Wilde Lake has gone out the door.For the rent thst is charged at this property....I would pay a little more to live elsewhere 😑😑😑😑Management is also misrepresenting that this is a Smoke Free Community!!!! There is an Addendum to the lease which clearly states that this is a Smoke Free Community! People smoke on the property all the time to include tobacco products as well as marijuana which is very strong on my floor. (I will continue to take pictures and email in hopes that corporate will step in and do something)To make matters worse, Vista Wilde Lake has the nerve to start charging all 200+ residents a portion of the Utility Fee for the Common Area (s) Utilities because they fail to market the area to Rent in order to create revenue for the space. (I was informed by leasing that the main space is the where they are losing money is the Clubhouse Area because it is not rented on a regular basis)Excuse me....then Promote and Market that area properly to generate your own revenue!!!!!I will not be renewing my lease!!!In closing, I would not recommend this community under this Management Company!

Bechi and Taylor, thank you so much for all that you do with facilitating efforts and keeping me informed on maintenance tickets status as well as upcoming socials!Maintenance Team; Weldon - Supervisor, Brian, Leroy and Mike/Electricians who all went on the hot roof in 88+ Degrees working between the A/C and Electrical Equipment more than 4x trouble shooting the cause of various faulty equipment. Weldon your Diligence with contacting a 3rd party vendor to validate concerns are heartfelt and I too look forward to delivery of my new A/C unit at your earliest convenience! I can honestly say that scaling down to a 1-bedroom meant, I had a lot more than most to share with a charity while preparing to resume work tomorrow.The 5-Stars result from my experiences with each Vista Wilde Lake representative mentioned (to include those inadvertently missed). I appreciate the hard work you all do to maintain the daily building operations as intended. My prayer is that you all receive a promotion/bonus for your efforts as its not easy doing what you do when having to deal with challenges. We looked at a lot of apartments and have selected the Alta Wilde Lake!! Has the biggest master bedroom....and has a lot to offer, everyone has been great to work with...Tamia was wonderful, showed us around and was very pleasant...cant wait! Thank you!!

Alta Wilde lake is a beautiful property. We lived here for a year in a good sized 1bed 1 bath apartment. The apartment was spacious, beautiful, modern, and is fitted with great quality amenities. May be slightly expensive but there are amenities to justify the price. It is a very safe place to live. You need a fob to enter every door but sometimes these safety measures can become annoying. The area surrounding the property is nice. Few feet away, there is an organic grocery store, a cvs pharmacy, starbucks and a few restaurants. The highlight of this place is their large, beautiful lobby and an amazing gym !! A gym of that size is very difficult to find in other places. The Columbia mall is about 5 minutes away by car. We have heard mixed feedback about the neighborhood, but we found it beautiful and quite safe. The maintenance people are very nice and effective. I give four stars considering mixed experience with the office staff. Sometimes they can be cold and not very helpful. For example, it has been 4 months since we moved and we still have an unresolved minor dispute about our deposit. Although, I must say they helped us big time when we moved out. A shout out to Sarah for helping us. Just one feedback - people in the office can be a little more warm. In sum, we had a good experience and will definitely recommend it.

Great, Great Location,, upscale, amenities, close to EVERTYTHING Columbia MALL in walking distance. Extremely spacious and clean, HUGE Units, tennis courts, community swimming, state of the ART FITNESS CENTER on site all you need right at home and the STATFF was AMAZING !!!!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it.

Hi everybody I think this place is wonderful I will just give you one of the best prevelage is to have very friendly manger, assist manger, and staff, nice neighborhood facility, alot of parking space so if you have vistor you will not have a problems.I strongly recommend this place for living, just come and see it

I’ve been here for two months and I absolutely love it! I have nothing but good things to say.. My apartment is gorgeous and chic with all the amenities you would expect to find in a luxury apartment. And the staff is professional, pleasant and helpful..Sarah, Tamia and Markeim have been marvelous with helping me to get adjusted to my new fab place!..Thank you guys!🙂I’ve had several packages delivered and they all have gone to the package room without incident, and each time I’ve received a much appreciated text notifying me that they were there.. I love that..And when I had my mattresses delivered- Sarah- a certified sweetie pie- was kind enough (per my permission) to let the delivery driver in my apt to drop off the mattresses in my room while I was at work..My bed was delivered to the package room in two huge heavy boxes and Markeim- another certified sweetie pie- was kind enough to bring my bed to my apartment and into my room and spared me a seriously laborious task. And I’ve had a series of new resident questions and Tamia- yet, another certified sweetie pie- patiently assisted me with each question. This complex offers a great place to live with great customer service..I couldn’t be happier here and I highly recommend!🙂

There are MICE! After seeing one in my apartment, I called the after hours maintenance line and they told me it was not an emergency. The next day after multiple calls again, the head of maintenance came and told me the exterminator company wouldn’t be able to come for SIX more days. With the price of these apartments you would expect them to take these complaints seriously.
