Ive lived here for almost a year and Im very satisfied with my place. I recently had an issue with the AC and they got someone out here the same day! Theyre kind, responsive, flexible, and friendly people. My unit is right by the Grindstone nature area and I love to spend time out there. I have seen baby foxes, deer, hummingbirds, and so many critters out here. The landlord and her husband keep the units updated and the whole area filled with lovely flowers and even glass art. I moved here from hundreds of miles away and looked for a place just like this so I could concentrate on getting my PhD in a quiet, beautiful, and affordable place. This is it. Its also cute to see all the kitties in the windows when you pull in the drive!I also want to note that one review on here said that they were mean and wrote in all caps on their website. I would say they have a sense of humor, and that the joke about not calling them in the middle of the night is funny. When I read the lease and related move-in materials with my mom we were both laughing. They live in the same little area and, reasonably, want to make sure their tenants are respectful. I have already renewed my lease for another year and will probably stay until I graduate again!

I love it here. The landlords are professional and helpful. They take great care of the property. Its nice not renting from a corporation too. Best rent Ive found in town for this type of unit. Its quiet and peaceful here. The grindstone nature area is literally right out my backdoor and the Hinkson Creek trail is just a half mile walk.

This has been the best apartment for me and my husband. I felt moved to write a review because many others had problems with management and I wanted to personally vouch for the management here and said they are lovely, very professional, and always kind. They come over to say hi to our cats and are always prompt at responding to apartment mishaps. I’ve lived here 3 years now and have been given only grace by these two!! I am not a perfect renter and they always work with me. I also love the location and cleanliness of these apartments. It’s a great place and none of that pay per room college apartment style. PS we have recommended living here to 3 other tenants who have also enjoyed their stay! I would check this place out!

I rented at Dalclifton Apartments on Mizzou Place. If you want a quiet home with responsive landlords, this is it. I needed an odd length lease – no problem. I asked for a small repair – it was done before I got home that night. I work second shift and had no problem sleeping in. The location right at Grindstone Nature Area and Hinkson creek was lovely. It was awesome hearing owls at night.

TL;DR: Rude, Grumpy, Childish. I have been with many landlords that have 2-stars and 1.7-stars reviews in Columbia: This is so horrible that it deserves half-a-star review.The landlord was grumpy, never smiled and terminated the lease for a minor problem between us. I then tried to talk to them, and the landlord shut the door in front of me, then wrote me an email with all caps. The landlord is very unwilling to resolve anything. BTW, the landlord has a husband, watch him out, he apparently has a lot of power to dictate how you want your place to be, too.I ended up having to ask my lawyer to resolve the problem with them. I have been renting and dealing with landlords in almost 10 years and have never had such a bad experience. I think you should save yourself troubles and money renting from them.Oh, and you can tell by visiting their site and reading their introductions --/EastCampusHouses2.htmlWell apparently youre not renting from them, they dont need you: You need them to do you a favor for you by letting you pay a fee for the privileges of staying inside their property. This is not a business, this is their HOME (sic.)We rent to groups of two or four, depending on the house. To see a house, everyone in the group must be there, all at the same time. Determine several days & times everyone is available (preferrably before 4pm) before you email/call to schedule a tour.We get many, many calls about our houses. Eventually we stop answering the phone and dont call anyone back. You are most likely to get a response if you email us: [email protected] you do call, dont call us after 9pm or we wont rent to you for sure (and we may call you back when we get up at 5am and hang up). You are calling our HOME, not an empty office. If you do call and we dont call you back, email us, dont keep leaving messages or we wont rent to you for sure.This means: They wont answer the phone. They wont call back. They said clearly that they will retaliate you if you happen to have something after 9PM, by calling you at 5AM and hang up. I dont understand why they are still in business with that childish behavior.

The apartment has no insulation. I kept it at 52 degrees and the electric bill was $150. I waited for three months for a hole in the screen door to be fixed but it never was. Cell phone reception was also an issue.
