I’ve lived here for about one month, and I love it!My roommate and I were looking for apartments during the pandemic and were unable to tour them. What set The Merion apart from all the others was the responsive and awesome management team in the leasing office. Immediately after talking about the apartment with Sue, my roommate and I knew this was our top choice. Sue was incredibly helpful, responsive, and candid throughout the leasing process, which really put me at ease considering we committed to the apartment sight unseen (other than a virtual tour)!Now that we’ve moved in, the apartment is even better than I had initially expected. The maintenance staff is responsive, highly capable, and detail-oriented. The best part about the team here is that they want you to have the best living experience as much as you do, yourself!Our unit was freshly painted and had newly-installed carpet. The building itself is clean, well-maintained, and safe (night security guard and a key card for building entry in addition to the key to the apartment unit).The area is beautiful with good walking paths, and the building is conveniently located near the mall, grocery stores, etc.

I was needing a short term lease for my last semester of school and came across Merion. When I gave Merion a call, Sue picked up and I knew this would be an apartment complex i would be welcomed at.Sue and Kelly have been wonderful at facilitating all of the paperwork and processes involved with the lease. I am now moved into my new unit and could not be happier with the kitchen appliances, cleanliness and security of the apartment.I also appreciate some of the small but important aspects of apartment; the hired night security, card access to enter the grounds and the grocery shopping carts available for moving furniture. Super appreciated for women concerned for safety in a new home

Club Merion has been great. We were looking for a new apartment and were having trouble finding a well priced place with good reviews, until we found Club Merion. We rented sight unseen and were initially worried, but once we met the management team and saw the apartment we were very glad we chose to move here. Management is very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any inquiries. The maintenance team is very fast to resolve both emergency service requests and standard ones. The apartment complex is kept clean and the whole building is very quiet. Delivery services are always directed to your door during weekdays instead of being left in an open mailroom like in some other apartment buildings. Our apartment was very clean and the walls freshly painted when we moved in. All of our appliances (Fridge, dish washer, stove, in unit washer and dryer) were brand new. Club Merion is a very welcoming, safe, and quiet environment. Im very glad to have moved here.

My fiancé and I recently moved here last month (without having first seen our actual unit) and have enjoyed it so far! The building is in a nice location (~2 miles from downtown Columbia) with great parking, good walking trails, and a nice fitness center in the building. The building is generally pretty quiet and peaceful; its also clean and well-maintained. The amenities in our unit are pretty new and work well, and the square footage is great for just the two of us. The AC in the main hallways and lobby is wonderful and the elevator is generally very prompt. No maintenance issues so far! In-unit washer, dryer, and dish washer are also a big plus. One of my favorite aspects of living here is the staff - they are so sweet and always ensure we are comfortable and have what we need living here.Just a few minor downsides... since the building is fairly quiet, its been somewhat hard to meet our neighbors (also likely due to covid). Also, our dryer door cannot fully open as it hits the laundry room door (possibly only happening in our particular unit), and the hot water seems to run out kind of quickly if both of our bathroom showers are in use.

I have been living at Merion for the past year and can definitely say this is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. Everyone is super friendly, from the other residents to the office staff and maintenance. I was quite nervous about finding an apartment and moving in the middle of the pandemic. But Sue was so helpful in giving me a virtual tour and answering all of my questions and I decided to sign a lease without ever setting foot into the building. A year later I couldnt be happier with that decision and would highly recommend Merion to anyone moving to the area.

The apartment complex is well maintained and clean. The fitness center is convenient. The leasing office makes an extra effort to greet you with a smile, recognize your birthday, and organize nice catered events.The apartments are quiet with the buildings thick walls and less traffic due to being at the end of a cul-de-sac. Parking has always been available. The nearby pathways through the woods are fantastic for appreciating nature.I highly recommend Club Merion apartments.

I love living here! Columbia is quiet and lovely and Club Merion apartments are in a great location close to all the grocery stores, whether you want to go in to the store or have them delivered. The building is safe with secure access. The leasing office staff is super friendly and always helpful. Due to high demand, I was placed on a waiting list, however once an apartment opened up I was able to move in and have been happy here ever since. I leased my apartment sight unseen (due to the pandemic), only based on the pictures on the website and I was not disappointed! The kitchen is modern with stainless steel appliances and medium dark wood shaker cabinets with modern pulls to match the appliances. The grounds are super clean and well maintained. Living here for 10+ years has been wonderful. The building and grounds are beautifully maintained. It is clean, quiet and filled with friendly people. Sue, the manager, and her staff are nice, efficient and strive to make the residents comfortable. Pre-pandemic they held holiday parties, Easter egg hunts and a summer cookout. Heres hoping we get back to that place! We have Bingo contests each year with great prizes. What more could a resident ask for? Come on over and give us a look. You wont be sorry.

I was in a situation where I had to find somewhere to live on short notice when I came across this location. I had to sign a lease sight-unseen and move from out of state. Sue and Kelly were extremely helpful and accommodating making the move-in process easy and stress free. Ive been here for a few months now and couldnt be happier with my decision. This is a great place to live! I stayed here for a little over a year, signed the lease sight-unseen, and I was very happy. The location is great-lots of good walking paths and quiet but also close to downtown Columbia. The staff were all very friendly and kind. Maintenance was responsive if there were any issues, and the apartment was clean and bright. Very spacious, and before COVID, there were a lot of nice community events as well. Would definitely recommend!

I have been living here in Club Merion almost 3 months now. I never had such a wonderful experience living in rental apartments. There are many reasons why this rental apartment stand out in a good way.1) Property manager Sue is so professional and prompt in responding to queries over the phone or email. I have always got a revert to my queries in less than 1 hour. Yes, Thats true (no exaggeration).2) Property including common lobby is always clean and ambiance is so good that I get a feeling that I am living in nice Hotel.3) Cleaning and Maintenance staff has a quick turn around time. As soon as ticket is raised they will come to fix that issue.

I’ve been living at the Club Merion with 3 other roommates since October. Starting off, the 2 bath 2 bedroom +den is setup roommate style (each with their own walk in closet), which is great for a little privacy. Our balcony/porch area faces the back of the building, so the view of the sunset is always gorgeous. Unlike other complexes, the Merion has free parking in the front and back so there’s never the struggle of someone constantly taking YOUR spot. In terms of location, Safeway is less than 5 minutes away and Howard County General is only 3 minutes. Always passing by members of the team in their main office downstairs, Kelly and Sue are phenomenal at making the Merion feel like home. Their customer service truly is unmatched, fantastic place to rent.

I had to move during Covid, so I have to admit I was nervous of making the decision. Since the beginning Sue was super nice and helpful with me during the process, so I started feeling more comfortable with my moving process.I have been here 5 months already and I have to say that I love it. The place is really quiet, nice neighbors, the staff is really friendly and polite. I feel safe living here.I also love the area is a very nice neighborhood. I love all the green areas around.I will call this my home until Im ready to buy my own place.

I soon will be moving out, which, actually to me, is incredibly sad. I had moved here just before COVID to be closer to my job (the 75-mile drive was getting to me). Then, I got picked for a promotional transfer back to where I was before (and now am moving about two years later). However, my time here, while short, was excellent. The team was always great; I was one of the few people who still worked in person during COVID in the building and always came back to parking. I also didnt get nervous coming back late and alone, thanks to the security officer. I had an emergency in 2020 at my job (the kind that gets on the news), and they were gracious enough to help someone get into my apartment to walk and feed my dog. Which my dog is probably eternally grateful for the assistance. If anything went wrong, someone was always quick to respond. Pre-covid, I knew they did a lot of activities which I thought was excellent. And while Im sure my neighbors didnt always appreciate my dog (she can be a little noisy), everyone has been super friendly. One guy apologized for his cat meowing. I cannot say enough positive things that will adequately sum up my experience. As someone hard to trust both businesses and people by nature (its a career pitfall), I never regretted my decision to pick this apartment building over two others.

Ive lived here for a few months now and Ive had a great experience with Club Merion. I applied and moved from out of state, sight-unseen. The facility is excellent. Sue, Kelly, and everyone at the front office has taken great care of me.

I wasnt quite sure where to start with my apartment search, all I knew was that I wanted to be in a well-built high rise, located in a quiet neighborhood near plenty of nature and trails. I knew as soon as Sue gave me a (rarely done) tour that Club Merion was perfect for me (I loved it, if you cant tell)! The updated kitchen, paid water and Saturday morning donuts were just bonus to the spacious floor plan and plentiful parking. I moved in recently and the reviews are true - *everyone* really is friendly, staff and tenants combined! Its been really comforting to be part of such a nice community...healing, really. Ive been enjoying walking, taking my bike out for a ride and exploring nearby trails (then coming home to a quiet balcony view). I really am grateful to be here.

This is by far the best place I have ever had the pleasure to rent/live. From the amazing management to the great maintenance and everything in between. The office manager, Sue, is definitely the main reason we enjoyed living here as much as we have. She is very personable, caring, and makes sure that all her residents are safe, happy, and enjoying their time here. She genuinely cares about her residents - during the school year my girls would come home and I would buzz them inside but Sue always made sure to keep an eye out for their arrival around the same time every day and I knew If something was wrong or if they didn’t show up after some time she would contact me. She is so caring, generous, and just all around great person. If more rental properties had people like Sue and her team, not only would people be happier, but her and her people alone would be the reason people would stay longer and recommend others. She goes that extra mile to make sure all her people are taken care of both residents and the employees.The maintenance are great guys, they are respectful when entering, working inside, and leaving your residence. They let you know if more work is needing to be done or if the job is complete so you know whether to expect their return. They are very discreet and respectful not to judge those and their lifestyles. During COVID we have been stuck in the house more then ever before so they house wasn’t always in tip top shape but they never made any judgements or anything like that. They are quick to respond and execute all requests. And even as you pass them in the halls they say hello and greet you.You can tell that the people who work here are happy to work there. They enjoy their job and that says a lot these days. You can tell when someone doesn’t like their job, but here at The Merion, that is not the case.I have lived in 5-6 different rental properties and The Merion is the ONLY place I have recommended to others and the only place I can honestly say I enjoy and want to live here - I don’t just stay here for financial reasons it’s all because of the staff and the housing.Having the pleasure and chance to have found The Merion and staying here, I am very happy and will be sad if/when the day comes to leave. I recommend The Merion 110% to people who enjoy a secure and nice place to live with the best management/maintenance team.

Since moving into Club Merion in mid 2018, I have not had not one regret in having done so. The staff are amazingly helpful and genuinely pleasant people, the maintenance crew are always on the ball, and having an on-site gym is a nice amenity. I especially like that the grounds are well-manicured, especially when Spring rolls around. The attention to details are important to me, which is a reason why I appreciate the clean common area, and having security patrol the grounds also serves as a deterrent to criminal mischief. We were in a rush finding an apartment last spring. We called for viewing and they immediately showed us an apartment, answered all our questions and were very helpful. Everybody in the leasing office is very welcoming and always ready to help. We had minor things that needed the maintenance attention and all were fixed the same day.The apartment complex is very quiet, for weeks we thought we were the only people on our floor because we havent heard anybody, but later we met our friendly neighbors in the elevator.It is convenient to every shopping place ( target, walmart, mall of Columbia) and tons of restaurants around.We love it here!It is a safe place that is perfect for the whole family!

Amazing and caring staff! Lived here for the better part of my 20s and couldnt have been happier. Very responsive and communicative. They also do tons of events like free breakfast or lunch for their residents. Just a great place to live!

So I recently moved to Club Merion, and I can truly say this is an incredible apartment complex to live in! Not only are the staff in the leasing office efficient, friendly and easy going, but also the maintenance team is top notch, and will attend to your needs within 45 minutes after a request has been made. Furthermore, the apartment is really quiet and super clean, and combined with the free weekend donuts and muffins, makes this a wonderful place to call home :)

I had just recently graduated college and accepted a job offer in the Columbia area and needed a place to live. I figured it would be no big deal and there would be a hundred places to pick from.. I couldnt have been more wrong. It seemed like every place I looked at (unless I wanted to pay over 2k a month) was infested with rodents, bugs (even snakes!), had a history of constant car window smashings, and/or numerous break-ins. Not to mention the constant monthly fees and upcharges some places inflicted on their tenants on things such as parking and gym use. Finally, if you are lucky enough to find a place with none of these issues (good luck), you will definitely find that the place you chose will rip you off at the end come move out time by pegging you with a replacement carpet because they found a spot on there or a security deposit loss because of a few wall marks. I was beginning to feel uneasy about moving all together after doing my research on the area until one morning Club Merion popped up on my browser. I looked into it further and couldnt find one bad review and thought - there must be something wrong with this place, or Google Review for that matter. I gave them a call and Sue, the Property Manager picked up and was so welcoming and friendly, bending over backwards to answer all my questions and give me a virtual tour of the apartment they had available. I didnt waste any time and signed the lease that day. A week later I moved in and was greeted by both Sue and Kelly, two of the nicest people you will ever meet, as they welcomed me. I am now one month in and couldnt be happier with my place at Club Merion. Place is super clean, safe, quiet, and Sue and Kelly even put out complimentary pastries every Saturday morning. Parking is free and the gym is a one-time charge for life! I was so fortunate to come across Club Merion and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I was required to live in the Baltimore area for work for at least six months prior to being allowed to return to my home state of Iowa for full-time telecommuting. After extensive research of the areas in and around Baltimore, my husband found Club Merion. We called for apartment availability just a few weeks short of when we needed the apartment and were SO FORTUNATE to have obtained an apartment in Club Merion. We were unfamiliar with the area and I was moving to an area alone without my husband, one with a larger populous than I was accustomed to. Safety was of utmost concern, followed by comfortable living. I found both in Club Merion. The staff were spectacular and helpful throughout the process; from answering multiple questions, to video-taping the inside of the apartment for us before we signed the lease. The staff made our experience beyond incredible from the time we moved in until we moved out. The apartment was modern, extremely comfortable, and spacious. The construction of the building allowed for a very quiet environment and rarely did we hear our neighbors.Ive since returned to my home in Iowa, but Ill always consider Club Merion my home away from home. Given the right circumstances, I wouldnt hesitate to make it my home again.

I moved in during the most limited moments of the quarentine, but the management kindly sent me photos and videos of the apartment and the building and answered all my questions, that make me feel confident to move here.Living here is so quiet that sometime I think Im the only one in the building, its peaceful and the apartments are spacious.

Lived here for little over 5 years, moved out because wife and I bought a single family home.Sue, the manager, has been amazing as well as the rest of the Club Merion staff. Whenever Sue wasnt around, Kecia, MK, and Jon definitely took care of things.We rarely had problems with our apartment. The few times we did, often it was just a matter of walking into the leasing office (located in same building) and explaining the problem. 15 minutes later, Hoang or Nho from maintenance are at our door ready to take care of it!Say hi to Anselma too, shes been there longer than we have helping to keep the place clean.This place also has a few community events (outside of pandemics). A great way to meet your neighbors and get some great food.Clean, safe, and friendly, with washer and dryers in each unit. Our little fenced in yard was great for our dog too. Seriously, I highly doubt we couldve found a better place to live for those years.

We had an excellent experience renting at the Merion in Columbia. During the times of COVID I was hesitant to physically go look any apartments. Sue was so helpful in making sure all my questions were answered about the facility including sending me floor plans of the actual apartments. She was very responsive to all my questions, even getting back to me on her day off. They are very safety conscious during the pandemic, roping off the office for social distancing, mask signs and hand sanitizer everywhere. I would highly recommend the Merion!

Club Merion is amazing! The first time I visited the Club Merion, I was impressed by the kindness and friendliness of the leasing office. I decided to rent this apartment right away; however, there is no availability at that time so I had been waiting for three months before I moved in (It is a very popular apartment in this area). It worths the time waiting! The apartment is very comfortable and quiet, and people are always kind.

We moved to Maryland and knew nothing about the area. We planned on moving into another apartment and it just wasn’t what we thought it was from the pictures online. And luckily we stumbled across club Merion and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The club merion is like a big family. Management is AMAZING. They are friendly, attentive, and so compassionate! I’ve never lived in a place where management cared so much about their tenants. Maintenance, though rarely needed, is outstanding! Maintenance requests are fulfilled amazingly fast! There are always events going on (breakfast on the go, barbecues, breakfast with a cop, Easter egg hunts, etc.) our children looked forward to the doughnuts every Saturday morning that management provides! There is so much parking you never have to worry about not having a parking spot. (This seems to be a problem I always seem to encounter at any apartment I’ve ever lived at but not at Club Merion!) There are shopping carts to help bring up groceries. The area is quiet and everyone is very friendly. Location is amazing. You are close to everything! We have recently relocated out of state, and we realized we have definitely been spoiled the past 2 years living at Club Merion! I would definitely suggest living here to anyone!

Club Merion is truly a home away from home. The staff here is amazing and truly cares that everyone is happy. There are fun community events held for residents throughout the year and donuts/muffins every Saturday. The building is well-maintained and there are no problems of noise in the apartment. Maintenance is extremely fast and on the occasions I reported a problem, it took maintenance less than 24 hours to fix things from the time I reported them. The staff also makes an effort to get to know you on a personal level, something I would have never expected. If you are looking to live in Columbia, I give Club Merion my highest recommendation. It is at a great location, is peaceful, and has amazing staff.

By far the best apartment my husband and I have ever rented. We lived there for 15 months and if it wasn’t that we purchased a house, we would’ve stayed there longer. The staff is amazing, the services are incredible and they have all these fun activities during the year that you won’t find in any other place. We plan on visiting them soon and say hi. That’s how amazing they are!

Club Merion has been a joy to stay at. They have friendly, accommodating staff that are receptive to feedback. Its always a pleasure to drop by the front office to speak with them. Ive never wanted to come by the front desk just to say hello at any other apartment complex. The maintenance staff are quick, and have done well by me. Grounds-keeping especially, does an excellent job. Its a beautiful place to live, and is nestled away from the hustle of main roads. The neighbors here have been welcoming, without being intrusive. If youre into community activities, the management here hosts them regularly.I would recommend others to make their home here without hesitation.

I have lived here for over 4 years! This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The customer service is top notch, they always go above and beyond to really make you feel special. They host several catered events for residents throughout the year, and not just snacks and drinks! They recognize your Birthday in a very special way. (who does that?) Any maintenance issues are handled very quickly and efficiently, Ive never experienced such services anywhere I have lived. If you are deciding between a few places, just stop and choose Club Merion now! You wont regret it!

Ive been living at this apartment complex for almost two years and the staff have been nothing but helpful and friendly ever since I moved here and even then they continue to be friendly and professional even now. The Merion is a great place to live, the apartment and the staff are excellent! The building itself is always well maintained and clean throughout. The spacious apartment we rented out was in excellent condition with no signs of any pest or bugs. Garbage disposal is very convenient with garbage chutes on every floor. There is a convenient fully-equipped fitness center that I frequently use when Im too lazy to leave the apartment. There are a lot of great jogging routes nearby and the apartment is located right next to a playground with basketball courts. The staff is always helpful, professional, and friendly. They have community events every couple of weeks and every Saturday provides donuts and pastries in the morning! I cant think of a better place to live in Columbia, being a tenant here has really been a fantastic experience.

I moved to Club Merion in February and I absolutely love it! The apartments are spacious and come with a full size washer and dryer. The building is kept clean and quiet, plenty of parking, no more worries of not finding a spot when I get home! Close to shopping, restaurants,, parks, trails and 32, 29 and 95 for easy access to anywhere else you need to go. In my short time here, I have seen a fun egg hunt game, received valentine candy at my door and i know if it is Saturday there will be donuts available in the lobby!

Weve had a great experience living at Merion since moving here in January. We had to move quickly, and rented the apartment, sight unseen. The office and leasing staff were so helpful and informative, given our unique situation. They helped us find exactly what we were looking for, and turned a stressful situation into a really positive experience. They were responsive and communicative the whole way through. That hasnt changed since weve been here. Weve had a great experience- the staff is friendly and always available, the location is a short drive to everything you need. I lived at Club Merion for over 20 years. When I initially moved in, my plan was to only be there for 1 year. You may wonder how it tuned into over 20 years? When I moved into the Merion, it was not like any apartment complex that I had ever lived in. It felt like a home.First the building is quiet, always super clean, and all of the neighbors are very friendly. The maintenance team usually fixes anything within hours. The staff in the leasing office is outstanding. Their customer service is world-class. I could always tell that they cared about every resident and made sure that everyone felt part of a community. Parking is plentiful and every Saturday morning, there are donuts put out for everyone.There are parties, cookouts, and other special activities for all of the residents. The rental rates are actually cheaper than a lot of the competition in Columbia.I moved because I bought a condo in Ellicott City but if I every decide to move back to Columbia, I would always return to the Merion.Southern Mangement, the company that owns Club Merion, can look to the Merion management and maintenance team as a model of world class excellence and an ongoing commitment to far exceed the expectations of its residents. What more could one ask for? And that is why I ended up staying there for over 20 years.

Club Merion is a great place to live. I secured my apartment sight unseen and couldnt be happier. I accepted a job in Baltimore and had a short period of time to relocated from my residence in Michigan. My online search for apartments in the area resulted in several options but Club Merion stood out. Staff members were extremely helpful and worked quickly to give me detailed information and finalize my application approval.I picked up the keys to my apartment the Sunday before I started work. I was very pleased with the apartment. More space than Id imagined. Great appliances. I completed my move in checklist and submitted it the office in the morning. Everything I identified was corrected before I returned home...WOW! Very responsive and technically sound maintenance staff. Office staff is perfect as well; responsive and professional consistently. The onsite workout facilities have helped me with my personal journey to lose weight and get healthy. I travel a lot for work and returning home to my apartment makes the rough travel days easier. I highly recommend Club Merion. A great place to live. I wish all of my sight unseen ventures, purchases, etc. turned out this way...LOL!

I really like this apartment building. Its relatively small (I think I was told 119 units), plenty of parking, there is a gym, garbage shoots, and elevators. There is a field behind it with a few basketball courts. The area is quiet and everyone exchanges a smile or says hi as you walk around. Everyone in the office is great. Were renting short term but there are residents that have been there for over 10 years. Our apartment is a good size, updated kitchen, with a large bathroom and walk-in closet for each room. Each floor has a sitting area off the elevators and there is a community room which I havent been in yet (but will update when I do). Overall im glad we landed on the Merion to stay for a few months.

It was just under 2yrs ago (3 days before Thanksgiving) when I packed up My family and all our belonging and drove 22 hours Straight to Maryland for a job. We knew nothing about MD nor did we have family or friends remotely close to the area. The apartment we initially had lined up for when we arrived looked great online and in pictures... and that’s about it. The office staff was rude and the area was sketch (I travel a lot for work so my family feeling safe while I was on the road was number one on my list)... After driving for 22hrs straight in a uhaul with my wife and 2 young boys in tow to a place we have never been, I had to make the tough decision and let my wife and kids know we would not be living there and that we didn’t have a place to call home (best decision I could of made for my family!). So instead of unpacking our stuff into our new home and preparing for Thanksgiving, we were searching for a hotel to live out of until we could find a safe community we could call home. I spent the next 3 days calling/emailing every listing I could find in hopes we could find something suitable to hold us over in the meantime and of course couldn’t get one returned phone call or email due to the holidays. Cue the two amazing women (Mary Kay & Sue). The day after Thanksgiving they were hard at work in the office, and I am forever thankful that Mary Kay answered the phone that day! I explained our dilemma to her and she was very sympathetic to our situation and explained she had a new vacancy (so new that the apartment hadn’t even gone through the cleaning and touch ups after someone leaves) but do to our situation she would show it to us anyway. As soon as we arrived I knew we would call this place home... from the genuine/caring staff, the safety features of the property, and the convenient location (32, 29, 95 and in between DC & Bmore) it was perfect for our little family! Sue did her magic and worked with us to make sure we would get approved for the apartment. The phenomenal maintenance crew got the apartment cleaned and move-in ready for us in just one day! With all the headache and stresses that already comes with moving, plus the added stress of not having a place to live, topped with lack of sleep and a bit of depression for flavoring... I was almost positive I had made the wrong decision for my family, but because of the amazing people at Club Merion my decision to move us away from friends and family was justified and the nightmare that was our first 36hrs in MD was finally over. Any problem that we had (things that come with renting) were always taken care of immediately and that is a rare thing for apartment buildings these days! I can say this with great confidence, if it wasn’t for my job transferring us to another state we would still be calling Club Merion our home!To the staff- I can not thank every single one of y’all enough for being so welcoming and hospitable to me and my family! I never (and I mean never!) do these Google review, I always have Kayla do it and y’all know that lol but y’all have been so amazing I had to come and write our hallmark movie story on here!
