This apartment is in the good location. And the manager helped me a lot.Thank you so much!I would like to rent again!
I was happy at first. Then they sent me a renewal offer which made my rent go up significantly if I re-signed. I get this is common practice but inflation is through the roof. The part that made me the most upset is that we are coming out of a pandemic where many people’s lives were changed and many were struggling. It was quite tasteless, and insensitive to go up on rent prices at a time like this.In regards to your reply on this, I did reach out to you all on the resident portal when I got my renewal offer but nobody responded to me. However, I am getting a reply on this google review. I would not have even written this review had someone taken time to reply to my message in the resident portal.
Was driving by and decided to stop in and see a model. I cant remember the lady name but she was very helpful and nice. love the layout of the complex and cozy feel. Hoping to call this place home soon!!
Prepare to be interrogated when applying. I thought I was buying a house instead of renting an apartment.
This is a beautiful complex with mature trees and unique apartments. The residents are quiet and friendly.
I work on their heating and cooling. Nice place and respectable people. If i needed an apartment on that side of town i would apply for one...
The staff are rude and incompetent and the manager is as equally rude. This place is run down with insects and bugs and its overpriced. The staff even lied about pest control coming every Friday to clean house. I would noy recommend this place to anyone. Stay away !!
My eight month stay at 42 Magnolia for CCC was wonderful. The grounds are well kept with beautiful landscaping. The community is quiet and peaceful. The property is just a 5 minute drive from Fort Jackson, perfect for an unpredictable or early morning schedule. It is within walking distance to Publix, Fresh Market, Lowes, and Trader Joes. Management responded quickly to maintenance requests (even late night emergencies) and were extremely flexible in the volatile COVID circumstances. My apartment was clean for move in and any issues were taken care of on the spot or same day. The sound proofing is not great, but the apartments have floor to ceiling windows, which make any sort of sound proofing difficult. I rarely had issues with noise because the community is so quiet. Move out was easy and painless. I have and will continue to recommend 42 Magnolia to anyone looking for an apartment in Columbia!
A great neighborhood to live in. Quiet, clean, and safe environment. Management is always responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone!
Had a great experience living here. Wonderful team and nice apartments. Great customer service - Linda, Joel and the maintenance team bent over backwards to help us several times. Very military friendly.
Great place to call HOME!
Excellent place to live!I looked at 15 separate apartment communities in Columbia before deciding on where to live and 42 Magnolia was the clear winner.Great accommodations, friendly neighbors, all the amenities I want, and most of all: friendly staff.Awesome common area with a pool, grill and tennis court that I use daily. I would certainly live here again.
The complex is quite attractive from the outside, BUT the apartments are small, over priced, in need of updating and renovation (no microwaves in any of the apartments), the complex is overrun with GIANT (2.5 inch) cockroaches at night (that can fly), the front office (especially the manager) is very snotty, the old AC system barely keeps pace with the SC heat AND management allows regular unfettered access to your apartment by some redneck exterminator who shows up unannounced and just barges in. If you move here, keep your valuables put away at all times, secure your personal papers with account numbers and other sensitive information and password protect your PC. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. The positive aspects are that the high prices keep a certain economic demographic out of the community (no homeboys or rednecks except for the exterminator) and theres a Starbucks about a quarter of a mile away.
Great apartment complex with a friendly, dynamic and helpfull team... Always clean, 42 Magnolia is for sure the best residence to have at Columbia.
I have been trying to call and email this apartment community for the past week and have yet to receive a response. The phone calls go straight to an answering service where I have left multiple messages.
Very nice and beautiful apartments and grounds. Friendly staff and professionals.
I lived at 42 Magnolia from 2/15 through 4/16 and greatly enjoyed my stay here. I needed a place very quickly for work and was fortunate that they had a vacancy. As a bachelor, the 1 bedroom apartment was adequately sized for me and my belongings. The thing that made living there so enjoyable was the staff and the location. Work orders were taken care of quickly, the facilities were well maintained and the property always felt safe, even late at night. It has a pool and tennis court (if you like that sort of thing) and, most importantly, were pet friendly. The only real downside I had was with internet, which wasnt the fault of 42 Magnolia. For whatever reason, Time Warner Cable could not seem to properly connect my wireless service there and blamed it on everything from a bad router to an alleged lightning strike. You may way want to go with AT&T instead.
They are so friendly and its a great place to live at.
Pretty apartments at decent prices. Good location close to many places.
Awful Experience!!! I am appalled at the practices of this apartment complex. We secured a lease with 42 Magnolia Spring 2014 and stayed with them until Spring 2016. the entire time we received calls about cars and other items that did not concern us. We ended our lease May 2015 after the apartment had been cleaned thoroughly. Of course the apartment manager was well aware of some issues in the apartment when we moved in. We were informed that a checkout walk through was not necessary. However we received no communication from the apartment management for 8 months until we received correspondence from a collection agency stating we owed money for apartment repairs and cleaning. I have never been so disgusted then with this act by the apartment management to collect money under pretense since there was no notification prior to collection. I question the legality of what has been done here. I would advise any possible tenents to stay clear of 42 Magnolia or any of their affiliates.
Awesome! The staff is amazing, the location is perfect and the landscaping is gorgeous.
Dont let the pictures fool you. this is a horribly run apartment complex with appallingly rude and incompetent office staff. increased crime onsite, filthy interior/grounds, and they will do nothing about it.
Great place to live at!
Super!
