Chip graciously answered all my questions, but unfortunately they werent able to help due to lead times not matching my need. I would recommend them and will definitely consider them again in the future. The only reason my rating is a four star is because they are so busy right now and a bit backed up (but who isnt right now?).

I recently had Davis Heating And Cooling repair my unit that was affected by the recent ice and snow storm. They were able to get here timely, do a great job and fix the problem. I had used Davis heating and cooling years ago at a prior home and they had to replace the whole unit. Their service is top notch, I would recommend them over anybody in town.

We had a new HVAC system installed in our house around the Christmas holidays. I cant say enough good things about the work they did, and the time it took to complete. They were upfront with the cost, and didnt try to upsell us on a more expensive system than we originally had.Our system was starting to show its age and having trouble cooling the house. for the last few years the Tech that came to service our HVAC system always mentioned how old our system was. He told us its working, but its old and showing its age. He suggested we start thinking about having it replaced and decided to finally do that.Install only took half a day, and they were professional and on time. They even let us know they need to come back to check the coolant charge in the spring, as they couldnt really check it when its cold out, to make sure its completely full.overall it was a pleasant experience that makes me glad I chose them for my HVAC service. I would highly recommend them to anyone need anything done.

DAVIS is great. This is the 3rd time we have used them (2 other times as part of annual maintenance plan). Our house and HVAC units are 13 years old and I expected to be told that we needed to replace our main unit. However, the tech found the issue in a few minutes—and didn’t up sell me for a new unit. He did suggest that if I wanted to, he could replace one part, but it wasn’t broken today. I feel like they are honest people! The Davis team scheduled me quickly when I called. Lets face it: when you call for HVAC repair and the temperature outside is in the mid 90s, you want them here yesterday!Zack tested my system to see what was causing the motor failure. Once the problem was identified, he fixed it. No going to the shop to pick up parts; he had them. More importantly... no trying to sell me a new heat pump! Once it was operational, he gave the unit a thorough examination. He found and resolved a leak that had plagued us since we had this unit installed by ARS five years ago. He even explained and showed me the leak site and what hed done to stop it.When Zack presented the bill, he explained each item charged. What I liked best was that the cost was very reasonable!

Absolutely amazing customer service! Our compressor went out in our HVAC unit and Davis H&C had someone come out that same day to look at it. Once we established that we needed a new unit all together they were able to get one ordered and installed the next day! It blew my mind how fast and efficient they were. The house we flipped had ac problem, so I called them up, after they learnt Im not the owner of the property she said they need owner contact them directly. I told her Im the property manager, owners hired me to do this, they wont handle such matters. she said she need asked her boss if thats okay then call me back. of course she never call me back.i found Spring Hill Heating and cooling they response quick and fix the problem right away.I understood each company should have their own policies, but dont set stupid policies, dont be short sighted. I hope this is individual case, they dont treat other people like this.

We’ve been doing business with Chip since he opened & have never been disappointed with the quality of service the professionalism and friendliness of the technicians especially Zack who has been doing our maintenance the last 3 years it’s always a pleasure to see him.

I’ve tried to get them to set up an appointment to repair or replace my split system heat pump for a lmost a week. I spoke with Sarah on my initial call and she was to get with Chip to get back to me. I even filled out the appointment page on their web site. Still no response from them!

I called three times over a week and a half trying to get a quote on an entire system replacement. I never received a call back and each time I called I was told that the salesman was busy or in a meeting and he would call me back. I finally called someone else out and got an estimate and an entire new heating and air system.

We had issues with a bad install from a previous company. Once Davis heating and Cooling was called they were out here addressing the issues. Chip Davis was very informative and professional to a tee. All of the employees were courteous, knowledgeable and informative as well. I nearly made a $1000 dollar mistake until a friend referred me to Davis. After shopping around for the lowest price on a new HVAC unit, the owner sold me the exact same model as the other guys for $1000 less. In addition, the 2 employees did a great job installing at my home in Spring Hill. They were very professional and kind. They did not look homeless or wreak of cigarette smoke like the other companies I met with. They also did not try to up-sell me like the other guys (like duct cleaning or an $800 air scrubber).Davis got me a new unit installed the next day (on a 17 degree morning). There was a small issue with the thermostat but they replaced it the next day.Shop around, but be sure Davis Heating and Cooling are on your list. They will save you money and do it right. Highly recommended.

I dont usually leave reviews, but these guys deserve one. Mr. Davis is very helpful and his guys do top notch work. I bought a whole new unit with a air handler from them and Mr. Davis took the time to look through and give me as many options as possible with prices that fit my budget. The guys came in and got out within just a couple hours. They were fast and cleaned up everything. A few months later I had troubles with the thermostat, I called Mr. Davis and he sent someone right over within 15 mins. They showed me what was wrong and explained what happened and fixed it free of charge.... If your looking for someone local to work on your HVAC needs or your looking to purchase a new system Davis Heating & Cooling better be your first choice

I called Davis Heating & Cooling to check out a noise from my heat pump unit. I had recently purchased an older home and had another company come and service the unit for simple maintenance and given an ok...but its been noisy and constantly running, so this is why I called another company, this time Davis Heating & Cooling... SO glad I did! Cory was the tech sent out and he immediately identified the fan motor being the issue, helped me sort out the thermostat problem I was having (found the batteries corroded in there) AND Cory asked if I’d had the unit serviced anytime recently and being that I had just the month prior (by McNees #thumbsdown), He showed me what he’d found once he opened the unit outside: a huge, petrified, fried rat that had been electrocuted there as well as years of cobwebs. So that told me I was totally ripped off by the guys that worked for McNeese. So glad to get such fast response, help, advise and repair of my unit at a good price!! Best accolades to Cory for being such a great HVAC expert! I know who Ill call for HVAC help.

Money for nothing!7/21/14 paid Davis $1075.00 to seal ductwork, service a/c, insulate attic crawl door, due to house not being cool. Davis failed to seal ductwork properly. Instead of doing their job correctly, Davis just taped up a few areas of the insulation and put some type of mastic on and left. We called them back a few days later when we could feel the cold air coming from the ductwork in the garage once again. They put more mastic on, said that was all they could do, and left. They never followed up with us. Our garage and basement are cool in the summer, but not upstairs in the living area, thanks to their failure to fix the problem.Quite some time later, another company told us that Davis should have pulled the insulation off the ductwork, sealed the ductwork with tape and possibly mastic, then put insulation back (the man with the other company was shaking his head and almost laughing at their poor job). Hopefully, we can save up and have a reputable company fix it right sometime.
