I’ve used 4 different companies over the last couple of decades. 2 of them were your most known companies. However, this company right here has been the absolute best by far. I’ve used them for at least 7 years now. I needed them today and they came out and fixed my problem. It was great to get the cool air running back into our home. Thanks for everything!

Was told by my service provider our compressor was going bad and would need replaced at some point. So I thought its a 13 year old system lets replace it now before the heat of the summer. Their quote was triple what Air Necessities quote was. I had 4 other companies come out and while a couple of the quotes were close Air Necessities remained the best quote. Install was quick and easy. The supervisor came by the next day to check the installation. So far so good. I wasnt even sure the new system was working as its super quiet. But the temp surely changed quickly with the new system. As with my many other reviews, I will update if necessary if I have any issues but for now they are a 5 star company and I highly expect they will continue to remain as such in my opinion.

We called and they came the same day. The diagnosis and work were both fast. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. My only beef is charging the diagnostic fee on top of the parts and labor repair costs. Many other companies would waive it if they completed the repair work too.TLDR: great in a pinch, otherwise wait for someone who will waive the diagnostic fee

Michael performed PM in timely manner. Discovered burnt contactor and replaced after consulting if wanted to replace now or later without any pressure. Have been using Air Necessities for years. Very pleased with their promptness and notifications if ever a delay.

They offer a maintenance contract in which they actually spend time and really check the system out. They are easy to get to come to the house when an issue occurs.

Wow! I was blown away by Robbys quick, professional service when my AC quit working. I was so impressed I decided to sign up for a maintenance agreement. When it comes to heating and cooling, Air Necessities is the only place I will go to.

We hired this company to install a new system in our home with duct work.When we 1st started shopping for a new system we were looking for the cheapest system available but thank goodness they educated us on the downsides of the low level brands. We have been in this home for over 20 years and its never felt so good.Not to mention the dust level is probably 80% less. Loved the whole process and would tell anyone to use them.

After paying their diagnostic fee, I was told by Tim that he would follow up the next day.. He never did contact me. I called the office to see if he would be coming back that day. I was told they would have to talk to him since they showed nothing about me on the books. I waited an hour and called back. I was then told they didnt know if he could come that day because they still hadnt talked to him. I called that evening to find they blocked my phone number. It was 92 degrees inside my home, all I wanted was the courteous of a yes or no we will fix your unit but they couldnt even do that. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

So happy to have given this company a chance. My neighbors highly recommended me to call them for a service call. On Friday. I actually need a new unit. I figured it would be a week or two before it would get put in. However, my unit is going in today. For some 13 years I’ve been a customer of Air Necessities they have installed My heating and air condition unit and Serviced it. they always call and let me know ahead when they will be coming to service the system and they do this twice a year. they have an excellent reputation. I rely on their experience and professionalism.

Ive been a customer for years. The biggest reason to stay is customer service. They have been able to provide timely service all times of the year. If any service call required extra charges(after hours) everything was disclosed up front. Always polite, great communication on service times and knowledgeable service about my equipment.

We initially call them to give us an estimate on a new system because our current customer said our was shot. The gentleman that came out on a Saturday said we can’t replace it today because the supply houses are closed, but do you mind telling me what the other company said was wrong with it because the system looks fairly new. When I told him I wasn’t sure.He walked outside to check it out turns out all I needed was a capacitor! Unbelievable be careful who you guys use out there the other companies quote was over $8000 now my unit is running for less than $160. Of course me and my wife would highly recommend Air Necessities.

Awesome company!! Had no air and they sent out a technician with in a couple hours which wasn’t bad considering it was what felt like 100 degrees. Two guys showed up and fixed my issue. Very professional. We hired them to replace 2 commercial units. While they experienced some difficulties with one of the units, they persevered and delivered an excellent product. They really went the extra mile to see that things were completed professionally.

I take great pride in giving a review of the excellent service I received from Air Necessities. My first encounter was with technician, Robbins James. He was very professional and prompt. He diagnostic the problem, dead compression (unit 26 years old). He made recommendation to replace unit and mentioned they have a maintenance program to check system twice a year. Within an hour after he left, I received a call from Chuck Tull., manager. Not only did he look at my unit to confirm diagnosis, he when under theach house to check the duct work was ok. He also stated due to age, Unit should be replaced. Chuck made me aware of all my options to be sure that I get the right system, a within two days, I got a new heat pump, 10 year parts and 1 year labor warranty as well as a new thermostat. To top that off, Chuck made sure as knew about a rebate program that I was entitled to and forward the necessary paperwork to me. Again, from the tech, to thenintsllers, everyone was professional, punctual and they cleaned up afterward. Chuck came back to inspect that work was done correctly. He made sure that I understood the working of the new themostst. I will highly recommend Air Necessities to all my friends and family. Thank you.

Tim and Air Necessities were life savers today. Our house was affected by a lightning strike that knocked out one of our units. Tim arrived early this morning and quickly diagnosed the issue. When the tech arrived, he seemed as though he did not want to be here. I figured it was because it was hot and he may be having a long day so I offered water. He immediately declined and was short. If it wasnt for my kids and my home needing out AC fixed asap, I would have not spend the $500+ do get it fixed. Which afterwards we still had the same issue but figured it out ourselves.

I wanted to replace my 23 year old system with a new high efficiency system with up to date refrigerant before it broke down. Got five bids. Air Necessities was clearly the best on price and professionalism. Had some issues later with a factory defective evaporator. The Management went above and beyond to take care of the issues promptly. In my opinion they are a cut above the competition that I saw. Recommended them to my girl friend who had her unit old replaced as well. Shes very satisfied to have a high efficiency unit. Much lower power consumption for cooling.

Called Air Necessities out to help my 75 year old mother I thought she needed a new system. They came out within 1 hour and for the system only need a “Contactor”. We were happy that they were so honest and just have a technician come out and fix it for around $190. We will definitely use them in the future.

Just hired Air Necessities to install two new heat pumps. One at my daughters house and the other at my home. They also replaced all my old duct work with new. Overall they did an excellent job at both locations. At my home I was truly amazed with the entire job from the duct work to the heat pump installation. They worked quickly and very professional. They cleaned every speck of trash and hauled everything away. I could not be more pleased with the total results. They designed the new duct work to operate more efficient and believe me it works great. I highly recommend this company to any and all that need a new heat pump or duct work or just a service call. I live in the upstate of SC and my mom lives in Columbia. Her air went out during the bad weather this past weekend. Im so thankful for this company. We had three companies try to resolve our zoning issues and quite frankly it’s been a nightmare. They sent their senior technician out and even though it took him a while it was resolved in the same day. We signed up on their service agreement program to get priority service in the future.

We had Air Necessities come out for a second opinion on or heating system. We were told by another company we needed to replace the whole system at $8,900. Air Necessities said all we had was a bad motor. They did say our system was old but could be repaired for $495. Obviously we will use them from now on.

No A/C....YIKES!!! Tim Robinson came out for the service call. On time and very polite. Figured out what was wrong, explained it to me (condensation pump) and replaced it immediately!!! Tim is a great asset to the company!!! Im cool and comfy once again thanks to Tim Robinson!!!

Air Necessities took such good care of me when my unit needed to be replaced. I talked with three companies before selecting them based on their price as well as their recommendation for which unit would best fit my needs. I also was able to secure interest free financing for three years through them. I absolutely recommend them and they will be my air conditioning guys for life!

My wife and I bought a house in March of 2016 and discovered the home needed a completely new heating and air system. While we did not have pay for this new system as part of closing we did receive quotes from multiple HVAC companies and Air Necessities offered the best pricing (much lower for the same exact equipment in one instance). Their service was exceptional and they were able to replace the system quickly and neatly (I am a stickler for cleanliness after a job is performed). I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

On Friday night, my AC unit stopped cooling. I called the 24 hour line. They were booked on Saturday, but told me they would come at 9 am on Monday. Tim showed up at 9 am sharp, diagnosed the problem as a dead capacitor, and had my air cooling by 9:45 Monday, for a reasonable price. Great service!

I had a bad heat exchanger and my old company just told me I needed a new system. Air Necessities said they also recommended a new system but I just wanted to repair it. They said no problem and get this it was pouring down rain and they put up a tent and fixed it for me in the rain! the service mans name was Dan but it was just a great experience all the way around. Would never do business with them. I am a 73 year old lady and it was 100 degrees outside I was standing by their door to get shade to keep from passing out while waiting for city bus. Just had service done at my home by Mr. Tim Robinson. Came home the previous night and my AC upstairs wasnt cooling. Put in a call to Air Necessities at almost 8pm and spoke with them about getting service ASAP. They put me down for the following morning and said they would give me a 30 minute notice. I came home from work today after I received a call from them and Tim drove up right behind me as I was parking. He was very professional and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem quickly and swapped out a part for me that got the system back up and running in less than 30 minutes for a price far less than I was expecting. I am very pleased with Tims work and Air Necessities responsiveness. This is the second time Tim has been at my home in the last few months and he has done a great job both times (I have two separate units that are both about 10 years old and have needed work).
