Stole my recycle bin can the day of pick up. No answer and no call back from company. It took then 2 weeks to deliver the can back and give me a call back. Another time they didnt even come. Called and left multiple messages. After 2 weeks I had to actually find their office to walk in to cancel. The front desk woman was nice, however, was quick to just cancel and not try to rectify the situation.

So I wouldn’t say that they were awful. But we moved into a new place I had it scheduled to have a trash can delivered the day after and we never received it. Nor did we receive any info on why or when we would. So ultimately we decided to cancel and when I called the guy who cancelled was very kind and it was very fast so I really appreciate that.

Only two weeks with this company to find that the adverse reviews are true. The very first pickup was missed and required calls and emails to fix it. The website indicated the container was serviced, the driver noted the container wasnt found and my camera showed no truck ever passed by. Second pickup day had the garbage removed but not the recycling container. Now three days passed and being told that recycling is not offered at my address, this after paying up front for the recycling service and having the recycle container delivered. No return call or email received in response to my inquiry but required yet another call in attempt to fix the issue. Conclusion: this company has enough excuses to fill at least two 96 gallon containers.

They seem to skip or miss my pick up more often than actually picking it up. I’d cancel with them but don’t want to pay cancellation fee. Terrible!!

Zero stars! They miss us twice a month, will be looking for a more reliable company. Honestly stay away from Waste Management, and good luck getting to talk to customers service! they will not answer and will not call you back! Are you going to refund us @Waste Management???? Fire all your customer service and start picking up the trash! Thiefs!!!!!

Not even a month ago I signed with this company for my garbage pickup. It took almost 2 weeks to receive the trash can, just the day before their pick up rout. I supposed to be receiving a weekly service but last Wednesday I received an email telling me about pick up reschedule which is pushing my trash another 7 days before they come back, so that its a bi-monthly pick up for the same price. I changed services from WASTE connections which it was an awfully company to this new company. There ia not difference between them, they are the same in the way they do business, No a bit of responsability to their customers. I believe in paying for a service, Im not getting it for free...so customer services should be their priority number 1. Someone in the government needs to start monitoring these companies. Stay away from it if you dont want your garage or front porch smelling like trash for 2 weeks.

Was sent collection notices saying I was past due. Called the company 3 separate times to get an explanation how 2 weeks after making a $150 payment I was behind when they charge $45 per quarter. 3 separate times their customer service line had over a 20 minute wait. They offer a callback service that I sent my number into 3 times. Still waiting on a call back nearly a month after my last call. Terrible customer service, Im mindblown that this company operates like this. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Worst service ever received. Signed up the service about one month ago, and never got the Trash can delivered. Chatted online several times, and each time they committed a date and then missed. Also missed the pickup or delayed the pickup serval days later without any reason. Wondering how they run the business with such service.

Very very unreliable on pickup days here in Colorado Springs. Have missed 4 pickup days in 4 months. That’s almost 25% miss rate. Not too great.

They blame non-pick-ups on weather when other services are running fine, then tell you to leave can in the street for days and still dont pickup. Just had to go through a 90 minute phone call where they transferred me around a bunch - then offered me a lower payment to keep their service. When I said no they hit me with a $75 cancellation fee - worth it to finally be done with them. Ridiculous.

Like every trash company in Colorado Springs that Ive tried, this one also fails to pickup on scheduled days, they offer only bi-weekly recycle pickup and to cancel they force you to call them as if the internet was never invented (even though they are happy to let you sign up online).

Customer service with WM has always been pretty bad. Ive typically had to call multiple times to get anything corrected. Its also problematic that they only pick up recycling every other week, since that is the majority of the waste I produce.They miss pickup days semi-regularly, but recently missed my pickup day 2 weeks in a row. I couldnt work around this one week, resulting in me having to leave my rotting garbage in my garage for an extra week. They mustve sensed my irritation and decided to increase the cost of my service by 11% right after that 2 week period. I cancelled the day after receiving that bill, and they never even asked why I was cancelling, just told me theyd be charging me $75 to pick up my bins. Ill recover that cost after 2 quarters of using Springs Waste Systems...so I can live with that.

Terrible company! Do not use!! They deserve to go out of business!! We have had their service for one month, and they have picked up our trash once, and it took 3 weeks to get a trash can. Obviously they don’t want our business, so I will help them out on my end!

Since singing up for this service, I have had to call every week to remind them to pick up either our recycling or trash. Last time around, their driver took a bag of trash from our bin and hung it on our fence? Who does that? Super passive aggressive for no reason. As soon as they open back up on Monday I am going to call and let them know their bins are in the middle of the street on the corner of 14th and W Colorado. Come get them. I’ll find someone else.

One star is being generous. It must be a company model to lie. Every single time we called another customer service rep lied about why the service was a mess. It happened so often it cant be a personality issue. The managers or trainers must be encouraging this environment...or dont care enough to quality check. We moved in, ordered two cans, and signed up for weekly service including auto pay. Couldnt be easier right? We waited three weeks and the cans never got delivered (only picked up trash 2 of those weeks, no explanation!?)...we payed the bill and got charged $75 for delivery but still no cans. We called and the rep said they got delivered and we even have a picture they must have been stolen. But when we asked for the pictures he said it would be another department...couldnt connect us to that department...hmmm. Also, we live at the end of a dead-end dirt road with a total of three neighbors. Stolen? Right...So called the next day and the rep said taking pictures was not something they usually do but they could rush cans to us...never happened. Called again to fire them and now they said the problem was because they dont service our area. But they drive down our road, past our house every week to pick up trash at the neighbors, and picked up our trash twice?!? What happens when a company gets so big they cant deliver service to the areas they claim to cover? For us, we go with Tri-lakes Disposal. Local company, delivered cans the same day we called. They know how to take care of customers and the price is better. Check them out if you are on the N.Side of the Springs.

Terrible company... customer service is usually cranky, the mobile app stopped providing schedule updates a year ago, they occasionally just miss the recycle day with no explanation and the normal recycle schedule is only every other week. To make matters worse the products they do recycle are very limited which kind of defeats the purpose of paying for someone to recycle. One time my trash driver tagged me for a bulk pickup for a small pallet that was cut into pieces and bundled next to the can. This could have been grabbed in one lift by one guy and they just left it there and called it a bulk pickup and customer service said that would be $40 and they wouldnt come back to get it. Finally got the nerve to switch to best way and called to cancel service. Apparently the only payment schedule is quarterly and my auto pay does this in advance. Im now paid up for two more months and they wont pro-rate or refund any portion of the money even though theyll be happy to cancel service and pickup their cans tomorrow. They explained to me that its my fault for not reading the second page of their service agreement regarding that policy. Okay waste management, you guys can keep my two months of payments for unperformed services and retrieve your cans but just know that your policies, bad service, recycle schedule/handling and obvious disregard for customer care is why you wont get my business for the years going forward.

Every time I called customer service to complain that my recycling wasn’t picked up, they say I have the wrong calendar. When you don’t pick up my recycling two weeks in a row that’s on you. I’m going to start looking for a different trash pick up provider.

I set up service for my duplex to make it easier on the tenants. I would have to call 1-2 times a MONTH because they would not pick up the trash. First explanation was the can was too full. Second explanation was the can was too heavy. So I had another can delivered and I still couldnt get them to pick up trash. It has currently been THREE weeks since the last time trash was picked up. I have called and e-mailed the company, and still got the same result. With the e-mail I was told I would be contacted, a week later, and still havent been contacted. Cancelled my service after this last call to customer service. WM is the most expensive trash service in town and I would not recommend the company.

This company says theyll come by every week they come by about once a month. And if its not your recycle time they just dont pick that up at all! first time I thought it would be great because the guys pick up the trash came by and asked where Id want it to be picked up. I told them at the front of the house since I have no gate in the back. They said thats fine they came by two weeks and then they didnt come by for a month and a half and after that, I would put my garbage way out almost the middle of the street. They still never picked it up. And my recycle which was supposed to come every other week, came twice and I three month. Three and a half really. I really would be swayed you from hiring this company to be your garbage collector!

It is RIDICULOUS that El Paso/Teller Countys Waste Management has made it nearly impossible to recycle. This company is a huge profit making company but their greed and lack of concern for our planet is criminal. We and thousands of others used to recycle off of Las Vegas and Filmore until they closed down that facility forcing us to drive out East to recycle, until NOW they ONLY allow recycling on Weds & Friday until the bins are full. People work on those 2 days! In Teller County they now charge to drop off recycling! In most other cities they are proud to offer recycling but not in Colorado Springs and Woodland Park! Europeans think Americans dont care about our planet because our landfills are polluting the earth and the air. Recycling in Europe is part of daily life. It is EASY! Waste Management ONLY cares about profits. They are DESPICABLE and local government seems not to care either!

This company has not picked up our recycling bin in at least a month. When I contacted costumer service the woman explained she would have him come pick up our recycling which never happened. I called back 2 days later and another woman told me our recycling bin wouldnt be picked up until Aprils 4th. Overpriced and customer service is a complete joke!!!! Best way is where its at people.

I was with Waste Management for years until recently my bill keep increasing until I was paying over $100/quarter for standard residential trash service. When I called to cancel my service and go with a new service I was never informed of their NEW POLICY that was a no-refund policy. They said I received a notice in my email and that was all they had to do in order to uphold the policy. They did not have to inform me of it when I was cancelling my service. I used 1 out of 3 months of this quarter which means there were keeping 2 months worth on my money without providing any services to me. When I asked them to at lease meet me in the middle because they were also wrong in not mentioned this new policy while I was cancelling my service they refused. They did not offer me my money back, they did not offer me a discount or to apply this money to another service (ei. recycling, dumpster, or bagster service) instead they said you can either continue your recent service with us or we get to keep the unearned income. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS! I never heard of a company not willing to do anything to rectify a situation. Their Corporate Complaints department refused to do anything, AND they call themselves WM Cares. NO WASTE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE. THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AND THEY HAVE MADE A NEW POLICY TO KEEP YOUR MONEY!

BUYER BEWARE.....Apparently they dont care about customer service. They have been over charging me for years. I called to get a new container, they said I never had a container. Spoke to customer service to get a credit, the supervisor was supposed to call me back within an hour. Never heard from them. Called back today and they just put me on eternal hold. They are a trashy company, perfect business for them.

Needs LOADS of improvement! Recycle driver is an incompetent & regularly fails to make his pickup. It takes an act of God for them to make it up to their customers. Also, found hidden fees after the first year.I think Ill take my business elsewhere. Dont waste your time or your money.

For the past 2 years they pick up what ever I put out. Sometimes not very often they will grab my can next to the house when I forget. I wish they would do that more. Billing descripencey cleared up by an awesome customer service rep. I dont see why these reviews are so low.

They left a bunch of wood and branches beside the trash can even after i called to ask if it was ok to put it out with the trash. The representative told me to go ahead and leave it out there and they would notify the driver. I also received a bill before i had even started my service for $86 with all kinds of taxes and service fee as well as many more fees that were not explain at the start up. When i called to ask about the fees and cancel the service I received a really bad attitude. Not a pleasant experience with this company. Bestway disposal is the way to go.

They lie about how much your bill is then they add a bunch of fees to make your bill even hire I pay the amount for 6 months in ellicott for only 3 months here in the springs I was only 3 weeks late on my bill and they cut off service and then wanted to charge me a $50 fee....are you kidding me this trash company sucks and I would NOT recommend them!!!!
