After them using an excuse of not being able to get to my trash that wasn’t out on the curb, a week later of course I had 2 weeks worth of trash. They emptied the bins but the remaining trash was left. They stated it was not by the curb. Ummmm how close to the curb do you need the pile of trash when it is at the curb to begin with?!Horrible customer service!
We have an ordinance concerning bears where trash cannot be left out at night and the pick up time is all over the place with these guys. Sometimes they arrive early, sometimes late, and if you cans arent out then youre out of luck for that week. Its an automated truck so if every item is not in a bag there will be trash that flies out and no care what happens to anything that doesnt go into the truck. No additional bags allowed. Spend the extra $1 a month for a better service.
Ive used this company for about 4 years now, have had to call the office a few times receiving quite efficient and courteous assistance. I recommend them to friends because its worth speaking out when good service and fair pricing are provided consistently.Thank you, Rocky Mountain Disposal.
Ive had Rocky Mountain Disposal for over 14 years and never had a problem. Can wore out they replaced it right away. They only take three holidays the entire year so the trash is always picked up. I cant remember ever having a missed pick up, ever.
Terrible. Called to set up service Monday. Took money out of my account. Assured we would have new trash cans Tuesday. Wednesday no one will answer the phone. Called them 10 times. (Did not bring my trash cans) Their website claims excellent customer service. I emailed them as well since I couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the phone. And they emailed me back saying I needed to contact my “hauler.”
Just burn your money and pile garbage on the side of your house. Itll be the same result as giving RMD your business.They constantly miss pickups. I have a recycling bin that hasnt been picked up in over a month. Every time I call, Im given a new excuse.They never inform customers of schedule changes and there are so many schedule changes. With this company, you leave it on the curb for a 2-3 days in hopes they will perform the service you paid them for.
They ruined their own trash can and have missed weeks of pickups! Can’t reach anyone when I call(during business hours)... If I could give negative stars I would. They were great until a year ago..... wonder what changed? It definitely was not for the better 🤬
Missed trash pick up on 7 Nov. Was told they would be by same day we spoke 8 Nov., to pick up trash. It’s now Sunday, 10 nov., and trash is still outside. Customer service is poor. When calling the business during BUSINESS hours, it goes straight to their answering machine. Left a message, and the owner called back. He spoke to my wife, and was very rude. As a retired military veteran, I have never experienced such poor customer service, and overall service. Their schedule does not reflect they were not picking up on 7 Nov. Owner said over phone, they still have a week for pick up. Really?!! So, as a customer, we have to have trash by curbside by 7am day of pick up. But, they can skip picking up, and have a week?

Rocky Mtn Disposal has been reliable and a good disposal service for us this past year. There was one no show last year for weather, understandable. The guys are always nice when we see them, and they often put the empty cans near the driveway after they’ve picked up, a plus for us as seniors. Their prices are fair for weekly service and twice monthly recycle. I recommend them for their good service and fair rates.
NOT good at customer service. Left multiple voice mails and called several times during hours listed as business hours. Didnt pick up recycling on posted date and gives no information as to when they will pick it up... When the guys do come they do a good job, but some information would be nice. If snow is going to disrupt service than they should inform customers as to when they will try again.
They did not pick up my trash on Friday Feb. 14, I called this morning and when they responded to my call, they informed me that my trash can was supposedly halfway down my driveway, when I argued, they changed their story and said that they didn’t pick it up because they previous owners of my house used to put it in that spot when it was empty. (I’ve owned this house for a year now) they were rude, disrespectful, and just terrible customer service. DO NOT use them for your trash needs.
Invoice bill is different amount due from amount due when I call in to pay over the phone. Depending on which female customer service I get, depends on the total amount due and if she is polite or not. Price changes every six months and the kind of service. They offer 3 types of service. Every time I have one, someone changes ir, so they can charge me more. This is ALL the time. I am looking for new service as I write this. The men who pick up the trash seem A-OK. Could do better at making sure all the trash was taken out of my container before returning my container. Also, truck has a bad oil leak and has left so much oil in the street, that now its on my driveway from me coming and going. But they are here to pick up, rain or shine at the same time. They arent the worst company I have had. But still looking for new service.
Ive had a couple different companies... And every company is going to have their ups and downs. My guys always bring up the cans to the top of my driveway and today they even came to the top of the driveway and got my cans which I truly appreciate considering this is the second week I forgot to put them out.. I havent had to deal with customer service yet but hopefully I wont need to... But their prices are great and the guys I deal with on a weekly basis have been awesome.
Consistently “forgets” to pick up my trash weekly. I’ve never had a waste disposal company fail so bad at picking up trash. I would not recommend them to anyone who is new to Colorado Springs. If you read the other bad service review below you’ll notice the company never responds to their unprofessional actions. Take your business else where
Drivers leave residential cans in the street. They actually broke their own can because driver did not even know how to pick it up properly. When I called to get help with the problems, was told thats what they do. Was told they are not required to put can back on sidewalk and they would try to replace my broken trash can. Since there are less expensive trash services that want to do a good job and provide good service, I cancelled Rocky Mtn Disposal and Im now saving $15 each quarter. If you dont want rocky service, stay away from Rocky Mtn. Disposal.
We have been with rocky my trash for three years. The first year it was fine I would have my trash can out before 7:00 am or even the night before and wouldn’t be picked up till 1:30 every week. And I didn’t mind that but then it would be later and later in the day. Sometimes I would call and asked why my trash was not picked and most of the time they didn’t know why or they didn’t want to tell me I don’t know. So last week trash was picked up at 8:30am I was like wow that’s early and today they only picked what they wanted there was two trash bags outside the trash can and they picked up that but not what was inside the trash can. Can’t wait to call them tomorrow and find out what happened.
This is the worst company ever! Do not use this company they charge you for extra trash that they failed to pick up the previous week.they have no contactwith their drivers...like cell phones are non existant and their customer service SUCKS!
This company always does a great job. They’re there every day they should be and even bring the emptied cans up to the house during inclement weather such as high winds or snow obstructions. They let me forget about trash collection, they just work!
Similar complaint as other customers, except we paid our bill and they have no record of it. Checked our banking records and they never applied it. Took our trash can, charged us a late fee refused to fix the problem. Admitted to internal computer problems which led to lost or misapplied payments which they were dealing with. Highly incompetent and negligent in dealing with customers or managing customer accounts. Filed a complaint with the BBB. Rocky Mountain never responded. If they send the late fee to collections we will be filing a CFPB complaint in hopes of having what seems like fraud investigated. BBB response bellow. We canceled service, paid for what we used but will not pay their wrongfully applied late fee. Great Company. Couple hiccups here and there with pickup but they always seem to help out pretty well. Some trash being left behind on the street sometimes after pick up. No big I just pick it up. Great rates and helpful staff. I always reccomend these guys.
Terrible service. They haven’t picked up our recycling in over a month. Despite sending a letter around Christmas time that they’d been bought out and would get recycling every week, instead of every 2 weeks, they still haven’t picked up our recycling in over a month. When my husband called regarding this, no apology, no offer to refund the $ they charge for monthly recycling fees. All they did was acknowledge that they haven’t been getting it but that eventually, and they don’t know when, they’ll start weekly pick up. They have other practices that are outdated and not consumer friendly. They will not pick up a single extra bag of seasonal trash- not from Christmas, or leaf raking if you don’t. 1. Call first. 2. fill out a form on the phone *days* before your trash will be picked up 3. Leave a check or cash in an envelope where they will grab it as extra fees for your extra single bag of trash. If they don’t see the envelope, you are SOL. If they can’t pick up your trash due to the weather, you are also SOL because they will not do extra pick ups and they will charge you for a weekly service they don’t provide.
The customer service is terrible. Didnt let me know that my trash would be picked up a day later than normal and when I called about it, the girl was rude. Definitely canceling my service and finding a new company.
Debbie and her services were atrocious, she disrespects disabled vets by breaking a promises here. I was told to have the trash out by seven, that’s it. Because it was not exactly on the curb they didn’t pick it up not only that but they don’t explain to you that it needs to be on the curb or they will not pick it up.I switched from best way because it was a bigger container for a similar price. Now I’ll have to cancel them because of their horrible service. Dispute this on my bank card and switch back. If you do go with them just know you will regret it and after a few months you will remember this commment and how you should have listened to the customer instead of believing this trashy company. : )If you see the pictures you will see that I paid on October 3 and it is now October 17 and this is what my trash looks like. The trash has been sitting in the same spot for days. Now the Animals get into it, my neighbors are complaining, simply a nightmare dealing with this company.

Im sure even I would say, who cares what the trash men are like, as long as they pick up my trash?. But Ive been educated - the team of guys that picks up my trash every week is beyond awesome. Their upbeat happy attitude makes me feel like Im in Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. They work as a team, they get things done. 9 times out of 10 they even bring my trash can back to the top of the driveway, or on the rare day we forget they bring it down for us. If one of us happens to be home and leaving the house, they will even make conversation. That is one classy upbeat group of dudes.I think the recycling team sometimes forgets to pick up our recycling (and we have a lot!), or is at least a little unpredictable on time.I can look past all that because there is something awesomely special about a team of people (the trash guys) who put their best foot forward and give whatever job they are given their all. They make it look fun :)Just as a side note, we live in Fountain and have been using them for about 3 years now. I see some negative reviews so maybe other people have different teams?
They did drop off bins early Monday morning!We bought a house and the former owners used this company for their trash so we decided to keep them and I called and set everything up for us to continue service. We paid and setup automatic payments well today they took the trash cans. Will more than likely be looking for a new trash service company!Called they said we’d have new bins by Monday.
Rocky Mountain didnt pick up my trash last week, even though it was at the curb the night before. I used the chat line to ask why and was supposed to get a call back. I also left a voice mail. I didnt get a call back from either message. I just hope they are not out of business since Ive already paid for the next 3 months of service...
This company are experts in exstorsion, I was told that if I didnt pay my final payment of 67 dollars I wasnt allowed to cancel my service with them. Im a veteran and this is how they thank me or others for their service. They are very disrespectful and do not deserve the money of people that sacrifice for their country so if you are a veteran do not use their corrupt service.
Rocky mountain disposal is new to us and is servicing our community, which has older residents, they are very good about rolling the trash cans up near the house when finished which helps a lot. The garbage pick up seems to be very consistent, so far I’m pleased!
Best company that we have had. Super reasonable pricing and the office staff is wonderful to speak with whenever I need help! The drivers also run my trash can back up to my house and have always been pleasant!

I have never paid my bill late to them ever and yet they sent me my bill demanding payment as if I was late.
When we signed up a year and a half ago the service was decent and I was told to have the cans out by 730. We keep them 12 feet from the curb up against the house in plane sight. They would always bring the cans back to the house and when I missed it a couple times they would come grab them and bring them back to the house. In the last few months the service has really dropped off. Without any notice there would be a change, they started coming down our street before 7 am waking up the neighborhood slamming the cans around and leaving them out by the curb, or if I missed getting them out they just skip us which means the recycling has to overflow for another 2 weeks for the next pickup. Trying to contact them is pointless and it takes days to get a response via email. At the end of the current billing cycle I’ll be canceling and going with a reputable company.

We have had Rocky MTN Disposal for years. Their service is great without the extra cost of others that do the same. When I forget to pull my trash out to the curb, they run get it from the side of the house. They also return it to the top of the driveway for me after picking it up each week. Very happy customer.
I would give the place 0 stars if it was an option. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. They are argumentative and they could give two craps about what the customer has to say. Even their manager Beth is argumentative and states that its the company policy to collect a $25 dollar cancellation fee if your unhappy with your service. REALLY?!? horrible horrible horrible. Waste Management is a great company and they are far cheaper than these guys anyways. DO NOT use them at all. The only people in this company that do not deserve this review are the actual guys that collect the garbage. They do a nice job and they are pleasant. Their customer service department is going to run them out of a job.
Terrible customer service. Have had at least 6 pickup issues in a year.On 4.10.19 we called these guys asking if they will be picking up our recyclables and they guaranteed us they would. We left town and came back in the morning to find ALL of our recyclables in other peoples yard and the bin a block away. A neighbor complained so we called rocky mountain...The man answering the phone was rude and said, what are we supposed to do? He also stated they didnt have time to contact the customers to let them know they wouldnt be out. He also told my wife, well Im not going to apologize when it sounds like its not going to do any good.Let me know if anyone wants a transcript of the call. Didnt try to remedy issues at all. He was more than eager to cancel our services.Edit 20 April 19 - Made 2 attempts to have a supervisor call me via their website and have not received a message or call. Company clearly does not care about their customers.
Wont take can back to house like we pay for, even after calling multiple times. The woman that answers phone is very nice and helpful, but she can only do so much when the GM wont call back his customers or take it up with his employees. Stars for for the nice lady.
We have had service with Rocky Mountain Disposal for years. No issues up until this month. We never received a invoice in the mail as we always do. My wife tried to pay our bill online and couldn’t because of their merger with another company. My wife called the office and spoke with whoever the lady was that answered the phone and talk about rude. She talked down to my wife that “she sent the invoices out” and it’s our problem as to why we couldn’t pay online. Instead of correcting the problem they tried to charge us a late fee. Again their issue not ours that their systems are working correctly they decided to come pick up our trash can and loose a paying customer. Do not do business with these clowns.
I’ve been with this company for years and shocked that they don’t have good reviews! They always get my trash, or credit my account when weather prevented trash pickup! Not to mention how nice the drivers are! They recently had a switch up on drivers and I miss my old crew!

Weve had Rocky Mountain Disposal for years and theyve for the most part been awesome. Weve had good experiences such as them rolling our bins up to the top of the driveway to make them easier to put away. Theyve been pretty flexible around high collection days such as Christmas time. There were Instances in the past where they actually came to the door if we had forgotten to put them out for collection which was awesome customer service. Things have taken a turn for the worst recently. There were times in the recent past when they would selectively leave garbage behind without a call or explanation. This seems to have gotten a little worse over the past couple year and now RMD is a garbage collection company that doesnt collect garbage. Not sure if its new ownership or a performance issue with the technicians that pick up the refuse. Whatever it is - its not our problem any longer. We fired them.

We are the last stop before RMD leaves our neighborhood. They compact their trash in front of our house and it always leaves a pile of trash in the street. When we reported it to them, the manager said we either have to clean it up or let it wash away next time it rains.Hard to believe someone in a managers position would say that to a customer. Guess they dont need the business. Not going to renew.
Apparently, they don’t bother letting residents know when they’re picking up trash on a federal holiday (which no other companies did, mind you). Their excuse: well, you should’ve checked the website. Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize it was MY job as a paying customer to keep up with arbitrary pickups on holidays. And if you’re out of town, they don’t care; they’ve already got your money.And if that’s not annoying enough, they would also arbitrarily decide when they would take trash cans up the driveway—not based on who paid an exorbitant amount of money for the “extra service,” but based on when they felt like it or remembered. And when you call about that? “Oh. We’ll talk to them, but we aren’t prorating anything for you.”Lastly, they let garbage scatter around neighborhoods when they don’t properly dump the receptacle. I had the distinct pleasure of watching two guys dump a bag’s worth of trash on the ground, look at each other, and drive away quickly as trash blew around everyone’s yards. They also have a nice habit of placing trash bins in the middle of the driveway so you have to get out of your car, move it, and then park in your garage. Again, when called about this, their answer was a dismissive, “We’ll talk to them.” Sure.Do yourselves a favor and go with anyone else but these people. They’re lazy, cavalier, and only care about taking your money for the subpar job they do.
I have been a customer for almost two years. In the past months, my trash has not been picked up. I have called several times about it. I was promised that I would receive two weeks of free trash pick up (even though it was three weeks without pick up), so I agreed. I have not received any bills yet and my trash was not picked up. Today about 1135 I call Rocky Mountain to see what was the problem. I spoke to a very hostel women on the phone. She could not get her her months straight and was very agitated towards me when I was trying to figure out when Rocky Mountain sent out the letters (I have been getting some of my neighbors mail). I am not going to just pay a $10 late free for past services not rendered. I told her to cancel my trash pick up. I did this because of the poor customer service, weeks without trash pick up, and not receiving the comp weeks.
Rocky Mountain Disposal has been great. I love how they alway bring our trash bin back to our garage door. It is so helpful and convenient. Thank you.
I have had great service with them. Every time I call when I am on vacation and dont need pick up they credit my account. Other companies require you to be gone for 3 pickups before they will credit you. I like that they bring the can back to my house. When we had those 100 mile /hr winds, my can wasnt blowing around bthe neighborhood like everyone elses. The rate did increase without warning or notice which I didnt like, thats why the 4stars.
We had a door to door person come by, caught us in a weak moment, so we switched. BUT!, we like them, guys are polite, put the trash cans away from the pick up spot so you know they came. I paid late one time, they forgave me. I think they do a fine job. Only thing that would be better is if it was a free service but everybody has to make a living.
I dont write reviews but I feel that this one is necessary. I signed up for this service in the end of March and they have not come ONCE to pick trash on pick up day. I have had to call every week for them to pick up the trash since I signed up service. Its not my job to call them every week too pick it up trash on the day they should.
Always been good to me!! Just called to inquire about moving and the lady I spoke with was very helpful!! I will be sticking with these folks when I move for sure!
If I could give zero stars, I would. They have horrible reviews for a reason. Going on week two of no trash service. Did they just forget? Week two of no recycling service either. You get what you pay for. When we started up service, it took a month and three phone calls before we got a trash bin! Never had a trash service worse than this.
Looking at switching companies as they don’t notify you if there is a change in your pickup schedule. They also used to bring your cans up to the house from the curb and they no longer do that.
Dont believe the negative reviews. This company has provided excellent customer service for me for over 4 years. Their drivers are polite, friendly, and always return the trash bin next to the garage door. The problem with these type of web reviews is that anyone, even a competitor, can post to it.
I had many issues with this company, mainly with an employee that answers the phones when the Office Manager is not in the office. The employee didnt care to try and retain a customer, failed to give me important information regarding my garbage bins. Also, there were several times when they failed to pickup my garbage, forcing me to keep trash for over a week for them to pick up my trash that they missed. I would not recommend this company. Go with Waste Connections, much more reliable and they have great customer service and they can get in contact with their drivers whereas Rocky Mountain Disposal cant even get in any type of contact with their drivers.
We pay for the basic service (I bring the tote to the street, they empty it and leave it there) and Ive never had any issues. I own a separate tote that sometimes gets filled with extra trash (yard-work, holiday season) and they empty it without question or complaint.EDIT: Sadly everything Ive said previously about them has changed. They now try to charge for additional trash. They recently rebranded or sold to HBS and its gone completely downhill. Numerous missed days an absolute refusal to pick up additional trash (unless you pay extra). Go with someone else.
This is the worst trash Co. Ive ever had.My trash day is Monday, they picked it up yesterday. The week before they only took halfof the trash.We cleaned up the yard and had 6 bags of leaves, they didnt pick up.When I called, she said I have to schedule a separate pick up time for the bags.Theres a fee for the truck and a charge for each bag, on top of my regular service charge.My service ended on 2/28. The girl on the phone was rude and disrespectful.Maybe shes the owners daughter or whatever.I told her I was not going to renew and to come and get your containers. She was happier than I was. 👎👎
We have been using Rocky Mtn. Disposal for about 4 years. They have always done a great job and have gone above and beyond in service. Several times they have actually rung the doorbell if I forgot to put the trash out! I have never had that happen with other garbage companies in the past. I dont have any complaints whatsoever about Rocky Mountain and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Website provides a chatline. Steve, the rep on chat says I need to talk to a Specialist..he cant help. Why have a chat line? Then he refused to go forward with me unless I provided a phone number AND an e-mail. WHY????? Makes NO sense. BAD, BAD service.
I was a customer of RMD for a number of years. In the last year, they raised the rates from $19 a month to $25 a month. When I called to cancel I was told that there was an additional $25 fee to cancel the account. I asked where it stated that policy and the front desk person could not give me an answer. I looked on the website and it does not mention that. It is just another way for them to make a few bucks.
They forgot to pick up my trash when it was on the curb I called and they said they would pick up an extra trash day for me but they never did also If there is a holiday on a Monday and my trash day is on a Wednesday they dont pick up until Thursday not sure what picking up my trash on Wednesday is any other different day if theres a holiday on a Monday also the girls in the office is not friendly at all.
Decent prices and they even came up and got my trash can for me one day when I forgot to put my trash out.
3 weeks without garbage pick up. Was told they had lost my payment So I paid again and they still didnt pick up my trash. Called to complain and I was told they would send the garbage truck right back to collect. 4 hours later at 445 I called again because they never came back. This time I was told they would bee back on Wednesday. Save your money people, I will be switching to a competitor.
Totally unacceptable service. Heard them coming on a federal holiday, rushed to get my bin out before they passed my house and they ran and drove right past me without acknowledgement. When I called customer service to see about getting that corrected the representative hung up on me. Id rate them a zero if I could. Were changing companies.

Of course the driver is saving his ass by saying that our trash is not out when they come, but we know better. The rude customer service lady needs to learn her job. The customer is always right!

Customer service-horrible. Called for service, gave my address, was told yes we service your area. Promised great rates. Called and cancelled my current provider. Later called Rocky Mtn again, gave my address again, was confirmed. 2 days before my new pick up, received a call, never mind we dont service your area. Spoke with owner, he says oh, well, sorry. Should have read reviews before even calling them.
Service has gone down hill. They have missed picking up my trash multiple times. I will be changing service this week!
Hands down THE WORSE customer service. Our trash that was not picked up for 1 full week was finally picked up in the middle of the night which woke us up. I called to see if another truck would be sent and why the previous week there was no pick up. Spoke with Beth, RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL!! I asked for a supervisor and Beth said SHE was the supervisor. I will definitely be looking for another disposal company. I highly recommend that others do too.
Form the start with Rocky MTN Disposal I have received less than adequate customer service. I called today because I received and bill and had my trash cans picked up. When I originally enrolled, I was given 2 free months of service. When I called today, I was told that they did pick-up my trash cans and that I had a balance due. I proceeded to tell them that I had two free months and had the receipt to prove it. I was then told that Rocky MNT had tried to call however stated that the number was disconnected or not in service. They recited back the number (which was correct) that they tried to call. After telling them that the number was correct, I was told that they must have left a voice message then trying to get information. This of course is contradictory to what I was previously told. I then asked why they did not have my record for the two free months and was told they never received that information. I then spoke with a manager who proceeded to tell me it was my fault for this because I did not call them. It seems to me had this organization had a little better record keeping skills there would not be this issue. I was also told by the manager that it would be a week before they redelivered my trash cans that they picked up in error. I have played this game when I first started with Rocky MNT and was told the same thing when I first enrolled. Some 2 weeks later I finally received my cans, and this was after call numerous times. I asked about the time frame and was told if I was unhappy with that time frame I could come pickup the cans myself. Coming from a position where I deal with customers all day, I have never felt so disappointed in company. The continued push back and no eagerness to care for their customers makes me wonder how they are still in business. This company may have the cheapest rates however, you do get what you paid for. On a positive note, those that actually pick up the trash are very nice and always bring the cans back up to the house. These guys do a wonderful job. However, the remaining portion of the company has been terrible.
Ive left 2 voicemail trying to pay my bill and no one has called back. I called during normal business hours. I called again today and the phone was busy so I called again 30 seconds later and no answer. This is the worst customer service Ive e er had, and Ive had Comcast before. Buyer beware, do not use this company.
Once again - theres a little snow so Rocky Mountains response is We will pick up double next week What are we supposed to do with the trash for the week...the can is full. They need to rename to Fair Weather Trash Service.
A pro-of this company is that they do bring the bins back up to the house which is a small courtesy that we appreciate.A con- as a company you may want to rethink your recycling policy to every other week. Apparently since their were 5 weeks in august and you only pick up in the 2nd and 4th week we now have to go 3 weeks without recycling pick up. this is rather frustrating as our bin is full after 2 weeks now.
This is the worst trash company in Colorado that deserves a -5 stars. The customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. The ladies who answer the phones have the nastiest and rudest attitudes I have ever experienced. If your job is so bad you cannot treat people with respect you should find a new one. I would triple my semi annual bill to get rid of this company!!!!!
Simply put, better than average. Ive been using them for about six months now and they have gone beyond my expectations. I rarely review but felt a bit obligated after reading some of the other comments posted here.
Trash company charges me for every monday pick up. They come whatever monday they feel like it. Will never suggest them again. Customer service wants to charge me a 25$ pick up fee that they missed.
Dont know why people are complaining. Been with them for about 6 years and never had a problem. Havent had any missed days. They take three holidays a year, are nice when I call. What else do you want?
Customer of 13 years, one lapse in payment and no pickup. Asked for a manager call back and was told could not guarantee that. Better options out there, check them out. New Bestway customer.
I have never had a problem with them & the people (especially the person who collects) have always been great always a hello how are you & always a smile rain, shine or snow. We have been with them since they started.
If I could give zero stars, I would!! The men who pick up the trash are great, have always been courteous & done a great job. Rocky Mountain Disposal customer service however....trust & believe the reviews!!!! Rude, nasty woman named Deb/Debbie, worst customer service my husband & I have ever encountered. Husband called to question why our trash wasnt picked up ( have been customers for years) & Debbie was rude & confrontational & when my husband asked why she was being short & had an attitude her response was You took that tone with me!Hello?!..customer service? She has to be related to someone at Rocky Mountain to treat customers the way she does & keep her job! Say good bye to another customer who is switching to one of your competitors.
I’ve had them leave trash in my trash can several times during pickups. Annoying! And they won’t come back and pick it up till the following week.
Delivered a recycling canister, when we ordered two garbage canisters, was told they would deliver the right canisters the next day and did not, no call or anything. the customer service when you call them is terrible! if you hate your job that much you should find work in a different field!
Worst garbage company I have ever had. The side of my house is filled with garbage because they wont pick up anything other than their can. They wont pick up their can if the top is slightly open, and their can is the smallest of all three companies that service my neighborhood. They will pick up the extra bags, if you remember to call them ahead of time to let them know. Apparently no one knows this, because they didnt pick up half the blocks trash on the last pick up day. I suggest ANY company other then this one. Im stuck with them for the next two months because I wont be reimbursed if I cancel now.

Ive had them two different times when I moved back into the neighborhood.They pick up when they say they will, return my trash can. Now they have an option to pay less and they will leave your can on the curb. I like that.They are always pleasant when I call and when I dont pay my bill on time (which I have), theyre understanding.Unlike others, I have never had any issues with them. Considering the consistency of the complaints here, the 1 star reviews seem suspicious.
Worse customer service ever! Did not receive quarterly billing, they stopped service and removed trash tote. No explanation what so ever. When I called to find out what happened they said you didnt pay your bill. I explained did not know it was due, no billing invoices received. To bad.Have used this company for 5yrs NEVER NOT PAID !!Terrible company!
They were good when I first started using them but they have gone down hill. Wish them the best but I cant give them my money anymore.
This morning I forgot to move the trash cans (literally they are 10 feet from the end of the driveway). I rushed outside to make sure it was done, and they were already dumping my trash. Ira and Ray took my trash cans to the road (even though they were not obligated to do so). I was inside working, and I take care of a little one. My husband had a meeting this morning and forgot to take the cans to the road. Ira and Ray, you really dont know how much that means to me, and my view of the whole company improved with your display of customer service!

I was never told that they were canceling my service. They didnt show up for 3 weeks, and then today they dump my trash out on the ground to take their can. You guys had one job! This is what you get from this company. Horrible way to treat a customer, but after reading reviews this seems like the norm.
I paid a year in advance...what a mistake! The bin they provide is too small for our family of three. We always have more trash than can fit in it.They say it is 95 gallon, but seems smaller than that. In any case, I was told they have nothing larger and we dont have room for a second can, which was their only solution. After 2 months of service - the first 3 weeks of which they kept skipping us and I had to call their office each of those weeks and they would come 2 days later, as our garbage piled up even more - I called to discontinue service. Imagine my surprise when I was told NO REFUND will be given for the remaining 10 months weve already paid for. Rocky Mountain Disposal should be ashamed of this kind of business practice. I want to discontinue service for a legitimate reason....their bin is way too small to accommodate a family of three. We dont have room for a second can. Very frustrating.
Worst Customer service. Rude person answering phone, Company raises rates without notices (when we signed up were were promised our rates would never change), sends out bills late, giving you a couple of days to pay and then charges $10 late fee. Dont even empty trash can totally. Finally had enough!. Not surprised other people are having issues & leaving them too
Long time customer, theyve missed A few times but they do come back and get it.. Usually pretty good rates.
Do not go with this company. Their customer service is horrible. They charge you 100$ to cancel and the trash men leave trash on the ground, they are completely rude if you have one over trash bags and they charge you for it.
They have been wonderful. Always on time always very polite I bring the garbage out to the curb they empty it and bring our containers back up to the house.
Here is the wonderfully service you will receive from Rocky Mountain Disposal! 3 different occasions they have picked up everyones trash but ours and they are paid by an independent company that is current on payment. Not once, not twice but 3 separate occasions have left our trash a mess! I have personally had to drive my trash to the dump because they wont pick it up and we cant switch to another company because its mandated through the HOA. Even after calls to complain there is no action taken.
We began using Rocky Mtn. years agao for the dumb reason that purple is my favorite color, however we have stayed with this company because they offer great service. The guys show up right around the time, every week, that we were told they would. There are never any issues if we have extra trash, and the guys always place the trash barrel by the garage, rather than leaving it near the street. The only thing that has changed since we switched to Rocky Mtn. is that they used to leave a door hanger, advising us that they had been here, and when they would be here next,in the event we forgot to put the trash out. They dont do that anymore, however it wasnt a deal breaker. I dont understand the seriously negative reviews; perhaps they were written by competitors?
