Great service. Gave solid focused answers and no up sale tactics. Guy really knows his business
Bob Rundo knows alot about trees, he has serviced and treated our tree for years. Thanks Bob
Im not sure whats happened with Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon. They used to be an awesome company. We were initially referred by friends +several years ago) and were very satisfied with the work they did trimming an oak tree and treating fire blight in some crabapples. This time around has been a completely different experience. We hired them to trim an American Elm for us. The quote was steep ($950) but we knew they did good work. They came out late summer of 2019 and said it was best to trim the tree when it was dormant, which they said they would do. The following spring (this year) the work had not been done. I called and they did schedule again and trim the tree. Its now been 3 months. They have been out twice (the 2nd time trimming a different tree and sending a new invoice with an additional $475 charge) and the originaltoriginal still has a very large dead branch high in the canopy, as well as lots of smaller dead branches throughout. Just got a third statement today for $975.Albert, please contact me so I can have you finish the job, pay you, and be done with Bob Rundo Tree Service!
Requested an onsite estimate on 3/11/20 for trimming lower branches off 2 trees in response to their flyer ad. In mid April called for status. Was told they were very busy and had closed for a time due to virus but they would get to the job. No call backs by Rundo in the interim. Called again on 5/22/20. Was given same excuse. Asked for date that service could be performed. Was told that they could not give me a date. Told them to cancel my order. Bottom line: Lousy customer service.
Quick at setting an appointment and evaluating my tree, but I decided against using them because the prices were more than a little steep. As in, what he quoted me was more than my monthly mortgage heh. Otherwise I dont have any other complaints. Very informative.
Had a large silver maple trimmed last summer, great workers, so when I needed my apple trees trimmed I had them done last week.Came on time, did great work and at a fair price. Amber and Marrio did a fantastic job and explained how and why they trimmed the way they did.Really enjoyed them and the great work they did. Trees are healthy and cant wait till next summer watching the dang tree rats [squirrels] take a bite out of each apple :-)
Stopped by for firewood. Really nice guy,Fair price on split firewood. From out of town so it was nice to find this place.
Awesome service! Three friendly guys arrived around noon, took down 9 Aspens, cut off the stumps at the ground, chipped the limbs, loaded the logs, raked the entire yard, and were gone before 2. All at a price no one else could touch. Hopefully I dont need them again but will definitely use them if I do.
Not a reputable company. One man show. Rude. Immature. Highly suggest taking your tree needs to ANY other company. Bottom of the barrel with Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon and Albert Godec.
Ugh! Mis-diagnosed fire blight. Set an appointment time for them to come out, didnt show up, didnt call. When I called them, they said they were too busy and would come out when they had time, maybe in a day or two. They did finally show up, but I would say dont waste YOUR time with them.
Weve been using these folks for years - trimming out out trees and spraying our spruce.... Albert has always been thoughtful and more than willing to explain his reasoning - prices are fair and the crew has always done a good job of picking up....
Great workers and decently priced!
Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon cut down a crazy messy Cottonless Cottonwood tree in my front yard. I asked to have the stump left about 5 ft tall since I hired a chainsaw artist to carve a 5 chimp. The guys told me they left the stump 7 ft because the artist may want to have the carving on a pedestal and if I wanted them to come back and make it shorter they would. Thank goodness they knew what they were doing because indeed the carver DID want to have the Chimp on a 2 pedestal! Lots of companies dont bother to think through a project to make sure it is the correct thing to do. I was VERY happy I didnt end up with a 3 Chimp on a 2 pedestal and it would not of been nearly as awesome! Thanks Bob Rundo!!
Trees in my neighborhood were turning brown and dying. Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon told us it was Bark Beetle and they sprayed as a preventative. However, this spring we noticed a few pine trees on our property turning brown. I contacted other tree companies and was told Bark Beetle has not been seen in our neighborhood and the cause was Pine Needle Scale. The other companies showed me the scale. Now we may lose a few trees and have to pay hundreds of dollars to remove them. In my opinion, using Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon was a waste of time and money. This probably would not have happened if they had properly diagnosed the Pine Needle Scale and sprayed for it instead of Bark Beetle. As such, I cannot recommend this company.
Dishonest owner. Hired him to trim 4 of my many trees. His company ended up trimming the wrong tree & refused to admit the mistake. Also the young men who came to trim were not Arborists & they left a mess of my yard. They picked up larger branches, but did not pick up smaller branches and twigs. Was a great company when the father ran the business.
August 2016 - Overall not a terrible experience.Admittedly my first experience with having multiple trees removed. Also, the quality of service in general in COS is typically a lower bar than many other cities within the United States.Cons-Workers in quite a hurry to leave my property after the stumps were ground down-Left cigarette butts, orange peels, gate off hinges (had to ask to have it put back on)-Several pickets on my fence were destroyed (It happens, I get it)-Like pulling teeth to convince staff at the office (Albert) to make good on a 3 pickets that the customer (me) had determined was their fault. In the end, 3 out of 6 were determined by Albert to actually be their fault. All that said, here are thePros:+Receptionist was very helpful and polite+Workers very polite+Albert very polite+All my trees were removed quickly+Stuck to original quote from a year ago+Showed up to do the work at a reasonable timeIn summary, if you want to go with these guys, just make sure you take pictures of youre sections of fence or whatever else could end up as collateral damage.I am a principal man, and in this case I would hope thatA) they would trust the customer a bit andB) Even if they are convinced that the customer is wrong, why not go the extra mile and replace 10 dollars worth of pickets for a $1000+ job? If the time it takes to do that is too costly, why not negotiate a small discount form the overall price.Im not excited to recommend them, but if you know what small foxes might show up to spoil the vines, you may indeed be prepared to enjoy the rest of the good work they do.
Great firewood at affordable prices.
These guys are crooks. They destroyed property and when I pointed it out they basically said, too badBad attitudes and rude. There are too many five star tree services in colorado springs to put up with guys like this. Do not recommend at all - ever.
The estimated showtime was between 12 and 2 PM. At 2:30pm they had still not showed up so I called them, and they told me they had mechanical issues....3pm they showed up. I will not be doing business with this company.
Very rude when I called and asked for a rough estimate on what it cost to have a tree removed!
Hired them to take out a tree in August, and was told it would take a couple months because they were really busy. Here it is over 6 months later, and my tree is still there. I called three weeks ago to see if they forgot about me; I was told I would get a return phone call that afternoon, and they forgot me again. Thats not a good way to do business.
Exelent service
