We had an extremely fast closing and as a military family they were able to coordinate updates in our absence. The work was top notch and the prices were very reasonable for the work. I would use Russ and his team to buy, sell or manage my home if ever back in Colorado Springs.Excellent company, wonderful people.

I used Pathfinders Properties when I moved out of the area in 2013 due to military commitment. They managed my property for five and a half years with absolutely no issues. They kept me informed of any issues (weather, maintenance, etc.) and responded quickly to any concerns I had during the time they managed my property. Since the tenants were moving out (also due to military commitments), I took the opportunity and used them to sell our home. Again, Russ explained the process and answered every question my wife and I asked. Because they were my property manager, Russ was able to show and sell the house quickly. I good company to work with. We worked with Pathfinders for five years. They were professional and kept me and my wife informed with what was going on with our property. When it came time to sell, Pathfinders served as our agent. That was one of the best decisions I made. As out-of-state owners, we sold our home while preparing for a move and expecting our second child. Pathfinders made the process easy. Our house was sold quickly - this company knows the Colorado Springs housing market!

We initially used them to rent out our property and felt that we were always kept well informed of the state of our property and they always made the tenant transition a seamless one. When we decided to sell our home we got nothing but honest advice from Russ and felt that he worked hard to get us the best outcome. My wife and I used Pathfinders Properties as our property management company for 8 years! We were completely satisfied with how Russ and his team handled our property and their direct communication with us. On a few occasions, our tenants were required to move due to military orders, and we had new tenants with in a week! Once, this occurred while we were on vacation and unable to be reached and by the time we touched base, we already had a new tenant. We recently sold the property and used them for our Realtor as well! Russ and Caleb also performed great in this role. I was out of town and my wife had to handle everything and Pathfinders made it extremely simple for her. We would definitely recommend Pathfinders Properties to home owners as well as prospective tenants.

We moved over from the UK last year and only found these guys by google when looking for a property to rent - We had no credit history as we were moving with my Job and this wasnt a problem at all - I have know idea why people are slating these guys as all our experiences have been great with every person we have dealt with.I spoke to Russ on a number of occasions at the start of the process and he was nothing but helpful and polite - Likewise with Melissa and Tim (before he left)I would have zero issues at all recommending these guys to anyone.Pay rent on time and treat the rental house in the same fashion you would your own home and there cant be any issue can there ??Thanks to all those at Pathfinders who certainly helped us very well !!

I worked with Russ for over 8 years for rental property management and then most recently to sell my rental property. We have been with pathfinders for 5 years with no problems. All the staff have been nothing but professional, efficient and honest. As long term renters in Colorado Springs, it is refreshing to have the piece of mind that we have a reliable company behind us during our tennancy.Before we found this company, we had nothing but trouble, from owners having their properties foreclosed on to drugged out landlords begging us to let them move in with us as they were broke.I would recommend pathfinders to anyone who wants a reliable company to rent from. Im not sure why our experience differs from the other reviews, all we do is pay on time and follow our contract, maybe that makes a difference.

Terrible experience working with Russ Grimsley. We moved to COS in the summer of 2018 and ended up renting a home for the first year through Pathfinders Properties. The first 6 months were great until Melissa left and we had to start working with Russ. We chose to have a home built for us in January 2019 and gave more then 6 months notice about our vacancy in June/July time frame. Russ was very unprofessional and rude to talk to on many occasions. He had very high standards when it came to cleaning the home that was never left damaged or dirty ever, but we hired a cleaning professional to come in and have it done his way. We also had to keep rescheduling our final walk thrus with him due to him being too busy to meet with us. Still to this day we continue to keep fighting to get our security deposit back weeks later. Like i stated above Russ wasnt the easiest realtor to work with or talk to and definately didnt make our move an easy transition for our military family. I would not suggest anybody to hire him as a realtor or rent thru Pathfinders Properties.

The above mentioned reviews are entirely correct. The owner is a douche bag. We recently bought a home and attempted to move out of a pathfinders rental property. We cleaned and attempted to clear the house when the owner Russ Grimsley calls my wife and tells her we are pretty much dirt bags and our progress up to this point has been poor and he doubted we would be able to clear their property to his ridiculous specifications of a show home quality due to our performance being below satisfaction already. Literally made her cry. Do not use or recommend this company. They will try to use your deposit to fix issues with the property to save themselves money before renting it again. Russ is the least professional manager I have met in my military career moving often into rentals. I guess paying on time for 3 years and being good tenants is a good reason to be a ass to females.

They dont care about their tenants only making money, they will screw you over every chance they get. it took over a week in 100*s weather to fix the AC, inconsiderate of our childrens health. even with all the issues we were still willing to renew and lied saying the owner wanted to sell. Then told us we could break the lease early if we allowed them to show it and they never even tried. In the end they tried to charge us fees for things that we could have taken care of before handing over the keys but refused to tell us it needed to be done. They know they have done wrong by refusing to commonly discuss the issue that are at hand. I would NEVER do business with these people ever again....

We used them when we lived in falcon and they were a nightmare. He uses high pressure tactics and will show up to your house wanting in. They took the whole deposit and told us many times nothing we can do about it take them to court. They wanted to sell the house while we were in it. House needed lots of things done, we tried to get our celling fans fixed the 2 years we were there. When our dryer broke they tried to blame us. Stay away from them.

This place is horrible the people do not communicate with you properly leading you to believe that you have a place ready to go and just like that take it away. I can see why they have the worst reviews. Never again will I deal with these people. So this is how they treat their military nice to know. Stay away from this company they are rude and dont care about what you need.

I wouldnt recommend this company to renters. They are slow, and that is if they respond at all to problems. Leaky faucets, 90% of oulets were dead, gas fireplace rated unsafe for use by utility company, etc. Then, when you quit trying to get them to reply to your service requests and choose to move out at the end of your lease. They steal the money to repair all of the malfunctioning, old, poorly, maintained house structures from your deposit, perfect case in point a a flimsy screen door latch. Just the latch! They claim the latch and labor cost $140. Mind you the latch fell off the first week I moved in and Pathfinder was notified but never resolved the issue. Then the real kicker is being charged for final cleaning when I did indeed leave the property in a cleaner condition than I found it. Billed over $300. Poor response to service requests and unscrupulous business tactics is not the way to get good ratings.

We rented from these folks for 3 years and it was terrible.Owner, Russ, showed up unannounced in my living room. No knock, just walked right in.Took over a month to get dishwasher fixed.They work part-time hours so communication is slow and sometimes non-responsive.When trying to sell the home they never showed it themselves and held no open houses and house did not sell. When they found mold in the basement the just covered up.Russ accused be of many things and once he realized he was wrong he could not be apologetic but only make excuses like when we get busy we make mistakes.The reviews tell the truth so be sure a read them all. Russ should not be in a business where he has to work with people.

I wouldnt reccomend this company to my worst enemy. They are slow to answer, tried to steal money, and then were beyond rude when we asked questions. They called me scarcastic, rude, and told me they had to spell things out for me because I supposedly couldnt understand thier downright ridiculous policies when I questioned thier holding of my deposit when I moved out. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

I would never ever recommend anyone renting off these people. They will do anything they can to take your whole deposit, and even charge you more for “repairs”. Meanwhile they just take your money to get the house ready to sell or rent to the next tenants. Never in my life have I ever gotten less than 90% of my deposit back, let alone owe them money!

Garbage Company. Rude staff, rude owner and they walk all over the tenants. They never get back to you when they tell you they will, and screw you all the way from the start to the finish.
