Nancy was a terrible landlord with poor values. I have no doubt that if you are from a different ethnic background Nancy will subject you to discrimination. She violated my renters rights agreement multiple times, let alone entered the house with no notice or permission despite I paid my rent on time Everytime. Literally put a lock on the door when my rent WAS PAID. eventually leaving me homeless during a epidemic. This review is just scratching the surface of how negative of a experience I had while doing business with this organization. I would not recommend going through this company at all! Awful experience, she broke several laws and made me feel less of a human being with no remorse or reason. And they will keep your deposit no matter what!
GO WITH ANYONE ELSE BUT THEM.I moved out last year and had been renting from them for nearly five years, they made every effort to not give me my deposit back. I spent days cleaning the house/yard and cleaned what she told me to clean on the pre inspection to no avail. It had already been weeks after we moved when they finally conducted the final inspection and that’s when I was informed that I would not be receiving a portion of my deposit roughly $800 is what they kept. Furthermore the house wasn’t even that clean when we moved in and don’t plan on anything in the house to ever really be fixed because they use cut rate maintenance men to fix stuff. After the hailstorms of 2018 we had a few leaks in the kids rooms and all the did was a patch job on the ceiling weeks after the event, one of them needing to be redone after many calls. They didn’t even send a clean up crew to the house after the leaking ceilings from the hailstorm and no mold inspection was done on the areas of the ceiling that had been wet for weeks. This agency operates on zero morals and integrity and will not put the interest of their tenants first.
Nancy and I have worked alongside one another on maintenance repairs. She is easy to contact and quick to respond. I will continue to help service her properties in a timely manner. I would totally recommend her for property management.
All employees are very helpful. They always answered my questions with knowledge and promptness. The maintenance is quick to reply and to fix the issues. The website is easy to maneuver as well. It was a pleasure to get my first home in CO with them. Thank you
Shame on this establishment
I truly thought this would be a good stop, to work with Colorado Su Casa Property Management. HOWEVER, it is good ONLY if1) You dont mind being told the lease will not renew, but no reason is given.2) When you inquire again, Why no renewal, and Nancy Milliron tells you, Chris, we are under no obligation to renew your lease or provide you with any specific reasons for non-renewal. Very responsible and ethical business practice there, Nancy. The ethical and moral business owners out there, would at least offer a critique as to why, then allow one to correct any mistakes. She did NONE.It is unfortunate their responsibilities end whenever they decide to, to hell with the tenant! I have a disabled son. I know this is linked to him. Sad, but true. Discrimination.......be careful. Now I have to wonder what will become of my $2,400 security deposit. No worries, that is what small claims court is for, But that alone will be interesting, for they never did a walk-around with me and never had me sign off on ANY condition of the building when we first moved in. Yep, they seem to like and set up folks for failure.
Renters beware! The townhomes on Banner Court! This is the worst rental company I’ve ever rented from!First let me start by saying I was a single mom and I rented from this company for three years. I paid my rent on time every month. I would normally pay my rent a week early.Last winter the heater broke over a holiday weekend. They didn’t want to send anyone out to look at the heater until the next work weekday because it would cost them to much money in service fees to come immediately. The temperature outside at the time was only 8 degrees. Until maintenance came we had to use our fireplace for heat. When someone finally came out they couldn’t fix the heater but had to replace it because it was too old. They stated the new one wouldn’t be ready until the end of the week. At least the maintenance people gave us some space heaters to use until then.A few weeks later a pipe leading to the basement shower burst while my son was showering. Again it was very cold outside and I later learned the pipe was never installed correctly. Water went everywhere and started to flood the basement. We had to shut the water off to the whole townhome. This happened during another long holiday weekend and I called the emergency maintenance phone number. Again they wouldn’t send someone over immediately because of the costs. Until the maintenance person came, we couldn’t cook, take showers, wash our hands or even use the toilet. The kicker to all this was we had to clean up the water and mess ourselves.I rented because I wanted the security of having maintenance issues dealt with quickly and correctly when they came up. I did not want to have to deal with things on my own as a home owner. I feel like the things they did to us was illegal and just plain wrong.I have 2 boys and we were left with no heat and no water all because they did not want to pay extra for a holiday service charge.I should have seen the warnings signs as before I first moved in, my mom flew out and helped me clean the townhome. It was dirty and I had to rent a carpet cleaner to clean the carpets myself.Because of the maintenance issues I finally decided to leave after 3 years of faithfully paying my rent on time. I spent days cleaning making sure the place was better than when I first moved in. I was still charged a cleaning fee and was charged a fee to replace the carpet that was 20+ years old.I had to call off work both times to deal with my rental and lost money taking those days off! When I asked for a discount on rent for the issues I had during those months they told me no!Please be careful renting from them. They are terrible and I feel are slumlords! I’m going to turn them into DORA because they shouldn’t be renting if they can’t afford to do maintenance over weekends and holidays and it’s very legal to leave your tenants without heat in 8 degree weather!
I love how kind these people are. How easy the rental process was. The property we rented is clean and very well kept. I am truly grateful to have found these people and this place to live with my boyfriend and our two kids. Look forward to possibly buying thru this company. Very satisfied
We had an issue with our vent over the stove that we called in late Friday afternoon; issue resolved today. Very timely service and response! Friendly staff as well! Very happy!
One of the worst ran property management companies I have ever worked with. They found ways to scam myself and roommates out of our full deposit and then charged us on top of the deposit. They charged us to patch and repaint rooms that never had anything hung up on the wall to patch, mind you a lot of those things they “patched” were already there and disclosed. $1800 worth of charges, including removing things in the garage that were there when we moved... example paint and cleaning supplies. Also charged us to remove a washer and dryer that they included as appliances on the lease. Oh and cleaning for 30 hours thats almost a full week 8-5.... stay away from these guys. We often paid early and never late, very low matinence, and honestly the perfect tenants. This is what they do you to when you decide to not renew your lease since you’re no longer going to be in the state. STAY AWAY OR YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AT LEASE END....
If I could give less than a single star, you better believe I would. These people strung me along for over a week telling me each step of the way that my credit was fine and all they needed was job verification, which they got. After telling me that credit was fine and they just needed that and we would be good to go, they call me and tell me they rented to another person 20 minutes before they called me. They told me the home was available and never said they had multiple apps on it. They have left me with a new job I have to take in 2 weeks with an out of state move and no home after stringing me along so long that there isnt time to find another home. I even point blank asked if I had the home and if everything was fine and was told if there was an issue with credit or anything else, they wouldnt be verifying my income yet they rent to someone else the same day they are supposed to tell me what the deposits will be. Terrible ethics. If you have an application fee to burn and like being lied to, feel free to use this company.
Steve Oliver was extremely helpful and friendly. He made sure that I was comfortable with my decision without the pushy mentality I have run into a time or two before with other companies. Thank you!!
Su Casa Reality staff is awesome! They were so accommodating and friendly. Nancy, Amber and Wally you are the best! :)
Have been working with Nancy and her team for years, first as a tenant then as a property owner. We were always impressed by their professionalism and integrity.
My experience with Steve Oliver was very informative. I would trust him with any of my housing endeavours, whether leasing or buying a home Steve is your go to guy.
I have had an amazing experience with Steve Oliver and highly recommend for sure. Very informative and helpful to the fullest!
Top quality. Nancy and the team are amazing at what they do.
These people suck. Unethical. So rude when you view a property... look you up and down and give dirty looks. Rush you out the door. you wont be stealing my application money
We were worried when a new property management company took over the rental we were in but they turned out to be really easy to work with and friendly.
Very poorly maintained properties.. makes you wonder where the property owners are as far as all of their buildings falling apart... Does this place keep the owners in the loop?
If I could give no star, I would. However, for how good they were in making you believe renting here was a good idea, I guess they deserve that one. I was warned before I moved in by a then resident not to move in with the spawn of Satan. I figured that was a pretty harsh thing to say about someone. However, with the way she and some of her agents handle business matters, now I see why they said that. Ive had almost 4 neighbors in the 2 years Ive lived here. Nancy M. is one of the worst landlords I have dealt with. Especially when it comes to customer service. The cops have been called on SEVERAL occasions about a few things and when I came to her to voice my concern she tells me crime happens everywhere. I dont understand her and her ways but Im glad I will no longer have to deal with them. I dont believe its right to dictate whether or not one follows their contract based off if she feels SHE wants to or not. My previous neighbors ALL talked about how bad she was, and regretfully, I didnt listen. Even her current residents are less than impressed. Be forewarned of her if you decide to work with this company. Be forewarned of the children and their parents in the Banner Townhouse neighborhood. They ride their bikes and skateboards in the dark, with dark colored cloths and no reflectors on their bikes, which is dangerous as there are no street lights, its very possible to hit them. They have dirty mouths, throw rocks and balls at properties and cars and their parents blame you if you ask them to keep their child under control. Even if its for the safety of their own child, they WILL attack you. They will also say you have no proof it was their child. I started taking videos of them fighting with each other as well as their children caught in the act. Your stuff will be vandalized; windows have been broken (not just mine), youll call the cops, and voice your concerns to your landlord and they will do nothing. Their agent inspected my unit and it was flawless, except inside the oven. She was NITPICKY about the inside of my OVEN. Whats the point of trying to please them when no matter what you do its never good enough. So I stopped trying. While there may have been a few personal items on the floor, their precious unit was never destroyed. She is charging me for maintenance that is wear and tear of her unit when Ive never been charged for maintenance nor the $50 fee she speaks of. Her unit is simply old. She keeps claiming its in my contract, but from what I read were only supposed to pay for what we damaged. The invoice I received from their office a week prior said my balance was zero except for the rent and water fee I was to pay, which I did. All of a sudden theres an extra charge and now Im fighting with her in a complaint to the BBB. At first I was upset they decided not to renew my lease for the simple inconvenience of having to move, but then I realized it was a blessing in disguise. If youre thinking of renting or doing realty business here, save yourself the headache/heartache and dont.
Do not recommend. They steal your money.
One of the best companies out there.
