Called and then headed over with my best friend for full sets. Clean and organized spa. However, when I tried to get designs on my acrylics or clear acrylics, they couldnt do it. I ended up getting all nude colored acrylics with one white nail on each hand. They were done well, it was just frustrating that options for designs and such werent available. The gentleman that did my nails was very polite and detail-oriented.

Ive had quite a few pedicures around Colorado Springs, but this has to have been the most thorough and relaxing pedicure I have ever had. The hot stone massage was fantastic.Everyone here works really hard. Rather than being rushed, I felt welcome instantly on a Saturday. This will be my only store in the future!

I have gotten my nails done for years at many different places and this is definitely the worst experience I have ever had. I got an acrylic set and left with two crooked nails and she cut me 3 times. The nails look nothing like the picture I showed and when I asked nicely for them to be fixed they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with them but as the costumer I was very unhappy with my service. I paid 70$ for this set with very basic designs just to take them off a few hours later. The costumer service is very poor as well they rush though everyone and the lady kept stopping my nails to answer the phone and make appointments. Before I went here I had read the reviews and I am honestly sad I didn’t listen to the other bad ones they were all true.

This was my second visit here. The first time was great. The second time was not. Service was not consistent. The chair for my pedicure didnt work properly. My daughter got a manicure and she still has has dirt under her nails and the quality looks like a child did it.

Everyone there was nice. They allowed me to come without an appt. 5 days later my acrylic nails look horrible. The acrylics are crooked, you can see my real nail on the sides and they are already rising in some spots. The way the French tip acrylics were done was strange as well. As nice as everyone was, I wont return. Pedicure was great and color on toes is still looking great. Just sad about acrylics as it was expensive.

After three, less than stellar, pedicures at other salons I decided to give this one a shot. They have three options, we went with the mid range. Sue did mine and she did a great job. It was not rushed, she took time on the massage and scrub! Very happy and will be back for a second time.

Have been coming here for a while, Sonny is amazing and the only reason I come back. Tina on the other hand lacks basic customer service skills for a business owner. Leaves nails soaking for way to long so she can be on the phone. Takes 30 minutes to paint nails because the phone is more important. Walked in to address peeling gel polish from a 2 day old manicure she was rude and told me they were too busy to take 5 minutes to address one nail. Told her I’d wait and she rudely told me no. To come back later.

This was my 3rd visit. The first visit was decent, but the pedicure was subpar. The 2nd visit my nails were filed so thin that 2 broke in the same week, no apex for support. My last visit was recent the total was $96 for a new short set & regular pedi, both gel polish. First, one of my nails was applied crooked, when I spoke to the guy told me my finger was crooked, a lie! Then the gel had lumps in it and the top coat was not applied correctly. This left my gel nails pretty dull, he attempted to re-coat but it did not take.Then, on my pedi, cuticles were not cut properly, or at all. And the skin buffer they used on my feet was USED, not new. When I noticed gel was applied on my skin outside the nail I told the lady and she had the nerve to get an attitude. The passion is just not there, they gossip about customers, and for basic services I expect to be taken care of professionally. As a former nail tech, I DO NOT recommend!!!

Women doing my nails was very nice. My pedicure was great. My manicure was definitely not worth the money. I did an acrylic set with the powder. Its hard to see how the shape is turning out with all the nails until the end when you compare on both hands after washing. Mine looked rough. The shape wasnt even across both hands. The sides were super filed in and unnatural looking. At that point she couldnt unfile them because she filed my actual nail in so much I was stuck. She didnt do anything with my cuticles. She didnt shape out the underside of my all nails. Some barely have any space underneath. I wouldnt go there again for a manicure. It was very rushed.

Absolute best pedicures I have ever gotten. I usually go during the week when they’re not busy. I work on my feet so I like to get them done every once in a while. Makes me feel super refreshed :)

Lux Nails is the best! They’re very clean, professional and accommodating. Sonny and Tina are the best and their work is amazing! Not only are they very friendly but they are flexible with scheduling and my nails always look fantastic. I’m happy every time I leave the salon!

Will NEVER trust anyone here doing my nails. I wish I could give this place zero stars. My nails are uneven, bumpy, my nail cracked right after stepping out of the salon and into my car. I didn’t go back in because I’d be more upset. Pedicure was okay, but dip powder is inexcusable….

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Went here to get my acrylics taken off and get a gel manicure in their stead. Absolutely awful experience from beginning to end. To start with, the employees were not friendly in the slightest. I asked for a cow design on my middle two fingers, and after slamming my hand around the whole beginning of the appointment, my nail tech got upset with me when I reminded her that I wanted the design. Additionally, this was my first time getting acrylics removed and she thinned out my nails so much that the nail bed itself is peeling and cracking. As someone who typically has naturally strong nails this is not only frustrating but it is also painful. After literally 1 day after my gel manicure it started peeling terribly and I had to return to get them fixed. It was then that I was told that they weren’t able to do the cow print again(which I was fine with), so I asked them to paint the nails that were being fixed black. They were painted white. In the end I am left incredibly dissatisfied, with unhealthy nails, and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Its my 1st time coming here and they didnt disappoint me. I got the manicure dipping and it was nice, after that my pedicure. All the stuff are nice specially Helen. I recommend this place 👌 👏 👍

Their tools are clean and so is the whole building. I always make appointments with Sonny because he always does amazing job on my nails and Im very picky about the shape! Acrylics were lumpy, shape and length is very uneven. They cut me my friends and I cuticles. The design was very simple and they messed it up completely . The staff was rude as well. Highly DONT recommend ever going here.

Ive been getting my nails done at many places over the years in the springs and in Denver, but this one is by far my favorite. Everyone always performs an amazing job on everything they do. everyone is professional and on schedule with appointments.Always call ahead!! Anyway youll need to wait 30 minutes before being seated or they will tell you there is no room for you that day. They get booked fairly qick and its polite to call. Ive been going here for over a year now.If your looking for detailed design, this might not be the best place for that because solid colors are their thing but they are more than willing to do any design you have in mind if need be.Also Raven Elys coment is not valid. I was there when she was and she was screaming up a storm at all the staff trying to get discounts and a refund. She was very inainappropriate and swearing when there was children near as well. Not how you get your way.

They are super friendly. I was a walk- in and they took me right away. I am disappointed because I didnt get the shape I asked for. I expressed exactly what I wanted, shorter, coffin shaped. Its not just the shaped he missed but every nail was different. It definitely wasnt a nice polished look Im use to. I will go back 1 more time and see how it goes, but only because my regular guy moved and this place is close to home.

I was in Colorado Springs for vacation and wanted to get my nails done for engagement pictures. After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to go with Lux Nails. They did a fabulous job! I was able to get an appointment the same day, got right in, and was impressed with how speedy they were, while doing exactly what I asked for! The prices are beyond reasonable and I couldnt be happier! Would most definitely recommend!!

I used to love this place, i always tipped 50% or more. Made an appointment in person and was ignored, he put down the day he thought i said and wrote down the wrong day. Tried to blame me, saying i was the wrong one, and i always carry my schedule book on me. Very disappointing

Came in for a full set acrylic manicure with gel polish. Originally unhappy with the results. Called the next day and was told to come in to get them fixed. After waiting a bit (because they were busy) the girl who originally did my nails fixed them at no charge, apologized profusely, and made sure I was happy before leaving. Ill definitely go back when its time for a fill, and I definitely recommend this salon. I think the techs name was Sunny, Very sweet lady 😊

The man did my nails. He made my left ring finger bleed and my right pinky finger bleed and would not discount the price. The nails are crooked. The service was very poor.

I loved this place! I was a walk-in and I got an almond shape full set with regular paint fill. The tip shape is perfect and the thickness of the acrylic looks flawless. They were slammed busy but never once did my tech rush or make me feel unwelcome. The whole staff were lively and respectful and it was a great price too. I paid $40.00 and definitely got my moneys worth. Will definitely be returning.

Theres nothing quite like the jittery nerves of getting your first acrylic manicure. But I took the plunge right before Christmas, and WOW, the results are incredible. Lux took such good care of me, my sister, and our friend the Saturday before Christmas. I never once imagined that my nails could look so pretty. Sonny was so careful with my nail beds, and making sure he didnt hurt me. He achieved the exact look I was going for with the glitter polish. I couldnt have asked for a better first experience. All 3 of us in my little group had a wonderful experience and I can guarantee Ill be coming back to Lux!

For the last 2 years this is been my go to place to get a pedicure the prices are great but today I am very much turned off from this location why the gal doing my pedicure thought rubbing her own feet with the oils she was rubbing on my leg was ok is beyond me. As a licenced cosmetologist myself it makes me wonder what other sanitation they actually abide by.

I’ve never gotten my nails and feet done and it took 3 hours ! I was charged for ombré when I know what ombré is this is polish not ombré . My nail tech was nice . Overall the nails look nice but my hands are sore won’t be returning 😑

I brought my review from 3 to 4 stars because they stood behind their work and made the corrections to make a customer satisfied. I kept it at 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel like it should have been done right the first time. I will return to give my future business again because I am all about second chances. Hopefully this one time was a fluke.I brought in my 3 young, daughters for a mani/pedi day on Saturday, December 19th. The services rendered were great. The ladies that worked with us were all friendly and super personable. All of our nails looked great. My girls got a regular polish for hands and feet and I got gel polish on my hands and feet. Their nails still look good. For me, everything looked great until Christmas Eve. After a shower I noticed two of my nails on my feet were completely missing the gel polish and two nails on my hands had lifting and chipped. Gels usually last me 2 to 3 weeks. I do plan on calling tomorrow to see if theyll fix them. Illupdate this if they can. It is just disappointing to spend the amount I did for the gel polish to not make it a full week.

I was so happy with the pedicure I got here! This was my first visit and I will definitely be back!It is by far the most sanitary pedicure station I have ever seen. They use tub liners for the pedicure chair tubs and its a fresh one every time. The utensils are autoclave cleaned and in a fresh sealed package for each use. The polish selection was huge and the ladies were all very lovely. This was absolutely worth the drive for the quality of pedicure I received.

If youre serious about nails and you keep your nails on fleek-then dont go here. The main guy is rude and pushy. I went and told him I wanted my nails dipped and he gave me acrylic color. He told me that dip nails are weaker and dont last as long, which is untrue and something I havent experienced in my 15 years of getting my nails done. I asked him to do several nail art ideas, all of which he said he couldnt do and referred me to another nail shop. On top of this my nails were thick and sloppy and the cuticles were messy.Im sure I have the right location. Lux nails at 3505, 5944 Stetson Hills Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80923And I am aware that you guys like to do dip because a lady came in while I was getting my nails done in acrylic and asked for dip, and she was given dip. As a customer who has been getting my nails done for years (in serval states from NC to CO) I was unhappy with the fact that I wasnt listened to and the finished results were poor. I wouldnt take the time to write a review (twice) if it wasnt true. When a customer spends their hard earned money for a custom service they expected it to be what they paid for and asked for. She did a wonderful job AND when I was a klutz and ruined by big toe she fixed it completely by removing it 3 times until she thought it was perfect. I really can’t recommend this place enough, I came in an hour before they closed and they still provided excellent service!! They were very kind and welcoming. My technicians paid very close attention to detail and made sure that all my nails were the same shape and length (I got acrylics) and that my polish was evenly applied. I will definitely be back. I LOVE this place! I have been going here for 4 years now. Every single person who works here is so friendly and nice and I always have fun conversations with them. Sonny does gorgeous nails, and it’s such a welcoming environment. They have such a wide range of colors for nails and toes, they are willing to try anything you would like. Prices are super reasonable and I am always happy with the outcome, I won’t go anywhere else!

Best nail place (and I’ve tried several)! They do a great job on fills, with tons of color options. Awesome pedicures with comfy chairs. I personally recommend a gel pedicure. A little more expensive, but lasts longer. It’s best to make an appointment, as they can get pretty busy.

Wife had a good first experience there so she went back to get her nails done before the wedding. This time, there was a gentleman working there who was exceedingly rude. Told her to sit down because they didn’t have much time. Kept saying no, couldn’t do what she was asking even though some of her friends have the exact thing she was looking for. He seemed much more interested in taking her money and getting her out of the store than doing reasonable work.

Customer service was nice but at the end of my acrylic session, my nails were sloppy, a nail crooked and the color in the bottle didnt match to the fake nail on chart. I made the mistake to think it was the lighting since my back created a shadow over the color. I also got french tip for my toes, which I DO NOT recommend. The color was chipped before he put the clear coat over and then dissapeared to the back for 15 minutes

Was referred by a friend and read through reviews. Made an appointment for me, my mom & sister. They sat us all together, which was a pleasant surprise because even with appointment sometimes other salons will give you whatever chair is available. They had ours waiting for us. I introduced myself and Trina introduced herself to me and made pleasant conversation with me and my family. We all felt very relaxed and well taken care of. They listen to your individual needs (we all had different needs). So professional and kind. I will be back!

They were very careful with my natural nails which is a huge deal for me. They took their time completing the tasks and did not try to rush me out the door. Price: Reasonable for the product. Lux Nails always make my nails look PERFECT!!!! Also, they are so sweet and kind. Its such a nice environment. They have bottled water and always aim to please. I have always left happy. I tend to get attached to a particular color and they make sure to have it in stock or order it if its getting low. Also, they help make recommendations based on what Id be happy with.I get my nails done every month and do a pedi every other since they do such a great job, I only have to do every 2 months for my toes.They are super kind and always put the customer first. Today was my first time at Salon Lux. I had read the previous reviews and decided to give Lux a try. I had a scheduled appointment with Tina at 9:30 am. I arrived early and the salon was already open and she was ready to get started, which was impressive. We began with the pedicure. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have deformities in my hands and feet. I am very self conscious because of this, but Tina made me feel very comfortable. Her pedicure left my feet feeling great and renewed with a pretty french pedicure. She was gentle with my hands and shaped my own natural nails perfectly oval and completed the look with a french manicure. The whole experience was very pleasant and healing. I am very happy I gave Lux salon a chance and will be returning...Thank you again Tina

Very disappointed in service ... 1st time coming on and they guy who did my nails did not do a great job because by day one my nail was lifting off of my real one. Came in a day later to get it fixed only for another guy to mess it up and do gel and not dip and to walk out with a extra long nail that wasn’t all the same size as my others. Tried to explain that it was longer but he argued with me to tell me it was the same 😡 never again they can’t even understand English at all
