NOT IMPRESSED!!! Not sure about any of the other people in the studio****** but I purchased a group-on that is evidently only good with Jamie. I did once in a bit of desperation in terms of getting a response ring the salon and they were very courteous and gave the info and explained I had to book with Jamie herself.I purchased Group-on for a mani/pedi on 8th Jan with the idea to use it in March on my birthday (it doesnt expire till May so plenty of time to use it). I have NEVER has this much (or any!!) trouble with Groupons in the past and I was thrilled as this business is just up the road from my house. I left THREE messages and only spoke to her twice. The first time she didnt have a lot of openings and I said Id ring back (as I needed to work out childcare and was already wary as it was so hard to get a hold of her in the first place).The second time I spoke with her, she said her Grandmother had just gone into hospital. Obviously things like that are traumatic and I am an understanding person. I said sure no problem I totally understand (this was already many phone calls into the process) and she said she would ring back the next day. Days later I tried again and left a polite message but explained if I didnt hear back from her by the end of the next day then I would contact group-on.She then replied via text saying This is Jamie at Beyond Hair Studio and Spa. First off I dont appreciate the engative voice mail when I have only recieved 1 from u and it was negative. Second my grandmother had a stroke so the last thing Ive been worried about it nails. And 3rd if u would like a refund call Groupon. I am now back at the salon and taking appointments if u decide to come in let me know.This person obivously has no understanding of customer service etiquette. What confidence would I have going to her now? And I was very polite in my message not rude or mean just trying to get some response. Its unbelievable and bad service that Id have to make so many phone calls to get an appointment in the first place. And to answer in that manner is unprofessional.So this review comes with that caveat that Im not sure about the salon itself (that would be entirely unfair) but Id just make sure you dont book or get Jamie when you go!
