A visit to this laundry takes you back 50 years. Floral wallpaper which is also already half a century. The flowers are almost all withered and it is high time to throw them away. Dirt is everywhere, between washing machines, slot machines are so dirty that its hard to imagine children playing in them. Inconvenient carts, taking things out of the washing machine, fall to the floor. In the corner are scribbled washed things, the owners of which have forgotten about them. The visitors of this institution are extremely diverse, but the most unpleasant thing is, of course, the smoked individuals. Those who want to wash things are extremely energetic, approaching the entrance, opening the trunk and blocking the entrance (exit). The premises have long been in need of renovation, but the owners do not care, because there are enough people willing. An extremely unpleasant place to visit.

Its not a modern laundromat at all. But the lady working was attentive and helpful enough. It got the job done, but not my first choice of laundromats.

Cute old laundromat. Needs repairs and maintain. Dust and dirty everywhere. Little bit of elbow greasy would make a difference. Theres some toy machine that arent in service. Most of the washers and dryers are out dated. To start the dryers is 50 cents for 20 mins. The washers are big. They dont cost for hot water. Would I come here again? No. The laundromat I usually go to was closed bc of Easter.

No one seemed to be there working. Most if the washers and dryers were out of service and the place is a mess. Theres dust everywhere too.

Nice place to do laundry. Prices are competitive. The best part is that the staff/owner is keeping all surfaces wiped down and she is wearing a mask! Excellent! The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is that the patrons are not wearing masks with one or two exceptions.

This is a great laundry. Always clean, with lots of machines which always work. Well-lit, good prices, and plenty of places to hang out, and with the convenience store and snack bar attached.. Besides dry cleaning, they will even do your laundry if you leave it!The owners are usually on site, helping to keep us safe. Dan does not tolerate idiots if anyone claims poor service. Nonsense-- tons of regular customers have been coming with their kids for years. This is a good place.

None of the detergent dispensers work, half the ancient video games dont work, the candy machines either dont work or the candy is 20 years old, and a chunk of the washers and dryers are out of order.....BUT its cheap here, spacious, the machines that DO work are amazing and they are open late, and the attached convenience store will take care of your hunger and thirst cravings!

Store attached to it so if the coin machine is down, u can walk thru n get quarters or whatever u want while and if u wait. Decent prices with decent washers n dryers. Starting to get busier than usual but u still have pretty good options on the washers. So much better than my apartments w/d. Cheaper too.

Everyone who works here is very nice, helpful and they let me take my dog in and sometimes give him a bone to go home with!! Cant get better than that.

Awesome place although they could clean out the laundry soap compartments, they are really caked with laundry soap! Dryers work really fast and dry clothing really well!

My experince is so bad ... I come in this laundry for 5 year... But today I touch the water and is really relly cold water ... I did pay extra many for hot water ... And went I ask the personal charger she start so mad so angry and she said I can refun many Offcourse all my clothes is so dirt ... No have sign about only have cold water... The old chubby guy was one of the rudest people Ive ever met. His machines are complete garbage. They were breaking down left and right on people so naturally everyone is asking for help and the gentleman, if you wanna call him that I prefer a little ugly troll with little man syndrome, was telling people they didnt know anything and having a very rude, condescending attitude. I will never return to this hell hole of a laundromat because of the gatekeeper/troll and I recommend you dont either!

Ive been coming to this laundromat for a very long time. Its ok. I would have said it gets the job done...but it doesnt. In the past recent months another customer pointed out to me that there was no hot water so I started checking it out for myself. She was right! I couldnt believe it! If you push certain cycles on the washers, it will add to the price of the wash. Ok, I can understand that. Hot water cost extra I suppose, but there is no hot water! I always wondered why my whites were always so dull & never really came clean. Upon noticing this, I spoke with Sharon who basically runs the place. I always found her very nice and easy to get along with. The next time I came in she said she had spoke with the owner (Dan) and he had or was putting in a larger hot water tank. That was an untruthful statement and Ill tell you why in a moment. I went ahead & did my laundry. My white sheets came out as dull as they had gone in...you know how when you sleep on one side and the sheets get dirty looking because of body sweat or whatever...well they werent clean AT ALL. There was no hot water even though I had even paid extra for it! So I started using Westside laundry on 24th St because its closer to where I now live and its excellent! Tiny, but quaint and Cathy that owns & runs it is outstanding! However, I had alot of blankets & quilts and had to go over to the Austin Bluffs area so I thought I would just go by the old Greencrest laundromat forgetting all about no hot water! So I washed my things, paid extra money for the warm water (completely my own fault for forgetting) and got the same results plus this time and this is when I knew I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! I had three white blouses with simple little stains that should have easily come out and didnt (of course, no hot water) plus it took so much extra money this time for the dryers, has the heat been turned down too so that this owner can make more money, I dont really know but not only did I have to deal with all of this but I was about to have a heat stroke because there is NO AIR CONDITIONING! I finally went over and talked to Sharon, sweetest woman ever, or so I thought. I told her I wouldnt be coming back & this is the Ill tell you in a moment story. #1 no hot water & she said before it was going to be fixed, #2 paying extra money & still not getting the hot water, #3 dryers not working as well anymore, #4 doesnt have A/C even with the extra money charged for nothing & finally the kicker, #5, when I went to talk to Sharon about the no a/c, dryers costing more & of course no hot water & how weve discussed this before, she slipped before I could finish and said I told you before we dont have any hot water.....What?!?! When I reminded her of our previous conversations, she tried every way possible to cover up that last comment. I was so blown away that I couldnt do anything but walk away and that is why this is why I will never enter that laundromat again! Sad but true. Its all good until its not. This greedy man makes a fortune in there & cant even supply his loyal customers with hot water or a/c. What a shame. When you go to a laundromat, check your washers while theyre running to make sure youre actually getting what youre being charged for, like hot water. Sorry for the long rant but enough is enough! They got 1 star rating because you cant go any lower.

Has what you need but needs to be updated. Most of the vending machines did not work and looked like the items in them have been sitting for a decade.

I came in today to wash one load of clothes. I had a crazy day it is Easter so I came in at about 9 pm with my daughter. There was a lady here that Ive seen before and she didnt say anything. I started my clothes and realized they closed at 10pm so I was hurrying up. Once it hit about 9:45pm. I was about to get my load to the drier when Dan (the owner) came in telling me I wasnt allowed to finish to dry my clothes because they closed at 10pm. He btw said this in the most rude and condescending way with my daughter standing there. I didnt know who he was at first and it made me on gaurd and startled with his approach. I had only one load and was putting it in at 9:45 not 10. He expected me to load a large soaking wet load of clothes out of there? I explained Id never came this late before and didnt know they closed at 10pm. He was continuing to explain I wasnt allowed to finish my closes but I had already put my quarters in...he then said he would give me my money back to go somewhere else and walked away. The lady sweeping the floors would not give me my money back and when he finally came back I had keep my drying going and asked him for my money back. He told me he was not going to. I see very rude, unprofessional, and absolutely no integrity with the owner of the business. I will NEVER give this establishment my business again. Please be aware of where your money is going.

It super bad the owners are really rude, disrespectful, no customer service at all. Lost $6.00 on their machine let the women owner know and her response was thats not my problem and just walk away. And ive been coming here for 1yr and half and spend $25-30 weekly I wont ever come again. Soo people who come here come with plenty of money because the owner wont refund anything so pissed off.

A reasonable option other than your apartment or if in need. Cost will go up if you want hotter washes, but machines they have are commercail use washers very strong very good. I dont use hot water, THERE, unless i really need to, as their DRYERS ARE Amasing. Just ask if theyre are any you shouldnt use, as it is family run, and always someone around.75 cent to start dry for 21 minutes 25 cents for extra 5 minutes, i put a dollar in, probably dont even need that. i just have huge loads..... lol
