I am a nurse who has worked with MGA on several different cases and I have a had wonderful experiences here! With the office staff as well as staff out in homes! Nurses are given excellent training and have great support while out in homes. The best part is that it is so rewarding to work with kiddos and their families! Watching them grow, and gain health and strength is beautiful! If you’re looking to work for a great company, or if you’re looking for great homecare for your little one, I’d recommend MGA.
Worked here for 2 years. If you have disabled children like I do, run!!!! They cap hours. My sons where approved for more hours and I was told if I wanted to work them they had to pay me less.
We moved to Colorado from Florida. It was so stressful, but everyone at MGA made it so much easier. Everyone there is super nice, and answer any questions I have promptly. I would highly recommend anyone to obtain any type of services thru them. I have become my daughters CNA thru them and they also are helping me with getting therapy services thru them. Its a win-win situation. I dont have to hunt around to find services its all at MGA!
MGA is a wonderful place that helps special needs children meet mile stones throughout their life. MGA truly cares about our community and the families that are in it. They go above and beyond in all that they do. You get complete and total support from the moment you become apart of the MGA Family💚MGA stands for excellence in Homecare service. When it comes to deciding what company you want to be apart of.... choose the one that is going to give you the best care possible and make you apart of their family!💞👨👩👧👦
MGA has provided so much for my family for the last 4 years! Not only therapies and education, but the opportunity to take care of my own kiddo! My son has CNA, PT, OT and Speech services through MGA and they are all amazing therapists! Our management team, Travis and Patti, has always been there when I need them, even for emotional support! They have always made us feel like a priority and address concerns and questions very quickly. MGA takes care of its clients and employees!
My daughter Janice Johnson love working with MGA home care. The team at MGA from the CNA, Nurse, business office, and management, are very knowledgeable, positive, helpful, and caring group of people. I work for MGA to care for Janice. I have a profound impact on Janice life by providing care, support ;and by helping to become more independent and confident in her own abilities.
My family has used MGA for about 5 years. They provide excellent services. All of the staff that I’ve met are respectful and considerate to all of our needs. The RN conducts thorough health evaluations on my boys. To include encouraging extra curricular activities such as Scouts or sports. They seem to be just as interested in my families emotional health as they are in the physical health. This is an excellent company to work with. If you’re in need of any of their services, make it a point to at least check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
Ive been a CNA for MGA Homecare for over 2 years. This is the best company I worked so far and the support is great. Travis is super supportive and very professional. He goes above and beyond to ensure I have everything I need to do my job correctly. The nurses are also super professional and supportive. We get the continuation training we need to ensure we are doing the job as expected. I really appreciate all the benefits this company has giving me. This company is super professional and has an excellent work environment.
We love MGA Homecare! We have been with MGA Homecare for 5 years and we couldnt be more pleased with the company as a whole. Travis and so many others go above and beyond everyday for our family always! I would recommend MGA Homecare (and I always do!) to any family in need of a homecare company and/or therapy needs.
I have been with MGA for a little over a year. They are amazing to work with. All nurses are great and being a CNA, they have treated me very well. Good communication.
My family has been receiving services from MGA home health care for 7 years for my son with special needs. It is obvious that your childs Care and general well being are at the forefront of this companys priorities. They will respond with any questions or concerns you may have with proficiency and the utmost professionalism. I could not be happier being a part of the MGA family.
Ive been working with MGA as a parent CNA for almost 2 years now. This company is fabulous at caring for their employees and the clients they serve. They make their employees feel like they are part of a big family. Ive worked for other home health agencies and have never experienced the professionalism, thoroughness, and respect that Ive found with MGA. Charting is always working smoothly and support staff are truly available day or night to answer any questions that come up. They are the BEST company to work for as a parent CNA, or home health RN.
MGA is an amazing company to work for. For me personally this company changed my life by providing an opportunity to financially support my family all the while allowing me to provide quality care for my disabled child. My son has a dynamic team that truly care about him as a whole not just a list of diagnosies. If youre looking for a place that is compassionate, educated, and follow proper protocol with tough medical circumstances....LOOK NO FURTHER.
MGA is a great company, the best homecare company in Colorado Springs. My daughter gets the best possible service and care from the MGA and I am very happy to have been working for more than six years as a CNA for this company. All employees are respectful, professional, and friendly. Great support team. Travis is amazing!
Wonderful company offering such a fabulous service to families in Colorado and beyond. The employees truly go above and beyond to help support, encourage, and grow their relationships with the caregivers and patients.
I absolutely love this company. Ive been with them for over 2 years now. They are the best. The get stuff done and are quick to help out with question and other resources. I will refer them to everyone.
My experience working for MGA has been awesome. From day one I was impressed by the honesty and integrity of the staff.Management has gone over and beyond in support and communication and are always quick to resolve any issues. They sincerely care about about their employees and always let them know that they are appreciated. It has been a blessing working for them!
Ive worked for MGA for over 6 yrs. Its amazing to be employed to care for your own love one. MGA is a progressive company with a well rounded group of caring and qualified healthcare team from administration to specialized fields of care. I so appreciate the continuous education and relevent training I get from them. As an employee and caregiver I can honestly say if youre looking for specialized homecare you wont be disappointed. Give them a chance.
My son is receiving all the therapies he needs through MGA. I am happy with the care he has gotten from the therapist that work with him in our home! We also have nurses that care for my son in the evenings. MGA hires amazing nurses that have become a part of our family!
MGA has been such a great company my son has been receiving services with them for about 7 years now and I have had zero complaints that have not been addressed swiftly. They are always polite and have my sons best interest in mind. Before switching to MGA we had tried two other agencies that did not work out. I am very picky and MGA goes above and beyond 100% of the time.
I am a LPN and worked for MGA for 15 months. I recently was offered a position that offered better pay, a great schedule, and better benefits that MGA could offer. I sent my resignation email to Brett, Ricky, Rudy, the therapists that worked with my client and the MOC to make them aware of my departure. I have received nothing but excellent compliments of my performance, received excellent evaluations, and the family was very pleased with my performance. On the day of sending my 2 week notice, I received a call from Brett, Ricky, and Rudy together on a conference call. I was asked the reason for my leaving and I explained that I received a better offer for employment. I am trying to finish school and this opportunity would help me tremendously. I explained that I would rather not discuss where I was going because I already knew that they could not match this offer. I was not upset with anyone nor did I have a problem with the family. It was just a better opportunity for me. I finally gave in to telling them what my pay was going to be. The next question was where would it be located. I again explained that this offer could not be matched by MGA. One of the men on the call guessed where it was that I was going and had nothing nice to say about another company. that is very rude and unprofessional coming to what is supposed to be management for MGA, Someone on the call made derogatory statements such as No one likes to work there and Nurses have come back to us after working 6 months. I also stated that I would like to train my replacement for this client. I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks to find a replacement. As i was speaking, the phone call was disconnected. My first assumption was that it was accidentally disconnected. I text Brett to let him know that I got disconnected. No response. None of the three men on that call bothered to call me back so I assumed it was done intentionally. That is also very unprofessional. On the same day, after I was rudely hung up on, MOC notified me that she had received a call from Brett stating that they will have a replacement next week. I met the replacement nurse today, 7/8/2020. I already knew that 4-6 weeks for a replacement was not correct. So....to sum this up, the management team needs a course on proper phone etiquette and how to treat employees with diginty and respect. I have been a nurse for 31 years and have never encountered such unprofessionalism by management. I think that I am capable of making choices for myself. They obviously havent read my resume. I have an extensive history in the field that I have chosen to pursue. I will never return to MGA for employment nor will I refer anyone for jobs or services.Cynthia Dickerson
MGA HOMECARE is one of the best cna parent providers in Colorado Springs! I’ve been with them for 3 years and go over and beyond for their clients!! Vincent Holmes and Michelle Harrison are super sweet and super kind! When you walk into the office your greeted with a smile and nothing but kindness!! They work with your schedule! They’re more like family!!! I love it here and you will too!!
We have worked with MGA for about 4-5 years now. Great company!
Incredibly disappointing with this company. I work there from 2014-2017, felt a great sense of loyalty to them, even after I was offered higher income at other agencies, I stayed loyal to them. I leave after they gave me false information and told me no travel was allowed. After working for another company for the past two years, Mga would tell me to my face how I was welcome back anytime. They sent out a recruiter, told me they would hire me back, they offered me .50 cents less per hour, cause that’s how they valued my loyalty. Then 6 weeks after our meeting, I’m still waiting to work, with they stroke of their pen they have it in their power to allow me to work, but again their sense of loyalty is skewed. The favoritisms varies when it comes to what they can get from you, they pay higher rates to new comers, and lack to reward those who helped built their brand. Very disappointed in this agency.
Great company. My kiddos love their therapist.
Great place to work! Very caring staff!
This company helped my daughter for over two years, when we notified with only three days notice and no warning from anyone that we were denied ALL nursing services by Medicaid. It should have been communicated to us that this could even be a possibility, it was only brought to my attention that nursing hours would decrease. Because of the lack of communication, and therefore loss of trust between case management and our family, we decided to leave this company and sign on with someone else. It felt hurtful that we were with this company for over two years, and we were given only three days notice that this company could no longer help my daughter. Only one person on staff, Rudy, cared to say goodbye and offered help if we ever needed it in the future. If you want a company that truly cares, will communicate well, and is professional, I recommend going with another company.
WHY I LOVE WORKING AT MGAI have never ever in my life had such a wonderful career. It is wonderful to get tech assistance, nurse help, basic support and employee acknowledgment all in one place. MGA has grown with the times. MGA offers digitalcharting, paid time off for even CNAS, and compliance with state requirements. Life happens and knowing your covered is one less stressor..I was taught in house to become a CNA. I am more than grateful that the testing center is the MGA classroom. My teacher is amazing and still educates those coming in.Truthfully, I make small mistakes as the state rules and regulations change. I am always afraid that I will be reprimanded or worse. Instead I am taught and then supported as I learn the new methods. The understanding and kindness towards me has been wonderful.
MGA will do everything they can to provide the best patient care across CNA, PDN and therapies. They have fantastic internal teams to get services started as soon as possible.
I have worked with MGA for years as a parent and as an employee and I have been so well taken care of and I know I can always call to get help with outside resources as well. Great company!
I have been a CNA with mga for going on year 5 and they have Been great with my girls!
MGA has been a great company to work for. My family has been with them for about three years now and when I decided to become a CNA for my daughter I contacted the staff and they set me up including offering me an opening in their school to earn my CNA in Colorado. I know it’s more work for them, but my case manager messages me on the regular to remind me of trainings that are due to include notifications. I’ve also been up with a secure email address too. They all personally sign holiday cards for me and my family and I believe that they care about my wellbeing and want me to succeed. When my family first started everything was paper-based but now it is all digital and very easy to complete charts. In addition, we do earn Paid Time Off, something that I was told from an outside organization that MGA did not do but they were wrong. I also can rest assured that MGA is compliant with HIPAA and my family’s privacy.
MGA has been the biggest blessing to our family! They made the process so easy and have truly gone out of the way to get the services my son needed. I also went through the CNA program and felt very prepared for the state exam. They are the jack of all trades. I will forever be loyal both as a client and employee! Mindy is my hero!
Very frustrating when I know CNAs making as much as they offered me for nurse pay. Not only that, they hung a good job offer over my head (so I turned down another job offer) and now just called me and said never mind because me having an open schedule mon-thur mornings wasnt enough for 1 hour visits. I feel like Im being played. I feel like a joke to these people, so I will not be taking any job offer in the future.
Awesome and friendly people, and safe and fun environment.... 5 star treatment. It’s a place where every makes you feel welcome.💕
The staff here is amazing!
I have been with 2 years now and they have been wonderful.
Great staff, great support team
Honestly went through 5 therapists (2 speech & 3 OT) over one year with this company. At first it was great. After awhile when you notice there is 0 instructional control you begin to wonder. The most horrific event was regarding the AAC device. After 10 months of “trials” (really they didn’t start the paperwork until I started complaining) the SP orders the wrong device for him to trial. Her and the sales guy at Tobii then tell me he will borrow one until his device arrives. That it will take 2 weeks to arrive and if it goes well, it will roll over into his device. 1 month later it still doesn’t come. Without warning the SP arrives to session and takes the device from my son. 15 years old, never had a voice and was EXCELLING with the device. Expressing himself in ways never before possible.Immediately he begins in aggressive behaviors. Two months later we still don’t have a device... We finally get it and the SP is asked to follow a simple reward system protocol. Instead she rewards him for bad behavior. When provided constructive criticism, she says maybe she isn’t the right fit. So much more to go on but I think y’all get the picture. My son missed over a month of therapy due to MGA’s poor communication skills with their therapist. They hired someone for my son and that person couldn’t see him at the times he was available... he missed over a month of services due to that mix up. Finally get a new knowledgeable OT but she was extremely rude and condescending to me. She literally implied that my son followed her directions because she was companionate/empathetic. Hello he has a whole team of compassionate empathetic people supporting him—it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know f you only see him once a week for 45 mins he’s going to have a longer honey moon phase with you. She also cut me off as I was explaining to my son how his behaviors led to me takin away his reward—if my son already isn’t listening to me, why cut me off from talking/explaining which implies my words are irrelevant? 🥵
Good place to work, great people, awesome therapists
This place is the worst place I ever dealt with they lie and belongings just walk away without a trace however Eric was great before he left the company
We love MGA! And Travis rocks!
