The wwp helped me to get care when the VA flat out refused for almost a year. The wwp is saving lives.
I am ever so THANKFUL for this organization. They truly care and are very passionate about helping us Veterans out (from physical, mental, social, career, and VA benefits). I would particularly like to mention by name my VSO, Mr. Matt Haley, who has gone above and beyond what any other VSO I have had in the past from other organization who were not so helpful with my situation. Mr. Haley definitely knows all things Veterans. Thank you WWP for all that you do for us! God bless you all!
So I went to this office explained what I needed and they told me I wasnt pre 911.So they couldnt help me for being a vet I was pretty much on my own. They only help vets who lost a limb and the hell with the rest. They need to close this office if their not going to help everybody. And put military in this office. Because these people dont have a clue.
Wounded Warrior Project is a great organization if you like wasted donation money. Dont expect them to get back to you in 72 hours as they claim, more like 72 days. If you are looking for Veteran services in Colorado Springs contact the VFW or Warriors first. Nice building, thats exactly what your donation goes to; building rent, salaries, and guilt trip commercials. Highly dont recommend!
This place is amazing and really awesome staff. When I need a break from all the craziness sometimes I like to go here and just relax and hang out. They have a great kitchen area and the staff is always willing to help in any way that they can.
Friendliness is above par at the office. Peer mentors are a joke, depend on yourself, focus on what gives you peace, and dont stop. Ever. Noone will care about you the way you do, and they cant understand unless they have traveled the same road. You are your own greatest asset. Put your hope into yourself and not strangers.
These individuals truly care and make a difference in veterans and veterans families lives. Thank you very much.
Being a jungle marine 1959 to 1961 in recon. makes my heart feel grateful & happy, for these young warriors. doesnt count how many times you fall! what matters the most, how many times you get UP!!!!
Thank you to the heroes theres a lot of things going on in this world today and I have a lot of respect for the ones that protect us
Very helpful with VA claims.
I personally have had great experiences with the Wounded Warrior program office in Colorado Springs. I joined in 2010 when I was at Ft. Carson WTB. I have been on a few of the events, the staff and mentors have been professional. Many of the staff and mentor are prior military or have family that have or are serving.
Great experience in service and information for veterans and families!
A great place for helping veterans!
Worst people ever..do not go
All they do is spend their donation dollars on their employees and screw the veterans.
Only 60%is actually spent on vets.but Im not a vet.but my dad and brother was
Incredible!
