I had never used a professional evaluator before. I have always proctored our standardized tests myself at home.With 4 dyslexic kiddos the process of proctoring standardized test was an emotional nightmare that took us 2 weeks. A neighbor told me about Colorado Homeschooling as an alternative to testing. Oh man!!! I wish I had done this years earlier and saved myself (and my kids) so much turmoil. (I never needed testing to tell me where my kids were academically...I already was well aware.)I appreciated how simple the website was and that there was examples for me to follow. It took me about 2 hours to put together the examples for the first child but once I got the hang of it each following example went much faster. Amanda was incredibly encouraging about the progress my kids had made this year. She was also full of praise and support for the curriculum and activities we had chosen to participate in.This was the answer (and encouragement) a tired homeschooling mom needed at the end of the school year! And the cost was the same as ordering our standardized test. Colorado Homeschooling earns an A in my book for making this necessary hoop an easy one to jump through.Thank you Amanda!!!
