Terrible communication. They reach out with job opportunities through email then don’t respond to calls or emails. Twice in the past 2 months they have offered me jobs then either did not do their due diligence and blamed it on me, or flat out lied and told me the position was filled they already offered me. Now they are trying to force me into physical labor positions when that is not my background. Definitely disappointed in this company. I’ve been looking for a job for 8 months and I know I’m more qualified than others they have employed. My life is in a terrible place and I feel cast aside. This country claims there are so many available positions and it’s just a flat out lie.

I previously worked for Randstad years ago. They were a great temp agency at that time. So I thought I should try to work for them again. However, they are nothing like they used to be. I have tried for the last month or so to get a job with them. Maddison had me interview for a position and was not offered the job. After that, I have spoke with Amanda about 2 different positions and she offered me one and I accepted. She said she had to run my background so I waited a week and no response back. I finally spoke with Ashley about the position and she told me Amanda forgot to do it, but yet she would never reply to any of my messages. So then Ashley says she will do it. It has been almost 2 weeks now and still no response. It seems like they only do what they want at this place and dont care about you at all. I have a good work history with them, and tons of work experience but it doesnt seem to matter. They will run you in circles and completely waste your time here. Stay away!

Ashley Lane reached out to me, Conducted an otp interview, Then hung up on me. I attempted to call her back several times immediately after and she never answered. I emailed her within minutes, No response. Im reaching out to the corporate office about this type of behavior from a recruiter. Very unprofessional and rude.

After 5 weeks of checking all my personal info bank, checkbox background. Five weeks later inform I didnt pass check. Never been in trouble, no drugs, last job 18 years, which closed also stated credit check. I was crush five weeks wasted after job hunting 2 years. Felt veryvunprofessional.

Randstad placed me in a job after just a few days of contacting them. I have been working the assignment going on 6 months now and I haven’t had any problems. They’re pretty quick about getting back to you if you have a question or concern. I get direct deposit and have never had a problem with getting paid each week. All in all I have had a great experience with the Winston Salem team and have no complaints.

This is my first time being employed by a temp agency. Kristen is the best. She has been so helpful to me and she is a pro at her duties. The job I was placed in was going great but they have been having problems with their machines so we were all laid off. While I was stressing,she was working diligently to place me elsewhere. I received an email from one of the recruiters about a possible job offer. I emailed her back saying I was totally interested what all do I need to do to get started? Its been a week and no response back. I called the office yesterday only to receive an answering machine. I left a VM and still no response. So today went to the office to see if I could get a response in person. I walked into the building, assuming it was another recruiter that approached me and asked how can I help you? I stated Im looking for the recruiter that sent an email about a job opening. When I told the recruiter the name, she says, Oh no she doesnt work here at this location. We dont know who she is actually. We believe shes a work from home recruiter. I then asked, Well is there anyone else that can help me with the job opening that she emailed me about? She says, Oh no because we are each assigned to different jobs. I said, Even if you all work for the same company? She said, Yes Im sorry. I totally felt great customer service was not provided and I just may take it to the head person. Absolutely ridiculous!

As soon as I walked in the door. They asked what they could do for me. No problem with talk or being friendly. Treat people like a friends from day one. Not like they are better then anyone like the other places Ive worked for. This office has done everything I have ask. I was contacted by Randstad after a rep saw my resume on Monster. A phone interview with the employer was set up. (He was 2 hrs late). The employer then set up a face to face. (once again, 2+ hrs late) I was told that I had the job and that I would be contacted the next day regarding a hiring package and training to learn their products. I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. THE REP HAD NO ANSWERS, when I was finally able to get her on the phone, and the employer simply went ghost. What a waste of time and gas. They are truly unprofessional. I would use caution when dealing with this service.

Ive applied three times in 2 months. One job I took the assesement test and all. The end result is always the same. And you will hear nothing back from the recruiter. Its very unprofessional and a waste of your time.

A little lengthy, but worth the read. Back at the end of October, I was called about a position with Archer Advanced Rubber Components. I was told that it was for 3rd shift. I went and met with some lady named Cheryl and got the job. I impressed her so much that she actually started me at a higher rate than other employees. Sounds perfect right? Trust me, it wasnt. After leaving, I was contacted by Ranstad and was informed Id have to train on 1st shift, just for the first week, then after, Id be placed on 3rd. While short notice, I still accepted the position, after all, training was supposed to only be for ONE WEEK. I stayed on this assignment for 5 weeks, and never got moved to 3rd. The on-sight supervisor, Tan, was extremely rude and even called a racist, but no one at Ranstad made this clear before sending me out there. He seemed to favor only Vietnamese employees (which there were a lot of), but was extremely harsh on black employees. I witnessed this for myself. By my 3rd week, he had fired one employee after continuously provoking her, he had one lady quit her first week because he was constantly being rude her (and myself), and had fired another guy before he could even start, after he had already been told by another recruiter that he had the job. A week after that, Tan went back and fired me, claiming it was due to attendance. What he failed to mention to Randstad was that the few times I had to be late and tardy was because of his failure to put me on 3rd. I let him know ahead of time I may have to be late or even call out, but didnt want to lose my job, but him not wanting certain people there anyway, ensured he did everything he could to keep me on 1st, knowing any days I missed would be used against me. Needless to say when I called Ranstad and explained this to them, they werent very helpful. They seemed to side more with the company and didnt even let me express my side of the situation. Even when my last paycheck was supposed to be sent and I told them that someone at Archer went in and changed my hours to mess up my pay check, Randstad didnt even care to investigate or question them. They did call and fix it, but they didnt even bother question why Tan would do that. I also havent been placed on any other assignments, even ones that Aubrey still emails to me. Thank God for Kelly Services. They came in and gave me a new position at $14/hr, 60 hours a week. If youre looking for a serious job with REAL recruiters, try Aerotek or Kelly Services. If you can avoid this circus, do so. Your nerves will thank you.

My experience with Randstad W-S has been wholly positive. I deal with staffing agencies on a regular basis and have found Randstad W-S to be top notch in every facet. In particular, the personal service I receive from its employees is outstanding (Janine, Audrey, Madelyn, etc.). I truly feel the desire to connect a candidate to a company goes beyond simply placing people anywhere possible.
