The gym was kind of small, I was just in town on vacation and wanted to work out for the week. They had a weekly plan which was awesome. But the best part was the young lady working the front desk. She was super personable and outgoing despite cleaning up a flood. She never missed a beat all week always greeting with a smile first thing in the morning.

Absolutely love this gym. The classes are the best I’ve ever attended. Friendly, talented instructors that treat you like family. Golds gym in ft Walton beach and Destin are absolutely the best in northwest florida! When you join - you can use both gyms! What a valuable membership!

STAY AWAY, they will screw you overWalked in 6 months ago and told them to cancel my family plan. Gave them my card and said swipe it for whatever is needed to satisfy the cancellation.Walkout with a receipt in hand.Get a call 6 months later my account went into collections…. I’m sure you can imagine how upset I was.

This is a great place to workout!! Great atmosphere, staff, and hours! Top tier gym I highly recommend, come check it out!!

Its a ok place to workout in.When you can actually get the door to unlock for the 24hr access. Nothing more frustrating than taking your preworkout and get at the gym at 4am only to realize that the door is messed up and you cant open it.

Clean facilities, very friendly staff, and most importantly lots of equipment! The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is the space is too small to accommodate the equipment and patrons at the same time during busy hours which can feel cramped. Overall, excellent gym!

Rude customer service never coming back

The gym itself is nice. However, we we verbally quoted one price for 3 months of personal training, and then unknowingly signed a contract with fine print for a much higher amount. Not only that, but they fired the trainer my wife was using, and are still refusing to offer us any kind of refund. The manager, Monica, is currently saying there is nothing they can do. I will update this post if the situation is resolved.

Gym experience was alright but when I had to cancel due to moving out of town after my 1 year contract was up, I had to physically come back to town and cancel in person and they still charged me for the next two month after I canceled. These brand name gyms will do anything to get their money. I highly recommend going to hardbody fitness on 98. Much better customer service.

This gym has great customer service and very experienced trainers. Brittany will be able to answer all your questions with a smile. The childcare is one of the only in the area and they actually care about the kids here. My child never wants to leave. They offer a wide range of classes and have trainers who will help you reach your goals. I have had nothing but good experiences here and would strongly recommend this gym.

The Gym needs to do Anti Mildew Spray against Athletes Foot in the Shower Floors and Locker Room Floors Areas.Also, Mandate that all Customers to wear Shower Shoes.

If I could put 0, I would!!! I had the worst experience, and I’ll never to be back. I used to like the gym but this new “manager,” Monica, is one big liar and a very rude person. She lied to me and to my husband. I didn’t want to talk with her and asked to talk with the owner, but she said that she is owner (which was not true). I was in the gym many times and I tried to cancel my member ship but she was still charging my card 2 times in one month. I asked to speak with the owner again on the cancel papers. I was waiting 3 weeks, but he didn’t call. When I called her and asked why he didn’t call me, she just said that he won’t and she hung up on me. This gym is loosing people because of her, and the owner doesn’t care which is sad!

Would never go back again. When i left for the airforce i gave the manager my orders to cancel my membership, only he never completed the cancellation or just up & forgot. For almost 5 months went by of calling and trying to speak with him or a representative, theyd either hang up on me or keep me on hold as soon as they heard i was just trying to cancel. Even after saying im military. Thats 5 months of paying for a $30 month membership. You are thieves!

Small Golds Gym franchise. Frequent group classes Mon-Thurs. Thin class schedule Fri-Sun. No pool, whirlpool, sauna or steam. Closes at 6pm Sat and 5pm Sun. Watch out for costly initiation fees and other charges.Sloppy admin, sales and billing. There are better gym options in Fort Walton Beach...

Me and my husband got our free passes from their website and went there for training to check out the gym before signing a year long membership. We were told that they won’t accept our free pass because only a manger can approve it and they are not present. But if we want to check out the gym we can pay and go inside. Attitude of the receptionist was kind of rude. We are displeased because we had no information about specific days or conditions to use a free pass in our email messages. Site has no info about it either. We are a regulars somewhere else now and it’s a shame because we always had good opinion about golds gyms till now.

Im here with work for 45 days. I called beforehand and was told to come in and try the gym with a 7day pass.I show up today and the lady at the front desk would not allow me to utilize 7day pass since Im not local. However, she was glad to offer me weekly at $40 or montly $80(after taxes).I may have considered but after they went back on the pass to see if I even liked the gym Ill go somewhere else.That was shady.

I really like this gym. Its not big by any means, but its well-appointed, staff is very nice, childcare is great!

Lots of equipment, but packed in a small space. Everything seemed clean and organized. You will feel at home weither lifting or running on a treadmill. Nice cardio room, and with the bonus of a heavybag.

Great weight section with new, clean and technical equipment for any serious weightlifter. Childcare is a real help and for a great price!

Minus the difficulty to cancel my membership even after a year... its a nice clean gym with a good array of equipment

Not so busy is a plus but the machines are kinda old and the free weights/dumbbells are worse.
