*Sumnary: call a handyman yourself unless you want Homefix to charge you a lot of $ in overhead*I spent nearly $500 on a job that took 20 minutes with a $20 part. I disputed that amount, and asked for details about the final price. I then got a call from my Homefix rep who called to tell me I was wrong, and gave me an NFL analogy about how you have to pay multiple people for one job. The moral I took away from that story is to cut out the middle guy next time. Got it - lesson learned.UPDATE: the repaired part went right back to broke on the first use. It seems I paid a high price for not great work. I have followed up with the company by requesting an itemized bill and a solution for the failed repair - awaiting their response.FINAL UPDATE: Got the itemized bill. Nearly $300 of overhead on a $480 job? I should have done more homework before hiring this company. The itemized bill was clearly rounded up to meet the full estimate amount from my original quote. By their logic, if they had actually done everything on the estimate Id be paying much more than the estimate called for. This means that when they give you a quote its a bare minimum of what youre going to pay, even if the work done is far less than estimated. They are certainly willing to charge more than the estimate, though. Not a fair deal to the customer.Their window guy came out and fixed it again (for free - so thats good) but made comments about how I need to be gentle with it, as if it was my fault.This was a waste of time and a huge source of stress for us during the moving process. I would not recommend Homefix to anyone.

The team at Homefix has been nothing short of what you would hope for in a remodeling company - professional, knowledgable, and responsive. They installed our A/C and replaced our furnace, painted our house, and are continuing with other various services which include replacing flooring, doors, and more. I would highly recommend Homefix to anyone requiring remodeling or handyman services. They have been proactively communicative and exceptionally professional throughout the entire process. I was excited because I thought this would be an easy one-stop shop where I could get several projects done at once with minimal oversight needed on my part. Heres a few issues that I had to deal with: large debris and garbage sitting in my driveway for over a week, large debris left in garage, horrible tile recommendation from a designer that needed to be changed, unbelievably unprofessional tile job (uneven tile, huge gaps at the wall and in the grout, scratched up brand new bathtub, etc.), constant delays, workers coming and going into my house on days they didnt ask about, etc. It was mentally exhausting.But... I was impressed with their responsiveness to my concerns. The painted cabinets, doors, and kitchen grout turned out great.

Helpful and caring, willing to drop what they are doing to fix what others have messed up. Was not impressed with some of the people they Contracted their workout to however.. Do not let them use the pikes peak windows and doors and you will have a much better experience.

I appreciated all the effort that Travis and Andrew put into making my insurance claim roof repair happen promptly. Travis was very responsive. Any time I had a question, Travis was quick to respond. One of my circuit breakers tripped from the compressor the repair team was using during the roof repair. The majority of the family had already departed on vacation, and one of my adult children stayed for them to finish the repairs. The tripped circuit was to a freezer and refrigerator in the garage. I contacted Travis who ran over to the house to see if he could reset it while we were gone; however, he could not. The day we returned, Travis and Andrew showed up at my place to clean out the spoiled food from the freezer and refrigerator. They cleared everything out, cleaned the freezer and refrigerator, and took the trash with them. They replaced the food for me also. This was nothing more than an accident. However, they took responsibility for it and made it right. How many companies will take responsibility for something right upfront? I would say 1%, and Travis, Andrew, and HOMEfix are that 1%. The work was done promptly and professionally. Thank you, Travis and Andrew.

Started a job with homefix. Had them call the first part of July to get an estimate. They cane out, I agreed to the estimate and paid 1/3 of it on 29 July. Today is 29 September and all that has been done is they came to look at ithe project two more times. No work has been started.

We used Homefix for kitchen flooring job. They demoed the existing floor and laid down tile throughout. Their estimates may be a little on the higher end but theit longer warranty is what sold us. Something we didnt know, but for some job duties they contract companies to do the work. For the tile we had put down, they contracted a different company, outside their company, to do the job. Not that that is a problem, but when a truck with a different company name on it shows up at your house, dont be alarmed. They all did an amazing job, no damages, no hidden fees, very transparent about the job, and overall were very happy with everything.

In a world where very few businesses call back when they say they will, and rarely show up when they say they will, Travis with HomeFix was a godsend. He never took longer than a few minutes to reply to my texts and calls and showed up on time or earlier than he said he would, every time. He kept us in the loop during our whole roof replacement process and explained every detail clearly so we knew what to expect every step of the way. His crews can replace an entire roof within one day most of the time. They replaced the roof on our house, huge garage, and shed all in a day and a half. The quality was great and the cleanup was spotless.I would highly recommend giving Travis a call for any roof repair needs.

Hired HomeFix for demolition and popcorn ceiling removal. The demo destroyed much more than was necessary, due to not taking the time to be careful. But the BIG problem was gouging/shredding the ceiling by removing popcorn improperly. When I brought problems to their attention, they would only make things right IF I hired them to do the follow-on remodel. Surprised, I asked for confirmation of what I heard.....they would fix IF I hired them for phase 2. Turns out, their cost for phase 2 was 30% HIGHER than the next estimate!!!! They leveraged me ....... not a good business practice.

Great company that I found on Word of Mouth Colorado Springs. As a musician I cant always take care of repairs myself, although I have family that does construction work. It was great having the opportunity to interact with a construction company as a musician and learn the cost of repairs.

We needed deck repairs as some joists were rotten and we didnt know how many needed to be replaced. Homefix was recommended and we got quotes from several companies. Homefix wasnt the cheapest, but they seemed to be the most honest and knowledgeable. Setting up the repair time was easy and we were kept informed of all actions for the day of the repairs. Everyone was professional, courteous, and pleasant to talk to with respect to the repairs and how they would be done. Our deck is fixed, super sturdy and we will continue to enjoy through out the winter and into the spring and summer. So happy we went with Homefix for the deck repairs. Homefix has also serviced our gas fireplaces and we couldnt be happier with this company we will continue to use the company when we need household repairs or maintainance.

My husband and I both recently moved into a new home and were under a super tight time crunch to get our first home ready to go on the market. Not only did we get Homefix out to do an inspection of our roof--they helped coordinate having it checked out by our insurance company, and then within the week we had our beautiful new roof installed! THEN to top it off we had a few other repairs inside we needed, and super last minute, we called them to see if they could help and they made it happen. Ive hired heaps of contractors throughout years of homeownership and real estate investment properties. I feel great saying that HomeFix is the only company you need to hire anymore for just about any handyman job or remodel work you need done. Lets break down why:- Scheduling an estimate is easy as heck. The website works great and theres a form you can fill out to list everything you need and request a contact. I heard back the same or next day and spoke to a lovely woman in the office who confirmed the work I needed done and scheduled the estimate.10/10 scheduling process. Lets move on.- Chris came out to take a look at what we wanted done before they could give me my estimate. He was Punctual, Professional, and Pleasant, and honestly what more can you ask for than good ole PPP?? He even de-winterized my attic fan (okay its just taking off a tarp but still) while he was up there looking around and checked it off the list. What a guy. He became my point of contact throughout the job and was great all the way through.10/10 estimate experience, lets keep going- We put down our deposit, got on the schedule, and the work began. It was two guys doing the majority of the work and they were awesome. PPP as well, very friendly, efficient, tried to keep us in the loop as to what was going on and did quality work.Smack dab in the middle of the job, the COVID lockdowns started and they werent able to continue as scheduled. Chris was communicative throughout each development keeping me updated and even managed to get our exterior work done during the quarantine. Then, when they were able, they got in right away and finished the job.11/10 everybody is great now lets talk about the work itself- We had a number of small handyman jobs done, which was all done perfectly so its hardly worth mentioning - where they really shined was the biggest jobs. We had two creaky, failing, interior staircases completely replaced and youd think they had twice as many guys working on it for how efficient and good of a job they did. Once the carpet pad was laid down those stairs dont make a damn sound even if you jumped up and down on them.Speaking of carpet, they tempered my expectations as far as getting a perfect match on our carpet for the stairs and our paint for some drywall work. Totally reasonable, right? Well, they went ahead and got a perfect match anyways. What a guy(s).I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Everyone that they sent into my house was just awesome to work with. My point is, you can trust HomeFix for any job, big or small, in your home. Could you find someone to do the work cheaper? Maybe a little bit, but Ill gladly spend that little bit more to have work done right any day, and you should too. If youve read all this and arent convinced, look at their guarantee policy and youll see theres really no reason to wait - hire them! I plan to again very soon.

We had such a positive experience with Homefix when it was time to remodel our bathroom (due to an insurance claim that Homefix made totally painless). We hired Homefiz to install a new floor, toilet, vanity, mirror, and baseboards, and to paint for us.. The work was outstanding. It has been several months since our project was completed and Im still thrilled with the craftsmanship every time I walk by the bathroom! Outstanding service. Responded on New Years Day to leak from roof. Arrived right on time after receiving a phone call advising he was on his way. Travis shoveled my roof around leaking area, scheduled appointment for three days later after ice melted. Inspected, advised, gave a quote for replacing gutter and installing heat cable. Didn’t charge a thing for two call outs. Really impressed with the quality of service.

This just went from a 5 star to a 2 star. I called asking for an estimate for my bathroom that took way longer then it should have to get. They do all the stuff you would expect of a quality company but for some reason can be hard to find elsewhere! I mean stuff like being respectful courteous, clean, communicative and on time! I have had too many issues in the past (other companies) not showing up when they said they would, being messy and inattentive, and touch to communicate with. This was one of many projects that we have done over the last 5 years or so and it was definitely the least stressful and most enjoyable to get done.

I had Homefix give me a quote on replacing my 28-year-old cedar shake roof. They price was lower than a competitor, even though they offered a higher-class impact resistant shingle. We scheduled the job for a week and a half later, and they completed the whole thing in 1 day. They did a great job cleaning up, and even replaced the little roof on a toy house in the front yard because they saw my son playing with it. They came by a couple days later to make sure everything was picked up and I was satisfied. Great service, highly recommended!

Hone Fix was quick to get us scheduled for our heater to get fixed. It was not turning on and the HVAC guy was professional, clear on what he found and got it working again in a timely manner. We will be calling Home Fix again if we need work to be done.

We used Homefix to remodel a small bedroom in our house. They did it quickly and ahead of their predicted schedule. It wasnt a big job but they were so through well definitely be using them for any future remodels on our house. It was easy too because they have all the contractors needed to do a job so they took care of all the coordinating of the schedule so all I had to do was pick out materials!

So we used Homefix for the first time today. Excellent quality handyman work. Josh and David were the crew that tended to our home. They were on time, extremely thorough in work done and both know and are very qualified in what they do. Answered any questions we had so that we, the customer, know the importance of why it is important follow thru with home maintenance. They scrapped and painted outside of shed as paint had began peeling off in chunks. They fixed our expansion joints and cracks in our driveway and patio out front. They fixed our weather stripping on bottom of front door. These are all things that had shown wear and tear in the 5 yrs we have lived here. So now our home is more than ready for the winter and we can sit back and enjoy the snow and cold temperatures. Where many can do these projects themselves, we needed help and we are glad we chose HomeFix.

I hired Homefix to renovate two bathrooms. They submitted the lowest bid, half that of one other contractor, and I was a bit leery, but I had met and liked Gino and Griff, so I signed the contract. I could not be happier. Every workman who worked on the project (and there were a bunch of them) was on time (or called to say theyd be late), professional, polite, diligent, and cleaned up after him or herself. They did an excellent job communicating with me throughout. They finished on schedule and for the agreed upon budget. Their quality control process was thorough and impressive. Homefix recently replaced some rotted fascia board at the roofline of my house, which involved removing and reattaching the gutters. They did an excellent and timely job. In the past, they have also done painting work on both the interior and exterior of my old house, as well replacing sheet rock and other less extensive work. They always do an excellent job.

I haven’t got any work done from this company. Yet.. But after that awesomely funny ad on my cell phone, the e-advertising ads that pop up from time to time, I will definitely be calling them. We used HomeFix previously to repair hail damage on our house a few years ago. We were very pleased with their professionalism, promptness and quality of work.So when we learned they started an HVAC Division, we didn’t hesitate to use them to service our furnace and whole-home humidifier. HOMEfix exceeded our expectations in having our roof replaced. No one wants to replace their roof, but HOMEfix made the process easy and stress free.HOMEfix worked directly with our insurance company to help us receive more money than the original quote and was also able to fix the vinyl on a window rather than replace the whole window. These cost savings were much appreciated and totaled over $2,000 of savings for us.We were also able to schedule our roof being replaced during a weekend when we were out of town, which was nice since it didn’t disturb our one-year old’s nap schedule.We hope we don’t have to replace our roof anytime soon; however, if we do, HOMEfix has earned our trust and we would definitely use them again.

I needed to build a wall and install a door to secure the basement from the main level. My cats are not supposed to go down there! Despite the issue of distance (I was in Arizona trying to coordinate the job) and the further complication due to COVID-19, the crew from HOMEfix was able to complete the work in a timely manner. Everyone was totally professional and friendly and did fantastic work with little or no complication to our lives and with no mess! I absolutely will call them again for any project and highly recommend them.

Griff and Matt are amazing! They happily went to our properties and tarped anything that needed it from the hail storms until we could get the insurance claims submitted. We obtained bids from four contractors. Homefix was not the cheapest, but they were the most professional and impressive from the start. They made a HUGE project as painless as possible. We primarily worked with Bryan Munson, the production manager, and Ben Wilder, our project foreman. They were both outstanding! Ben managed the daily work and kept everything running very smoothly. He and every worker were respectful of us and our home. When everything was completed and Bryan did our final walk-through, he noticed the smallest things that he wanted touched up or corrected. Very impressive! In approximately three months, we had great new living space in our basement and two beautifully updated bathrooms. Even with a few change orders, the project came in at budget also. We are so glad we chose Homefix and we highly recommend them to everyone!

Their employees are the equivalent of children with daddys tools. Multiple projects had to be redone because the workers simply did not have the knowledge of the work they were attempting to do. The people you deal with initially (Griff, Brian) sell you on this amazing work and make all these promises, but the supervisor was rarely present, there were multiple days when NO ONE showed up. They were unresponsive and when they did respond they were less than pleasant to deal with. They say they guarantee their work but every time they fixed something, first they tried to cast blame on us, but if they did fix it we were just left with another half-finished result. Ultimately we were just sick and tired of dealing with them. We will most likely end up spending thousands more (paid ~$20k) to fix the work they attempted. Also, they say theyll clean as they go, but they made a mess even on work they had just completed and we ended up having to do most of the cleaning ourselves. Pics show their awful trim, grout, and spackle work. Save yourself a lot of money and frustration and look elsewhere.Edit: Had them in my house more than once to fix things they did wrong. Griff offered to come by yet again, but I would not trust this company to set foot on my property again nor would I recommend this company to anyone for any project ever.

Home fix is professional, efficient, timely, and quick to acknowledge if they cannot repair an item evaluated by the estimator. Jessie was simply terrific, and on leaving a parking area, could not have seen a neighbors low-lying driveway light; he repaired and replaced within 24 hours, doing so better than the initial installation. Our neighbor was most impressed and hired Homefix for her projects. Homefix may not be the least expensive option for home repairs, but they surely are the best.

I am very happy to have chosen Griff. He was pleasant, professional, quick and efficient. I believe they did a great job and he and his staff took care of all the insurance related paperwork as well!I highly recommend HomeFix. Great business. Home fix remodeled my basement this fall. They did a wonderful job. They were responsive, Timely, respectful. Every day they showed up on time, and if someone was running late they always give me a call or text. Jesse was the foreman and he was very respectful, cleaned up everyday, did preventive maintenance to make sure things are clean like putting rosin paper down, and putting up plastic so the whole house did not get Dusty. I would definitely hire home fix again. And luckily they finished ahead of schedule. Plus, when I got crazy and decided to put a rock wall in my basement they more than happy to get crazy with me

The work their subcontractors have done so far is fine (theyre still not done a shower remodel after 7 working days), but the office staff seem pretty disorganized. I had to contact them on four different occasions to get my shower remodel back on their schedule.First, they forgot to put me on the schedule. No big deal. Everybody makes mistakes. Then, they successfully scheduled a plumber after demolition. Hooray! Things are moving forward! After that I had to contact them to get a tile guy scheduled. They still werent done after that and have to have a plumber and a drywall guy come in to finish things up, so I had to contact them again to get this scheduled. Their project manager sounded surprised when I told him they werent done, but scheduled them while I planned to be on vacation. That didnt work so he said he would call me back to reschedule the Monday after I returned. The call never came. So I contacted Homefix yet again to get back on the schedule. Finally back on the schedule to get things done after blowing this whole week with no work done. Disappointing. I expected better.Still, I let them quote a couple more jobs I needed done as their work has been good. They quoted one and never sent me a quote for the other, which is a project I needed done quickly. So, I had to hire someone else as it took them 2 days to get back to me after I told them they didnt send the quote I needed. Everyone is nice and professional, but the experience has been disappointing. I dont think Ill use them again.

I have used HomeFix several times over the last 4 years from hanging fans/lights, to finishing/insulating my garage. Work is always on time and to my satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Griff and his team from Homefix Colorado Springs were nothing less than AMAZING!! Our house was under contract to be sold and a day before closing we got hit with a massive hail storm 😞😞😞. We reached out to Griff and his team to see if they could get our house fixed within a month so our buyers would not walk away. Griff completely understood our situation and without hesitation expedited our house so we could meet our deadline. Soon after our new roof was installed and we were waiting for the house to get finished to close, another hail storm hit our area. The new roof got damaged once again and this time the buyers were ready to walk if we couldnt complete the work within 3 weeks. At the end Griff and his team were able to meet this second deadline and we finally sold our house. We cant begin to say how grateful we are for everyone at Homefix Colorado Springs. Throughout this entire ordeal they were nothing but professional and understanding. The work was done in a timely manner and the Handyman doing the work was knowledgeable, efficient and wonderful to work with. The work that needed to be done was accurately visualized at estimate and was accomplished exactly as estimated with quality materials (pressure treated lumber & flooring material). The job was thoroughly cleaned up, including under the shed floor where debris had accumulated. When I need another job done, this is positively who I will go to.

Very happy with the work done! We had 3 exterior doors replaced by another company prior to HomeFix who did a horrible job and damaged not only the new doors but also both the interior and exterior of the house around all of the doors and in areas not by the doors. Homefix came out and re-installed all of the doors and fixed the damages as much as possible and did a fantastic job with what they had to work with! Very happy with the work preformed!

I am finishing my basement in my house. I sent out a request for drywall and mudding/taping work for my 1000 ft^2 basement. This company sends out emails daily to me (spam) and I just selected unsubscribe again (after the first time I gave a week for their distro to update). I had a total of 6 true companys (licensed/insured) come and give me a quote. All companys got the same guidance and request. Some how this companys price is 3 times that of all the other competitors. This company (the other five were within 15% of each other).

We were thrilled with the work done by everyone at Homefix. Griff has assembled a very professional crew, staff and sub-contractors. We would hire them again if we needed additional work. They completely remodeled our master bath, did interior painting, and managed to replace most of the flooring in our home. EXCELLENT CRAFTSMANSHIP!

We had Home Fix put in a second bathroom in our downtown bungalow. They did a phenomenal job and we couldnt be happier with the results. Any issues (as to be expected with a major remodel/addition project) were handled with excellent communication and efficient resolution. We will choose Home Fix for any future projects, hands down.

Great company to work with! We had the grounds crew come out and do a wonderful job cleaning up our yard. Then we had their painter come and do some painting in our house. Both jobs were done great, my wife and I could not be happier with Homefix and their crew! We will be using them in the future for our home needs!

Beautiful design, wonderful shower pan, shower tile was set on gypsum board instead of the industry standard concrete board. Unfortunately that last fact blows the whole deal. Be sure they include a supply list with the bill, also an industry standard they neglected. Fine for slum lords but if you want a truly good job go someplace else.

There were a number of repairs we needed around our house. The Home Fix team was on time, very professional and did great work. The price was right too!

I needed tile installed in my living room and bathroom (about 350+ sq ft). I made some calls and either I found tile guys that were not licensed but would still charge premium, or other reputable companies that would give me a date months away just for estimation. Homefix was here on a Friday for the estimation, just couple days after calling them. I was super happy with their professionalism and hired them right away. We also got the material same day. Work was complete next week. I cant imagine how one can do a better job than what Homefix did, no complaints from me. Job well done, honest and good communication. Definitely recommend.

Homefix saved the day (or year really) for me in a roof replacement with a prior roofing company for hail damage claim covered under my insurance. The OTHER roofer did a lot of SHADY things, and Homefix did an inspection providing valuable information about what really transpired. They responded quickly and efficiently, and were readily available - it was amazing!Truly a company with construction knowledge, integrity, honesty, and ethics! So glad that I have found a reliable, responsible remodeling and repair company in Colorado Springs.

Not completely terrible. I hired this company to do several repairs on my house; a fence extension, simple drywall repair, and install a new screen door.The estimation was 1 day for everything, it took 6 days total. The fence is phenomenal but they never informed me of the extra money to stain the fence. The technician simply asked what color I wanted. The invoice had a very large charge for the stain.The company did not call and confirm digging locations and cut my DSL cable on the first day of the job.The dry wall is repaired but wasnt blended well and you can very easily see the outline of the patch.The screen door was never replaced. The technician put new screen on the old door and put that up. Which is great for the screen but half the problem was that the screen door didnt slide. So I have new screen material but the door still doesnt slide so its useless.Im not sure if I would use this company again. The fence is great, the estimator was incredibly prompt and polite. But the quality of work left a lot to be desired.

I recently had Homefix blow in insulation to the R-60 rating in my attic in a tri-level home. I knew that I would save money just by increasing the amount of insulation that I had because the insulation was very shallow and in some areas it was nonexistent. In the half a month that we had the insulation in our ceiling, we saved about $50.00 off our expected $280 - $300 bill. I was very please with the saving and expected to save $600 over the period of a year. When I got my most recent bill for utilities, which was for an entire month I was totally shocked. For the month of February out utility bill was $159.00. That is almost half of our expected bill. Needless to say, I am a firm believer in adding insulation to an attic to R-60. It will save you a lot of money.The team of installers are extremely professional and will work around your schedule. They wont tell you that you will save this kind of money, but I will tell you that you will if you have little or no insulation in your attic. It is money well spent and will pay for itself very quickly. We are now very comfortable in our home and have no cold rooms.I highly recommend adding insulation to your home and using this very professional company. Homefix is the best!.

Overall I am not thrilled with my experience. The job got done but there were some hurdles to get to that point. There are still some paint issues that need to be handled, but to be honest I just dont want to deal with them so I never informed them of that, I am going to do it myself. I will be going to another contractor when I get to completing the remainder of my basement.

We had a time sensitive/ budget sensitive basement remodel that needed to be done on a strict timeline. Homefix and their owner Griff were the only ones willing to take the job.
