Welcome! as I sat there, she greeted every old face with their name and welcomed every new one just the same. This old time, mom and pop barbershop is the most genuine and joyful businesses I have visited. The man in the chair that Patty was working on immediately said welcome too and, You will never want to go any other place after you have a haircut here! He is right. I literally got the best cut in over 10 years and I thoroughly enjoyed being there. From the wait to the cut, I felt this is home. So, my recommendation is try Caveman out and find your new home too.

I have been going to caveman barbershop since they opened. Patty is a real sweetheart and Erit is awesome as well. If you go there you will have a new friend for life! Be sure to ask Patty about foot rubs! LOL!

Good environment. Only go when you have plenty of time to kill though because they only do walk-ins so your wait time is at least an hour long every time and there’s only 2 barbers. The man that did my haircut didn’t know how to blend a fade in so I have a solid line on my head due to his poor skills. Also used clippers instead of a comb and shears like other barbers for more precise cuts on the hair on top of my head. Only go here if you like random conversation I guess.

Been around the world and had my hair cut by many different barbers. Ms. Patty hands down gives one of, if not thee best, haircuts around. She takes care of her customers and is very friendly. I have not had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by the other barber, but Ive been told he is equally as good. If youre looking to just kick back, indulge in good conversation, and get a expert cut, this is the spot. I usually get a medium to high bald fade and have a medium length comb over on top. They are also talented with the straight razor for those that enjoy that smooth skin and the hot towel is the icing on the cake.

I love this place, never once walked out of Caveman Barbershop disappointed. Nothing but awesome people and great cuts, at a great price. I recommend them to everyone I know, and Ive never gotten any complaints. Two thumbs up!👍👍

Be prepared to spend 2+ hours here waiting. Patty and her daughter usually do an awesome job. This last time I went, neither of them were there so I gave Erit a try. Not terrible but not what I asked for and he cut off my sideburns without even asking.

Caveman Barbershop does a great job cutting hair and trimming your beard. Patty is very professional! She knows her customers by name and cares for them like you are family!

Although the barbers are nice and the haircut was decent, if you dont enjoy excessive chatting, this probably isnt the place for you. Additionally, if youre on a tight schedule, youre probably going to want to go somewhere else, the haircut took extremely long for a mid fade with no trim on top.

One of the best places I have been too! I also didnt get cut open as I have been to 4 different places in Colo Springs for a razor or skin fade and been cut numerous times! Great Staff! PROFESSIONAL and they take great care of you! Also the price for their cuts are absolutely reasonable especially with the service they give you! I will be back and I Highly recommend!! Ive been going to ms. Pattys shop for 8 years. Youre always greeted by name from your 2nd time on. Im amazed at how she can remember every single persons name. Always a smile and a laugh. I went on a Saturday a few months ago and got a great cut. Arrived at about 7:05 am and the place was packed. Didnt get out till almost 10. Went again 2 weeks ago and arrived at 6:45 am. Still had to wait about 2 hours before getting into a chair. Great hair cut but not worth the wait

Walked in and was greeted by smiles and hellos. This is the kind of place you go to for atmosphere, if you are a regular they will remember your name, and a good hair cut. Eric was my barber and even though I am terrible at describing just what should be done with my hair he gave me a great cut. Only two thing to be aware of when going here. There are only two chairs in the entire place, so expect to wait a bit, and they only take cash, though the prices are great for the services they offer. These are good, kind, and experienced people, cant recommend this place enough.

Patty is the best barber in town, but I wish I could rate her and the shop in different ratings. Patty is a 5 star barber, but even if you go see her 15 minutes after she opens (anyday of the week) there will already be 10 people in front of you. She doesnt take online appointments, so if you have 4 hours to sit around then this is a great place to go.

I absolutely dont recommend this place. Ive tried to have my hair cut here 3 times and havent succeeded yet. The latest time was today. I arrived at 5:17 with my son (we both needed cuts) and it closes at 6 with 2 barbers there. She told us she could only give one of us a cut. Drove all the way there for 2 haircuts and she tells us we can only get 1? With 2 barbers? 43 minutes before close? No thanks. That makes no sense. If that is how they do math, it should be posted on their business hours.

Lydia is hands-down the best barber I have ever had. Shes the coolest, shes great conversation, and she makes my hair look flawless each time I see her. These ladies offer beer, which is awesome, no one else does that for $15. I was in the barbershop today, in line behind nine other gentleman, seven of which had beards needing to be cut, all completely different shapes and styles. These ladies had no problem with any of them. Theyre a very talented pair and they work so great together.

These ladies know how to trim and shape a beard better than I can and that’s why I drive across town to their location every time I need a cleaned up look. Don’t expect a fancy shop with hip hop music and hipsters. They’re talented old-school barbers that will freshen your look and get you on your way without a fuss. Bring cash and expect to wait at least 10 minutes. They don’t accept cards and are typically busy. But the wait isn’t bad at all.

Today was my first experience at Caveman, and after today it will be the only place I get my haircut. Patty provided me with a fantastic haircut and was very kind and personable. She makes an effort to learn every customers name and welcomes every single person who enters her shop. I went to caveman for a haircut, but I will be coming back because of the environment she has created! Highly recommend!

Get there well before they open on a saturday or wait for a snowy day if you want to miss the line. However waiting just means more time to hangout at the best shop in town.

Absolutely BEST Barber In this city. Party listens to what her customers want, and then does it that way. She always has 7 or 9 people in line, but it moves along quickly, and it seems all the guys who come in here know each other. They get some fun conversations going from time to time. Well worth the wait for the haircut you want.

Came here for a haircut and brought the boy with me. They did a great job on his head and I just got my hair completely shaved down. Next time I go there, I will have to test out the complexity of a haircut style...There are really friendly people here, but the owner wasnt there the day I went.

It’s 5:22pm, just walked in. 2 people there, woman cutting hair other guy is just cleaning up I guess. husband needed a military cut. Tells us they are closed LOL door wide open. Don’t recommend.

Caveman is a great barbershop. The barbers are pretty good and really nice. The draw back is they only have two chairs and it takes them 20-25 minutes a haircut. You should expect to wait anywhere from an hour to two hours.

Stopped in at a busy time apparently and waited over an hour, but they have plenty of good reading material. They will take their time on your hair and give you exactly what you want, unlike many other places. Lydia was excellent. A very friendly barbershop with very good prices. I will be back!

Caveman Barber Shop is by far the most inviting and relaxing Barber Shop I’ve ever visited. You walk in and are immediately greeted. During my last visit Patty immediately caught me asking if I’d cheated on her with another barber shop. Lol, I had. While waiting one can easily have a beer and enjoy jovial and relaxed conversation. Kids are also welcome with a basket or two full of some simple toys to play with. Each time I’ve sat in the chair I’ve received an excellent cut.Now with the good there is always the bad. As others have posted I’d have to mention that Caveman is a popular place. You can get lucky and walk right in or spend a couple of hours waiting. If I have the time it’s well worth it. If not, I give a sad face and get a hair cut somewhere less desirable.

Best barber shop I have been to in Colorado Springs. They have always done an excellent job on cutting my hair. Gets busy there due to how wonderful the ladies are at their job. I have recommended this barber shop to several co workers and I know they would say the same.

I don’t write reviews a lot but I had to make an exception this time. I’ve gone to Caveman Barbershop 3 times now. So the first time with Patty she gives a good haircut I really enjoyed it enough to come back a second time. Well I didn’t get the guys name but his haircut was kinda bad it’s whatever I don’t have to get my haircut by him again. Well second time I went back Patty was busy with another customer so he was all that was left. So I decided to give him another chance and really try to explain what I wanted. I also have a job interview coming up so I didn’t want to look like some kind of hooligan. Well this guy jacked up my hair so bad!!! I really wish i could post photos because it was definitely not what I asked for. If I wanted haircuts like this I would just go to the babershop on post. I won’t be returning after this last haircut. If you decide to go have Patty cut your hair. I haven’t tried the other girl but she seems pretty good. But this experience was enough to say I won’t be going back.

Patty and the people that Patty allows to work at Caveman Barber shop are the best. This is an old fashioned Barber shop where you are going to get a good hair cut with a razor shave on your neck and a hot towel. The price, $15.00 plus tip. There are no appointments, so walk in and sit down. Enjoy the conversations that are going on. This what a Barbershop should be. By and By First Responders and active Millitary the price is, $10.00. At least that is what I have seen Patty charge those folks when she knows.

Best barbershop Ive ever been to. Went here for a span of about 6 months, would be going there for life if I still lived in the area. Would go with my roommate once a month or so and get our beards trimmed. The ladies here know how to cut a beard better than any other barber Ive ever been to and Ive been to a dozen. Every single time Ive gone to another barber shop, Ive always felt like I got ripped by paying for beard trim versus what I got, never had any discrepancies here.
