STOLEN!BEWARE!!! My 2020 enclosed trailer was stolen from this place!! The owner and employees are in on it!! They use the homeless that live in tents around the storage facility!! They play dumb about camera footage! Power tools were used. As I had hitch locks. Homeless crackheads walking around always breaking into the place! Place always feels like it’s being watched. You’d be stupid too put anything in this storage! It will be taken.

0*UPDATE: IT ONLY GETS WORSE AND WORSE HERE!!!The gates lock at 9 now, which would be fine except they wont let you out! I have called their emergency number over 20 times and finally had to call the cops. This property is the absolute worst in town.YOUR THINGS ARE NOT SAFE HERE!!!!!!The gates are left open frequently because they are broken. Your code will not get you in, youll probably be in a line of people who cant get in.The property is not at all maintained even a little bit.1 day late on payment and youre locked out. The late fee is understandable but your items will be held hostage. For one single day late.Dont take your stuff here, take your trash.

My friend wanted to show me her new storage unit that she pays just $94/monthly for — she loves it! This storage facility right off of Powers just before Powers even includes a yard where you can store cars, RVs, boats, buses and more! Inside and out are very well kept and have restrooms, thermometers and security cameras inside and out so your belongings stay secure.

Been renting a space for my camping trailer for over a year now. Recently had an issue with gate not working and us having a camping reservation, long story short when know one would help including the general manager! My hero appears the lady that lives on sight managed somehow to calm down an IRATE customer (me) and helped us to get our trailer out and have a great weekend! Thank you!!!! Also very clean for a storage facility:)

DO NOT STORE your personal belongings here. A Soldier and I came back from deployment to items stolen from our unit. This is two separate units at that. Management does not care and did not help at all. They say cameras are on 24 hrs but that’s a lie. The Soldier and I came back from deployment at different times and both times the workers inside said the cameras were down and there’s nothing they can do. This was probably 5-6 months apart. Please do yourself a favor and go to a different place. Your stuff will eventually get stolen. I can go on and on with other Soldiers stuff being stolen here.

This facility is a piece of ____!!! My trailer was stolen from their property!! They leave their gates, security gates wide open all the time, the code changes to get in the gates all the time. When I go on weekends there is never anyone that answers the phone when I cant get in with my code. They claim no responsibility for my $22,000 trailer being stolen. You pay for storage, you expect your things to be protected and safe. Not with this worthless storage!! Save your stuff and massive headache and run far far away from this place!!

First the hours to access are not what is advertised, on their machine, or on website, so I requested a later access for 2 days to get moved in and to accommodate my work schedule, denied. Then I came to pay they did not have change for me so I was left $14 balance in which they charged me a ridiculous late fee and put a bright rednlock that says non payment on my unit. and of course they barely in office so this is the worst ever do not use these people!!!!

This used to be my favorite place to get propane tank fills. We live in an RV so we use a lot of propane each year. The last three times I needed fills, the older lady in the office seemed annoyed to have to deal with me and said, “I don’t have anyone to do propane now.” And that was it. No apology. No information about when the propane fill people are usually in. Once was easy to brush off as someone at lunch. Twice might have been a bad day. But three times over several months? No. Not cool. I don’t know what happened here but I don’t recommend it.

Its hard to find the markings for the car storage spaces but a good place to store your stuff none the less.

Fair prices - wish they stayed open later..

Rates went up a month after I started and they have so many roof leaks/floods they had to force everyone to have insurance. And yes my rate went up again the second month after I got it. They don’t have any carts or dolleys because they claim someone stole them all but it’s been months. Gate is always broken.........Not what it used to be. Times change people change and with all the rate increases they should be better.

For the first year or so it was a great place to store my belongings but the last 6 months or so its been like pulling tooth an nails jus to get my storage bill paid an then when they finally do answer to take my payment i get hit with a 25$ late fee. I work out of state in this is very frustrating. I think its time to take my business elsewhere

I moved my storage over here to get closer to my home and this place has done a lot since Ive been there they repaved their lot and added a lot of lighting inside their units and the price is my lower then where I was for a bigger unit. Im very pleased with them and will stay as long as I can and would recommend any of my family and friends as well to use this place.

Recently improved with new gate and doir locks. Also looks like they finally paid attention to cleaning up the grounds. I was getting ready to move out but decided to stay

Pay the extra money and choose a different storage unit. I came back from a deployment and found people living in the units and going in and out of dumpsters. When I opened my personal unit, items were knocked over. The first time I thought it was from my own poor packing, so we cleaned it up, but I came back a few months later to things knocked over again somehow. They only communicate in letter form, so if you’re military and deployed, you won’t be notified of anything and they’ll just start charging you extra. Do yourself and your items a favor and pay for a better place. Thankful I moved my things out.

This storage facility used to be my favorite about 4 years or so ago. So moving back to Colorado, I chose this one to go to. I reserved a big unit and when I got there, the door wasn’t locked and the unit number was for a little 10 footer. So I walked toward the front of the facility and saw a door that looked like it lead to the front office. There are no doors that lead to the front office from the inside of the gate and I figured that out after attempting to put my code in at the front door inside the gate. It didn’t work. So as my brother in-law and I were going to open the gate, a man comes out the door yelling at us asking why I was trying to get in this door. I said we were trying to get to the front office and thought this door lead to it. He says, “no it doesn’t and if you come through this door, you will be shot because it’s private property.” There are no signs that says it’s private or anything and he didn’t have to come out angry the way he did. When we got to the front office, the door was locked and the person inside says “can’t you read?” As he points to a sign that says “masks required” behind a window that’s tinted. The wife of the man that threatened to shoot us says that he was just joking. I told her that I don’t think it’s a joke when he looks you straight in the eyes and says “I’m just telling you what could’ve happened if you opened this door.” Put a sign up that says private property then. I took my big Uhaul and went somewhere else. Worst service I’ve EVER experienced.

I keep my bus conversion here. They dont mind if I work on it in the lot but there arent many options for plugging in tools. I feel like my valuables are safe here for the most part.EDIT: Ive been parking my bus here for more than a year now. I did have my battery stolen out of my vehicle while it was parked here.

Great storage place that can accommodate your needs. They have a self serve gate so as long as you dont lose the code you have accessibility to it at all hours of the day. They also have different size units depending on what your needs are.

Do NOT store anything of value at this location. My camper which held every item I owned ( including my parents ashes) was stolen from this business lot. The signs all over stating that there is 24 hour video surveillance are 100% a lie. There have been 6 thefts that I am aware of (just ask anyone you see in the lot) since moving my camper to this location yet not one lead on figuring out who is responsible. The management and owner have not been forthcoming. They will not even tell me the last time my camper was able to be visualized on what the Colorado Springs Police Department stated were outdated cameras from the 80s. Do not risk losing everything like we did.

I would not recommend this facility for the following reasons:1. From January 2020 to August 2020, the keypad entry to my unit has been inoperative and have to use a different entry door which is further away. Plus, the gate entry and building entry are open to anyone without using keypad. Very insecure facility.2. l have had my rent increase twice for $10 since January.3. Notified in July that l needed insurance and it was a requirement which pushes my rental up almost another $10. By the way. l reviewed my contract and it states that without insurance the owners were not liable for lost of property. That was my sole responsibility, thus it is not a requirement. but they can remove your property for default of contract.4. They do not maintain the facility . No lights in my storage hallway area since moving in. yet all is needed is to replace bulbs in hallways. Unable to enter the nearests entry door becsuse it is kept locked for unkown reasons. Unable to secure gate and doors leading to units due to keypad issues.5. A cart is suppose to be available at all times for use in the facility, but it is kept in the office which is not obtaiable after office hours.Enter at your own risk. I wouldnt if l knew whst l know now.

Recently they changed management and all those of management is very very nice however there are few problems where it was open 24 hours which was very convenient its now closed or it was closing at 11 now its 8 and then I cant get through the gate even when the hours of operation are supposed to be open

This is by far the best storage facility I have ever rented from. I came in I was skeptical at first. Im more accustomed to the chain storage facilities and dont often Venture the unknown. I am glad this time I did. This is the most amazing storage facility in the state of Colorado. Not only do they offer a vast amount of units they also have really well-priced offices available for rent. These offices have no triple net requirements comma, are clean and up-to-date, in are easy to get to. Kenny and his wife are just wonderful. They are very professional, honest, extremely easy to get along with people who want to make sure that you get the best. I love this place and if you rent from here you will too. They have 24 hour access great cameras that catch is almost all angles an on-site security 24 hours a day. Amazing! I rented storage and 2 offices for less than my office in Denver. And the grounds ate kept in immaculate condition. The owner did a great job by changing management.

Dont go here they consititantly lie, ever since the new management has taken over. This place is a bust. Ive found people living in the units on multiple occasions. There door locks get broken and take weeks to fix. The gate to get in works when it wants to. The management is disrespectful. They lie about what you pay for. Id you can. Avoid this storage facility.

First things first... Holly is fantastic. Great attitude, positive and friendly. She made getting a U-haul and a storage unit on very short notice extremely easy. Wont lie, I stopped at public storage before this place and I was unimpressed with the customer service and the gentleman didnt pay attention to what I told him I needed. Holly listened, looked at what she had available and came up with a solution that fit my needs and my budget. In addition to the excellent customer service experience she provided, the units are also very very clean. There are on-site bathrooms as well. New to town and Im very happy I saw this place as I was leaving public storage. Wouldnt want my belongings anywhere else! Thanks Holly!

My experience with this business has always been positive. I have deployed multiple times and went back to these guys because they know how to treat their customers right. The staff is very casual, but at the same time respectful.Their facility is almost spotless. I have yet to see any pests or other types of animals in or near the storage facility. Sure, there is a spider here and there, but the chances of you finding mice droppings, ants, or roaches are extremely slim. The facility is secure and is easy to access 24/7.Ive recommended this business to a friend and will continue to recommend them. If I deploy again in the near future, they will have my business.

When I first got my unit things where good but the last couple months have been nothing but terrible. I can’t get anyone to return my call or when they say someone will call me back no one does. Tonight was the icing on the cake. I pull up at 4:40pm the guy says to me the gate is closed I said when did it change from being 24 hours he responds it has been that way for months. ( don’t you think your storage tenants should have been informed of that) then he points to a small sign that says we are closing today at 5. I would of never seen that sign if he didn’t point it out. Then I said well I need to put a few things in my unit he says no the chain is going on right now. Remind you I pulled up at 4:40pm you said you closed at 5pm so why wasn’t I allowed to put something in my unit really fast? I guess it is time to take my business somewhere else if this is how things are going to be now on.

Our experience was Wonderful....as our son deployed to serve his country we needed to find a place to store his vehicle...their service was superb and the communication long distance was excellent they kept me informed each time I inquired about the vehicle. So glad I chose AAA Platte storage very professional and considerate of our needs when we needed it the most their storage options were perfect and very affordable. I am glad we chose them very efficient & accommodating upon my son return to the states...Very pleased👍👍👍.

Super nice and helpful staff. The facility is very clean and seems very secure. The customer service and facilities set this storage facility above the rest I have seen. The only thing that I would like changed is the required 30 day notice policy for when you are leaving. It would be much more customer friendly to have perhaps a 1 or 2 week notice for when you decide to leave the storage facility. It would also be nice if they would then be willing to pro-rate the customers rent for the last month if he/she doesnt stay in the unit for the entire month.

Holly at the desk is just wonderful! I feel behind on my payment due to getting arrested and she made sure she gave me every possible chance to get my things without loosing them. Besides her great service its very secure and always clean! Thanks again Holly!

By far the worst storage ever I been locked out twice cause they decide to change the gate code and not notify the tenants again I have a truck loaded with stuff and cant get in the new managers sent out a letter promising all these wonderful things and guess what nothing has changed its filfty in the hallways and they have a guy walking around empty handed put a broom in that guys hand and a dust pan think its time to move storages to bad it used to be a great place 5 yrs ago price is okay but the other bs isnt worth it

Worse place ever! Our things got ruined by rust LEAKING from the ceiling!! And MICE damage!! There was mouse poop everywhere and all over our things! Youd think for a temperature controlled storage unit you wouldnt have so many problems especially for the price you pay! Then when we addressed the issue they said to contact our insurance.. No apologizes no offers to help clean out the poop, nothing! Dont go here! And if you do make sure you have the best insurance possible to get all your things replaced... And we did have insurance on our unit but they didnt cover rodents.. So make sure thats in there too.And no nothing was done to assist.

Ive always had great experiences at AAA Platte. It rare that you find a storage with both awesome rates and great service, but Ive always found it here. Michell and Michael are a class act and always treat folks that I send over there great, especially military customers. They have earned my highest recommendation!

You get what you pay for and in some cases you don’t even get that. This place is the lowest of the low when it comes to a storage. They state you aren’t supposed to stay/live on the site but there was definitely someone living there. They were parked across from my spot and would park their personal vehicle in front of mine so it would be difficult to pull out. The yard is dirty and not kept up. There have been some sketchy people just hanging out inside of the yard. I was late on a payment due to a family emergency and they wouldn’t cooperate with me. I was told on 5 separate occasions that I would get a call back and never once did I receive a call. Stay away from this place and go spend an extra 40 bucks a month somewhere they actually care about the customer.

Great storage location off of Platte. Great staff with cheap rentals, however there was a rental increase but still worth the price compared to local storage within the area.

Awesome facility with great staff awesome pricing and in a .good location. I store my bass boat here and couldnt be happier, I did a lot of shopping around for a storage facility and due to me living in an apartment Im constantly in and out of this facility picking up and dropping off my boat. Holly is amazing, super friendly and responded to all of my questions and concerns immideatley. Very secure facility and like I said could not be happier. If you need to store your boat rv trailer etc. Look no further then AAA PLATTE STORAGE.

Have never been able to use the locked doors easily and have even had others try. The say they have someone coming to work on the locks. My advice: get a different repair person! One time the fat girl behind the desk came out 30 minutes later to help. No customers in the office so it must have just been a long slow walk. Clean place over all but very frustrating.

I have had a storage unit there for two years now. We had a monthly fee that was reasonable. Then suddenly without notice they raised the bill. A heads up would have been nice.

Allyson is truly AMAZING. She is so kind and professional and she quite literally SAVED the day when uhal completely screwed me over not once, not twice but THREEEEE times. If you need a uhal truck come here don’t go to the actual UHAL. They are terrible. A++++++ for aaa storage and mostly for Allyson. You have a keeper of an employee! Thanks again!

Im sorry you feel as though your account has been mishandled. It is however the responsibility of the tenant to pay on their account. After multiple attempts at collection you made us aware that you did not have a working phone and requested all communication via email. After the 2nd month of non payment and little luck at effective communication we gave you the option while in the office to pay in full or pay a reduced amount and vacate. You chose to pay the reduced amount and vacate after which you said you would neither vacate nor pay. The eviction came at your request and failure to pay. We continued to try and work with you to no avail. We hope once you leave you find an option and facility that caters to your needs and is much more available to you for face to face interaction.There were never multiple reach out for accounts because my account never missed a payment for two months. When I reached out to ask for my monthly payments you guys ignored me. I can get them from my bank though. You advertise email and telephone as a method of contact and thats what i was utlizing and directed you on the correct one to use. I never opted to not pay, you refused to answer me until I was in person, and when I was in person I paid for everything that I was trying to pay for in the first place + some of your fees you deliberately allowed to pile on there as you deliberately ignored me and after having to go out of my way to get there to give it to you. My father had to move my items, you illegally evicted me out of my rental space due to your negligence on this storage unit.

The facility itself is as safe as it can be. I recommend it in that regard, which is most important. However, since January 2015 my monthly rent for a motorhome has increased from $90 to $116 per month (+28.8%). Plan on regular and inexplicable rent increases.

Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff. The facilities are clean, easy to access, and secure. We maintained a unit here from 2012 to 2017. That has to say something.

WORSE PLACE EVER!! The ceiling leaked rust onto all my furniture! Mice got into the unit and ate threw my cushions and left feces all over the place and on my daughters things that werent able to be boxed up! you would think that with a temperature controlled storage unit you wouldnt have to worry as much about those things!WORSE OF ALL THEY ARE DOING NOTHING TO HELP!!! I love this company. I had a storage unit with them for almost 5 years. They are very friendly and it is nice and clean.

This place is horrible. They cut my lock off and stole my deceased sons belongings. They have nothing in their records to when the lock was cut. One of the employees told me it was when I was about a week past due. When I confronted the storage unit about the stolen items, they unlocked and opened the unit next to mine and asked if the stuff in it was mine. Of course it wasnt and why would my stuff be in a different unit??? Ive had this unit for 8nor 9 years, and a month after my son dies, everything is stolen.Nothing was auctioned, it was stolen. I have requested records more than once. Ive been by several times. I paid my bill before it went to auction. Nothing was done according to Colorado state law. The police even asked for copies of when everything was done and nothing was provided to them. A detective has been assigned to to the case.

Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. It was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great place. Very helpful and understanding when life throws us a curveball. Were very accommodating of my need to switch units in order to secure a larger size. I was given whatever amount of time I needed to accomplish this task (took me a week even). During the translation I had my belongings in both units, with a personal lock on each door. Yet I was granted a pro-rated amount, and charged but once anyways. I’m grateful for their excellent customer service. I will continue to be a regular customer here, and have already been, and will continue to, recommend this company to everyone who cares enough to listen.I’ll add, I rated them 4 out of 5 stars for one simple reason; a reason that I’m still quite upset about. The switch from 24/7 access to locking the gates and with them, our unrestricted access to our belongings and units. They should have “grandfathered” everyone who was already a customer/s, and emolumented these new “hours of operation” to all new customersI’m so irritated by this operational alteration, due to the fact that the only reason I initially decided to do business with AAA, was only because they were the ONLY Self-Storage facility to my knowledge, that offered 24/7 unrestricted key-code access.However, I’d like to reaffirm my genuine opinion of AAA being positive, thoroughly appreciative and grateful, and overall, being that of a satisfied customer who will continue to recommend this exceptionally impressive storage tacitly to any and all.Travis D. This place is pretty pricey, the office employee is generally rude. They seem to have more than normal problems with there security gates either they are stuck closed and you cant get in or stuck open and anyone can get in.

I also had water damage in my unit and when I told the staff, they seemed like they could not care less. They have acknowledged the water leak issue and alerted customers to check their property but the staffs attitude was simply poor. On that note; Im not sure who previous posts were referring to when they stated friendly staff or anything of that nature because the lady in the office (I believe she is the owner - Michell Bainter?) was very rude and unfriendly during every interaction I had with her. The older gentleman in the office, who appears to also own the facility, was usually pleasant to deal with. Furthermore, do NOT use the insurance that they offer through Repwest Insurance. That company is nothing but a pain to deal with. Save yourself the issues, spend a few extra dollars and RENT ELSEWHERE.

They had my car towed even though I was parked in my assigned spot. Had to cancel my sons dentist appointment and find someone to pick up my older son from school because of their incompetence. My whole day was ruined because of this. And I didnt receive a sincere apology until 3months later.
