If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! TOTAL RIPOFF. WAS SENT HERE TO PICK UP A UBER VEHICLE TO DRIVE FOR UBER. ARRIVED AND TOLD THE “MANAGER” DYLAN I WAS THERE TO PICK UP MY UBER VEHICLE WHICH HE CHARGED ME $100 DEPOSIT PLUS $291 I already had paid. I LEAVE THE LOCATION JUST TO BE TOLD BY UBER THAT VEHICLE CANT BE USED FOR UBER. AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO BE REFUNDED MY MONEY FOR THERE MISTAKE NOBODY FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE OR AVIS CORP COULD HELP RESOLVE THIS ISSUE BUT WERE QUICK TO STEAL $391 FROM MY DEBIT CARD. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AVIS!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL GET CHARGED FOR THERE MISTAKES AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR REFUND! SUCKS!

I have been renting from this location frequently and for a while now. Service is efficient and friendly. Cars very clean and new. Can not say more than I have always been very pleased and happy with their services. I need to add it is a small rental area and usually only one person on staff at a time, and that person is responsible for the cars and renting them out. Gas is always full, cars very well kept up. Would highly recommend them.

No one was here. I called this Avis and I could hear the phone ringing. Operator says that all agents were busy. Front desk looks like no one has been there for months! I’m highly disappointed. It shouldn’t give the hours and no one is here. I came to the 10000 Baltimore Ave in College Park at 5:21pm On September 2, 2019. Smh. What a waste of my time.

Rented a car for 5 days to go out of town 600 miles away. The truck they gave me was filthy, it says oil change required, the alignment was OFF it was horrible. The guy at the front desk told me if I want to trade it out go to BWI airport. No sorry no nothing never again!! I’ve rented plenty cars and this is 1st I’ve ever ran into this kind of issue.

A customer service supervisor named Manny potentially resolved my compliant so seeing as that goes well I am satisfied with his assistance. But, I am not satisfied with the amount of times I had to call about this issue and the lack of service from the previous representatives.

I agree with every word and more the last reviewer wrote. I have only been dealing with this location for 3 or 4 visits and have been highly inconvenienced by the clerk putting charges on my account that I didnt agree with before he closed out my contract. He is always in a hurry to get from behind that desk. Communication and good customer service are some of the keys to a successful business. I am done with this location and possibly Avis period. Some of these rental car companies are too relaxed in their business practices. They need the company President showing them what to do I guess. Also Ive been renting with Avis for years which make it worst.

Rented Car 2 days back. Car given to me was full of smoke smell. I complained about it to the front desk at the time of return and he told that I should have informed him. The smell made me sick and had cough, headache and chest congestion. This is the worst experience ever.

The place was a little hard to find and the person was also never near the desk. But the only reason i give two stars is because the attendant was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We were supposed to be driving a Ford escape but they ended up giving that to smn else and we had to get the kia sportage. Price was cheap but wouldnt recommend if u want a guarantee on the car.

Incompetent. Location does not have after hours key drop.Charged above the telephone quoted extension rate. Dispute with credit card was in my favor, but avis refused to honor and sent me to collections. I asked Avis to review the calls and they conveniently only had 1 audible call out of 3 calls that I screenshot them.

The best rental location I have been to if you have anything to do business or personal this is the place you need to go to rent a car. You will not be disappointed, I am a USAA member and they have never let me down.

When I initially rented the car It was described to me by the agent that I would be returning the car tuesday morning. Come to find out tuesday morning that when I showed up at 10am that I was expected to return it by 9am and that their 30 minute grace period had lapsed so they were charging me for an entire extra day. I explained that the drop off time had never been reviewed with me but they cited that it was the policy and showed no understanding or sympathy for my situation. Rather than provide any customer service or acknowledging that their agent should have reviewed the importance of the drop-off time and corrected the issue, they defended the agent stating that it was not their responsibility to go over that information because it was clearly written in the fine print of the contract. It was buried in there. Not apparent at all. She then proceeded to tell me that her agent couldnt possibly have neglected to give me that information and that I must be mistaken. When I stated that I would not be returning to Avis again, the agent seemed unmoved to comment. Having rented cars from several different companies I am shocked at the amount of indifference exhibited here, and will never be utilizing Avis in the future.

Worst customer service. The owner Taklu or Teklu doesnt care about the customers. I had reserved a car on a Sunday morning to attend a concert and I had booked through the USAA website because I am a USAA member and hence my underage fee was waived off. When I arrived at the location, after presenting the credit card and the license, he asked me for my USAA ID card. I told him that USAA hasnt provided me an ID card and I can give my membership ID for reference. He stated that I am trying to cheat the system to not pay the underage fee and said that I shouldnt be booking through USAA at all. I said that I have rented at the same location twice and your employees let him go with that and enterprise/hertz also does. He said I own this place and I fire my employees. I said, Ok sir! Please give me the terms and conditions where it states I need to present the USAA physical ID and if it is stated, I shall pay the underage fee or if not, you need to waive it off. He said I cannot show you my terms and conditions and you know what, here are your license and the credit card, even if you are willing to pay the underage fee, I will not rent the car to you, now leave! I was utterly shocked how can this person speak to his customer like this. I was in such a fix that the nearest avis location was 7 miles away and since it is a sunday there is less public transportation options and it would take me 1 hour 30 minutes to go there and enterprise/hertz are closed as it is a Sunday and I have a concert to attend. He said, i dont care I will not give you the car. Just because of this idiot, I couldnt attend my favorite bands concert and if I had to uber, it would cost me close to $100 and public transportation took 5+ hours for both ways. Really pathetic.
