They dont follow privacy rules for tenants in NJ law. They are rude and overbearing. They blame you for other tenants issues. Maintenance have poor repair performance.

The actual worse management company. I have called within working hours to get answers about the apartment to be told that they arent open and that theyll take my message and call me back... That sounds nice and all until they proceed to never get back to you. I had to call 4 more times within the next week to finally get an answer. All of this could be avoided if they at least at representation at their building which for at least the last 6 months they have not. Please if you see this name on the front of a building for lease, do not move in.

The staff is great! You can call and they actually care about your concerns. Beautiful properties, wonderful events that support the community as well as the renter!

Blue Onyx is a God send to ne and my girls. They truly care about people and the community. I need to say they really really say that blue Onyx afforded my girls and I a better way to improve our quality of living. The staff has great excellent personalities and are great people. There is a blessing of great multitude to these people of this company. So Im in the apt. Now and its peaceful. My daughter says this is the best Christmas present. My granddaughter is living her own room finally. Blue onyx made it happen. A special kind of people. I still appreciate blue Onyx, but one of the tenants used deceitful words to the office, weve only been in the backyard once and weve corrected that mistake weeks ago. The building is kept clean and quiet. We mind our business and pray that others do the same. Blue onyx, our pet does not use the backyard. Since patricia the office keeps hanging up saying she has other calls. Her actions does not effect my gratitude for the betterment of me and my girls gratitude for the apartment and we are continuously working hard, abiding by the rules to continue our stay here. Thanks again 4 months later.

Blue Onyx Management has been a great help with finding an apartment and being professional when it came down to business. The workers definitely have a great energy in the office. I really appreciate the great customer service that was provided. I would highly recommend their services to family and friends!!

I have rented from this company for two years and my experience with them was wonderful maintenance was always there when you called the Receptionist were always friendly and helpful.Update: after vacated the apartment which I made sure it was clean and no damages they didn’t not give my full security saying I didn’t clean and they had to paint and when I called and asked them about it and I told I had video of the apartment after I left they told me I had to take them to court to get my security which I think that in fair to me.

The entire staff at Blue Onyx are phenomenal. I had to change my move in date a couple of times and they were more than accomodating. I love the amenities in my building. I would recommend this apartment building to anyone interested in a safe, clean and quiet building. Patricia, Deena and James were awesome. And so was the manager. Thank you all for making this stressful life event flow much easier and with a smile and pleasantries.

I lived at the same apartment for seven years. Never had a problem, they are great at what they do. Every time you called there office with a problem, they are there to help you even on the weekends. Best place I have lived.

The whole staff was helpful and professional, myself and family are extremely happy with our four bedroom apt in the Journal Square section of Jersey City. We had an issue with a window and stove and when the maintenance staff came to inspect they didnt look for easy short cut repairs they replaced the stove and installed a new window, this is the right way to address problems. They also have rent payments online. Which eliminates purchasing money orders and mailing or having to drive to there office to drop off the rent. This rental company is the WORST the maintenance manager Jonathan is a undercover corrupt person trying to steal my hard earned money doing side deals. I spoke to other tenants and hes done the same to them Im glad Im gettin out. The OFFICE Now you can never get any type of help from them they hang up on you or put you on hold. Dont work with them period

My daughter rented an apartment from this agency, they promised to clean the yard, clean the snow, and attended any repair and they never answered the phone, the apartment wasnt in good condition since the beginning and they were aware of the damage. When the contract ended the security deposit was not refunded in full claiming that my daughter damaged the apartment. What a shame!! I would never recommend this agency. I put one star just to be able to post this message.

I’m a tenant living in my apartment for a little over 1year and I can honestly say I am happy and content with my apartment and I also want to say blue onyx management are very helpful and very nice when it comes to thier tenants I have made a great choice trusting in them my apartment is affordable spacious and nice.

Is there a way to put 0 stars, very unresponsable, we try to get 1 of their apts.and gave them the deposit plus the sec.month and that was in November and me and my gf decided not to get the apt.and since then, been trying to get the money back and nothing 👎👎👎👎

Nohemy and patricia have been excellent they’re very helpful with any issues you have. The apartments are clean and up to date. The lights and bright which is great for a woman lol. The blue onyx management team is great in general and understand any situations

Avoid at all cost. They dont fix nth at all and I mean nth. Took a whole year to replace a toilet kept send someone out to do home remedies patch job. House looks good when viewing then move in day see all the problems which never got fixed. Not professional they act like a use car dealer selling lemons. The kicker is I put my 30 day notice in January 31, I lived out my lease and on Feb 7th I got a eviction notice saying I refuse enter a new lease and a Lawyer fee. So basically I have to move before my 30 day notice. So now I have three days to move out. I didnt even get a court date just a Court officers delivering a removable warrant.

Wish I could give a negative star!! Krystal showed me an amazing apartment & we were so excited to move in the end of this month! We paid the app fee 2 weeks ago ($30/person, even though I stay home with the babies & dont pay the rent) put the deposit down yesterday & now today my SOs background (years ago) is stopping us from renting with the agency. A notification that background check was being performed (like any other agency) was provided but was not pointed out as a bar to renting. Were talking misdemeanors more than 2 years old. We now have 1.5 kids (one on the way) and hes held his job at Marcal 2 years in October. You cant work there & be in trouble with the law. Absolutely ridiculous that it wasnt made clear that any criminal history will disqualify you from providing a roof over your familys head! And theyre crooks! Had I known his past would be an issue (has not been for our previous rentals with corporations) we would not have spent $60 on the application. We would have went elsewhere. Now, they have our money, its our fault we applied with his background & theyve stolen precious resources we need to get out of our current bad rental situation, where the realty company is in violation with the board of health because theyre not controlling the mice infestation! If youve ever been arrested, dont bother paying to apply with these crooks! It doesnt matter that theres been a change or you have a family to provide a roof for. They just want those application fees!

They try to do there best to Accommodate you as best as you can.

My sister rented one of their apartments . My bad rating is because she suffer a great lose of money with this agency first they promise to clean the yard cut the grass and remove the snow which was part of the lease . They only cut the grass once, never remove the snow and never remove their trash from the backyard . Her kids were never able to use the yard because there was so much hardware and wood that the agency never removed . Thanks to alm that trash their home got infested with mice and raccoons which they filed complaints but no one ever cared to help . They had to spend their own money to remove the critters from the home . The critter company explained to them how all that trash in the backyard was affecting them and that they should go to court . I recently moved to another state but i hope she takes them to court because they are very careless and they dont care about bad situations .

They told me the had apartments with a certain description and then when I went to the showing they were exactly the opposite. They totally wasted my time

I have been living in a mic infested apartment for 2 months now after telling this office time and time again to fix the problem. I have been patient and quite all this time and I see now that all i can do is speak to a legal authority to find some law that can shed light on the ignorance and negligence of this place.

Worst agency ever they lie to me took them 5 months to give my security deposit back even tho we left the apartment in great condition . I had to take them to court to get ahold of my money . They lie and cheat and never take care of the apartment once its rented but of course they want their rent on time every 1st.

Patricia a liar woman takes advantage of young couples looking for a first home . She is deceiving and not a person you can trust . Very unprofessional . Never filed any of our complaints and never reported anything and at he end we had to pay for all of it ourselves . Worst agency and employees.
