The stylist Cherice was 30mins late so I made a business call while waiting, as I had to have it taken care of by 5pm and had to work at 3pm. She arrived as I was mid-convo with my insurance company and sat me only to show her obvious irritation of my phone call by proceeding to talk to the stylist across the salon so loudly it was almost impossible to wrap up my conversation. She also left my edges and ears burned from the relaxer as she took her precious time getting it out even after I told her multiple times it was burning and even requesed to go ahead and shampoo but all was ignored! To top it off she butchered my cut and style! I asked for not a pixie and thats exactly what she gave me!! I will never return here or recommend this place it was ghetto service to say the least!! Nasty, spiteful stylist!

I could not recommend this place more. I was very nervous to get my first sewin and thankfully found Chareen for the job! She explained the process throughly and informed me of everything to do to make it last. The entire staff was so friendly and as a first timer at this salon they made me feel beyond comfortable and welcomed. I will definitely be going back!

I went in for two strand twist hair extensions and they where HORRIBLE my twists were VERY stiff and they were not the size I wanted and still charged me $160!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND

Went in for color touch up on my 4c natural blonde hair and came out looking worst than when I went in. Jazz has no buisness coloring anyones hair. I was soo disappointed because I was referred to her by someone named Chaureen. I literally left the shop with a hat on because I didnt want anyone seeing how awful my hair looked.

I dont have to look any further for a salon that can provide what I need for my natural hair. Dont let the modest store front facade fool you. I paid $58 to have my hair wash, deep condition, cut and silk pressed with the 20% off hair cut they have going on. My stylist is Jazz. I WAS ONLY ASKED TO BRING A MASK AND CASH FOR SERVICE.

The stylist really did a good job on my hair. She also gave me a complimentary treatment and discount and some good tips about making the sty last. I got a silk press and a trim. I would recommend this place for natural hair care since they have a lot of talented artists with many specialties!

2 stars because a very lovely lady and a lovely shop as well, BUT I always do my own hair but have worked very hard in this nursing program and just wanted to be treated for once (havent gotten my hair done in years) first to admit I know nothing about hair, I stated this several times in the shop I also stated that I want honey blonde hair several times. HOWEVER I before ever arriving I texted the phone number on the website and asked what are the chances of paying and leaving on day service with the hair color in the 5 photos I sent. I was sent the phone number of the color specialist I text her photos as well of the exact color I wanted. When I got to the shop I showed her more photos. Unfortunately she focused on what was coming out my mouth and not what I was showing her, clearly I didnt know the proper hair color name so I brought photos with me to ensure that I got what I wanted. She even asked if I wanted the highlight in the photo to which I said no just the color. I am sad because I traveled to Ohio to escape Arizonas heat and just wanted to be treated for once. She offered a fix for $60 I just couldnt take that chance, more money wasted and a wrong hair color again so I just canceled saying I left the state :/ so 3 weeks later and $135 wasted, she was paid and I left being an unsatisfied customer. Even typing this i am on the verge of tears because summers over pretty much and all I wanted was the color shown in the photos. I couldve box dyed my hair the wrong color for $10. So disappointing especially since I really thought she was a nice lady. I just feel like someone with years of experience would have said YOURE SAYING YOU WANT HONEY BLONDE BUT YOURE SHOWING ME SOMETHING DIFFERENT, DO YOU WANT THE HONEY OR THE COLOR IN THE PHOTO because she claimed that the color in the photos is called light blonde. Thats my honest review, Im disappointed and stuck with orange reddish hair but I guess .... a loss I took.ReplyI canceled the appointment because Im not paying more money to get the wrong color again, readers I did not lie when stating I sent several photos before arriving and showed photos when arriving. Owner asked if I wanted the front of my hair to be the highlighted lighter color than the rest of the hair, like photo I did not want any highlights in my hair just the color. I am not the professional I may have spoken the wrong color but this is why I brought back up (photos) which did no justice. Either way, I lose she won because she has my money and I have orange hair.

Id been to this salon before a few years ago, and forgot to give a review. My mom gets her hair done every so often at this salon and she suggested I go there when I decided I wanted a big chop.Its really nice inside, and I liked the stylist cutting my hair. I forgot who it was though unfortunately. Only complaint is the product I was suggested to use after the big chop. It was a leave-in conditioner that contained alcohol as an ingredient, and Id used it before. I learned prior to going in the salon that alcohol dries my scalp really badly and makes my hair flaky. I suggest that stylist ask their clients in depth questions about their scalps past before suggesting products that could be potentially harmful to their hair.

The girls were all very friendly and most of them have 15 years or more experience. Tiffany did my hair! I forgot to bring my hair extensions and she went above and beyond to find me some and even went with me to the place to pick them out. She was quick, but very efficient with the work she did and I couldn’t be happier with the end results. I highly recommend making an appointment with them if your looking to get a sew in. I had a full sew in weave put in about a month ago. I will say that the stylist was extremely nice but this weave has been giving me issues from day one. It took 10 hours for her to complete a full sew in without closure. When I called, I asked if she knew how to do sew-ins without a closure, she said yes. By the end, she said this was her first one! You can definitely tell. The hair is lumpy and the weave starts where it looks like I have a receding hairline. So poorly done. I’m taking this poorly done job down and let’s hope she didn’t damage my hair! Waste of a lot of my time and my money.

I dont come here too often because my hair is natural but the times I did come to this salon, Ive always left happy. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The stylist that was supposed to do my hair didnt show up but the owner was very professional about the situation. She acknowledged that what her stylist did was unacceptable and she offered different solutions to my problem. She was able to get another stylist whose client canceled their appointment to do my hair. I was very satisfied with how my hair looked in the end and just the overall service of the shop. While I was getting my hair done, I couldnt help but to look at the other stylists doing their clients hair and every single one of them do an amazing job.

My stylist Chareen is incredibly talented, but also educated about what healthy hair should look and feel like.I suffer from hypothyroidism and my hair has turned brittle and wiry. My hair was falling out and I wasnt happy at all. Chareen educated me about what vitamins/supplements I should take (Biotin and Zinc) and I stopped relaxing my hair. Shes given me protective styles (pronto) to aid in my hair growth and I am truly amazed at how my hair has grown and thicken in just three months.The shop, overall, is amazing. Got my hair done a little while ago. While I LOVED the finished product, I sat and waited an hour before my stylist got to me. I had just rushed to get to the salon right after my work shift and so that was kind of upsetting. Then once she got started, she started working on someone elses hair first which took even more time. I had been texting her and it seemed like she would be doing just my hair. I ended up there for over 5 hours for a style that only took 2 hours (I was counting). That includes the time that it took her to get to the salon.So as far as the style itself and the care she took with the style, it was amazing but she needs better time management and to respect her clients time. I really had other things to do as do many women who come to get their hair done. I could have had an event to go to or anything and I ended up being one of the last people still there. I felt taken advantage of because I was quiet I guess.....I didnt appreciate that. I still tipped her but I decided that Im not doing that anymore if my time is wasted.Its a shame because the salon is one of the most beautiful that Ive seen in a while especially for the neighborhood its in and everyone seems professional enough. Ive had this happen before at other salons but this is something that needs to stop. You can lose clients over stuff like that. 3 wasted hours is just too much...Update:My second visit was even worse. Im not usually the person complaining but My hair is a complete mess and I have to go to another salon tomorrow to get it fixed. The braids are obviously uneven....dramatically uneven. Even when I drove the half hour back to the salon to get them re-braided, she might as well not have done anything. The part is crooked and the braids arent even parallel. I have to say that this is my last visit. I wanted to like this place.The two images are before and after. They still look bad. I paid too much to have need to drive all that way TWICE and then to get attitude because I didnt accept THIS mess.Im response to your update... Both photos were taken of your stylists work. The first time she did it, I had someone take a photo before I undid the bottom half of the braid. I cannot cornrow braid my own hair and especially not the back and the part that was most messed up was the cornrowed part. So there is no way I rebraided a cornrow and I definitely did not rebraid a cornrow with added hair. That is even more impossible for me to do. I wear my hair in ponytails unless I get it done at a salon so I have no way of rebranding something like that. My after photo looks exactly the same as the before photo and I never touched the hair after she did it the second time. It still looked bad I just went and had someone else do it. In closing, both images are of her work untouched. I can do regular braids but that part wasnt the main issue, the braids were two different sizes so I had tried to rebraid the end of one braid after the first photo was taked. Im not asking you to punish anyone but like I said this was the most I spent on a style because I ended up having to pay someone $40 to redo the back. So I still paid over $100 even with the discount you gave. I appreciate the partial refund but in the end it wasnt worth it with the extra hassle and driving I had to do as well as time loss. I needed to prepare for a vacation, I hadnt had any sleep, and I went around driving trying to find another salon that would even touch my hair. No one wanted to work on hair that already had product in it. She put so much gel and mouse in it that it was hard and they would have to re-wash it.
