I called Central Heating & Air Conditioning Co to see if I could get a mini split added to my bedroom to improve cooling. Instead of selling me on the mini split which would have been more expensive to install, Stewart recommended a zoning system that would work better for me while saving me money. Thank you for your honesty! If things dont work out I will definitely be calling your company!

Kenny came very late in the evening. It was so late, I felt sorry for him since I knew he was out in the sun all day. He asked a few questions about what the AC was doing and immediately said ‘It’s one or two things’. Took out two screws, opened the cover and pulled a leaf out of the relays contacts & the AC came to life. He then educated me on what non-professionals needed to do if they wanted to safely do what he had done. He then ran some tests and closed up the unit. Very professional and on time. I couldn’t be happier. Some unscrupulous people might have tried to sell me a new unit but he just said if you have any other problems give us a call. He also gave me some parting tips on how to extended the life of the unit. Very impressed. Will call if we have any other problems.

The service we received was fantastic. Our service technician was Ken. He’s was friendly, thorough, and very helpful. Ken gave us some tips for preventative maintenance and made sure everything was in working order. We were so impressed we signed up for spring and fall service. Awesome experience.09/02/21:We had regular maintenance done by Greg today. He was fast, friendly and efficient. Greg took time to review everything he did to our system. We asked about replacing a whole home humidifier and Greg got us set up for that too. We’ve had two different interactions with this company now with two different technicians. Both experiences have been fantastic.

Central installed our mini-split system and continues to do all the preventive maintenance work. Their recent visit was to replace a defective part. They went over and above to get the unit back in operation and mitigate the 90 degree temperatures. We continue to be extremely happy with both their work and their work ethic.

We have used Central Heating and Air Conditioning since 1991. They have always been professional, fairly priced, and extremely knowledgeable. This most recent service was on a system that they did not install. The technician found multiple problems, including a drain pipe that was not connected to the drain! His knowledge and experience will quite possibly safe us from future water damage. I absolutely recommend this company.

Ken was the best service man that has ever come to our house. He started out by asking several questions about our furnace performance. He then proceeded to perform an inspection/cleaning of our furnace. He told me what he was doing and why on everything he did. He was very professional and customer focused.

This Company has Impeccable service!!! Stewart was great at explaining our options, When another company (My Guys) just wanted money to look at my furnace and I was advised they cant fix it that I need a new furnace. Called Stewart at Central Heating & Air Conditioning Co and he said no charge going to come out and look at it. He said I need some work done on the old furnace but he could fix it .After weighing my options we decided the best investment is to replace our old furnace so we could have peace of mind. Central Heating yearly inspection was excellent. Our representative explained everything he was doing and showed us how to better utilize our electronic thermostat. He answered any questions we had.He was polite, professional, and ensured he followed Covid protocol.

I want to commend Nick, the professional that came to my house to investigate why my furnace was not coming on when programmed.He checked the furnace and thermostat to rule out possible problems and found that it was the thermostat that needed to be replaced.Nick explained what he was doing and why. He went through the programming process with me so I would know how to do it. He was very pleasant and professional and I appreciated that.

Not only was central heating accommodating, but they were timely and professional. My heater gave out and they were there same day to repair. The repair was well communicated and the work was done properly at a cost that was more than reasonable

I had a new boiler installed. The company and employees where very prompt and professional. I had gone out to other companies for quotes. Some of them never even called back or were not timely. Central was there when they said they would and was very helpful in helping me understand the process and functioning of new unit. Glad I found a new go to company for all my HVAC needs.

Ive used Central for installation and maintenance for more than twenty years, and they are always on the ball and very dependable. We all get discouraged spending the money on service, but it is great to have a vendor with knowledgeable techs who supply great service. I recommend their annual service contract as you can always be sure that when you wake in the morning on a cold day, your heat will be running. I purchased a Trane heat pump and gas furnace from them 20+ years ago, and it is still at the top of the line for performance, and heats and cools my home great.

Central Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new boiler in our 100 year old house 3 years ago. It was a job of perfection and we have had no problems with it. They come for an annual skimming and check up and Ken, the technician, explains very clearly what is needed on our end to keep things working smoothly. Much appreciated. Central heating is the best, especially my technician, Kinnie. He has been servicing my air and heating system for over ten years. I always request him. He is kind, compassionate, concerned about your HVAC needs, and most of all the ultimate professional. The entire company are community oriented professionals. I have experienced two emergencies the last year. Last June, one of the hottest weeks of the summer, my air conked out; Central had me back in business in less than a week. In March, I suffered water in my basement which affected my furnace and hot water tank-Kinnie to the rescue. I can’t say enough positives about this company. Excellent experience! Called in for emergency service when the air conditioning unit at my 95 year old mothers home decided to stop working yesterday. The schedule was booked solid when I called for service, but Stewart Unsdorfer, the owner, was able to stop by her home in Lyndhurst and quickly assess & fix the issue. When have you ever heard of the owner of a company actually making a service call? Service rate was extremely reasonable, too! Central really cares about its customers and we are blessed to be able to count on Central Heating and Air Conditioning for all of our furnace and air conditioning needs in any kind of weather. Even a pandemic doesnt slow them down!

I have always had great results with the repairmen who serviced our equipment. This last visit was no exception.

Took a day off of work for a hot water tankrepair. When I call to check on the status I was told that the wrong part had come in and they wouldnt be able to come and install until to morrow which I would have to take another day off of work, no one even gave me the courtesy to call and let me know this. If didnt take tomorrows date that I will have to wait to after the holidays which was ridiculous.

Price was right. Two men spent two days removing an old furnace and air conditioner. They did an outstanding job. They tested both systems to make sure both worked correctly, then instructed me on proper filter replacement, and new computer thermostat. I would recommend Central to anyone.
