I took my daughter here for her 5th birthday and they went above and beyond to make her feel like a princess. When we walked in they all sang Happy Birthday to her and gave her a princess crown. She got the royal treatment and was completely pamper. My daughter loved every second of it. Thanks to everyone who made her day so very special. Love coming here.

I could not be more thrilled with the service and professionalism I received at Mia Salon. Angela, the owner is absolutely fantastic! She truly cares about the end product, taking extra time to ensure the best quality possible, rather than rushing through to move you along and collect your money. My nails have never looked so beautiful! She listened to what I wanted, was attentive, and delivered the best manicure I have ever had.Unfortunately, I was running late for my appointment but she graciously told me to drive safe and get there when I could. Even though I was keeping her late, she did not rush me or the job she was doing. She gave me the same excellent quality service, as her last guest of the day, as she would have if I were her first guest of the day.I use the word, “guest” rather than client or customer because she and Nicholas, the friendly and accommodating receptionist, truly made me feel like I was a guest in their home. They were warm, inviting, professional, and kind.On a recommendation, I drove 45 minutes from work to get to Mia Salon and I am so glad I did! The only person who will be doing my nails, moving forward, is Angela at Mia Salon. I will gladly drive the distance needed to be taken care of by the BEST!!!Thank you Angela and Nicholas for such a wonderful and memorable experience. I am a full time RVer the hard part is leaving my hometown and being away when I need a haircut. I researched reviews of several salons and chose MIA. Boy am I sure glad that I made that decision. Gladys was my stylist She was awesome so friendly and so professional However it was like having your best friend cut your hair. I am extremely picky but I did not have to worry. She did a better job than my favorite hair stylist at home. I gave a quick explanation and she went work perfectly. My husband agreed it was the best he has seen by far. I highly recommend this salon. Everyone is so nice too!!!! All COVID precautions were observed!

I had an amazing experience. Made an appointment the day before with no problems. When I arrived I was greeted very warmly at the door. The nail tech Sara was so gentle and precise. I am so happy with the outcome. I got a set of dip powder nails and needed just a few tips from previous breaks. The price was great. I have paid more for worst experience down the road. I will 💯 be returning!

When i arrived i was at least 10 to 15mins early. I was greeted by a young teenager boy. He ask if i had an appointment i said yes, he checked my temperature due to covid. He said that the stylist will be with me in a few mins. I sat and waited and waited and waited it had to had been at least 25 mins after my appointment time scheduled. I kept seeing what i believed to be maybe a manager or the owner? Walking back and forth in the shop never once knowledging that i have been waiting for at least 25mins pass my appointment time plus to mind you i was there 15mins before my appointment was scheduled. At this point i am wondering who and when was i going to be called. I looked around and i saw at least 3 ladies sitting in a salon chair getting serviced and one lady half way hair done . I didnt understand because they were only 1 stylist doing hair when this other stylist came from the back looking very distressed... she went up to the other stylist and begun to argue with her in a disagreement they had about her financial situation in front of everyone in the salon, which made everyone very uncomfortable and she was obviously upset and spent at least 10mins raving and ranting about her personal business. I couldnt believe what i was seeing and hearing and to mind you, i am still waiting its been at least 30mins pass my scheduled time. The stylist that was upset turns to the lady with half of her hair done that she would be with her in a few very rude and walked away. Thats when i realized is this the lady that is scheduled to do my hair?. So i asked the young teenager boy, who was scheduled to do my hair? and why am i waiting already 30mins pass my appointment. He told me im sorry your stylist is having a moment thismorning and when shes done with that lady and pointed to the lady with the half done hair.. she will take care of you. I was like are you serious right now? I just Shoke my head... and just simply walked out.EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO HOSPITALITY NO CONSIDERATION ON VALUE OF TIME OF OTHERS AND OR THEIR CUSTOMERS. VERY RUDE AND THEY BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH. AND TO MIND YOU I KNEW THE LANGUAGE THEY SPOKE AND UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING THAT UNPROFESSIONAL STYLIST SAID WHICH MADE EVERYONE UNCOMFORTABLE. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR EFFORT. IT WAS A UNCOMFORTABLE AND EMBARRASSING EXPERIENCE. SMH😠🤦‍♀️P. Angela was referred to me by my mother-in-law for tattooed eyebrows. Ive been wanting to have tattooed eyebrows for a while now, but have been reluctant because I didnt know anyone I felt I could trust to do them. When I saw my mother-in-laws eyebrows during a visit to Clermont, I asked her where she got them done, and she highly recommended Angela. Despite me living 6 hours away, I decided to make an appointment with her. She did not disappoint. Since this was my first time getting them done, she had to start from scratch and draw them out. She carefully took her time to sketch them, and was on point the first time. I love that she takes her time, shes a perfectionist, and she explains everything shes doing. You can tell she really cares about what she does as shes very passionate about it. Not once did I feel like she was rushing. 5 days later, when I returned to Pensacola, I called her and she took her time consult me on my care again as I forgot what to actually expect. Angela treated me as if I was her only client each time and she charges a great price! Her service is impeccable and I cant wait to visit her again for my touch-ups!

The place was clean and I got an appointment really quick. My hair was so long and I was in dire need of a haircut. I described to Gladys what I wanted and she delivered.

I just love this place. I am from New York and every time I visit Florida, I go to Mia Hair & Nails Salon. The place is inviting with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and wonderful who attends to your beauty needs. This place has everything; Hair, Nails, Facial, Body Massage and more. Had a makeover, looked wonderful. Had a full body massage, and left the place feeling so relaxed and great. All the tension I had that day, was gone after that awesome massage. I definitely will be back on my next visit to Florida. This place was great! I walked in alone to inquire about making an appointment, and was warmly received. I showed up the next day with my toddler and infant, they immediately told me not to worry about my babies, that they will watch them and entertain them while I got a much needed haircut. They were amazing towards my kids and myself. The lady that cut my hair did an amazing job! Went from a long hair do to shorter than shorter length. My kids loved it there because of how friendly the staff were. I even stayed after to chat it up with everyone, including other customers. Very friendly and family oriented vibe. I will become a regular !

I would not recommend this salon for natural nail services.Not only was I cut multiple times by my nail tech but she also used an electric file on my natural nails to remove soak-off nail gel polish. This nail file is NOT intended for use on natural nails and subsequently, by beautiful long strong nails were paper thin and to the point of pain by the end of it. I thought I was being a good soldier and it was merely three heat which comes from having the electric filer used on me....My manicure lasted less than one day before my nails ended up cracking the polish from being so bendable and flimsy.Long story short, I will never return to Mia and never recommend this salon to anyone except to stay away if they want natural nail service. (I’m sure their acrylic service is very different and it didn’t seem like a salon used to natural nail service...)

Few unprofessional and distasteful experiences will not be returning!Was visiting from New Jersey. Called in I wanted blue black done on my hair. The lady I spoke to gave me a price of around $85.when I arrived there she said that she needed to strip my hair in order to get the blue on I disapproved and said just dye it black and blow dry.My 6year old daughter was with me and also got a pedicure and a manicure. My daughter got a lollipop after asking. When she finished it she then went up and got 2 more for her brothers at home.The owner proceeded by telling her to return them that she should not consume that much sugar.I got very annoyed and told my daughter to return them I would buy her a bag full once we left.When I came to check out the total price was a$150 for black dye and blow dry only, plus $20 additional for my daughter.I questioned them asking how was the pricing this high when this was NOT the price given on the phone. She said they had to extra color for my hair which does not make sense and was inaccurate.The salon is not upscale what so ever to be asking that high in pricing.

If you like to go to a salon where everyone yells at each other to talk across the room and is obnoxiously loud, works EXTREMELY Slow (because they are too busy stopping work to talk to their coworker) then THIS is the place for you!! What would have normally took only 30-40 min (acrylic removal), actually took almost 2 hours!!I dont know about you, but when I go to get my nails done, I like it to be peaceful, relaxing and spa like. This is DEFINITLY not the place for me.

Am from California decided to call for appointment the same day. I get into the salon on time was greeted the rude unwelcoming woman Ask me what I want, I informed her that I have an appointment and as she kept talking feeling so unwelcome I decided to cancel right there and then reason was the attitude and the chemical smell in the air was so strong. So I decided to leave or I will get sick of the unhealthy environment inside.

First time at this Salon and I was thrilled. I had a picture I was not sure would suit me and they tweaked the cut especially for my face and the colour was exactly right. Their first language is Spanish but at no time did I ever feel uncomfortable. They made me feel like I had been coming there for years. I cant wait to go back.

Loved the professional service!! They were able to take me at such a short notice!! Raquel fixed what ULTA did to my hair last time. The ULTA salon made may hair too thin. :/ Raquel was able to salvage what she could of my long hair. I love my hair cut!!I love love this place!!! For my hair and nails!

I have been going to this place over the last 3 years on a weekly basis . I sent my daughter the other day to get a hair color and she was over charged compared to what she paid last time . I called the owner questioning her and she was very rude on the phone and said your daughter’s hair grew an inch, they even measured it to be sure ..Now they lost 2 clients myself and my daughter not so much for the money but from the degree of greed and rudeness ..The owner responded to one lady that wrote a review saying “ you must have low self steamPlease it spells as low self esteem, get a spell check before you respond so rudely.I’m never going back again .

Arelis is absolutely wonderful! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered better than I hoped for! I arrived 10 mins to my appointment time and she began working on my hair on time and was welcoming and nice! She cut my hair in layers and she knows exactly what she is doing! She is the closest hairdresser to the one I had in NY!

I got dip SNS nails. They were very nice and tried to please me. Since I dont speak much Spanish, the communication was a bit of a struggle, but we made it work. I will be going back in 2 weeks for dips and a pedicure.

Prices were fair and reasonable, which sometimes implies subpar service or quality...but not at Mia! I got SNS manicure, traditional pedicure, and women’s hair trim, and I had such a lovely time with the ladies in the salon, felt totally cared for and pampered. Highly, highly recommend.

This is the place to go! They were all super sweet and friendly. Very detail oriented and made sure we were all satisfied with our hair. This is where we will go from now on instead of that Noir salon at Cagans Crossing(very rude)

The Ladies were professional however,Prices are outrageous. No prices posted, nor was any quoted upon service request. Price gouging is a clear indicator when charged $20 for blow dry.(what I was gonna leave with wet hair?) I got color thats it. I was charged $95. (color $55 + $20 blow dry) I still dont see why $95. I will never go there again nor tell anyone to go. I will talk about the price gouging. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎

After the receptionist forced one of the ladies to take me... I asked for a clean up, keep my length and layered it. Ended up with 2 Layers and my ends look choppy it looks like my 4 year old could have done a better job with her barbies. Left there with my hair wet no option to style, no time.

This is a very unprofessional place since the new ownership took over I took my daughter to get her hair cut and the hairstylist couldn’t even brush my daughters hair without hurting her, I had to brush it myself after she gave up and said she couldn’t do her hair which originally we went to get her a hair cut and couldn’t be done someone else had to her hair and they still had the nerves to charge full price to braid a 3 years old hair with the horrible service that was given it should of been free the hair stylist Raquel kept on getting irritated with my daughter and was bold enough to say I’d she keep moving we will be here all day !!!! I will never ever go back to Mia especially now that management has changed the customer service has too. If I can give it less than one star I would

First of all they charged me 55 dollars when the only thing they did was washed my hair one time ( my hair was really dirty ) and the drying process was horrible.
