Love coming here. I have been here since I was I. High school. My family also comes here and they love it. Clean and they always make sure you leave satisfied. Give them a try. Walk ins before and no long wait at all. Appointments are better.

There are many staffs and they will take care good of you. Few of them not speaking English well but they do pretty good job. Just make sure they know what you want. Highly recommend

First - I have NEVER complained about a service before but today’s events are completely unacceptable. I had a 9:30am appointment for a pedicure, full set (acrylic) with nail art & eyebrow wax. My pedicure was good, not great but not bad either. Same for the waxing.Now for the nails - when I sat to get my nails done I showed the technician the picture from Pinterest. She said she could do it. After trying to do it for more than an hour she ended up giving me a French manicure. The paint on the French manicure was completely uneven. There were ripples in the paint. I paid anyway.I left and went to my car. As I placed my hand on the steering wheel, I noticed that the black paint on tips were so poorly done that they were spotty (see through). I went right back in. I told the lady at the desk what happened and showed her the picture of what I had requested and what I left with. She tried to get someone to help me.Then they said the lady who did them (Helen) would have to fix them. I said NO. Then they said if I came back at 4pm they would have someone else do them. They even showed her the picture (at my request) and she said she could do the design. It was now 12:30 - so I had been there for 3 hours.I left and went home to talk with the kids sitter. I would now need her to come back at 3:30 so I could go get my nails fixed. At 3:15 the sitter arrived. At 3:25 as I was about to walk out the door, my phone rang. It was the receptionist at Cocoon Urban Nails. She said that the lady had decided she couldn’t do the design BUT that I could come back tomorrow to have the owners wife do them. I explained at was not acceptable as I have 3 appointments tomorrow and no time. She asked me to hold on while she texted with the owner. Then she said - ok, the owners wife can do it today at 5:30. I agreed. Now paying the babysitter even longer.When I got to the nail salon this afternoon a gentleman approached me. He asked to see the picture of hat I’d requested. I showed him. Then he said, wait just a minute, my wife will do it for you.Great.She came to get me. I immediately showed her the picture. She asked how I ended up with just a set of French nails from the picture. I explained what had happened earlier. She called over the gentleman and they conferred, then she removed the paint from 3 of my nails BEFORE telling me that to get what I had originally requested would now be ANOTHER $20. I was sure she did not understand what had occurred. So I explained it again.There was a LOT of back and forth at this point. THEN SHE LIED!!! She told me she’d been called in on her day off, that as a nail technician they make NO funds and their only pay is their tips. That she was told my the man to charge me. At this point I asked that she just remove the polish from my nails and I’d leave. So she did.On my way out I stopped to talk to the man. I asked if he was the manager. His answer was - NO, she’s the manager. I said - then he lied. She told me you are the manager and she’s your wife. He replied - no I’m the manager and she’s the OWNER!!!!WHAT A JOKE!!! This place will NEVER get another dime from me!!!

Mandy was the most amazing pedicurist I’ve ever had! She was efficient, knowledgeable and kind! I will definitely be visiting her again! My nails & toes came out perfectly !!!

I hate to leave a bad review but what I got was nothing like the picture I showed them..Also, the guy treated me really poorly. I’ve never had someone talk to me so rude and tell me to walk outside or go home and think about what color I want to decide on and then come back when I’m ready.. I had simply asked if he thought white would match with the rest of the colors.. and he responded with that, while his coworker laughed out loud..I mean it is what it is but that’s the last time I’ll go there.No to mention that he wanted to charge me $80 for acrylic nails.. and he kept saying I was asking for too much... the design was a simple swirl.

My wife and daughters love this place. They do a great job at maintaining appointments and also accepting walk ins. Prices are competitive and quality of work exceptional.

I have only gone here twice so far... but they are really nice, they take their time... I get a great deal because I get a pedicure and manicure with gel polish! I would recommend them!!

You make an appointment and you wait 30 minutes! Not good customer service! Nail stylist Sue was nice and did a great job, but I dont think Ill be returning anytime soon.

I have been going to this salon for over 6 years and unfortunately, it has been going downhill for awhile now! The past 3 times that I have gone for a simple manicure/pedicure, I have had to wait anywhere from 45 min to over an hour...and this was WITH AN APPOINTMENT MADE IN ADVANCE!!! On top of that, any time there has been a problem with a service, they DO NOT offer anything reasonable to compensate...VERY poor customer service in my opinion! My daughter once got a nasty toe infection after she was cut during a pedicure and the owner only offered a $5 discount. On top of all of this, what used to be an hour pedicure is now being rushed to hurry up and get to the next person! I have given them chance after chance, but it is time to find another nail salon!!!!

Called today inquiring about vegan/cruelty free nail polish and the receptionist who answered seemed to be holding back laughter with her coworkers. She did not put me on hold and I could here them chattering in the back round and laughing.. It made me feel very uncomfortable to even think about going there as a new customer. Im looking to get my nails done for my wedding coming up and due to religious and moral reasons I do not use anything that has even byproduct of animal. Im honestly not one to write reviews or care so much for situations like this but it was honestly shocking.

I adore this little nail salon. Its pretty popular so I called ahead today and they were able to get me a spot with my girl, Nina. Nina is fantastic and her girls are, too! This is the pink and white powder. Its my first time switching from gel to powder and I absolutely love it! More sturdy than gel, but easier on the nails than acrylic! Id definitely recommend this salon (and Nina!)

I have been getting pedicures for at least 3 years. Today I went to get a pedicure with lavender and was given a price of $45.00 and I chose not to have my toenails polished. I did have on left over jell polish on some of my toenails since the jell wore off the first week of having done. So on my visit today I was going to be charged $5.00 extra to have the jell taken off my nails. This is the 3rd time that there has been issues to just get service. So after the 2nd time being over charged I have decided to not return. I tipped well and usually spent $100 per visit. They have chosen not to be up front with total charges in the beginning and their phone manners of the owner is horrible as he hangs up on you with no thank you or good bye. What a shame!

Four of us went for treatments on the 26th and 2 more on 27th before my sons wedding on the 27th. While the smell was really strong, so bad we almost left, I thought they were nice and did a good job. I was upsold to Gel polish and told it would last 2 weeks with no peel, I was disappointed when it started chipping/peeling off by Tuesday the 30th. However due to family in town from out of state, I was not able to call right away. I reached out to them the following Saturday the 3rd via messaging through messenger and was pleased they responded quite quickly. However, when I explained the situation, they did not offer to re-do the nails but only offered a 10% discount on another treatment. I expressed my disapproval that I was told 2 weeks and they didnt offer anything else as a solution. I have worked in Customer Service for more than 30 years and you dont tell someone something about your product if your not willing to stand behind it! Therefore, they lost my business and only get 1 star for a not poor customer service/guarentee of $50 mani/pedi.

I have been a customer at the salon for five years, every time I get a full set of nails and a pedicure this time only needing a manicure . The RUDE owner proceeded to giggle at me with a smirk and told me that he could not fit me in for at least an hour, acting like I was an unworthy customer when I do spend a lot of money in his salon every time. He has lost a great customer!!!

This place takes their time and always makes it right. They want to make sure you are happy. I love getting my pedicures there.

I absolutely love the service that I receive a cocoon. Everybody is always so warm and welcoming and they never miss whenever I go to get a fill, a full set and a pedicure.

Very nice place. I used to do nails and retired few years ago so I am kind of picky. Honestly, Cocoon Urban Nails is very beautiful shop and professional. They did a great job and I am very impressed!!! I will come back for sure!!

Me and my friend went here to get Nani’s and pedi’s for her baby shower. My nails were completely different lengths and there were multiple air bubbles which made my nails look bad but it’s not my baby shower so I don’t mind. My friend who is pregnant wanted pink and white ombré nails, they did a nude/orange and white. She went back to ask if they could just change the color and the manager completely embarrassed her in front of everyone else there saying how they were fine and she is too much of a perfectionist and he would redo it but charge her again. One you don’t say that to a pregnant woman.. and two if I am spending my money on somthing especially for a big occasion I am going to be a perfectionist.

Went in to get a pedicure and acrylic nails done. The pedicure was perfect but when it came to the acrylic nails it was a horrible job. I asked for coffin nails with a baby boomer design (ombre). I showed him a picture of the design. Then when he started to work I realized his nail drill tips were not sanitized. As he starts to work on the acrylic part with the first color he just Applies a large amount then with the second color which he applies an exaggerated amount to creat this huge block of acrylic. Then the shaping is horrible and uneven. Also i have 4 crooked nails. When talking to the manager i had asked him “do these look correct to you?” His response was “yes” then i go to explain to him everything that is wrong. The man was trying to charge me $90 for his work. And i am so unsatisfied with this experience. Would not recommend. Hope this doesn’t happen to you.

Wow. First time here and very impressive. Nice and very professional nails shop. The receptionist can speak Spanish also. They even have autoclave machine that I never saw in a nail salon. There are plenty nail techs and usually not waiting long. Highly recommend

I was told one price, but then had to pay $10 more for just very small gel tips. My nail technician talked to two women who also worked there in their language and would look at me and laugh. Very uncomfortable. My nail technician would also stop doing my nails to turn and talk to the other women who worked there. The man who takes the payment up front charged me $10 more and then laughed about it. I felt every uncomfortable and so did my friend who was there with me. Will not be coming back. I wish your business well though!

This was my first visit since moving to this area... I’m so happy! They are patient and sweet and friendly. I don’t feel rushed. It was such a nice experience from the massage chair to volcano pedicure to waxing. I love it! Will definitely be coming back!

I have been visiting this salon for over two years and they always do an excellent job. The staff is very professional and the salon is always well kept and inviting. Everything is always clean and they use autoclave to sterilize their tools. They always do my nails exactly the way I like them, I highly recommend this salon.

This is the first time I visited & I have to say it was a terrible experience. I asked the tech to only file my nails & not cut them which she did any way & cut my toe in the process. She then poured alcohol in the cut. Sorry doesnt cut it Im afraid. Will not come back & Ill tell anyone who will listen not to go there.

Been in Clermont for the weekend to celebrate my birthday, a family member recommended Cocoon Urban Nail Spa. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with warm hellos and smiles. Their ability to get everyone done in a timely manner seems to be a priority! I had nails on which I had done two weeks ago in SC and wasn’t happen with. I was given recommendations that would suit the style I was looking for. The technician took his time, was very courteous, and was very knowledgeable. I love this place so much! I have been coming here for a few months now and every time I come in I’m greeted warmly. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well. I have been coming in pretty late recently. (Today I came in at 7pm wanting a full set and I was put right in a seat and the guy did an amazing job) I wouldn’t go anywhere else ❤️

Just went the other day. Helen was absolutely so wonderful and gentle. She did a super job. I dont get manicures or pedicures too often but will definitely be back.

Do not go here. My daughters and friend had their nails done. When I got home my youngest told me she did not get a full set of nails. I called the next day and was assured by an employee I could bring her back ANYTIME and have her nails redone. I needed to bring the receipt when I returned. She went back a month later due to the holidays and illness. We were told she was not going to get her nails redone and the employee had no right to make that promise. When I called and spoke to the owner he told me the best he could do was a 20 percent discount. I told him I did not get what I paid for he said I was disrupting his business and he was going to call the police. All I wanted was what I paid for. Very poor business ethics. Would not recommend.

The salon is nice. This was my second time going. I wanted matching color, after my toes were painted I waited to get my nails done. After waiting past my appointment I was told they were out of the matching polish for my nails. Amber was apologetic. I picked a new color and started over. Then the second polishes didnt match. I know its not always an exact match, not my first time. What annoyed me is that the owner never acknowledged what happened and when I was trying to explain to him what was going on he just laughed at called out the prices to the girl that was ringing me up. I spent $80 bucks plus tip. Its not about the money I didnt ask for any type of discount, I just wanted what I was paying for. Wont be going back.

This used to be my go to place until the last two times I have gone. The work is so inconsistent and there are some extremely rude nail techs. This is why I made an appointment the last time i went with someone who had done a good job in the past. I arrived on time and even though I had booked with a certain person, I was ushered into a chair where a guy I had never seen before started my pedicure. I tried to explain nicely that I had made an appointment with a certain person but I was ignored. I decided to let it go and hoped for the best. This guy was terrible, my pedicure was terrible and his attitude was the worst part. I had to ask him to correct my big toes 4 different times because they had been filed crooked. He through a fit! He was younger with shaved hair on the sides and acted way too cool. This place became successful because of the professional staff and friendly environment they used to have. I can say with 100% certainty that those days are over. If this place doesnt go out of business I will be shocked. Customer service, kindness and honoring appointments shouldnt be so difficult.

I felt discriminated on. The guy in the front was about to start on my nail. Asked me what color etc...When a white lady came in he told me someone will take care of me. He made me get up & the lady sat in my seat. He was being so friendly with her & very cold to me. I just lefted. I was actually very shock to have been treated that way. Never been here before & never will go back again.

Walked in to get my nails and toes done. Was told by the manager that would be no problem. Once the pedicure was complete I was told by the tech that there wasnt enough time to do my nails. I asked to speak with the manager and he said they were too backed up. I told him if that had been explained when I walked in I would have gone to another salon that had the time. He said they would do it but I would have to wait for a tech to finish . He rushed through doing a complete set of acrylics. Now every nail has come off in less than two weeks.

Ive been a customer for 7l months and not one time have I been disappointed . Everyone is friendly and as a paraplegic wheelchair user, Son ( the owner) and his staff always welcomed me. Everything is fully wheelchair accessible... There are (2) ramps leading from the parking lot...1- in front of theatre, 2- on side of building.

Very clean establishment with the friendliest staff!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Best nails, professionals and always staffed well!!!

Terrible wait times

This evening I went to Cocoon Urban Nails at the recommendation of a friend. It is a beautiful salon. The pedicure and manicure stations were sparkling clean. I liked the fact that I could choose my own scent for the pedicure. The service I received was excellent and everyone in the salon was friendly. I will definitely be a return customer.

Worst place ever, Called for an appointment go there and they could not seat us. This was not the first time they could not honor an appointment. Not even an apology. Just we are busy. They arent that great either. No special treatment. Find a different place.

My mother has late stage alzheimers and they are understanding and patient with her and accommodating to me. They put up with her excessive talking and always are so nice.

I called the day before to make an appointment and ask for the price for a full acrylic set. The price they gave me was $25. After arriving 5 minutes early I was rushed to pick a color and seated. The nail technician immediately picked up a drill file and filed the whole nail plate didnt bother with pushing back cuticles or cleaning them up. Applied a drop of glue without dusting them off and then got up to go search for the tips she didnt have. One tip was applied crooked...I should have left then. Acrylic was applied thick and she didnt take the time to file it nicely so where new growth and acrylic meet there is a nice, unattractive bump. The polish was applied unevenly and a couple of nails have pooling at the base of the nail. After all of this I went to pay and was charged $37.00! Im not sure if they charged more for the gel polish or what. I will not be a repeat customer and I advise if you are reading this...DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

HORRIBLE experience today!!!😡I asked for something specific and reminded three different people and still did not get what I asked for....Everyone smiles and acts like they know what you’re saying but they’re not listening to what you’re saying obviously!!!!I was so frustrated and in tears when I left.This is the second Time that I’ve had a not so great experience here. I’ll give it one more try but three strikes and I’m out!!!

Joann has been doing my nails for over a year now and Ive never had a bad experience with her. Even during busy times they always manage to squeeze me in. The pedicures are good too, the gel nail polish lasts for weeks and never chips.The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is I only go to the same nail tech. I’ve had appointments with one or two other nail techs here and have been very disappointed with their work and unfriendly attitude. As a whole, I like this place, but I think there is definitely room for improvements.

I got my nails done a week ago and they looked great, but 2 days after getting them done one of my nails broke. Now having it be only a week, all of my nails on the right side of my hand have fell off.

I am totally disappointed with my visit today. I would rate my experience anywhere between a 0 through .5, that’s just to be courteous. First, I walked in smiling asking how the “manager” was and he responded in the most quick way, “what I wanted done”. Secondly, the nail tech that did my nails wasn’t friendly until after I paid. Which brings me to the disgusting fact she made me pay for my nails before she even finished my nails. I saw no one else asked to do this while I was there. Lastly, when she finished painting my nails she let me dry them for 5mins then turned it off and told me I was done. Mind you my nails were still wet and by the time I sat on the couch one had already messed up. Customer service was terrible. I bet the have nice employees but the manager definitely wasn’t the warmest toward African Americans I watched him interact with 2 AA women after me. This establishment won’t receive Monet from me again.

Some nail techs are better than others and I have my select few that I choose from when I go but I will say in all honesty that the way they treat customers of color is definitely different than how they treat white customers. It’s not in an overt way though. For example, they seem more willing to strike up convo with white customers while providing service and they don’t speak in their language nearly as often either or will translate what they’re saying to the m customer as not to be rude. When black customers come in they don’t seem to care much about building a connection with them and will VERY obviously talk about you right in front of your face. You don’t have to speak the language to know when someone is being spoken about; there’s a lot more than words that go into conveying a message. But they don’t seem to care either way. Now, not everyone there is like that which is why I continue to go and simply have my select few but I believe if they treated all their customers fairly their ratings would go up drastically. Otherwise, a clean and organized salon.

Got my nails dipped on Sunday with sally. She rushed to get them done. Not friendly. I expressed while I was there that I was not happy. She said I just needed to wash away the excess. That afternoon I noticed white spots, cracking and even chipping. They look horrible! Will NOT go back

Finally found a nail salon that knows how to treat its customers right! This place is fantastic! T did my pedi and polish change for $55.00 and they look great. I would recommend Cocoon Urban Nails to everyone.

The place is nice and clean. But the issue that I have is their work is inconsistent. When you have a special request or something as simple as ombré nails its like they have no idea how to do it. Its like your lucky if you get someone that knows how to do everything. You say you want one thing but if they dont know how to do it, they will convince you that their way looks better . I have tried them 3 times and out of 3 visits I only like my nails once. Lets not get on the fact that each tech gets to have their own prices.

Walked in for a fill in, they got me right in which was great. Then I tell the nail tech exactly how I like my nails (i asked for them to be thicker cuz Im really hard in my hands) she does my nails thinner than when I originally came in. I will not come back, the staff will repeat you then do as they please. Feel like I wasted my time and money for a service done not even the way I asked for it.

I arrived at the office two hours before close. After an hour later they asked me for re-schedule my appointment for the next day because they were full and they can’t do my nails that day. I have been doing my nails there for about a year, but unfortunately they lost two clients, me and my daughter. I went to another place, waited a little bit but they gave us the service we deserve.

Horrible service...and hated my nails..happened once with myself and once with my mother. The nail tech doing my mothers nails was NOT nice, and went as far as pulling on my mothers finger so hard that she yelped, he left nail polish all around her cuticles, the nails were thick and bubbled up..mind you all this for 45 dollars..simply terrible! Save your money..

Horrible, dirty they rush you, over charge you. I’ll never be back. They have people who can’t even file toenails evenly like seriously. Water spilling all over the floor, don’t ask what scent we want in our water for our feet . The price sheet says one price they make up their own. I used to love coming here but not anymore.

My daughter referred me to this place. Very nice nail salon. Wonderful, peaceful music playing gives thier guests a calm and restful spa experience. I noticed many ladies sleeping while getting thier pedicures. Usually this place is packed but today was great. I assume it was due to the terrible weather (hint, go when the weather is bad so you wont have a long wait. Once i waited for 2 hrs - !) i would have given them 5 stars but they have a really lousy nail drying station. All there is is 1 small fan blowing under a shelf so unless you are the one sitting next to the fan the only way your nails will dry is if you just sit and wait. Not good. However, this the first nail salon Ive been to where i dont have to worry about getting a bad nail tech.

Clean, professional, all around great place and staff, always trying to bring in new product for the clients! Everyone that has done my nails here does a fantastic job, but son and sulan are my go to people! I’ve lived in Clermont for 15 years and this is the only nail salon I will go to!

If at the very least my nails had been done correctly, I would have disregarded having to wait a half an hour for my appointment, and the rude treatment I received from the nail technition during my manicure when I brought it to her attention that one of my nails was filled crooked or during my pedicure when she pointed out disfiguation of my foot to the nail tech next to her, who she chatted with (in her language) my entire service. Lets not forget the fact that at check out the owners father tried to up charge my service by ten extra dollars saying they dont go by the prices on the menu, although I had been given a set price at the front desk before I even began my services. All of this I could have disregarded, If my GEL NAIL POLISH, not regular polish ... GEL, had lasted the way it is intended. Instead it was chipping and raising in FOUR DAYS! As a matter of fact, by day six, two of my nails peeled off as easily as if I had paraffin wax for nail polish. I do not recommend this establishment.

I visited this nail salon today and got a regular gel pedicure. I have been here in the past and have not had many problems. Today’s visit started out okay but then turned into the all time worst experience. The nail tech stabbed my skin many times and filed to fix her mistake way to many times. Which left my toes in a lot of pain. She also blamed her mistake on me. It also took way longer than necessary and the outcome did not satisfy me and my nails look horrible. The lady that cashed me out did not even ask how it was she just gave me my total which I should have not even had to pay for. If I could give it zero stars I would because after this visit I will never be back.

I love this nail salon! My mani pedis last for weeks! Service is excellent, great environment and very reasonable prices. I have tried 5 salons in the area and Urban Cocoon is highly recommended!

I have to say this is the best nail salon I have been to in a very long time everyone is just amazing and just takes there time to make sure you are so happy and your nails are perfection I will be making this my regular nail salon

Every time i make an appointment, its never valued. I dont get attended until 20 to 30 minutes after the appt time. Just feels like its always a rush to get you out but not in.

This place is the only place to get your nails Son and his staff are professional, they are always busy but worth the wait.
