I own one of the first two of these ever made, (Classic, originally called Steamin Demon 2) and it still works like new!It does require regular cleaning, and drying out the inside of the compartment when youre done for the day. Excellent results.

I have known about the steamin demon for more than 20 years. I am sure there have been many improvements and upgrades since I cleaned with one.Had a severely stained and grease, dirt stained indoor-outdoor carpet in the kitchen. This machine brought it back to new! Dirty water does not need dumping, extraction hose just goes down toilet or sink. Sucks the carpet nearly dry. No weird smells left like is happens alot with regular cleaners. If you and your family have a lot of carpets to clean, it would be well worth it to lease one of these machines. I have never seen any carpet cleaner come close to the power and effectiveness of the Steamin Demon.! Try it! You will never use another
