Good food. Customer service was hit and miss. My first time eating there was this week and the hosts didnt explain the seating arrangement. We had to ask a waiter on floor where to sit. Most people were confused by this. Communication from the time a guest comes through the door is key to a business. The communication was not there. Fried chicken had the same 4 pieces of breast on the line the whole time I was there. 40 min and no one filled the line with fresh chicken. Everything else was good though.

Everything was cold. My BBQ ribs, baked potato, and ham. The only thing I found good was desert. A waitress cleaning tables moved a stack of plates from a table she was clearing to one that was clean for someone else to use. Granted they didnt use them but they could have handled them or coughed on them.

Went out with my family to lunch. Service was slow and iffy. However, I didnt throw a fit about because theres a lot going on with covid and all of that. Food was good.

Awesome! Always fresh, staff not to friendly but ok, but parents need to accompany their kids to the buffet so they dont use there hands to grab food!

First time in GC in awhile. Always great selection of food choices but best for staggered visitation because it does appear slight variation of Menu choices. Ive found my food choices to be good eating and always like the dessert choices. Overall it was a good visit.

Would have been 5 stars if the jello was up to par & ice cream was a tiny bit softer than I like. Small things! Overall though - excellent variety & will go again when in that area!

The service was bad, had to take our glasses up to get a refill after asking earlier.Some things werent cook all the way and the crackers were stale.Very upset and will probably not be going back.The salad is the reason for 2 stars it was good.

The man serving steaks is the man to see, he has the best food going in the house. 🥩🔥Tables were promptly cleared. I’d like to see some more food options.The taters were a little cold and the rice a little stale but otherwise it’s a decent buffet.

We have always ate at golden corral and for our family of 5 have never paid over 56 bucks. But all of a sudden within a month it costs 78 for our family. Im sorry to say golden corral may have lost our business for good

Some of the food was hot and some of it wasnt. Waitress was good, nice and pleasant, she was very good, everybody else looked and acted like they didnt want to be bothered with and questions and really like they just didnt want to be there.. Replenishment of some of the items on the hot bars didnt happen while we were there. Generally in the past have had good experiences at other Golden Corrals, but this one was by far the least friendly and food bars least maintained.

I went here recently with my family of 3 for the first time and was disappointed innthe quality of the food and the cooks seem to be having a bit too much fun and didnt stay attentive to the quality of the food. Many things were over and under cooked. I didnt even The one is hermitage, TN is the best one so far.

First buffet I visited since the start of Covid. Very clean, and felt safe being there. The food was great! I loved all the southern items in the buffet.

Nastiest golden corral i have been in. Bathroom was horrible,something greasy on the floor in front of the buffet, food smashed into the carpet and they ran out of steak 10 minutes after i got there. I got one little piece. I got there at 6:15 went back for another piece of steak and they were out. Wont eat at this one again!!!

LOOOOOVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT! The two servers we have had interactions with have been the absolute best! We literally returned simply because of the server we had on our first experience. And the server on our second visit was just as great as the first. Not to mention the food was and is amazing. Even discovered, AND appreciate the sugar free items they offer. It is amazing! Will always return to this Golden Corral

Honestly a decent place for breakfast. Anytime we try to go anywhere else nearby in this town even if it’s early - it is super packed but golden corral never fails. You can always walk right in and find a table. Wide range of food for everyone.

Food was awful & lacking flavor! Buffet was 70% empty. Service was awful & it 5 servers in my section. I constantly had to put our dirty plates on the table beside us. No refill for my husband & I as we only had water. I had to ask for new plates & refills for my kids. Only reason i gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because my kids somehow enjoyed the disaster.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. We took our family to the Golden Corral on Wilma Rudolph in Clarksville TN on Friday 30 July 2021. I wish we had left before eating. The place smelled like a locker room and stale carpets. The waitress was acting goofy with her coworkers and at times completely disregarded us, even tell us you could just ask when we ran out of plates. That evening I had horrible abdominal pain and it hit my wife the next day. This encounter has made us swear to never go to any Golden Corral again.

Staff was mediocre at best, Appearance of some of the staff members was awful Some of the floors near the kitchen area was atrocious, Very slippery and it seemed like nobody really cared. Firstly I asked for a water and got rang up for a lemonade. So I figured whatever Ill just enjoy a sprite since its the same price. Well they were out of that which added to the disappointment. The food was overpriced and I still gotta tip this waitress. Will come again

We ate at Golden Corral in Clarksville tonight and although its never been a high quality meal restaurant you could at least get a balanced meal that was decent. Tonight, for me our $29+ tab was a true disappointment. There were fewer selections(one whole area had no food choices but was unused) and my food was cold even though I always attempt to stir and dig down to the bottom at a steam table. My pot roast, usually a favorite was dried out, hard and untasty, the soups were dried up and needed stirring and diluting, and the dessert selection had less, was sloppy, and the hot fudge spout was an unsightly, caked on mess. It worried me that the food was not kept at the proper temperature to be safe not to mention my meal was just not great. My husband did have some tender ham, a BBQ drumstick, and steak that was good. But generally speaking, the lack of care was apparent and either they are short of help or have poor management. I wont return.

This was the worst GC (Golden Corral) experience Ive ever had. The buffet was more like how many ways can we make these 4 ingredients? There was potatoes 4 different ways, green beans 3 different ways, and chicken 3 different ways. For a buffet I got robbed. Very lazy staff, was here over an hour and we seen by our server twice. Once to drop off new plates, and second to pick up plates. Couldnt get a drink refill, new utensils anything.Save your time and money and go somewhere else. This place isnt worth it. Staff doesnt care about your experience.

Honestly the food is decent but the staff Ive had the pleasure of dealing with always makes this a wonderful change of pace when it comes to buffet eating.

The establishment smells of spoiled food or water. One side smelled of sewage. In the parking lot it was over welming stench of garbage. Food was under and over cooked. The server was awesome. She was great from start to finish.

Havent been in a long time and I finally decided to go and its just like they dont take pride in their food anymore. I attempted 3 time to get medium steak and twice it was over cooked and one time it was burnt on the outside... I cant really say it was the cooks fault because he was confident in what he was doing but i think he definitely needs more training on the temp of food he is cooking.

I’m going to give them two stars because it was nearly closing time, so that might have played a part in the horrible experience. Let me also say, our server was exceptional... once she found us. 🙄When we arrived, we were told there was plenty of time for us to eat (it was about 30 minutes before they were to close). We were told to seat ourselves, then after 10 minutes a waitress said... do you mind moving? We are trying to close this section. So we moved to another and the server wasn’t informed so we waited another 10 minutes. The restaurant was dirty... tables covered in food and dishes. Once we were told to find our own table it was difficult to find one that wasn’t dirty and still be able to social distance. Once we got to the food, we learned that we probably did not want to ever come to a golden corral at closing time. The food was horrible and cold. The only saving grace was the sweet server and her positive attitude after a long day. Come on Golden corral you’ve got to do better than this! Don’t charge someone $50 for a full meal if you’re not going to provide a full service 30 minutes before you close.

Very good experience the guy that was training the young lady was very nice I loved him I think she had a very nice trainer I wish I remembered his name.i would come back and ask for him and she was making sure we were taken care of thats all we ask when dining in is great friendly service it speaks very well for business and customers pay close attention to that.it was gteat👍

Most of the food was Luke warm at best. I was extremely disappointed! Chicken, pot roast, pizza all cold. Ham looked dry and withered, mashed potatoes were hot. The server Desirae was superb though which is the reason for 2 stars.

I find this Golden Corral to be very clean and well decorated compared to others Ive been to in other areas. Most of the food delicious and available without having to wait much time for it to come out if it ran out. The service of the employees towards the customers was also great. I recommend it.

Golden Corral used to be my favorite place to go for a quick meal. Unfortunately Golden Corral no longer has the kitchen staff that they used to and now the food is horrible. The smoked sausage is always cold on the inside, the fish is undercooked, the chicken is either undercooked or overcooked. The stars are for the wonderful servers. The table servers are so friendly. Please Golden Corral hire staff that can cook.

This place has hit rock bottom. It so disappointing because I used to enjoy it. Food was TERRIBLE and the bathrooms smelled like human poop. And it is very expensive for what you get. I honestly hope it is a management problem because that is correctable but it will be a loooooong time before I go there again. Homeless blankets that were outside the door should have been my first warning but you live and learn I guess

I want to say I would have rated this a 1 or 2 star except that there was 2 awesome people who made the experience worth it the first being Abigail who was not our original waitress but showed kindness and caring to 2 tired parents who had a grumpy toddler that was hungry if it wasnt for her we would not have had a clean table or drinks because our original waitress was rude and ignored us entirely (I dont know her name or I would put it she needs to be fired.) And the second amazing person (I dont know her name but she worked in the grillhouse last night 03/20/21.) Had the most positive attitude and upbeat personality I have ever seen these 2 women deserve a raise because to a parent who has had a bad day or just a really long one needs this type of kindness THANK YOU BOTH FOR DOING IT THE RIGHT WAY!!!! 💖

When I walked the bar before fixing my plate I wanted to ask for my money back! The food...what little was out..was dried and looked old. The taste of the food was horrible! I will NEVER go back there nor do I recommend them.

Im not usually a buffet guy, but its good to have it back after the pandemic closures. The food was as youd expect, okay, even some of it good, but not fine dining. Good if you are on the road with teenage boys, which we were, so we stopped.

I placed a curbside pickup order this evening. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes after the predicted time that the order would be ready. I parked in the to go parking area and clicked the I am here tab on my confirmation email. I was then redirected to a page that said thanks for letting us know. We will bring your order out shortly. I then waited 30 minutes past the predicted time, at which point I attempted to call the restaurant. 4 times no one answered, then on the 5th time I explained I had a curbside pickup order. The worker interrupted me and said abruptly, Yeah, its ready. To which I replied, So am I supposed to come in and get it? They said yes its at the front desk. I then explained I chose the curbside pickup option so that I would not have to go inside the restaurant and that the email said someone would be bringing my order out to me, thats why I had been waiting so long. They then replied I dont know why it said that, most people come in and get their order. Then when I went in to get my order, they helped 2 other groups of people that came in after me before they finally got my food to me. When you place an order online there are 2 options, pickup and curbside. If the curbside option requires you to come inside to pick it up, there should not be a distinction between the two. If I had known my food had been ready and I had to go in to get it, I would not have waited so long. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt as there were a lot of people coming in and out of the restaurant and I assumed they were working on a lot of orders. If they do not offer curbside pickup where someone brings the food out to your car, they need to change the options and the wording in the confirmation email saying someone will bring your order out shortly. It is very misleading and I was very disappointed in my food because it had set ready for so long.

We ate at Clarksville Tn on Tuesday. We used to eat there often before covi.. It was good then but tuesday it was very bad. We wont be back for a long time if ever. Baked potatoes bot done medium well steak well well done, salad bar a wreck when asked who was in charge of cleaning bar was told managers but none were on duty yet one was standing talking. Dessert bar was a mess food had been sitting looking dry on top. Manager didnt start barking orders until 506pm. I guess this is the service when you stop in between lunch and dinner hours. Waitress never refilled drinks and to be honest wasnt more than 30 to 40 customers at tables seated. Smh not worth $36.31 for 2 ppl at 417pm. No stars!!!

I recently had lunch here with my wife and in-laws. I ate a 4 course meal. Salad, entree, bread pudding, soft serve ice cream. Where else in America can you do this for $15? I almost forgot we are in a global pandemic. The lettuce was crisp, the seafood salad sublime, the pot roast tender, and the yams perfectly seasoned and creamed. My only regret was that I didn’t have two stomachs to go back for another 4 courses. Golden Corral reminds us that well known, classic foods can still rise to the occasion. We will be back.

I rarely leave reviews but this one is needed. Before you drop 30 on lunch for 2 or 40+ on dinner, u might want to try a steak house instead. The veggies are very bland and the selection of meats is sub par at best. Tables are not clean as should be and sweet tea is almost sugar water. I use to love this place but I can see why Buffett styles are failing,or maybe managment just dont care anymore. Either way, I personally would recommend you spend your hard earn money on better service and food.
